Edible cookie dough recipe for regressors ☆´ˎ˗︶︶︶
gif credits
Who doesn't love cookies? Or, alternatively, who doesn't love scraping the bowl for leftover cookie dough? Because I love it, a lot, it makes me feel very small! That's why I started looking for edible cookie dough recipes, and after some tests and adaptations I made my very own recipe!
Basic Ingredients ☆´ˎ˗
for every 1 cup of all purpose flour, you'll need...
🥣: 1/2 cup of brown sugar
🍪: 1/2 cup of softened salted butter
🥣: 1/4 cup of milk
You can use granulated sugar instead of brown sugar for a more sugar cookie-like flavor
You can use edible flours (such as: almond flour, coconut flour) instead of all purpose flour and skip the heat treating step altogether
Instructions ☆´ˎ˗
🍪: Heat treating the flour: to make sure the flour is safe to eat raw you'll need to heat treat it. This can be done in three ways
With an oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Spread the flour on a tray, over baking paper, and bake it for 5-8 minutes
With a stove: spread the flour in a saucepan, turn the heat to low and stir it for ~2 minutes. Be careful to not burn the flour!
With a microwave: Microwave the flour for 30 seconds and stir the flour so the heat can be evenly distributed, and repeat the process 2-4 times. Remember to use a microwave-safe bowl!
🥣: Mix in the butter and sugar, and whisk them together until fluffy
🍪: Add the flour and the milk to the mixture and mix until homogeneous. The end result should have a soft and thick texture and hold itself together well.
Adding in flavor ☆´ˎ˗
Now, if the plain cookie dough isn't enough, here's some extra ingredients for specific flavors
🥣: 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract for a classic vanilla flavor
🍪: 2 tablespoons of peanut butter for a peanut butter flavor
🥣: 2 teaspoons of coffee powder for a coffee flavor
Adding the sprinkles ☆´ˎ˗
To finish off, a perfect cookie is usually adorned with sprinkles for added texture and colorfulness! This step is completely optional
🍪: Traditional chocolate chips
🥣: All kinds of confetti, hundreds & thousands, etc
🍪: M&Ms or skittles
🥣: Chopped chocolate
🍪: Chopped nuts
Enjoy! ☆´ˎ˗
🥣: This recipe serves around 6 portions and the measures can be cut or increased for less or more portions
🍪: This recipe can be stored in a fridge for around a week and can be added to ice creams and milkshakes
🥣: This recipe cannot be baked! It was made to be eaten raw

Hello! Do you mind sharing the edible cookie dough recipe you tried ? I've been trying to find it on IG but I trust you more than the 500 random videos I've seen.
yeah doesnt help that they implemented the new "ask meta ai!" shit instead of a proper search
this was the video that kept showing up in my feed in fb AND insta. I did see the original vid too but ignored it because fitness bullshit but I stumbled across enough of Liams videos to think hes pretty decent and transparent.
I did not follow that recipe because I hate almond flour and also peanut butter. I used oat flour instead and vanilla protein powder and nestle mini chocolate chips. I tried the m&ms and it was awful do not recommend tbh even if it WAS that our m&ms were Bad the acid in the yogurt melted the dye off the m&ms and made the mixture soooo gross looking (and if you can taste the dye like i can then its also a bad time!)
I also made a batch this morning without any sugar at all and found i dont need it so will be leaving it out in the future. Oh i had been using brown sugar which i think gave it more of that cookie dough flavor than maple syrup or honey would.
I don't pay too much attention to measurements, I go by consistency, but roughly I use
2 cups of old fashioned oats (i use bobs red mill gluten free oats)
2 scoops of vanilla milkshake protein powder (i honestly just grabbed the smallest container my grocer had, but recently bought the quest brand and will try that next time)
fage greek yogurt, plain, 5% fat (because fuller fat yogurt tastes better! fight me! I'm not doing this for ~healthy~ uwu im doing this for Please Get Protein In Your Body I Beg), this is where I eyeball it. I add more yogurt if it's too thick, a large spoonful at a time.
I put the oats and protein in a food processor, and then add the yogurt, but if you use preground alt flour you can jhst use a bowl. I recommend adding everything a little at a time into whatever is thickest (so if you use peanut butter, add yogurt to that, and then the flour and protein).
Also a friend tried this with regular flour and a non whey based protein and a non dairy yogurt and was. Non enthused. I'm sure if you play around with the flavors YOU like you can find something but I don't think this can be made dairy free tbh but I also tried every DF yogurt I could find and they were all disgusting. So. (also ifnyou use regular flour pls bake it first. but tbh i dont really recommend it bc raw wheat flour just. doesnt add the same flavor oat or nut flours do.)
