Edible cookie dough recipe for regressors ☆´ˎ˗︶︶︶
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
gif credits
Who doesn't love cookies? Or, alternatively, who doesn't love scraping the bowl for leftover cookie dough? Because I love it, a lot, it makes me feel very small! That's why I started looking for edible cookie dough recipes, and after some tests and adaptations I made my very own recipe!
Basic Ingredients ☆´ˎ˗
for every 1 cup of all purpose flour, you'll need...
🥣: 1/2 cup of brown sugar
🍪: 1/2 cup of softened salted butter
🥣: 1/4 cup of milk
You can use granulated sugar instead of brown sugar for a more sugar cookie-like flavor
You can use edible flours (such as: almond flour, coconut flour) instead of all purpose flour and skip the heat treating step altogether
Instructions ☆´ˎ˗
🍪: Heat treating the flour: to make sure the flour is safe to eat raw you'll need to heat treat it. This can be done in three ways
With an oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Spread the flour on a tray, over baking paper, and bake it for 5-8 minutes
With a stove: spread the flour in a saucepan, turn the heat to low and stir it for ~2 minutes. Be careful to not burn the flour!
With a microwave: Microwave the flour for 30 seconds and stir the flour so the heat can be evenly distributed, and repeat the process 2-4 times. Remember to use a microwave-safe bowl!
🥣: Mix in the butter and sugar, and whisk them together until fluffy
🍪: Add the flour and the milk to the mixture and mix until homogeneous. The end result should have a soft and thick texture and hold itself together well.
Adding in flavor ☆´ˎ˗
Now, if the plain cookie dough isn't enough, here's some extra ingredients for specific flavors
🥣: 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract for a classic vanilla flavor
🍪: 2 tablespoons of peanut butter for a peanut butter flavor
🥣: 2 teaspoons of coffee powder for a coffee flavor
Adding the sprinkles ☆´ˎ˗
To finish off, a perfect cookie is usually adorned with sprinkles for added texture and colorfulness! This step is completely optional
🍪: Traditional chocolate chips
🥣: All kinds of confetti, hundreds & thousands, etc
🍪: M&Ms or skittles
🥣: Chopped chocolate
🍪: Chopped nuts
Enjoy! ☆´ˎ˗
🥣: This recipe serves around 6 portions and the measures can be cut or increased for less or more portions
🍪: This recipe can be stored in a fridge for around a week and can be added to ice creams and milkshakes
🥣: This recipe cannot be baked! It was made to be eaten raw

Madam is so overexposed I know more about her cooking/dietary habits than I could ever want to by u/Training-Jello7600
Madam is so overexposed I know more about her cooking/dietary habits than I could ever want to Wannabe foodie Meghan is my favorite of all her eras. It was right before Harry; she was desperately looking for her third (fourth? fifth?) act and sleeping her way into the Toronto food scene and writing some of the most godawful prose ever committed to page on that blog. I enjoy seeing someone so basic and cringe attempt to pivot from a lackluster acting career into an even more lackluster career as a foodie guru influencer.(As a side note, it’s telling and ironic that the most successful and uplifting content of her life was the “Together” cookbook, made when she was a working royal. Looks like the Palace knows what they are doing after all!)In honor of foodie Meghan, and in anticipation of whatever she’s about to unleash on us on her Instagram if it ever does indeed launch, I’ve compiled a perfect day of eating for the Meg.Breakfast:- For madam: After barking at her maids to clean up the broken crockery from the night before, she tucks into “A cup of hot water and a slice of lemon, followed by her favourite breakfast of steel-cut oats (usually made with almond or soy milk) with bananas and agave syrup for sweetness” (a line from the Pulitzer-winning “Finding Freedom”)For the three children (Todger Cream included): First a serving of inspirational bananas with messages such as “stay strong” (they’re gonna need it in that household!) on the peel. Then organic waffles on the Queen’s waffle maker. It’s shocking we don’t know the brand and that it hasn’t been merched yet, but there’s always time.Lunch:- A “mean bolognese” (Megain’s words), most likely Chef Corey’s recipe but repurposed for ensnaring Harry, who was impressed with her apparently amazing use of spicesFor the kids: In-N-Out milkshakes because she’s a cool relatable young mother of littlesSnack:- For the kids: Quesadillas served in a poverty backpack for the unhousedFor the man child: Vegetables from the garden and try-hard jam with Etsy labels that they haven’t been able to foist onto more unfortunate journos For Madam: A Clevr SuperLatte with a foam of trace lead and other earth metalsDinner:- Sushi appetizer for her while Harry sulks that there isn’t a steak option. He whines so much that she whips up her signature invisi-tacos a la Michelle Obama and puts Nando’s Peri-Peri sauce on them to remind him of the time she ate a three course meal while also on an epidural/bouncing on an exercise ball at the same timeAn engagement roast chicken for the main; Ina still hasn’t called but she’s holding out hope for a collabSome plant-based/pretentious sides with the latest pseudoscientific healthy merchable ingredients That f*cking lemon olive oil cake made with lemons from her trees (that if I hear about one more time I’m going to explode)Several bottles of Tignanello, our Saint’s ambrosia of enlightenment Late Night Snack:- Ozempic a la modeThere you have it! Let me know if I missed any of our Saint’s favorites. post link: https://ift.tt/mFKz8Ms author: Training-Jello7600 submitted: January 12, 2024 at 09:24PM via SaintMeghanMarkle on Reddit

