Nothing like a break from Anakin.

Though she loved her brother dearly, and everybody knew it, even Noa could admit that Anakin was a bit much at times. Even the one closest to him needed a break every now and then.

She wasn’t alone, though. She had their beloved loth-wolf, Trixie, with her. Though she was only a cub, Trixie was already the size of a fully established wolf, so Noa knew she had nothing to worry about when it came to having protection.

“Master.” Trixie’s sudden voice startled Noa, and she looked at her companion to find she was staring at… was that a body in front of them?

Noa gasped, though a quick reach into the Force would tell her the body was a live one, so she didn’t have to worry about the stress of if it was… well, if it had been the other way around.

“Go on, girl. Investigate.”

Noa spoke calmly to her companion, and the body - a young looking boy, around Noa’s age - would soon feel something rough and cold against his cheek.

Eventually Megatron has a “oh fuck” moment when he invades an illegal mining operation in central Africa. It puts into perspective how far he has fallen, seeing his commanders make deals with those who profited off the mines, just like those in power back on cybertron. 

Midlife crisis, Megatron leaves the Decepticon cause, he takes Soundwave with him. Declares he will do whatever he needs in order to free those enslaved on this planet

Megatron joins the Autobots, this cases Prowl to leave and switch sides 

Battles pick up heat as both sides are desperate 

Millionaires and those in places of high power use Cybertronian technology to flee earth and live in space as earth is being destroyed

Starscream kills Optimus Prime in an attempt to kill Megatron. Both sides retreat as a result 

Optimus splits the matrix and gives it to Hotrod and bumblebee, 

Rodimus prime and Vespa Prime are born 

Optimus Prime’s spark is put in a reformation chamber with parts of Megatron in an attempt to bring him back 

Treaties are made and the decepticons take Cybertron as the Autobots stay on earth 

Post war 

Decepticons start rebuilding Cybertroinian society 

Shockwave finishes creating a replacement for Soundwave

Soundblaster is born 

The first sparkling born on Cybertron in millenia emerges

Nightflyer is born 

Due to the splitting of the matrix of leadership, dormant energon on earth awakens and allows for new sparklings to emerge

Earth starts to heal with the help of the matrix, forests grow and temperatures fall to a normal level 

Major cities act as sanctuaries for the human population, help from other alien races arrives as well, helping earth to become a space traveling hub 

Cybertron 

The Decepticons no longer go by that name, no longer wanting to be associated with the past. They go by Workers of Prime 

Shockwave has put together a complicated and purposeful chain of command and leadership that he sits at the top of. However Starscream is the “king” of Cybertron, while being a puppet 

Prowl takes care of enforcing laws and regulations to the planet. Along with trying to unite the cities with one another 

Cybertron now has a entertainment industry, focused on promoting good morals to the population along with keeping bots distracted 

Cybertron only communicate with it’s colony planets, trying to form a stronger relationship between all transformers 

“Peace times” (start of the story) 

Sparkplug is currently working as the assistant of Ratchet under the blessing of Megatron and Elita one 

Sparkplug trains in her free time to be a scout and will sneak off every once and a while to play basement concerts 

On Cybertron, Nightflyer is top of his class while training to be a high guard soldier. He is chosen by Shockwave to go on a mission to earth and infiltrate the Autobots

Cybertron is in desperate need of resources 

Nightflyer lands on earth and pretends to be a Decepticon defector, Sparkplug is wary of him 

Nightflyer manages to become an Autobot and meets Sparkplug during the scout tryouts 

Reluctantly Sparkplug is passed but gets put on the Energon transportation and quality control team, she’s fine with this as she just wanted to see the world 

Nightflyer gets put on a mission team, meeting Landlot, Defender and other bots his age. 

During this time we get our first mentions of a cult ran by a former Decepticon that’s turning humans into purple energon

Both Spark and Night explore earth and meet new and old bots.

Example: Sparkplug gets to know earth born transformers, Nightflyer gets to meet bots like Skyfire 

Back at the base, Sparkplug gets annoyed with how much fanfare Nightflyer is getting, while she still gets treated like a sparkling 

She breaks Night’s social mask and gets to know the real him. A romance between the two starts to form 

Shockwave informs Nightflyer that they’re sending a team to take over the main Autobot base 

Shockwave employs the DJD to help in the Autobot attack 

Return to war 

Sparkplug confesses to Nightflyer, Nightflyer returns the feeling as he does like her.

Right before the invasion he tries to convince her that living on Cybertron wouldn’t be so bad. Sparkplug refutes that she likes Earth and that Cybertron would probably hate her.

The DJD and a group of seakers make their way to Earth and start fucking shit up

Big dramatic reveal to the characters that Nightflyer was a spy all along and is Starscream’s ward

Things are going in the bad guy’s favor until Tarn realizes Sparkplug is part Megatron.

 He orders his men to capture her and kill everyone else, as they have a new leader of the Decepticon cause 

The battle becomes even more messy as sides are switched and the Autobots and seekers are now fighting to survive

While attempting to help Megatron fight off Tarn, Sparkplug is grabbed by Soundblaster, who hopes to bring her back to Shockwave in order to get in his favor. 

Space distortion happens when Skywarp tries to help get Soundblaster out of there and accidentally sends him and Sparkplug halfway across the universe. 

