re: this video… anon 😭 i had suspicions but it is so much worse to have them confirmed that really was like. trevor’s first Public Appearance without jamie AND post-broken ankle which is traumatic in and of itself no wonder every beat reporter was like ‘oh yeah trevor’s just devastated’

wouldn’t you be miserable too if your best friend just got traded and your body betrayed you and what if it was maybe all your fault!!!

As someone who doesn't really pay attention to the Oilers in the regular season, do you guys also have a subset of fans who constantly want to trade your star players for no apparent reason?

I feel like McDavid hasn't been super noticeable in this series apart from Game 2. Are the village idiots calling for his head on a spike, or are your fans normal?

im getting real sick of 'intelligence'

who decided reading books and writing counted as intelligence? who decided that getting high scores on a strict, unfeeling system meant you were better than everybody? who decided that people should be turned into numbers, tie their worth in society into numbers, to compare people on a scale that ultimately does not matter, so that the people who didn't dump everything to perform for it are berated and the people who did end up with nothing?

who decided not reading or writing was a lack of intelligence? who decided that living differently to them was a sign of lower 'societal worth' than those who conformed?

#planet crafter #all the autocrafters are on a lower level #they don't count as my base #that's my emotional support industrial district #technically I guess I have 2 industrial districts now #I made a cookie factory-district as well x3 #you can't put trade rockets at y=1000 they disappear #so I have to have my trade ships elsewhere which is a little annoying #but it works x3 #I love my little base #I've discovered a base-structure that fits my needs perfectly #the only issue is it needs the biggest compartments and you don't get those until endgame xD

given that pokemon is currently the most popular media franchise of all time, there's a distinct possibility that in the modern era there exist more visual depictions of pikachu than there are of jesus christ

#like as far as im aware there aren't mass produced bible trading cards #or over 1000 episodes of a show where jesus appears in nearly every episode #or jesus bedsheets and backpacks and socks and graphic tees and video games #there are quite a few jesus figurines #but i'm not quite sure of the scale of them #especially relative to the sheer scale of capitalist mass production and consumption that the pokemon franchise is emblematic of #honestly? good for the little electric rat. he deserves it #turtle hall of fame
