Edible cookie dough recipe for regressors ☆´ˎ˗︶︶︶

Who doesn't love cookies? Or, alternatively, who doesn't love scraping the bowl for leftover cookie dough? Because I love it, a lot, it makes me feel very small! That's why I started looking for edible cookie dough recipes, and after some tests and adaptations I made my very own recipe!
Basic Ingredients ☆´ˎ˗
for every 1 cup of all purpose flour, you'll need...
🥣: 1/2 cup of brown sugar
🍪: 1/2 cup of softened salted butter
🥣: 1/4 cup of milk
You can use granulated sugar instead of brown sugar for a more sugar cookie-like flavor
You can use edible flours (such as: almond flour, coconut flour) instead of all purpose flour and skip the heat treating step altogether
Instructions ☆´ˎ˗
🍪: Heat treating the flour: to make sure the flour is safe to eat raw you'll need to heat treat it. This can be done in three ways
With an oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Spread the flour on a tray, over baking paper, and bake it for 5-8 minutes
With a stove: spread the flour in a saucepan, turn the heat to low and stir it for ~2 minutes. Be careful to not burn the flour!
With a microwave: Microwave the flour for 30 seconds and stir the flour so the heat can be evenly distributed, and repeat the process 2-4 times. Remember to use a microwave-safe bowl!
🥣: Mix in the butter and sugar, and whisk them together until fluffy
🍪: Add the flour and the milk to the mixture and mix until homogeneous. The end result should have a soft and thick texture and hold itself together well.
Adding in flavor ☆´ˎ˗
Now, if the plain cookie dough isn't enough, here's some extra ingredients for specific flavors
🥣: 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract for a classic vanilla flavor
🍪: 2 tablespoons of peanut butter for a peanut butter flavor
🥣: 2 teaspoons of coffee powder for a coffee flavor
Adding the sprinkles ☆´ˎ˗
To finish off, a perfect cookie is usually adorned with sprinkles for added texture and colorfulness! This step is completely optional
🍪: Traditional chocolate chips
🥣: All kinds of confetti, hundreds & thousands, etc
🍪: M&Ms or skittles
🥣: Chopped chocolate
🍪: Chopped nuts

🥣: This recipe serves around 6 portions and the measures can be cut or increased for less or more portions
🍪: This recipe can be stored in a fridge for around a week and can be added to ice creams and milkshakes
🥣: This recipe cannot be baked! It was made to be eaten raw

5 of my favorite drink recipes for regressors ☆´ˎ˗ ︶︶︶

As someone who generally prefers non-solid food, I often find myself making drinks for my regressed self because they bring me a very unique kind of comfort.
So here's a small (likely the first of many) compilation of recipes that I usually make for myself when regressed!
🍓 Yogurt Smoothie🍓
This one is the simplest of them all, and one I make pretty often! Though I don't think I'm the only one who does this, I came up with the recipe myself!
Ingredients: 100g or 3,5oz of a yogurt of your choice; 2/3s of a cup of milk Method: Blend them together until it's all creamy and foamy Servings: 1 cup
🍎 Apple and Banana Smoothie 🍎
My mom used to make this for me when I was a kid! Has a porridge-like texture.
Ingredients: 2 slices of apple; 2 slices of banana; a cup of milk; a tablespoon of oatmeal; a teaspoon of sugar Method: Blend it all together and serve! Servings: around 1 1/2 cups
🍋 Swiss Lemonade 🍋
Funnily enough, the "swiss lemonade" is neither swiss nor a lemonade. I'm unsure if anyone here is familiar with this one, but for me it's the best creamy drink for a sunny afternoon
Ingredients: 2 whole limes, 600ml or 20oz of cold water, a can (395ml or 13,5oz) of condensed milk Method: cut the limes in 8 pieces, without removing the peel, blend all ingredients for less than 10 seconds (blending for too long might make the drink bitter!). Strain through a fine strainer to remove rinds and serve. Servings: around 3 cups
🍼 Burnt Milk 🍼
Another one my mom used to make for me before bed, she says it's good for sore throats. Has a unique burnt/caramelized taste.
Ingredients: 1 cup of milk; 2 teaspoons of sugar; a pinch of cinnamon (or a cinnamon stick) Method: Pour the sugar on a small saucepan, cook and stir on medium. Right when the sugar starts caramelizing (burning) add the milk and stir in. Serve and sprinkle the cinnamon on your drink! Cinnamon is also good for sore throats Servings: 1 cup
🍫 Hot Chocolate 🍫
Classic? Mayhaps. But this recipe has a little special ingredient that gives it a thicker texture
Ingredients: 1 cup of milk; 3-4 tablespoons of cocoa mix powder; 2 tablespoons of corn starch (the more you add the thicker the drink's texture); a pinch of cinnamon Method: pour the milk, cocoa and corn starch on a small saucepan, cook and stir on medium until hot. Serve and sprinkle the cinnamon Servings: 1 cup