I'm also curious about using chocolate protein powder and nutella I think that'd taste gr8. Outside if the absurd cost of protein powder, this really is a good base recipe to use if you wanna try messing around with recipes you find online. People may give me flack for drastically changing this recipe but pls I based it off my moms oatmeal cookies all it was missing was coconut flakes lol
#bookbird babbles#ezra gets a letter#food#SORRY I RAMBLED#ive for real eaten this nearly every day since i found it#i just make a large batch and eat a spoonful after dinner#sometimes for breakfast#its a great way to eat yogurt because it doesnt taste like yogurt! especially after its been sitting in the firdge overnight!!!!#and i realy do feel better eating yogurt in a way just taking probiotics doesnt do#i should look for different mini chocolate chips but nestle is always the cheapest and most palatable at the store :/

Eating my overnight oats rn and they’re so good so here is my recipe go forth and eat oats like a horse
The first step is to have fun and be yourself. The second step is to ignore everything I say and do whatever you want cause there are no rules <3
The overnight part:
⅓ cup oats
⅓ cup milk (I buy a different kind of milk / nut milk every time I’m at the store cause I’m not a milk drinker and don’t know what’s best but rn I have an almond/coconut mix and it’s really good)
⅓ cup plain Greek yogurt (if no yogurt or you don’t like it have a second ⅓ cup of milk)
1 large spoonful of jam
1 spoonful of peanut butter
Optional: 1 spoonful of seeds (I have sesame rn but other good ones are chia, sunflower, etc.)
Optional: a bit of honey or sugar if your prev ingredients aren’t that sweet
Optional: extra fruit and berries
^ mix the above and let it sit overnight. I find it lasts about 4 days, I make 3 servings Sunday night and try to eat them by Wednesday, then make more Wednesday night.
When you eat it top with:
A few spoonfuls of granola and nuts of choice
Extra fresh or frozen fruit
It’s fun to add more toppings right before you eat it so they aren’t soggy and they get a different texture, but you can always add them with the other stuff
Generally keep the rule of 1 part oats to 2 parts milk/liquid/yogurt. Most recipes online use ½ cups instead of ⅓ but I found that was more than I needed.
If you want to customize it, the best way I’ve found is changing up the peanut butter, the second ⅓ cup of milk/yogurt, and the fruit/jam. The absolute best version of the above I made was using ⅓ cup homemade applesauce, extra cinnamon/nutmeg, and cookie butter instead of peanut butter 😳 it is so good it was like eating a milkshake for breakfast lol
If you make overnight oats PLEASE TELL ME YOUR FAVORITE TOPPINGS AND ADD INS ✨
#the few months I’ve been like a scientist in the kitchen trying different amounts of things and finding what works for me#I have a few more flavors I want to try but haven’t had the opportunity#I wanna do eggnog overnight oats with cranberries but need to use up my current milk#the other I really wanna do is making them with milk tea and adding boba on top instead of fruit#it’s like that brussel sprout image. people who want the overnight oats to be healthy VS me who wants them to fuck like hell#fun talk tag#recipe

Madam is so overexposed I know more about her cooking/dietary habits than I could ever want to by u/Training-Jello7600
Madam is so overexposed I know more about her cooking/dietary habits than I could ever want to Wannabe foodie Meghan is my favorite of all her eras. It was right before Harry; she was desperately looking for her third (fourth? fifth?) act and sleeping her way into the Toronto food scene and writing some of the most godawful prose ever committed to page on that blog. I enjoy seeing someone so basic and cringe attempt to pivot from a lackluster acting career into an even more lackluster career as a foodie guru influencer.(As a side note, it’s telling and ironic that the most successful and uplifting content of her life was the “Together” cookbook, made when she was a working royal. Looks like the Palace knows what they are doing after all!)In honor of foodie Meghan, and in anticipation of whatever she’s about to unleash on us on her Instagram if it ever does indeed launch, I’ve compiled a perfect day of eating for the Meg.Breakfast:- For madam: After barking at her maids to clean up the broken crockery from the night before, she tucks into “A cup of hot water and a slice of lemon, followed by her favourite breakfast of steel-cut oats (usually made with almond or soy milk) with bananas and agave syrup for sweetness” (a line from the Pulitzer-winning “Finding Freedom”)For the three children (Todger Cream included): First a serving of inspirational bananas with messages such as “stay strong” (they’re gonna need it in that household!) on the peel. Then organic waffles on the Queen’s waffle maker. It’s shocking we don’t know the brand and that it hasn’t been merched yet, but there’s always time.Lunch:- A “mean bolognese” (Megain’s words), most likely