Idk what trans man needs to hear this but you're NOT evil or disgusting for being a man. You do NOT have to suffer for the sins of the patriarchy committed by cis dudes. Being a man doesn't invalidate the misogyny you experienced growing up or experience now. Being a man doesn't mean you deserve to be isolated. Being a man doesn't mean you're inherently predatory or scary. You didn't "choose" this, and finding your true self is NOT "betraying the community" because you happen to be a man and/or masculine rather than a woman and/or feminine. You ARE allowed to be upset when people "affirm" your gender by malgendering you.

You DO deserve a community that uplifts you. You DO deserve to experience trans joy. You DO deserve to have your voices heard and your struggles recognized. Wanting the bare minimum of solidarity is NOT "making everything about trans men".

Please reblog the kosa bill posts from me and others. This bill is EXTREMELY dangerous to the queer community and especially queer minors. As a queer and trans minor in a bad home situation, I and many others would be in so much danger if this bill is approved. Its actually so horrific. One of the senators who introduced it, Marsha Blackburn, said that "protecting minor children from the transgender in this culture" was a top priority. You know with most hunts there's clear design and intent in the monsters. You can really see how much thought and effort has been put into making a creature that feels as though it is designed for its specific ecological niche. Every one feels like they fully thought out how it would work biologically and how it would feel to fight. Like they all have a place somewhere as though they're real animals. But they really knocked it out of the park with the rajang by somehow capturing the exact feeling of being beaten to death by a large ape. That thing slams me into the ground so hard I'm flinching in real life. It's giving me kin memories from that kid harambe ripped apart. One of the few monsters that feels like it genuinely wants me dead so badly. A true 1 to 1 recreation of falling into a chimp enclosure at the zoo. I don't even think it's trying to protect itself it just likes causing suffering. And even if you get away? Even if you run? Beam Attack. It so desperately wants to hurt you they gave it a gun. It's like scrabbling to the other side of a gorilla enclosure and then watching it pull out a fully working rifle. What do you even do with that. I think if the rajang could speak it would ask to be let loose in a populated city. It wouldn't even hesitate.

I’m sure other people feel the same and have said similar things, but I think there's just a point in the Rizz™️ debate where we just need to acknowledge Edwin has it. Like people are doing mental gymnastics to be like “well he has some awkward traits so he can’t have Rizz™️ so it must be like negative Rizz™️ that just becomes positive” but I’m like… hello? Edwin Payne is a dark academia dream boat.

He knows dead languages. He dresses impeccably. He moves like a ballerina. He is insanely well read, he never stops learning. He’s clever (clever enough to escape hell). He has a high pain threshold and acts like that’s NOTHING. His sense of humor is cutting. Sure he has flaws, everyone has flaws. That’s being human (or like… a dead human). He was an incredibly fucking gorgeous, charming human being and then he died, tragically.

Why do I keep seeing transmascs and trans men insisting or implying that all trans men are "female socialized," or "understand the female experience," or "navigated the world as a woman." Because yeah, sure, that can be true for some people. especially if you weren't gnc at all as a kid and didn't crack your egg until well into adulthood, it makes sense.

But they don't stop at saying they had that experience. It always comes with an addendum that trans men, as a group, all can relate to this experience. I don't know about the entirety of my demographic, but I never got even a little bit of what some of them talk about. I didn't even believe that women were scared of going out at night until I kept consistently seeing them say it, online or wherever, for years. I never realized catcalling was a thing until I saw some women complaining about it on reddit.

But they posit it as some sort of, you're safer than cis men, right? You know what it's like? Which, on top of being patently, demonstrably false in the case of myself and many other trans men, holds some unpleasant and often outright hostile implications about trans women. And they always deny it, but if you can't even conceptualize someone like me who grew up gnc, and never got the bulk (or any?) of whatever we consider to be 'female socialization,' what does that say about what you think trans girls went through, growing up? I don't want to speak for them, as I've never experienced that firsthand, but I can guarantee that (if you're even a little bit obviously trans) people don't treat you like a cis kid of the opposite gender. By and large, they don't get treated like cis boys.

It just makes me mad that we're taking this inaccurate framework that (ever so conveniently) puts trans people into the box of our assumed birth gender, and trying to fancy it up and use it with a faux-progressive veneer; never mind the way that transphobes use it to bar trans women from being athletes, or using the bathroom, or having access to any gendered resources they need. It would be bad enough to try and dust it off and use it even if it were largely accurate, due to the aforementioned connections to outright transphobia, but it literally is patently false. Not in all cases, obviously, but why are we trying to revamp this untrue, inaccurate generalization and pretend that we can make it 'trans-inclusive?'