Sick and regressed ☆´ˎ˗ ︶︶︶

Well, while I'm writting this I'm bedridden (likely with covid), and for some reason I really want to spend my sick days regressed and take something good out of it at least.
Getting comfy!
🧦: Pajamas time! Is there anything more regressor-coded than cozy printed pajamas, an animal kigurumi or onesie? I'd say no. And since I'm staying on bed, I'm surely wearing those all day long.
🛏️: Bed setup! When you're bedridden, a bed table ends up being really useful in case you want to do stuff that requires a flat surface. If you have one of those, lucky you! I, however had to improvise with a smooth wooden board standing on my lap, therefore any kind of long, resilient and flat surface can do the job just fine.
🧦: Blanket fort! Alternatively, if you're able to roam around your house or have someone to help, you can build a blanket fort over your bed or a comfy surface to stay in!
🛏️: Sick gear! Runny nose? Bring tissues. Got a fever? Make a cold damp towel for your forehead. Tummy aches or localized pain? Make a hot water compress. And make sure to keep track of the meds you're taking, of course.
🧦: Get your plushies! Since what I got is very contagious close contact with anyone is out of the table, but my stuffies are completely immune to sickness and ready to cuddle! (I'll have to wash them afterwards to disinfect them though)
Games and activities!
🎮: Viddy games! Either on computer, phone or a console (handheld preferred), videogames are perfectly stationary and don't require much movement from your part.
🖍️: Table games! Table games are also stationary and can be played right from your bed if you have a bed table, although most games need other people to play with you, your plushies can serve this purpose.
🎮: Play pretend! Playing pretend can be limited when you're bedridden, but there are some scenarios you're perfectly able to do! Such as pretending you're a shop owner and your stuffies are the clients, pretending your stuffies are your doctors/nurses taking care of you, or vice versa. Things like tea parties and pretend schools are still on the table!
🖍️: Arts and crafts! Being sick won't stop me from wanting to draw and color, since I can do it from my bed anyways! Aside from drawing and coloring, I might as well do some collage and paper craft, just might need help to clean up afterwards.
🎮: Cartoon time! No better opportunity to (re)watch your favorite cartoons than when you're sick, bedridden and bored, right? And since this brings me comfort, here are some cartoon episodes that center on being sick: Bumpy and the Wise Old Wolfhound (Bluey), Steve Gets The Sniffles (Blues Clues), Bear Flu (We Bare Bears), Doctor Daisy M.D (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), Arthur's Chicken Pox (Arthur)
Snack time!
🍼: Hot drinks! Specially if you're with a cold or a sore throat in general, hot drinks such as hot cocoa and tea are perfect for warming up an icky throat.
🧁: Spices for a sore throat! Like mint, honey, ginger and lemon. I'm sure there's plentiful of drinks you can make using these!
🍼: Give preference to healthy snacks and meals! Like fruits and veggies, yogurt, noodles, soup or sandwiches. Bonus points if they're arranged in a fun shape (animal, plant, star, etc)!
🧁: Keep your appetite in check! It's pretty common to lose your appetite when sick, therefore I'd say it's ideal to keep your meals smaller (and sometimes eat more often) than usual.
Taking care of yourself!
🧸: Stay hydrated! Water is always good, and if you're sick you likely need it more than usual, drinking from sippy cups, baby bottles, straw cups or any kind of fun themed cup is usually more fun and encouraging than boring adult cups.
🧶: Keep your temperature in check as well! Besides from checking if you have a fever ever so often, it's also good to keep yourself warm with blankets and heating if your body feels cold, or alternatively, turning on fans and using lighter sheets instead of blankets if you're too hot.
🧸: Beware the germs! If you got a contagious disease (like me), make sure to properly wash and disinfect anything you bring to your mouth such as pacis, teethers, bottles and cutlery before and after using them. Plus, it's important to wear a mask or ask others to wear a mask when near you as well.
🧶: Resting is key! Some of these days I'm too tired to do anything above, and I'd rather just nap the whole day, and that's okay! Sometimes being sick means not being able to do anything at all and it's important to have your extended napping time to get better.