Chef Corey’s recipe but repurposed for ensnaring Harry, who was impressed with her apparently amazing use of spicesFor the kids: In-N-Out milkshakes because she’s a cool relatable young mother of littlesSnack:- For the kids: Quesadillas served in a poverty backpack for the unhousedFor the man child: Vegetables from the garden and try-hard jam with Etsy labels that they haven’t been able to foist onto more unfortunate journos For Madam: A Clevr SuperLatte with a foam of trace lead and other earth metalsDinner:- Sushi appetizer for her while Harry sulks that there isn’t a steak option. He whines so much that she whips up her signature invisi-tacos a la Michelle Obama and puts Nando’s Peri-Peri sauce on them to remind him of the time she ate a three course meal while also on an epidural/bouncing on an exercise ball at the same timeAn engagement roast chicken for the main; Ina still hasn’t called but she’s holding out hope for a collabSome plant-based/pretentious sides with the latest pseudoscientific healthy merchable ingredients That f*cking lemon olive oil cake made with lemons from her trees (that if I hear about one more time I’m going to explode)Several bottles of Tignanello, our Saint’s ambrosia of enlightenment Late Night Snack:- Ozempic a la modeThere you have it! When we conceived Goldie Falafel, instead of thinking of falafel as an ethnic specialty, we wanted to present it as a vegan alternative to saturated-fat-laden hamburgers, but still wrapped in the flag of the great American fast-food joint. Falafel and French fries — which are often stuffed into pita along with the falafel — were the easy part, since both are naturally vegan and fundamentally delicious.
But what about the milkshakes? How would we replace the sweet, rich and creamy milkfat with something equally decadent, satisfying — and dairy-free? Fortunately, when the fast-food gods close a door, they open a window.
We’ve said it before: There are very few culinary problems that tahini can’t solve. It’s mostly fat, it’s vegan and it has a delicious (if forward) flavor that is great in sweet application. Mixed with sugar and a combination of soy and almond or coconut milks and run through an expensive milkshake machine, it yields something that could be (and often is) mistaken for a milkshake. From the opening day of Goldie on April 1, 2017, tahini shakes were a runaway hit, perhaps surpassing the falafel itself in popularity.
No milkshake machine? No problem. Caitlin McMillan, our partner and the chef who developed all of Goldie’s recipes, including the tahini shakes, has adapted our process for ice cube trays and a blender.
Note: The Turkish coffee syrup will keep, refrigerated, for up to 1 month.

ICECREAMHAVEN
The Origins of Ice Cream
The history of ice cream is fascinating and spans across various cultures. The origins of ice cream can be traced back to ancient China, where a mixture of rice and milk was frozen using snow around 200 BC. Later, the Roman Emperor Nero would have snow brought down from the mountains to mix with honey and fruit, creating a version of the frozen treat. Ice cream as we know it today began to evolve in the 17th century when frozen custards and milk-based desserts became popular among European aristocracy.
In the 18th century, ice cream recipes began to appear in cookbooks, and soon after, ice cream parlors opened, first in France and then across Europe and America. By the 19th century, the industrial revolution made ice cream production easier, allowing it to become more widely available. Today, ice cream is enjoyed in various forms—whether in cones, cups, sundaes, or shakes—and is a staple of summertime indulgence.
Flavors and Varieties
Ice cream’s popularity is in part due to its vast range of flavors and forms. Classic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry remain timeless, but modern innovations have expanded the flavor spectrum. Exotic flavors such as matcha, lavender, and even savory options like salted caramel and bacon have found their way into ice cream parlors around the world. Dairy-free and vegan options, often made with almond, coconut, or oat milk, have also gained popularity, catering to dietary preferences and restrictions.
In addition to traditional scoops, there are various forms of ice cream that have evolved over the years. Gelato, known for its dense texture and intense flavors, hails from Italy and is made with more milk and less cream than typical ice cream. Frozen yogurt and soft serve are lighter alternatives, while sorbet, made from fruit puree and sugar, offers a dairy-free option that’s equally refreshing.
Ice Cream Haven: A Sweet Escape
One place that captures the essence of the frozen treat is Ice Cream Haven, a paradise for ice cream lovers. Known for its artisanal approach and creative flavors, Ice Cream Haven stands out for offering an experience as delightful as its desserts. Located in a bustling part of town, the shop invites visitors into a colorful, whimsical space where the smell of freshly made waffle cones fills the air.
