I am so happy to finally post this! I was partnered up with @nolanfa on the @womenincomicsminibang and she did such a beautiful illustration of a scene in my fic, go show her art some love!

There's blood on her hands. There's blood on her hands and Pino is crying, and she should know what to do. She remembers the first aid lessons they taught in school, and she knows she should be putting pressure on Pino’s wounds, and there’s blood on her hands.

Barbara has nightmares, she’s not ashamed to admit it. She has nightmares of the Joker, of Dick dying, of her dad dying, of Steph dying, of Tim dying, of Cass dying, of Helena dying, of Kara dying. The nightmares make her human, it means she hasn’t completely disconnected herself from the world, not like Bruce has.
