Aizawa's popularity last week makes sense from how well loved I see him in mha, vigilantes, and ao3 fics. But this popularity? I never thought he's this popular. Not to diss Aizawa but this is too suspicious. Bots it is, then. There's no other explanation.

Is there any hope this can be fixed? Maybe just wishful thinking, but I seriously want to know the characters' popularity, not this kind of cheating...

Aizawa's popularity still comes from the same place as last week - Asia.

Last week he ranked 2nd (I already thought that was a bit weird), and this week he was 1st beating out even Bakugou in Asia (now that is just very suspicious for a big region like that).

He actually places behind Shouto in every other region (except Europe), and closer to his normal 5-8th spot. And he also only gained a spot in Latin America. So there are no big gains for him.

Dabi's and Kirishima's overall results show that this poll is decided in Asia, Japan and North America which seem to have the biggest impact in the overall results:

Iida entering Top 5, placing 2nd in North America and jumping from 20th to 7th in Asia is proof that botting is possible.

Kaminari also went from 17th to 5th in Asia, which is also suspicious.

It's a shame, because the characters pushed out of Top 10 are Uraraka and All Might.

There are so many good characters that dwell near the bottom of the polling, character who could shoot up many positions with just a handful of votes. Characters who deserve better than to be buried. Let's look at a few of them: -Nemuno: Forever forgotten since HFiFS drops, she's rarely gotten a chance to shine. She's a recluse, she's a mature and wild beauty, she has a large knife! What is there not to love? Yet she is the lowest rated windows character. Injustice. -Urumi: Do you like Nemuno, but just aren't there for the cave and knives aesthetic? Then let me introduce you to her destined wife, Urumi! A fisherwoman, a cow and a spider in one package, and a mom if you squint real hard; an excellent bargain! Yet she languishes only one spot above Nemuno. -Kisune: My #1 vote every time. The hobo queen of Gensokyo who helpfully cleans up all the bones people throw down the well. She lives in a giant bucket, how can you not vote for her? -Eika: A little darling of a jellyfish girl and organizational expert, criminally overlooked by the fandom. She's one of my favorite 7th votes, personally, she's just adorable. Someday she will be an architect without peer ;_; -Takane: The other kappa airsoft yamawaro! The fulfillment of a promise made in WaHH, she is a natural foil to the ever popular Nitori, with all the implications you want from that. Her focus on war games makes her a natural for fun Wile E. Coyote type weapons silliness, tragically overlooked. She needs more love. -Sannyo: The subject of scandal last year, Sannyo was one of the least voted for, and some well-meaning but misguided soul tried to stuff the ballots for her. She deserves better, she deserves real votes. @sannyo-appreciation-posts would shank me if I didn't mention her here. There's an underappreciated character for everyone. it's finally time for the second-ever SCRYBRUARY! the february monthly challenge dedicated to creative written expression inspired by daniel mullins's Inscryption.

this year i presented a poll of potential weekly themes here on tumblr, and have selected the top four options for this year's event, arranged in ascending order of popularity! thank you so much to everyone who participated in the voting ^^

as usual the rules for this event are simple and loose; the only concrete guideline is that you must adhere to one or more of the above prompts for pieces written for the event! otherwise, you can engage however you're most comfortable; if you only want to write for the same prompt every week, or only have the bandwidth to write for one or two prompts during the event, or even aren't much of a writer and just want to illustrate for a fic you feel fits one of these prompts, go wild! this month is for fun, not for stress ^^

Week 2, February 8-14th: Backstory/First Meeting

Backstory is something we're given woefully little of in Inscryption! Did the Scrybes know each other prior to "arriving" at the archipelago? How did Goobert and the Angler's supposed rivalry start off? Not to mention the myriad of question marks when it comes to why so many of these characters are the way they are to begin with... This is the week to dive deep into the past and explore!

Week 3, February 15-21st: Day in the Life/Mundane

This week we kick back and celebrate the smaller things in life! Whether you use this week to kidnap the Scrybes into a quaint little coffee shop AU or just shed light on what Magnificus's students might do to unwind after a long day, it's all fair game as long as it's nothing out of the ordinary...

Week 4, February 22-29th: Fix-it Fic/Good Ending

Inscryption's characters all despise each other, and the ending is a bit of a downer! We all know this well, if the myriad of fix-it fics already out there are anything to go by...but for many, the well is in constant danger of running dry, and these characters deserve all the happy endings they can get! So now is the time to close out the month with a bit of repair and reconciliation.

it makes me laugh that Eren Jaeger, protagonist of his own fucking series, didn't even make it into the top 3 of the final (?) popular character polls 💀💀

i believe this is from 2021 (at least that's when "The best of Attack On Titan: in colour volume 1" was published but it's got chapter 130 in it) but it's still hilarious that top three are (under the cut cause technically could be spoilers idk)

TMF Popularity Poll Winners!! Ft. TMF comic

( for context I did a poll with 89 voters who contributed answering the question “who is your favourite character from TMF” and the top two winners I’ll draw fanart for )

1st: is Drew!! With over one third of the votes going to him.

2nd: Is Jake! There was a lot of competition with Hailey for 2nd though.

This means the fanart will be some PlumPeach content:)
