Reminder you’re allowed to get bored of games. You’re allowed to put games down, and pick up other games for a while. You’re allowed to get burnt out from grinding, hell skip grinding all together and just cheat if you’re able. What I’m saying is, some games are commitments, you don’t have to play it like everyone else plays it, and just bc you don’t finish it within a week like everyone else, doesn’t mean you don’t think it’s good. So long as you enjoy the time you do spend in it, that’s all that matters, and you can’t enjoy yourself if you’re pushing or forcing yourself through it.
Social media has put so much extra added baggage onto games, and I just want to remind you that games, like all media, are for your own enjoyment first and foremost.

i find it so amusing how kathryn and aubrey decided to avoid each other while exchanging music and poetry, essentially in a sort of long-distance relationship, prior to shooting to intensify the tension between agatha and rio. truly went all in for the lesbian experience.

Wei Wuxian might actually be my favourite depiction of an adult interacting with unrelated kids that I’ve ever seen in fiction. He reminds me of the adults I look back on fondly from when I was growing up, and of the adult I want to be when interacting with teens through work etc.
He’s fun and silly and teases them, but knows when to step up as the adult in the situation and be responsible.
His degrees of closeness to them are appropriate; closer to the ones who are “his kids” (ie Jin Ling as his nephew and Sizhui eventually as his son), and friendly but not excessively so with the others.
He actively watches out for the kids and protects them from danger, but also gives them practical advice and opportunities to spread their own wings and exercise their own abilities.
He impresses upon them that they don’t need to achieve the things their fathers and uncles had by their age: he was there, he knows those tales of glory are rooted in blood and suffering, and he works to free the juniors from the pressure to hold themselves up to that shallow veneer of triumph as a standard.
He even occasionally drops good relationship advice even before he and Lan Wangji get their shit together: the bit in Yi City where he refuses to waste time on the whole “I won’t leave without you!” thing and instead tells the kids essentially, “No. I trust him, and I have to do what I need to do, and leave him to do what he needs to do,” really sticks with me.
Anyway...rambling, but yeah. I love him, and I love that he’s sometimes a disaster but he is so good at switching to Adulting Mode as needed. Also there’s definitely some very bittersweet thoughts to be had about the fact that, aside from his brief sweet memories of his parents, Yanli was definitely the one who taught him how to be a caretaker. And now, he gets to use what she taught him to watch over her son.

What i see common in all questions is how, most treat being aware as states. Let me elaborate, it’s very subtle some think the more they’re aware they’ll “see” it with their senses. there’s so much focus on the senses, experiencing it with the senses. this just implies you didn’t experience it, as soon as you became aware, so you created a separation by “waiting” for it appear in the illusion or seeing it with your senses. go deeper than that, don’t use senses as a validation, they’re illusory. your true nature as “ ” is far greater than that. There’s nothing wrong to experience what you want, by all means do so, but you’re so focused on “changing” “senses” “waiting for it change”.

Note
Autism culture is feeling like a fake fan bc I don't know everything about this specific piece of media and people know more than me. I guess my hyperfixation isn't real then

bpd culture is avoiding drugs and substances not for any moral reason but because you know if you ever tried them you would just end up filling another criteria on the dsm-v

obsessed w the bear and I think- Carmen is the happiest when he's creating, and syd is too, but she's got the executive energy, that patience, and that will to follow through.
his creative spirit needs her executive powress to see the bear through.
I feel like he doesn't know that yet, he knows he needs her, as an equal, but he can't place her correctly or let her take the wheel because he is not self aware.
w syd, the bear can be more sustainable and progressive. she cares because she knows she can do better and be better but Carmen has his own idealogies and mopes about within those limits and insecurities.
let syd take the wheel jesus
as someone who has been in her position, she's 🤏🏼 close to losing her shit, and she's tested heavily as we see in the S3 ending.
could be romantic too tbh, but this is my perspective, it's brutal out here for minorities and women

no because why is elemental the literal embodiment of the absolute PRESSURE 1st & 2nd gen migrant kids face? the overwhelming reality of the unfathomable and tremendous sacrifice your parents made to give you the opportunities they never had...the weight of all that expectation to not only succeed but to succeed excellently because you are the culmination of generations of hopes and dreams, of blood, sweat and tears... The hopelessness of wondering how you could EVER pay back that kind of sacrifice and loss? the desperate need to be strong and do it anyway? The frantic desire to never disappoint, to never be the reason they regret it all... The constant internal struggle between your dreams and their legacy, your desires vs weight of their sacrifice, your future vs their past?? The burden of having to carry all of that and hating yourself for hating it because how could you spit in the face of all that sacrifice???! Why can't you just be grateful??!!
I'm a bad daughter