This cases the DJD to leave as they are now looking for Sparkplug, and the seekers(after getting beaten by the DJD) are taken prisoner for now 

Depression but in space 

 Sparkplug and Soundblaster are in the middle of nowhere on a deserted planet. After trying to restrain one another, they realize they need to help each other if they wanna survive this mess

Back on earth, Rodimus comes back from space due to getting a SOS message, he is yelled at by his family

Acidstorm, Slipstream and Airachnid are absolutely furious about being stuck on earth for the time being. Nightflyer is currently being used as a verbal punching bag for the Autobots 

Back in Space, Sparkplug and Soundblaster start to develop a chemistry as they learn more about each other.

Rodiums takes it upon himself to get Sparkplug back as a way to make up for leaving everyone years ago. This is a big reference to “the lost light”, characters like megatron, rodimus, swerve and others join, along with some OC’s like Nanabah (native american sharpshooter) who forms a friendship with Preceptor, and Lobo (the lowrider transformer born on earth) 

Rodimus takes nightflyer under his wing in an attempt to reform him  

In space, Spark and Soundblaster start to feel romantic feelings for one another. However this is interrupted by them getting found by the DJD.

Soundwave takes it upon himself to split off from Rodimus group as he might be able to locate her better through his mind powers (I don’t know, it's all space magic man)

Sparkplug properly meets Tarn and is quickly given a new frame and alt mode against her will. 

Soundwave finds the DJD with Spark on it and sneaks on, However he is caught, and even if he fights well, he can’t fight off all of them.

Tarn forces Sparkplug to finally give into her anger when he kills Soundwave in front of her and lets her kill him. 

Spark takes on the name “Megatron” and is then forced to eat Tarn’s spark in an act of dominance. She is now the leader of the DJD

Part two

haha finally debuting my magical girl marvels au! i was thinking of a manga cover while making this; i really wanted it to have a kinda hyperpop and sailor moon style.

So! In my version of this AU, the Marvels travel through different dimensions to fight the forces of evil to balance the multiversal scale! They do this, via train! The train is usually a subway, but it magically adapts to the dimensions they are in. (Ex. Submarine Looking Train for a mainly water dimension, an old style train for a dimension with a earlier timeline.)

Billy Batson is a Train Conductor! I based his outfit on those train conductor uniforms and I really like it. His main base powers are, of course, lighting, and the ability to make portals! He uses the portals in his fighting style, dodging with portals instead of blocking attacks. Billy can only teleport to a mirror dimension without the aid of the train, so he actually teleports to the mirror dimension in fights when he dodges, then portals back to the og dimension. The train boosts his powers so his ability to travel to the mirror dimension is enhanced, and he can travel to other dimensions when using the train. (Other then that, its a basic portal power lol)

Mary’s design was inspired by fairy tale princes, which is actually really random but I made it work. I wanted the three of them to be different genres of magical girls, but still fit look like they are in the same style. Her base powers in this AU is basically charisma (yes, literal charms), and lightning. So, her charisma powers are pretty much just that people will be more inclined to do things her way; she lets off an aura of power + confidence that no one can say no to (besides Billy and Freddy, they are immune). She also will look extremely intimidating to people when she wants to. So in a nutshell, her power is to change the way people perceive her, and use that to her advantage. Mary often uses this to do undercover work, or info gathering about the dimension they are in.

Freddy, is a mermaid based magical girl. He can shift between having a mermaid tail and his legs. His base powers are hydrokinesis (ability to control water) and (can you guess it?) lightning! Though not shown here, Freddy actually uses water to float himself around. The water is thinly covered over his body and he uses that to get around without his crutches. He learned how to do this after seeing how he can float in the water when swimming. Freddy doesn’t do this all the time because it requires a lot of control and it can tire himself out. He used to do it all the time, but once in a battle, he shifted all his focus into the fight and lost control of the water that makes him float. Freddy learnt to not completely rely on his powers all the time after that. I’ll go more into this specific event later bc I think this scenario would really impact how Freddy sees his disability, and how he learns to accept it. I imagine this Freddy is more recently disabled and that he still has bitter feelings about it. The thing with Freddy’s dad in the boat still happened (they got attacked by one of Billy’s enemies), and that’s when he got his leg injury. He met Billy that way and got his powers. (Basically just how CM3 got his powers.. idk why im explaining it)

The thing is that I, myself, am not disabled so I need a bit of help understanding what that would be like to accurately write Freddy’s struggles with his disability. 😭

Another thing is that I’m not sure what their hero names would be? I tried doing those precure names like ‘Cure Marvel!’ but that would only work for one of them and I would still need names. Marvel *insert something here* or *something* Marvel is an idea but I wouldn’t know what to put.

my shikanaru fics: a masterlist

listen, shikanaru was, is and will probably always be my otp so i’m just gonna start the long and tedious task of documenting my fic links for this ship. (fml but i NEED to wrangle everything into some form of organised chaos so bear with me). i’ve apparently written seventeen stories with them, which is both a smaller number than i’d thought and yet genuinely a baffling amount. note that while this ship features abundantly in my work, the primary focus of the story is not always on the development of their relationship.

i will mark my personal favourites with a “🖤” because yes, i do not love all my babies equally. i discriminate. some are just more dear to me, okay?

note: shikanaru is the default main/primary ship in these stories. the other ships mentioned are automatically the side-ships or the shared-spotlight pairings.