Beach! Beach! Beach! I'm going to the beach!!! ☆´ˎ˗ ︶︶︶

And since I really want to regress during this trip, I might as well share some fun regression beach activities I'm planning to do! ★´ˎ˗
🏖️: Sand clastles and sculptures! I'm gonna make all kinds of animal sculptures in the sand. Alternatively, sand castles can pretty much become "sand cakes" in a play pretend bakery;;
🪸: Sand art! For this one can I simply draw in the sand with my hands or a stick, or I can seek all kinds of pebbles and seashells to make something more complex;;
🌊: Other sand related games! Since I can draw pretty much anything in the sand, I can play things like hopscotch, skee ball, tic-tac-toe, or make dissapearing messages;;
🦀: Scavenger hunt! First I'll need to make a list of things to find, they can be anything, from objects to animals! I'm personally going to make a bird themed scavenge hunt because I love love love birdwatching!;;
🐚: Play pretend! I might pretend that I'm a merfolk who got their legs, but only for a day! I can be a pirate looking for a good place to hide their treasure, or mayhaps a paleontologist digging arround, trying to find rare shells and bones. I can set up a little pretend museum or store to showcase shells and pebbles;;
☀️: Sundials! A sundial is a type of clock based off the sun's position! You can make one by putting a stick standing straight up in the sand, and draw a circle around it. The shadow cast by the stick will show the passage of the time as it slowly moves!;;
🥥: Ball games! Like dodgeball, blanket bounce with a beach towel, volleyball, football;;
🌴: Dig up a little lake! This one is perfect for those who love getting their hands dirty. Just dig up a hole, fill it with water and ta-da: you got your own lake!;;
🪼: Learn! For the nerdy regressors (like myself), I just love to research about the denizens of the sea, and be respecful to them. After all, sea animals are our friends too!;;
🌺: More nerdy things! Look for animal tracks, draw or write information about said animals, catch and release little sea critters that are safe to handle, photograph them, appreciate them!;;
🤿: Jump the waves! This is a simple one but I just love love love to jump over the waves qwq otherwise I might just run away from them;;

Activities for a fem aligning* caregiver ☆´ˎ˗ ︶︶︶

(*First things first, I'm not a fan of pointlessly gendering things, so of course anyone can do these regadless of gender or gender expression)
I'm making this post mainly because I feel like there's a lack of fem leaning caregiver content, and since my partner is very girly, I believe reassuring her gender expression through caregiving would be encouraging for her!
Plus, it's fitting for a mother's day post! Happy late mother's day for all mamas and fem caregivers!

