Just another session of an inspired QuesadillaSlam skit
Unfortunately won’t be able to continue for a while.
Yesterday I got Lila’d. And by that, I mean, my day was going alright and then strange crap happened that ruined it and my plans. This is like the third time. It’s a shame cause I was working on stuff that took me a few days to do.
Enough of that though:
Adagio Dazzle Hair (Rockset)
Starlight Glimmer hair or hat (Mythicspeed, Minerjacker)

How some people are capable of looking at a teenage boy crawling away in absolute terror from his own father (who's literally in the middle of physically, mentally AND emotionally abusing the superhero he now knows is his own son) and still think Adrien's the problem is totally beyond me...

Respectfully, I am just freak out about the 'death grip' the batfam fandom has on Danny Phantom and Miraculous LadyBug
I just don't like how most authors just forgot the characters themselves, their entire personality and personal plot when they turn them into a 'batkid'
Also, the sheer number of fics, like...at least 50% of the Miraculous x Batman/Young Justice/ Justice League are like that
Most genuine ignore Marinette's wonderful parents or bashing them, went to the typical Fenton-Hunting-Phantom-After-Secret-Reveal or Friends-and-Family-All-Dead
Or Long Lost Twins? Bio Dad Au? Kinda Weird
Or forgot Billy Batson's found family and his distrustfull street kid nature and independent life, not just the 'Yes, Mr Batman Sir' thats his alter ego. Pretty sure Billy, as feral 10-14 year old foster kid, would fucking bite them

PJO, Harry Potter, Miraculous Ladybug and Boku No Hero fandoms are four of the most toxic fandoms I've ever seen.

Let's be honest, Marinette and the rest of the characters put more effort into trashing Chloe herself than into actually helping (And they still have the nerve to say they were trying to help when in reality all they said was "Be nice" and nothing else, it's a strong attempt to avoid making an effort to help, which the person needs)
Yes, I'm pissed, that's why there are so many posts, but seriously, the fandom still believes that the characters tried to help Chloe and it's all her fault because she didn't accept "Help", too bad it wasn't even help (This song fits so well)
youtube
Yes, I get annoyed with people in the fandom who say that the characters tried, it's bullshit, they didn't do anything to help her (And that's why they put more effort into destroying her than actually helping her), and empty words are things anyone can say

Criticism Is A Disccussion. It Shouldn't Be The End.
I hate the pervasive, "If you enjoy this, then you're not engaging with it critically." It's this underhanded way of trying to instill shame in another for daring to like something without dissecting its "flaws" the way they would.
It's like the whole, "You're all sheep," but done in a "rational" demeanor. Dude... I watch whatever the goddamn hell I want to. I have shit taste and proud of it. I'll watch The Rise of Skywalker with gleeful abandon and gladly flip off the internet's "consensus."
And yes, this does apply to RWBY and the hate following it has
That's really the issue with Hbomber's video as far as I can tell. I do not want to dismiss the thought exercise of going through something you felt was lacking a certain aspect. You were hooked into a show but it doesn't feel like the ball's been rolling much.
Fan works that describe how one would do a particular movie in a franchise or a season in a TV show is something that I can often indulge in. Keeping up with Power Rangers, some newer seasons definitely have been better than others.
It's when the person doing all this gets too big for their britches and shames anybody for daring to go against their opinion. It's not always in a vehement way so much as in a, "Pooh-pooh, how sad that you cannot engage in this very much flawed media with the critical intellect that I myself possess."
It's a form of gaslighting that paints pissed off fans as "irrational" for taking issue with such bad faith criticisms, ones that they counter with awfully rational points if I might add.
There's also a major ego problem where they think their idea of what RWBY should be are more important that what anybody feels contrary to them. It's like there has to be this compartmentalization when it comes to what's "bad" and what's "good" with no room for subjectivity.
Everything's gotta be sorted out like they're just started at Hogwarts (for lack of a less squicky analogy). No room for nuance. No room for anybody going against the vocal opinion of, "It's bad," or "It's good."

