you know, i was kind of surprised that law was willing to give buggy the benefit of the doubt in ch1056, when luffy and zoro treated the apparent cross guild hierarchy with such disbelief and disdain—but then i remembered that when law met buggy, he flew across the paramount war battlefield to throw law luffy's hat. he must have the strangest first impression of buggy.

like, plenty of characters misunderstand buggy's abilities, but i think law may have the worst understanding of buggy's personality of anyone who doesn't worship the ground buggy walks on.