🖤 2. swiggles: a quintessential sealmaster naruto fic where i’ve quite frankly gone a bit wild with the lore and the plentiful doodles. naruto makes friends, makes seals, makes some more friends. shikamaru is basically his best friend, along with sakura. obito returns to the village in this au but only after naruto’s already in the academy. speaking of, this fic, as of the last chapter, has only just reached graduation so it’s heavy on the pre-canon storyline. personally, developing the friend group in this, as well as the sweet, almost childish yet meaningful bond between shikanaru was very enjoyable for me | 83k words | incomplete, on hiatus | 19/? | eventual fuuinjutsu master!naruto, slow burn, fluff + humor, sakuino | rated T |

5. the dance of destiny: platonic soulmates sasunaru and best friends shikasaku. sakura and shika leave the village to train with tsunade and years later, return so that sakura can become the hokage—she’s a champion of the civilians, basically. meanwhile, naruto has thoughts and feelings about this, given his own dream of taking the kage mantle. these four meet and their destinies (hah!) intermingle, much like an off-tempo waltz on the dancefloor (hah! again). shikamaru apparently has an asshole dad—shikaku—in this because that was what the muse wanted | 7.4k words | 2/? | incomplete | bamf!everyone | sasusaku | rated M |

🖤 6. colors of you: a lighthearted oneshot about shikamaru discovering that the village vandal painting konoha in all sorts of ridiculous murals is, infact, naruto and joining him on one of his escapades. this was written for a prompt challenge hosted on r/fanfiction actually. had a fun time writing this story. i really like how their dynamic turned out | ~4k words | pov shikamaru | rated M |

7. all in good time: another time travel fic about a burnt-out twenty-year old naruto finding himself back as an academy student after becoming estranged with konoha 12 in the og timeline following a failed jounin exam in which he ended up being the cause for shikamaru getting injured and scarred. this one’s more angsty, with a gentler naruto who’s a little sick of his life as a chunin. i really want to write and complete this story one day, because the storyboarding for the plot is a bit different than my usual fare | 13k words | 3/? | incomplete | alternate universe + time travel, slow burn | rated M |

🖤 8. the stories we never shared: a fic wherein naruto leaves konoha the night before graduation and years later, tsunade assembles a mission squad of seven to go after him, to protect him and offer him refuge, as a response to their knowledge about akatsuki and their plans to target jinchiruukis. this is also a shikasasunaru poly fic. it’s much slower and extremely interpersonal. i’m trying to develop and juggle different relationships and friendships with due regard. this fic also possibly has one of my favourite versions of naruto i’ve ever written. shikamaru is the mission leader and he shares a mutually contentious relationship with sasuke | 27k words | 4/? | incomplete | bamf!naruto, threeway povs, slowburn | rated M |

🖤 9. being known: a 5+1 fic about naruto and shikamaru sharing various conversations as they grow up and how their friendships ends up becoming something much much more. i’ve probably re-read this work the most because this is how i imagine shikanaru at their most grounded. they’re alike in so many ways beyond the superficial differences and it’s always a fun task to coax those commonalties out. it’s also non-linear | 18k words | 6/6 | complete | getting together, pov!shikamaru, pov!naruto.

10. blood of the covenant; water of the womb: my take on the arranged marriage trope. shikamaru is heir of the nara clan that resides in suna. shikaku is kazekage. naruto is heir of the uzumaki clan which is the closest thing to royalty in the shinobi world. to stop the prolonged conflict between konoha and suna, their marriage is proposed as a means for amicable ceasefire | 4k words | 1/? | incomplete | bamf!shikanaru, enemies to friends to lovers, politics | rated M |

🖤 11. naruto’s very eminent, very influential babysitters: naruto is raised communally amongst all the clans of konoha, on shikaku’s suggestion. mostly a humorous and fluffy fic and has the least amount of shikanaru, tbh. since they are, you know, babies. as of the last chapter, though, shikamaru has begun to have certain sorts of awakening. naruto is an absolute gremlin child here, chaos-maker extraordinaire. features interpersonal clan lore and many many side characters | 25k words | 5/7 | incomplete | fluff + humor, pre-canon, crack treated seriously | rated T |

🖤 13. twelfth guardian: naruto is sent to the daimyo’s mansion for his “safety”. shikamaru arrives there after becoming jounin, as one of the twelve ninja guardians. plot ensues in the background (conspiracy against the hokage, betrayals, etc.) while they fall in love after getting to know each other. this is my recent darling fic. i’ve drawn some art for it which is not just shitty doodling, i swear. i just have to sit and complete the third part so i can mark it as finished. it’s one fic where i’ve dug deep into shikamaru’s psyche and really enjoyed it | 20k words | 2/3 | incomplete | bamf!naruto, bamf!shika, multiple ocs, pov shikamaru | rated M |

TF Failsafe Coding AU

The concept of this continuity soup AU is that Warframes, particularly warframes with slave coding can trigger a heat/rut through submitting to a stronger opponent in battle.

It makes them limp and pathetic, unable to activate their weapon systems, just about able to string a sentence together between chirrups of binary, the only hard part of them is their spike so it's easier for the victor to cart them off. They'll just mewl and roll around on their back to present their spikes, a failsafe to deter the victor from just killing them. However, if a mech has been on a winning streak & suddenly looses it forcibly activates.

This is inspired by a Tokyo Ghoul Fanfic Series I've been reading particularly the fic ( https://archiveofourown.org/works/48210463/chapters/121576942 ) I recommend reading that entry even if you're unfamiliar with the source material it's absolutely fantastic. Also this is somewhat inspired by my love of the X-Men & Ajin: Demi-human.

