How do you feel about lila rossi?

Hey anon, sorry this took a sec!

In all honesty, I don't care about her. She's a boring character with very little described motivation or real purpose beyond 'make Marinette angry/scared'. Her actions make little sense, every character around her is hit with the 'idiot ball' as soon as she opens her mouth because her lies fucking suck and everyone would know she was lying if they were normal, and I'm honestly just tired of her.

Also, her being Marinette's 'villain' makes little sense, because prior to that Marinette has zero focus on things like the Truth or hating lies. Girl is Ladybug - a big focus of her character is how she's forced to lie to everyone she cares about, and even lies and keeps secrets from her own partner because she's controlling and believes she can only do things by herself. It's literally a fucking character flaw. Honesty is not one of her main concerns lmao - she's a comically bad liar but she's not opposed to it unless Lila's involved. Like where did that come from?

I do think the Lila anon on ao3 is great though. They're hilarious. But Lila the character? I'm more annoyed with her than anything.

The Miraculous season finale pissed me off so much.

So Gabriel the abusive piece of trash gets his wish and is remembered as a martyr instead of being exposed for the abuser and terrorist he is?

Chloe has to go live with her abusive mother because she’s beyond redemption somehow despite the fact that she’s only 14 and the literal terrorist is somehow redeemable?

No one’s going to bother telling Adrien the truth about him being a sentimonster or what a horrible person his father was?

And Lila fucking Villain Sue Rossi is really going to be our next big bad?

And Felix gets to be part of Marinette’s team despite the fact that he helped a terrorist in the previous season, and was the reason LB lost all the Miraculous?

God, what a bunch of bullshit!

I don’t even know if I’m going to tune into season 6.

Don't think he was entirely bad in Season 2 either, but it's where "entitled wanker Adrien" first started popping up (in three episodes) and more heroes entering the fold began to make him seem more useless and not worth appearing to help Ladybug in absolutely every episode. And then he just got proper terrible from there...

But I have to say, you did this answer wrong if you did not include Andrei the ice cream man on here. I'd trade Lila out for him. Lila's forced, unbelievable crappy writing can at least be funny at times, whereas Andrei's only gets more and more insufferable each time!

Which is your most hated character in Miraculous Ladybug?

I'm sure you can guess why.

There was a lot of potential in this character! When I heard that she was gonna get a Miraculous, I was excited to see what would lead up to that! I was curious to see what the kick in the butt would be to get her on the path of redemption!

And I was sorely disappointed. Instead of getting better, she got worse and even more entitled, and it didn't help that she was enabled by Number Three...

...let me tell you something.

I was a Marichat shipper. I was. It was one of the first ships I published fanfic for. If you look on my Wattpad, you can find a lot of Marichat shit. I ate it up, and I was super excited when we learned that there would be a Balcony Scene. I got even more excited when I learned that the episode, Glaciator, came out on my birthday.

What did I get? I got disappointment and discomfort when Chat Noir threw a temper tantrum over Ladybug not showing up for a plan she didn't agree to. He used his friends, who expected him to be there, as an excuse to sneak out. He complains all the time about not having time for his friends, and then doesn't spend time with them.

Slowly, I started to notice more and more off-behavior from Adrien Agreste and slowly grew more and more angry with this show, from telling Marinette to stay quiet to publicly enjoying Ladybug being uncomfortable. He is the symbol of how out of touch the creator is with young girls. It got to the point where I announced that I was never writing fanfic again and was solely gonna focus on my original writing because I was so sick of writing salt and knew it was unhealthy.

I didn't keep that promise, but I still hate Adrien. I still hate Chat Noir. I haven't taken down my old Marichat fics because I feel like they're an important showcase of where I started from, but I can't bring myself to write anything involving Adrien in a romantic relationship with anyone.

I’m sorry, but I'm still not over this. There is very little tweaking that would need to be done to the Season 5 finale of Miraculous Ladybug to make it a series finale (and it very well could have been one!), and thus how would these major antagonists have concluded their runs?

Gabriel Agreste / Hawk Moth / Shadow Moth / Monarch: He basically wins; sucker-punching Marinette and at last obtaining the two Miraculouses he’d always been after, using them to rewrite reality so he can join his wife in death (since he was dying anyway so it isn’t a sacrifice). Adrien (who now only has memories of him as a good father and not an abusive bastard) and most of Paris is left oblivious to his crimes, and he even gets honored as a hero who sacrificed his life to defeat his own supervillainous alter-ego once and for all.

Nathalie Sancoeur / Mayura: Her fatal illness is removed and she gets to live a peaceful life alongside her new girlfriend Emilie Agreste. Her crimes against Paris also go undiscovered.

Tomoe Tsurugi: She’s now in charge of Gabriel’s business, and still an active member of a creepy secret eugenics cult dedicated to replacing humanity with perfected sentimonsters.

Felix Fathom / Argos: He keeps the Peacock Miraculous he obtained through a horrific betrayal that led to devastating consequences for all of Paris and now even has a girlfriend.

Lila Rossi / Iris Verdi / Cerise: Her being exposed as a liar and expelled from school ended up meaning jack shit since “Lila Rossi” is just one identity of this person who’s apparently always been an aspiring supervillain, complete with her own evil lair and special resources. And now she’s obtained the Butterfly Miraculous, so things can only continue to go her way.

Chloe Bourgeois: She earns the hatred of all of Paris which she is forced to leave behind, loses all her power and privileges, her father disowns her in favor of her half-sister, her friend and minion Sabrina turns on her, Adrien wants nothing more to do with her, Marinette wins a final victory over her on behalf of all the students she’s bullied over the years, and she’s trapped in the custody of her abusive mother who intends to take her abuse to a new level. 

OK, yeah, as I think we can all see: one of these things is not like the others!
