I had to flee my home, and now I live alone in a tent made of torn fabric in southern Gaza.

The constant bombings are unbearable, but being a lesbian in a society that rejects me is even harder.

I live in constant fear of violence and judgment, with extreme shortages of food, water, and basic supplies.Life has become a daily struggle for survival.

Ojalá, the ceasefire will begin on Sunday. It is past due and has taken great sacrifice to get here. It's important to know that this ceasefire is not the end goal of standing with Palestine, and it won't be over until Palestine is fully liberated and no longer under an apartheid, genocidal colonial regime.

It's important to stay in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and one of the ways you can do this is by donating directly to them so that they have something to help rebuild their lives with.

One of the people that you can donate to show solidarity with is Sama Mohammed. She's been widowed by this genocide and has been providing for and protecting her 2 young children throughout this. She wants to be able to start a new life that is one that they deserve, and be able to start to put this immense trauma and loss behind them.