Maybe it was something conjured up by the Quintessons during their occupation to deter more violent troops from killing their coworkers because if they lost they'd become docile for a time & if they won they'd end up sparked, harder to cause trouble that way. The quints also found it's excellent entertainment at parties.

Anyway in the modern day Gladiators have to wear chastity devices because there's no way that the arena masters are giving people a free show, instead if a bot drops into heat they'll be carted out of the arena to a private afterparty for the high society bots to attend.

The managers don't want their star champions to end up sparked & have to take a break from performing.

Sometimes Gladiators can even be rented out to private arenas in Senator's homes or high end nightclubs for Fight & Spike parties where the fight is just an appetizer for the main event of watching some hulking warframe present themselves begging to be touched. Ridden or pounded by the victor, often pumped up on aggression inducing drugs, then turned over to the guests. That's all perfectly legal, in the gladiatorial contracts even, ignore that little detail about most of them signing said contracts under duress. What isn't legal is using these Gladiators as studs for the breeding of trafficked unregistered Outliers.

Which is where our intrepid undercover investigative journalist Orion Pax comes in. He's gotten into one of these parties to investigate the possible links to the disappearances of prominent Outliers & civil rights activists on behalf of Senator Shockwave. His cover is that he's some arm candy secretary picked up from the archives for (senator of your choice who Shockwave is blackmailing to go along with it). Orion sometimes works with fellow independent journalists Jazz & Blaster who primarily travel from city to city, event to event, interviewing interesting people with a political bent (think all gas no breaks / channel 5 the youtube channels if you're familiar but Jazz & Blaster aren't sex pests like the hosts of those channels 💀 if you're not familiar I'd recommend looking up someone reacting to one of their videos don't give the og channels views). They're helping him, monitoring the situation & relating his wire to their police contact Prowl who's been kicked off the missing Outliers case for getting too close to the truth.

Thus sets the scene for Orion to meet Megatron. He's aware of the gladiator of course who wouldn't know the face of the reigning champion of the pit, but seeing clips of his fights is not the same as seeing the mech sprawled back on the dancefloor, hazey optic'd & undulating to show off his spike. Whirring & beeping like a mechanimal. Orion has never seen something so hot before in his life & he hates himself for it. Which is about when the host of the party brings out Starscream who's been legally registered as dead for several months. Makes him ride Megatron until he's sparked up. Of course to make sure he's carrying an Outlier spark that's inherited his abilities the host blows a hole through his processor mid second round. After a few seconds Star jerks back into action, this isn't his first rodeo & he wants to get it over with asap before the host gets bored of boasting about his sales pitch, already starting bidding on Star's unborn bitty, & decides to shoot him again for the spectacle of it all.

Megatron is Distressed his heat partner just died, without any fight response he's working himself into hysterics. His processor is mush, energon & fragments of processor boards splashed across his face, whimpering he can't understand it His Mate just died he felt the death flare in his EM field but he can also feel the body is still moving.

Star absolutely loathes those noises & Megatron's expression because it breaks the immersion of all the training he's been through to see himself as an object because this bot is treating him like a person asking if he's hurt in base binary chirps & it makes him hate himself more. Maybe he's got a scold's bridle on so that he can't speak, he's not nicknamed Screamer for no reason.

Orion attends a few of these parties. He also goes to interview Megatron while he's sober after winning a match. Officially it's because Orion is writing a puff piece about Megatron so they have a conversation dancing around the subject, aware they're being monitored. Orion doesn't realise he's been found out as a mole until he's being dragged into the arena ring at a party. Thrown down in front of a drugged up Megatron, he's completely berserk, unable to be reasoned with, going to rip Orion to pieces. So thinking quickly Orion just surrenders mimicking a warframe's defeat induced heat driven to a fever pitch Megatron frags him until the drugs are out of his system. The party goers love it & want an oncore meanwhile Megs is coming back to his senses, an absolutely wrecked civilian mech underneath him. His handler is screaming at him over internal comms to give the ppl what they want & frag his throat open like he just did to that medalling journalist's valve. Orion just tells him " I'm sorry they're making you do this, I will endure it, don't blame yourself for what they're forcing you to do"

Of course they don't just let Orion go afterwards so now he's a missing person. Jazz, Blaster, & Prowl were tapped into Orion's audio visual feed & saw the whole thing up until Megatron crushed his Audials & Optics while fucking his face until it falls apart.

Orion is now being trafficed with the Outliers, his sensors are limited to tactial & olfactory only, luckily most of the trafficked bots know Sign language & Chirolinguistics so they teach him. Both Star & Orion are sparked up so they're housed together. Being moved from safehouse to safehouse. Star decides to use his own parts to try and repair Orion since even if he ripps out an optic it'll just grow back when he resets. His owner doesn't intervene because he finds it funny & it is keeping Starscream occupied. They are planning to repair Orion after the sparkling is born so they can get a repeat performance. But maybe they subject him to empurata since his face is already smashed.

Not sure what happens from here, maybe Jazz, Blaster, & Co decide to break Megatron out of the arena to help them track down Orion & the missing Outliers via his fledgling Sire bond.