When we conceived Goldie Falafel, instead of thinking of falafel as an ethnic specialty, we wanted to present it as a vegan alternative to saturated-fat-laden hamburgers, but still wrapped in the flag of the great American fast-food joint. Falafel and French fries — which are often stuffed into pita along with the falafel — were the easy part, since both are naturally vegan and fundamentally delicious.
But what about the milkshakes? How would we replace the sweet, rich and creamy milkfat with something equally decadent, satisfying — and dairy-free? Fortunately, when the fast-food gods close a door, they open a window.
We’ve said it before: There are very few culinary problems that tahini can’t solve. It’s mostly fat, it’s vegan and it has a delicious (if forward) flavor that is great in sweet application. Mixed with sugar and a combination of soy and almond or coconut milks and run through an expensive milkshake machine, it yields something that could be (and often is) mistaken for a milkshake. From the opening day of Goldie on April 1, 2017, tahini shakes were a runaway hit, perhaps surpassing the falafel itself in popularity.
No milkshake machine? No problem. Caitlin McMillan, our partner and the chef who developed all of Goldie’s recipes, including the tahini shakes, has adapted our process for ice cube trays and a blender.
Note: The Turkish coffee syrup will keep, refrigerated, for up to 1 month.

Chill Out with These Refreshing Cold Coffee Recipes
Tumblr media
Did you know that cold coffee consumption has increased by over 60% in the past five years? Whether it’s a hot summer day or you just prefer a chilled caffeine boost, cold coffee is the perfect way to stay refreshed while enjoying your favorite beverage. But instead of buying expensive café drinks, why not make them yourself? With simple ingredients and easy steps, you can whip up delicious cold coffee right at home. Ready to explore? Let’s dive in!
The Basics: What Makes Cold Coffee Different?
Cold coffee isn’t just hot coffee poured over ice—it’s a carefully crafted drink that balances flavors, texture, and temperature. The three most popular methods include:
Cold Brew – Slow steeped coffee, known for its smooth, less acidic taste.
Iced Coffee – Regular brewed coffee chilled and served over ice.
Blended Coffee (Frappé-Style) – A creamy, milkshake-like coffee drink made with ice and milk.
1. Classic Iced Coffee
Why You’ll Love It: Simple, quick, and tastes just like your favorite coffee shop version.
Ingredients:
1 cup brewed coffee (cooled)
Ice cubes
2 tbsp milk or cream
1-2 tsp sugar or sweetener
Optional: Flavored syrups (vanilla, caramel, etc.)
How to Make It:
Brew your coffee and let it cool.
Fill a glass with ice cubes.
Pour the cooled coffee over the ice.
Add milk and sweetener to taste.
Stir well and enjoy!
Pro Tip: Use coffee ice cubes instead of regular ice to prevent dilution.
2. Creamy Caramel Frappé
Why You’ll Love It: A rich, café-style drink blended to perfection.
Ingredients:

The Origins of Ice Cream
The history of ice cream is fascinating and spans across various cultures. The origins of ice cream can be traced back to ancient China, where a mixture of rice and milk was frozen using snow around 200 BC. Later, the Roman Emperor Nero would have snow brought down from the mountains to mix with honey and fruit, creating a version of the frozen treat. Ice cream as we know it today began to evolve in the 17th century when frozen custards and milk-based desserts became popular among European aristocracy.
In the 18th century, ice cream recipes began to appear in cookbooks, and soon after, ice cream parlors opened, first in France and then across Europe and America. By the 19th century, the industrial revolution made ice cream production easier, allowing it to become more widely available. Today, ice cream is enjoyed in various forms—whether in cones, cups, sundaes, or shakes—and is a staple of summertime indulgence.
Flavors and Varieties
Ice cream’s popularity is in part due to its vast range of flavors and forms. Classic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry remain timeless, but modern innovations have expanded the flavor spectrum. Exotic flavors such as matcha, lavender, and even savory options like salted caramel and bacon have found their way into ice cream parlors around the world. Dairy-free and vegan options, often made with almond, coconut, or oat milk, have also gained popularity, catering to dietary preferences and restrictions.
In addition to traditional scoops, there are various forms of ice cream that have evolved over the years. Gelato, known for its dense texture and intense flavors, hails from Italy and is made with more milk and less cream than typical ice cream. Frozen yogurt and soft serve are lighter alternatives, while sorbet, made from fruit puree and sugar, offers a dairy-free option that’s equally refreshing.