What sets Ice Cream Haven apart is its dedication to crafting small-batch, hand-churned ice creams using only the finest ingredients. Whether it’s local dairy or organic fruits, every scoop is a product of careful selection. Seasonal flavors such as pumpkin spice in the fall or strawberry basil in the summer keep customers returning, eager to taste what’s new.
Beyond traditional scoops, Ice Cream Haven also offers indulgent creations like ice cream sandwiches made with freshly baked cookies, sundaes piled high with house-made toppings, and milkshakes that can be customized with endless mix-ins. Their vegan and dairy-free options, crafted from coconut or cashew bases, ensure that everyone, regardless of dietary preference, can find something to enjoy.
Ice Cream Haven isn't just a place to grab dessert—it's a destination, perfect for a quick treat or a leisurely hangout. Whether you’re a purist who sticks to classic flavors or an adventurous eater eager to try something new, Ice Cream Haven promises a delightful experience with every bite.
Conclusion
Ice cream has evolved from a luxurious treat reserved for the elite to a universally beloved dessert. With places like Ice Cream Haven keeping the tradition alive and pushing creative boundaries, it's no wonder that ice cream continues to be a source of joy and indulgence for millions around the world.

Best Toffee Pairings to Consider
Toffee, a chewy confection made from sugar and butter, is available in various regional forms, such as buttercrunch (or English toffee), Scottish tablet, Indian jaggery toffee, and American peanut brittle. Beyond its sweetness, toffee can elevate mood, offer comfort, and encourage social interaction. Whether enjoyed on its own or with other foods, various toffee pairings provide a range of flavors.
One popular pairing is with crisp apples. Incorporating chopped toffee into an apple pie filling adds a delightful crunch and tang, making it a perfect after-dinner dessert or afternoon treat. You can also consider toffee brownies. Mix chips/chopped toffee bits into a rich brownie batter for a treat that complements the chocolate's sweetness.
Toffee-chocolate pairings, including dark ones with salted almonds, classic milk chocolate, classic dark chocolate, and white chocolate, are also great. For example, crumbling white chocolate and macadamia toffee into scones or cookies enhances the flavor. Alternatively, you can sprinkle warm white chocolate, cranberry, and pistachio toffee on cheeses like goat or brie. Dark chocolate makes toffee even more delicious, especially when combined with crunchy nuts and a bit of salt.
An unusual but delicious toffee pairing is with sweet potatoes, especially in desserts and baked goods. Adding toffee to sweet potato pie filling, mixing it into mashed sweet potatoes for cookies, or sprinkling it on sweet potato cubes in a bread pudding recipe can enhance estate. Mango is another unexpected match for toffee, whether in a mango toffee tart, candy, or cheesecake pudding.
Toffee also complements various ice cream flavors—e.g., chocolate and vanilla—adding sweetness upon sprinkling on top or mixing it into the ice cream. Additionally, melting the toffee and pouring it over the ice cream creates а smooth, sweet topping.
For beverages, coffee is an excellent match for toffee; the bitter, earthy coffee notes balance the sweet, caramel-like flavor of toffee. For a more blended taste experience, you can dip toffee into coffee. Other coffee-based products, such as coffee cakes, milkshakes, and desserts, also go well with toffee.
Certain beer styles also pair wonderfully with toffee, such as malty brews that offer a rounded, mellow flavor to complement toffee's caramel sweetness. Porters are another great match; their roasted cocoa and coffee notes enhance the chocolate and toffee in brownies. For a different mix, try British pale ales with chocolate-covered sea salt caramels for a nice balance of roasted and sweet flavors.
Even more popular are wine pairings with toffee. Port wine and dark chocolate toffee are a good pair. The port brings plum, spice, and cherry flavors, complementing the bitterness of the dark chocolate and toffee's creaminess. For a bolder option, California Cabernet Sauvignon's ripe berry flavors and tannins accentuate the toffee taste. If seeking something more complex, wines with high tannins can enhance the flavors of dark chocolate toffee. Pinot Noir and sherry are also excellent choices. Pinot noir's notes combine nicely with the sweetness of toffee, while sherry, available in dry and sweet varieties, allows for versatile pairings with either sweet or unsweetened toffee.
When crafting these pairings, consider the complex interactions between flavor compounds to create а harmonious blend. Contrasting flavors, such as salty and sweet, can offer a balanced taste, while others complementing each other can blend nicely. Ingredients that share similar aromas can also create good combinations. Other vital considerations include temperature, texture, and acidity, which can greatly influence the taste experience by altering flavor perception and contributing to the smoothness, crunchiness, and overall intensity.