I'm making Blurr an Outlier also, quicksilver type shit. He's fairly well-known by the general public as his disqualification from participating in any sporting events was highly publicised. With his fellow Velocitronians finding it to be highly offensive that he's barred, some more zealous individuals believe Blurr's speed to have been a blessing by their colony's patron Amalgamous Prime. He's lapping up being the civil rights movements' poster child. I'm also making Senator Shockwave Velocitronian royalty, rumoured to be a direct descendant of Amalgamous Prime. It's traditional that the royalty of Velocitron are Conjunx to the winner of the race celebrating their coming of age ceremony, whenever they choose to have that celebration after they reach adulthood is up to them, so Shockwave has postponed his in protest until the cybertronian government would recognise Blurr as the winner. They decide to do some fake dating 'the government is forbidding our love from being recognized in the traditional manner of our people' type shit for the tabloids to lap up & sway public opinion. They're a real celebrity couple.

This makes both of them frequent targets for assassinations & kidnappings. Starscream was a hired guard for Blurr & 'died' in one of these attacks, with the traffickers realising that Star was an Outlier & taking him after watching him wake up from a decapitation. Shockwave goes missing during one of these attempts, carted off to be subjected to empurata, the surgery triggers a mass/shape shifting mutation in him. He breaks out & returns to office hiding the fact that he's now an Outlier himself, maintaining his original form for long periods of time stressing out his body to the point of seizures. Blurr caring for him & helping him hide himself leads them to develop genuine feelings for eachother.

Talon Dick via Tim AU

@hisaribi came up with the initial AU and helped flesh this idea out!

To start out, most of the timeline is the same up to just before Jason comes back as Red Hood. Here are the two main differences to the OG timeline:

Before Dick's parents died, the Court of Owls experimented slightly on Dick. He was a candidate they were considering for the Talon program. They injected him a few times to monitor results before deciding whether to initiate fully. They brainwashed him with some latent codes and were planning to take him after his parents' deaths. Obviously, Bruce stopped the second part of their plot. The codes and serum still existed in him as he grew up, though.

Tim's parents were invited to the Court of Owls. Due to their travels, though, they weren't able to meet membership requirements. Tim thus knew about the CoO but wasn't a part of it.

Here's where the timeline starts to diverge. Tim's been Robin for at least a year now. Bruce and Dick are somewhat talking again. Everything is okay (not necessarily great, but Tim hopes one day it could be).

Then Bruce causes Dick to die (dealer's choice on how deliberate it was).

A second son of Bruce (and perhaps the last child he actually considers as his own) dies. Obviously, this man tries to reenact his brutality boogie through Gotham.

Tim believes it's his fault that Bruce caused Dick to die (if Tim had done his self-assigned job better, if he had healed Bruce more, if he kept a tighter leash on that man, maybe Dick wouldn't have died).

The techniques Tim had used before to pull Bruce from that ledge aren't working. The teen is barely able to restrain the Batman's more violent tendencies. He's trying, in the midst of his own grief and self-blame, to do what he became Robin for. He's really really trying.

Tim, the lovely little rascal, gets the brilliant idea to use the CoO resources to bring Dick back to life. Perhaps he can fix his failures, prevent Bruce from drowning, and have his brother back.

It somewhat works.

Due to the shit in Dick's system before he died, more injections are able to receive Dick. It changes him, but he's alive. That's what Tim cares about.

Yet, the CoO find out about their shit being used and steal Dick away.

Tim then spends almost a year rescuing him from the CoO, trying to fix all the brainwashing, and reforming Dick's sense of identity. Dick isn't fully himself, he follows orders too readily, and he spends a lot of time dissociating. He has some physical traits of Talons, but he also has more autonomy and resistance than the others.

Tim can't quite present Dick as a fresh Talon to Bruce. That wouldn't work and might make Batman even more violent. Thus, Tim spends that year juggling his mentor and Dick's wellbeing. That poor kid is stressed and going through it (he's also fighting off the CoO alone and has to hide Dick). At the very least, Talon!Dick cares for Tim. They are close, and Tim gets showered in affection by the older one.

Unfortunately for the teen, a certain red helmet starts popping up in Crime Alley.

Jason is high key pissed at Bruce. He is raging and foaming at the mouth because Dick died (and no one but CoO and Tim know otherwise). Jason has let go of some of his hatred for Dick. He's able to remember the better times and that the man was his brother. They didn't have a perfect relationship, but they were siblings.

Bruce killed him (Jason's perspective on it regardless of how purposeful Bruce was in orchestrating Dick's death). Bruce killed Dick, the original Robin, and he's got a placeholder still prancing around in stoplight colors.

So, Jason goes to beat the shit out of Tim to prove to Bruce that he obviously can't protect anyone.

When he gets to Drake Manor guns blazing, a very angry and protective Talon!Dick starts beating the shit out of him. Only by the grace of Jason's helmet being removed mid-battle is Jason saved.

Later, when a cold Dick refuses to stop hugging Jason, Red Hood raises an eyebrow in Tim's direction and asks what the fuck is going on.

Tim wants to ask him the same thing.

Because Dick is immortal as a Talon, he's forever as he is. One day, all of his younger siblings will grow older than him

Jason and Tim will teach each other not to base so much of their life off of Bruce. From opposite ends of the spectrum (devotion vs malice), they base their choices, demeanor, and paths according to Bruce.

Dick oscillates between the two during their arguments about Bruce (especially due to his Talon state being more or less present)

Dick struggles with his memory. Both recent and pre-Talon memories can be harder to recall some days

Jason is chill with killing, but Dick despises it. He doesn't want to kill, but, due to his programming, he's been forced to.