🍨: Bake with them! My partner loves baking and I've been wanting to get us into cake decorating since colorful pastries make my regressed self excited!
🌷: Give them flowers! Flowers are often gifted to femmes, aside from being regarded as a symbol of tenderness and beauty. You can also make flower arrangments for them or put flowers on their hair.
💝: Pamper them with fem nicknames! If they enjoy being referred to with fem language they'll likely be happy to be called mom, Mamma/mommy, sis/sister, aunt/auntie, miss, madam/ma'am or lady.
🌈: Play dolls with them! Aside from it's sheer versatiliy in typing (fashion dolls, baby dolls, paper dolls, action dolls) dolls are suitable for several play pretend scenarios, and they're more fun to play with someone else.
💄: Give them a makeover! Paint their nails, do their makeup and hair, choose their outfit and let them enjoy their new look!
🍬: Have a spa day! Be it with skincare, haircare, bubble baths or manicure/pedicure, a home spa day is a good way to practice self care and bond with your caregiver.
🌺: Make accessories for them! From bracelets to necklaces and hair accessories, those can be made with a wide range of materials (beads, fabric, paper, EVA foam) and most are pretty easy to craft.
👑: Play royal court with them! They can be a princess or queen and you're their prince/princess or knight. Make a royal schedule and give them the princess treatment, pretty dresses included!
🎀: Style their hair! Grab a brush and all kinds of hair accessories and let your creativity flow! Short hair can be styled with headbands, bows and hairclips, while longer hair can also be tied into braids, buns, or anything!
🍡: Make dressup games and picrews of them! Picrews and other dressup websites are an amazing alternative to physical fashion dolls, since you can make them look just like your caregiver and dress them up in all kinds of pretty clothes. Don't forget to show them the finished pictures!
🩰: Play fashion runway! You can either both play as runway models, or one of you can be the stylist while the other is the model. Fashion runaway is also an opportunity to express and experiment with outfits.

A little vent
I'm in burnout, college has been taking a massive toll on me - even though the semester has barely started - and I've been drinking an unholy amount of caffeine to cope.
Having severe executive dysfunction comes with the inability of being as productive as most people, even when it comes to small things such as writing this very post (for me texposts are the hardest to make) and I genuinely feel terrible for not keeping up with everyone else. Sometimes I wonder if that feeling will ever go away.
But, as a wise red heeler once said, we should run our own race.
That's why requests will be closed for a while, since recently I've only had time and energy to do agere stuff for myself (I have like 20 posts gathering digital dust in my drafts-), and if you've sent me a request it will sit on my inbox until I have the energy to do them. Hope you understand.

omg backyardigans were one of my favorite shows as a kid that’s so cool to see someone else who likes them too hehe ^_^
Backyardigans is so underrated!! What baffles me the most is how well produced it is. They have their own music team and choreographers and they explore a different music genre and movie trope every episode! I'm pretty sure a lot of kids were introduced to certain classic movies through them (it was spy movies for me)
Anyways, good reminder to watch Backyardigans next time I regress -w-

Little me is so different from big me!
Normally I prefer darker colors, specially dark blue ;;
But when I'm small I just loooove lilac and pale colors, and rainbows just make me go woooow ★´ˎ˗
Big me is a cautious wildcat with grumpy raspy meows ;;
Little me is just the silliest most friendly kitty ever! ★´ˎ˗
When big I'm a massive metalhead ;;
When I'm little I prefer silly and chill viddy gaem music ★´ˎ˗
Usually I'm low energy ;;
But little me is agitated and restless! ★´ˎ˗
I would be lying if I said that I'm not overly cautious with... everything, really;;
Meanwhile little me does whatever they want without a care in the world! ★´ˎ˗
Sometimes regression sheds a light on different aspects of myself and gives me the opportunity to express myself in diferent ways, which I think is beautiful.
I suppose some people are like me, some aren't. And that's another beautiful thing about regression: everyone experiences it in a different way!

Thanks for the kind words, and of course, I can walk you through my process of making a moodboard (although I don't think my method is the best one out there qwq)
The main software I use is FireAlpaca, it's my go to photo editing software and I use it for my art too, not the best but it's free and has the basic tools. I'm sure most photo editing softwares have the same tools or even better.
I use a 3x3 grid as the foreground, then I copy and paste the main pictures and resize and crop them to fit inside the grid, they're all in separate layers and sometimes I edit them individually to match the color scheme. For the transparent PNGs I use remove.bg and copy and paste them to the moodboard. Then I add some filters both in FireAlpaca and in other apps and ta-da! Moodboard!
I hope this helps! Again, this is probably not the best method but if it works, it works!
