#artists on tumblr #been super busy all year #but trying to sketch some personal art sometimes too #there's so many pieces i want to make #but most of them are massive and will take a lot of time #if i vanish for a month just know i'm somewhere out there cooking #also just got my plane tickets to finland for this summer...#the prices are nuts but i need to go back at least once a year #to see my mom and my friends #as much as i hate flying #excited to visit a con this summer #the first one in many many years #just as a visitor #though it would be awesome to do artist alley one day

If you love drawing then just keep at it, you're on the right path :) I think the key is finding a good balance between studying books, tutorials, drawing from reference, all that technical work - and then just having fun and drawing what brings you the most joy. The better grasp you get of the fundamentals, the more complicated things you'll be able to draw, but if you try to grind it too hard you'll lose the fun of it.

Enjoy the journey and remember that the fact you're putting in the effort and creating things with your own hands is inherently valuable! Every beginner artist is braver than any genA*I user could ever hope to be.

Thank you! I'm always a bit wary about adding fanart prints since every studio and creator has different policies about selling fanmade merch. I would love to, but will have to see.