When Dick is forced to follow an order, he has two reactions. He either blanks out and wakes up with no memory of what he's done, or he is mentally present the entire time as he screams at himself to stop :(

When Bruce gets lost in the timestream, Jason believes Tim. However, he wants Tim to let Bruce die

UZI - Theme; "Dangerous Stranger"

Dwarf bat, is slightly smaller than most of her peers - got her heigh from her dad (and not from her mother, obviously LOL)

VERY fluffy neck area, which puffs out when she's angry or embarassed. It happens alot especially during her earlier arc, since she's not really used to be around people.

Has a dormant/inactive strain of the rabies-like virus the Solver belongs to, however, despite its dormant status it does affect her personality and behaviour slightly! She's way more unhinged than OG Uzi, especially in her post-arc.

LOVES raves/rave music. Differently from OG Uzi she's less of an emo/goth personality and more of a 2000s raver girlie (which is evident in her theme lol)

Loud mouthed and WILL voice her opinion, lol

Her mom is a touchy subject and she WILL get angry when you push her about it too much

In the beginning of her story Uzi's fairly similar to OG Uzi - snarky, pushes people away and hates it when they care for her well-being, assuming that people just fake being nice in order to get something from her. She's not particularily insecure, but rather "too" self-preserving and just doesn't really want to get hurt in the long run. Losing her mother has taken a toll on her mental health and being infected with the solver-strain doesn't really help

Later on, she opens up and allows her true personality to finally shine through... which is slightly unhinged. Actually, very unhinged, but in an... kind of adorable way :']] She gets way more self-confident and allows people to approach her, which also helps when Cyn moves in with them

N(ATHAN)

Harpy Eagle, fairly tall (7'2" / 2,20m) and muscular for his species. Strong! Has a very prominent keel (sternum) visible on his chest

His hair behind the cap are more like feathers and correspond to his emotions! Can floof up or lay flat

Fourth toe on his feet is very moveable and can be turned so it's infront with his other three primary toes - he can grab stuff fairly easily thanks to his anatomy & carry it with ease!

Similar to Vera, he was "born" in the lab and cloned from another harpy eagles DNA (he doesn't know who though)

A bit naive and sometimes too good-hearted, trusts easily but if his trust is broken through actual malice he won't hold back if need be

Very good fighter, especially in the air

Carrier, can travel fairly fast by flight!

Ends up with Thad later on in the story, teehee >:]]c

Egyptian Mau x Oriental Longhair, shaves alot of her longer fur for work purpose - only her tail remains with long fur, but it's fairly unkempt due to lack of time to properly care for it during the main story.

Blind in right eye due to a former work contract going wrong, uses glasses to take some load off of her left eye during work

Plantigrade, prefers to be barefoot though even if there are boots available for her to wear

Works together with Nathan for the Elliott Labratories (running errands, delivering dangerous substances/test containers/diseases etc.)

Valentine’s Day is stupid! This is the first thought that registers in your mind as you enter the JYP building and see a whole bunch of staff congratulate a couple who you figure got together today. Your pace quickens courtesy of another urging text from Chan lighting up your phone and you groan at his impatience.

Knocking on their practice room door, you patiently await the frisking process before entering it. Your eyebrows scrunch back in confusion when you don’t hear or see anything happen. You knock the second time and nothing! Weird!

Your eyes travel to your phone where the texts from your best friend have stopped coming too, you text him a quick and short sentence about the door not opening. You wait for some more moments before knocking for the third time, and your patience gets better as you twist the room handle.

To your surprise, it opens easily and your frown visibly. Your eyes stray around the dark room as you place your foot in and turn on your phone's flashlight. But before you can do that, the practice room lights up and you look up abruptly and gasp loudly at the banner hanging from the ceiling- “L/n y/n, will you be my valentine?”

“What the-" your voice trails off taking in the low lighting bouncing off the red walls of the room and traces over the rose petals on the floor.

“Will you be my valentine?” You scream in surprise at the voice behind you and turn to see Chan standing there with a box of chocolates and a bouquet of roses on the other hand.

“You like me?” you speak up, words stuttering a lot more than you would like them to and his dimples appear as he smiles saying, “Yes, idiot I do.”

You like Chan, in fact, you like him a lot, to the point where pining over him is painfully obvious to everyone else. But Chan could not know that because he is oblivious enough when it comes to you. Your confusion must have been visible on your face because Chan promptly answers, “I know because I caught you reading a fluff fanfiction the other day during our practice.” A short pose follows and he continues, “About me. And after that, it wasn’t tough to interpret.”

Your face falls, he laughs at your endearing expression, and you whisper, “How?” You are very careful while reading fan fiction and never slip up. Not that you are regretting it right now.

“Mirrors reflect your screen, love,” he smiles, his eyes crinkling into half-moons and you pout in realisation. You look up and suddenly get shy and overwhelmed. The flowers, chocolate, decorations and the day itself come rushing back to you and you realise your best friend has asked you out and you have kept him hanging for the last ten minutes.

“I,” your breath falters before you muster a weak and small, “Yes, I will be,” before happy tears roll down your cheeks. Great, now you are crying like the emotional shit you are.

“Oh baby, don’t cry,” Chan hugs you grinning lightly and placing a kiss on top of your head and you croak, “These are happy tears, Channie.” His laugh vibrates along his body making you happier in his warm embrace, you look up and smile through the glossy eyes and he whispers, “I am sorry it took me so much time to understand, I am so stupid.”

“That you are,” a laugh leaves your throat and he fakes an offended face making you laugh louder and he whispers, “Shut up.” “Make me,” you tease and he chuckles before encasing your lips into a sweet kiss.