" You need to be patient because Season-X will be better "
" You need to be patient because the show is not over and there are 6969 Season that coming soon "
" Season-W maybe bad but I believe they will fix it in Season-X "
" There are MORE season guys... sooo~ wait for Season X, Y, Z "
" I still optimist because other writer will redeem it in next Season "
Tumblr media
Maaaan~ Just shut up and stop being dumb to give a hope for a shit-show will be redeem like you already know the past season already PLENTY inconsistency, retcon and so-on, with the writer doesn't give a shit about criticism because he believe his fans are brainless shipper and young kids so who cares about consistency as long as your ship is sail in WORSE way possible.
They will "Redeem" it by stealing the fan theory, fanfiction, fanart, retcon the show, make unnecessary "multiverse" by claim it as "already planned it from beginning"
" If you hate it so don't watch it "
Alright, I already leave the show and doesn't give a fuck about the show or your headcanon to prove how "deep" the shit show it is

I’m not a big fan of discourse and confrontation, so oftentimes if there’s discourse in my fandoms I’ll just keep scrolling. I’m a big fan of leaving the things that don’t affect you in real life alone, even if you might disagree with what’s being said. And honestly I don’t think that all disagreements in fandom are bad, it can lead to some really interesting analyses of media that you might not have noticed without having to go back to the source to defend your points. But I feel like it needs to be said that the amount of disrespect for individuals has increased significantly in fandom. Part of it is the modern relationship to internet access and usage but a lot of you people are becoming way too comfortable being casually cruel to others within your own and separate spaces. I think we need to remember that fandom at its core is about community and connecting with others over a shared interest. You don’t have to agree with everything that is said especially if there are some figureheads in your spaces that are more outspoken but you can voice differing opinions without trivializing others, since most people use their own personal experiences to analyze media.
Like I know that the “go touch some grass” sentiment has kinda lost its impact, but I’m being so for real right now that some of you people need to take a break and go spend some time away from the internet and gain some perspective.

Is it just me or the fandom of animes/shows/movies are too damn toxic nowadays?
Like seriously GROW UP ALREADY, and for the love of God, GO ON with your life. If people don't like the canon/fanon ships or the characters you like, just ignore them or block them and enjoy the things you like instead of harassing or sending death threats to other people. If you do that and the other doesn't, you're only proving who's the real morally superior person here. (Hint: if you're the one harassing them, you're not the morally superior person)

Many people in the fandom suspect that Chloe has ASD
Tumblr media
It may sound crazy at first, but when we analyze Chloe's actions individually (including the way she cuddles with her teddy bear), it makes sense and what Thomas has done to her (And the Twitter fandom) makes it even worse than before, but she's white and rich, so ASD isn't an argument, right, ableists in the fandom?
Many people with ASD have trouble understanding what is morally acceptable (Which may explain her racism in certain episodes, but Thomas fucked it up, so yeah), and because of having the mother and father she has (Who is known to have been victim, isn't it, Thomas?), plus many things that "Defenders of Justice" do not consider violence, from the perspective of someone with ASD, that's what it is, and it's terrible
Yes, I am a person on the autism spectrum and the standards in the fandom piss me off, we are supposed to love Marinette because she is neurodivergent, but we are supposed to bash Chloe because she is neurodiverse
But if Thomas and the assholes on Twitter said something, it must be true, right?
Yes, people with ASD can do a lot of nasty things (Because when parents are nasty, like in this case, it's unfortunate, but for children with ASD it's an abstraction to understand a different perspective, Chloe needs help, not what the toxic fandom would like and this is terrifying because they want the suffering of a person with ASD for their own satisfaction)
Tumblr media
The fact that Chloe has ASD may explain her stubbornness, because people with ASD are often stubborn and when you tell them to do something, they don't always do it (Rebelliousness is in the blood)
However, people with ASD can be submissive, this can be seen when Chloe interacts with her mother, unfortunately, close people are more terrifying because you have some bond with them
So congratulations fandom for championing one neurodivergent character at the expense of another neurodiverse character, you don't look ableist at all, no, not at all