He is beauty, he is grace. He is Lee Minho the menace. Why did you have to pair up with this reincarnation of the devil for a dance project? Your heavy pants echo in the room after you run the practice and look at the clock. Half an hour late!

You know very well he does this to rile you up on purpose because the said boy is the definition of punctuality. He just finds special interest in setting all your nerves on fire. You sigh in annoyance as you plop down on the floor. Scrolling through Instagram you double tap on the posts with every one of your friends posting something with their significant others.

Frankly, you were surprised when Minho asked you to practice with him today. It is Valentine’s Day and according to him his mood will be “sappy” and “tired from fourteenth wheeling his friends” so practising is much better. You have nothing better to do either so you decided to agree.

Which was clearly a mistake.

You scroll absentmindedly before opening up the fanfiction you had left the other day. Resting your head on the wall you put on your ear-pods and start reading. The scene is really cute and you can feel yourself gushing and squealing lightly at the cute behaviour of the leads.

Minho has been watching you quietly gush over it for the past ten minutes loving your giggles. He reads a few lines over your shoulder smiling to himself at the thought of you and him doing it. You seem to like nose kisses and light pecks a lot, he registers as he continues reading from your screen.

You have not seen he has come in and he is thankful as he slides beside you on the floor. You jump up as he rips off one of the ear-pods and slips it inside his ear. All this happens too fast and you squeak trying to hide your phone.

“Lee What the fuck?” you scream but he shrugs you try to snatch back your earpods but he holds your hand saying, “I love this song, finally something you listen to that doesn’t suck,” he grins in a sinister manner and your protest goes to deaf ears as the beats of ‘Let Me Move You’ enters your ears.

Sabrina’s voice fills your ear and Minho glides you to the dance floor in a modern pop couple dance. He twirls you around and you laugh at the cliché steps as he holds you from the back after spinning you. The mischievous smile works its way up on his month and you giggle at the little out-of-routine fun you two are having.

You feel your heart racing as his hands slide down your waist and spin you around he grins matching your smile as you circle your arms around his neck and dance matching the fast beats. The prelude comes and you sway gently and then tap your feet as Minho sings the lyrics lightly making his voice sing-song at the “one, two, three dance with me tonight” line.

Your style matches so well that it makes you feel feral. He really was a great dancer.

The song ends and Minho holds you as you two pant looking at the mirror. The air becomes tense and your heart beats loudly and you blabber out before you can stop yourself, “You have a sweet smile when you are not scowling,” and add, “Not that I see it often.”

Stop talking, your mind screams but you continue, “I don’t like it that much”, liar. Have you noticed him smiling? Yes, the whole ‘enemies’ issue was a huge cliché in your head, and a part of you did hope and pray you would end up like the book couples.

“Yeah I know, you stare at it quite often,” he shrugs nonchalantly and your expression falters in a millisecond yet he never takes his eyes off yours on the mirror and continues, “It is very cliché to like your so-called enemy.”

Your pupils dilate and he chuckles, his soft hair bristling from the cooler of the room and before you can react he spins you and looks at you. Your cheeks grow warm at his intense gaze before he says, “I like you back.”

Your attitude returns with new-found confidence and you reply, “Now who is cliché? Asking me out on Valentine’s Day.” His shoulders shake from the laugh and you grin liking the new dynamic of you two. He dips his head pressing a light kiss on your nose and says, “I am but I can make what you read come true so shh.”

You shyly giggle registering he had earlier caught you reading fluff and pecking his lip you tease him saying, “Don’t make me wait, Lee.”

You stifle a yawn as you struggle to stay awake after a tedious day at work. You curse inwardly at the universe for making you so single. Valentine’s Day and no one to come home to and curl up in their embrace was absolutely cruel however much you try to convince yourself it isn’t.

So when you hear your doorbell ring you are pretty much confused as to who it can be. The pizza you ordered five minutes ago cannot arrive that fast. Walking in your fluffy stickers you open the door and your eyes turn into saucers at the person in front of you.

Your neighbour Seo Changbin is standing there with a pair of CDs in his hand and some clothes in the other. Looking carefully you noticed he also had a single rose under his CDs.

“I know I am fine, but my hands are cramping, so let me in and then gawk all you want,” Changbin deadpans and you quietly let him in the confusion not clearing at all as to why he is here. Shouldn’t he be on a date with someone? Anyone?

“Why are you here?” you ask and he gives you a face before saying, “It is Wednesday, don’t tell me you forgot our ritual.” Your confusion only grows but you still take the rose as he hands it to you saying, “It is Valentine’s Day, I thought it would be rude to not at least bring a flower.”

“Thanks,” you take it, warmth filling your whole face and you look away. Even though he is being really casual about it, everything is just making butterflies flutter in your stomach. Your eyes fall on the CDs and you furrow your eyebrows and it finally hits you.

Oh. Oh.

Changbin, who apparently doesn’t have a date is here to spend his evening with you watching famous movies you haven’t watched before. You two started this ritual because you had randomly blurted it to him and his dramatic ass couldn’t handle you not seeing Mean Girls.

Since then every Wednesday you two watch one famous movie to “catch up” with the generation. You had initially rolled your eyes at his proposal but movie nights with Changbin became better as months went by.

“Don’t think too much and go put these on,” Changbin’s voice cuts in your thoughts and you look down to see pyjamas being handed to you. You don’t question him too much as you go inside and put it on. One thing you have learned is never to question Changbin.

Unless you want to hear a lecture.

You come out and your eyes widen as you realise why he told you to wear those. They were matching pyjamas. Oh. Your body warms up again as you realise you are now wearing matching pyjamas. Like a couple. Watching a movie. On Valentine’s Day. Like a couple.

You throw all thoughts about Changbin liking you behind your mind, he is a friend who helps you out and he is doing the same today. It is nothing much but your beating heart and crush on Changbin fails to live up to your convincement.

You walk towards the couch and watch his muscles flex as he brings the remote and turns on a movie called ‘10 Things I Hate About You’.

Like every other day he turns on the movie but unlike every other day, you find it very hard to focus when there is a whole zoo in your stomach. Just the mere thought of Changbin, who can get any date, spending Valentine’s Day with you is making you go feral. His head whips towards you as soon as you turn towards the screen.

It was a kiss scene. Oh.

You turn your head back to him and find him staring at you with a fiery intensity that you have never seen before. This is new, you think but you don’t miss the way his gaze obviously lingers on your lips before it moves up to your eyes. The air thickens and you hold your breath in mere anticipation.

So it is not only you. The roses and the pyjamas make so much more sense now.

“Changbin, if you want to do it, do it, do it, before we both start to regret it,” you whisper and the last part almost dies in your mouth as he presses his lips to yours. You fist his shirt as his hand caresses your cheek in the soft kiss and you can feel all the unspoken emotion and tension from the past few months.

Heck if you two weren’t so oblivious.

“I have always wanted to do this,” Changbin says, breathless as his lips hover over yours and your eyes hold his gaze and you whisper, “Me too.” He breaks into a grin and you smile lightly running your hands through his hair before he pushes you to the couch kissing you feverishly and the movie long forgotten.

Your lips protrude in despair of your single life as you lean back on your chair and flip through the pages in your phone reading how much one of the leads works throughout Valentine’s Week to get the other lead.

“If you keep reading and sighing you will never get one in real life,” you jump up at Hyunjin’s voice and take a deep breath before deadpanning him. “Shut up,” you tell him and he raises an eyebrow settling down beside you as soon as the bell for first period rings.

The next day your eyes bulge in surprise as a single rose rests inside your locker. You pick it up and see the note attached to it- starting off slow a bit ;).

You narrow your eyes a little at the note and the rose and rack your head for anyone who likes you. The confusion rises when you don’t remember anyone and you suddenly wish it isn’t a prank. You keep the rose inside your bag and the note neatly in your back pocket. Sitting down, you see Hyunjin skip his steps and sit beside you casually whistling and you look at him.

“I got a rose today,” you trail off and he nods saying, “Good to know.”

“No Hyunjin, you don’t get it, what if this is a prank?” you whisper looking around to see if anyone is looking at you two and laughing at your stance. A chuckle escapes his throat as he looks at you saying, “It isn’t a prank.”

You scan his face and tilt your head and Hyunjin quickly amends, “I think.” You shake your head as the teacher enters, still feeling a little down about letting your intrusive thoughts win making you think it is Hyunjin.

The next day you deflate a little seeing nothing inside even though you are vaguely aware it is Propose Day and sigh lightly knowing I might well have just been a prank. Hyunjin seems surprisingly calm about the whole situation, any other time he would have made a whole deal about this and even though it irks you, you brush it off hating the dread in your stomach.

You are proved wrong when you find a box of chocolates the next day, with a note saying- Sorry can’t propose just yet. I hate your sad face, never make it again :(

You open the box hurriedly finding a mix of all kinds of your favourite chocolates and you look in the box, a custom-made one for gifts. Your heart warms at how thoughtful your secret admirer is and how whoever they are, is aware of your preferences. You open the wrap of one and pop it in your mouth, melting at the taste.

The next day you open your locker in anticipation and find a medium-sized teddy inside. Whispers of envy and awe pass through the hall as you lean on the door and read the note- My broke ass could only afford that, sorry. Forgive me?

You scrunch your nose at the cute tone of the letter and you whisper to yourself, “Of course I forgive you.” You skip your steps happily entering your class and see Hyunjin already there doing something with his camera. You stare at him unintentionally, eyes tracing over his flawless features and then feel guilty.

Obviously, someone else is trying to court you now, and you are still hanging over him, your childhood friend. You shake your head again as your mind fills with the possibility of the secret admirer being Hyunjin. No, he cannot be, he hardly seems interested whenever you talk to him about the gifts.

The next three days pass in a blur as your secret admirer makes up for the kiss and hug as a promise for later and you can’t help but feel giddy when Valentine’s Day comes. You try your best to not run to your locker but you end up speed-walking and open it quickly. Your eyes light up at another note from your admirer and you pick it up and read it.

Your brows furrow in confusion at the location mentioned as it was a park you used to go to when you were a kid. With Hyunjin, your mind registers and you push the voice to the back of your mind. Nevertheless, your secret admirer has told you to visit the spot so you will be right at the time mentioned.

The day feels extremely slow and boring and you run out of school when the bell rings. Hyunjin comes out too from his art class with the tube hanging from his shoulders and you hurry him up.

“Geez, what is with the enthusiasm?” he chuckles and you roll your eyes saying, “You would know if you ever listened to me.”

“Listen to you ranting about a person who is head over heels in love with you? I will do it soon,” he smiles and is met with another eye-roll from you as you two start walking. The walk is silent as your mind wanders over a few options on who can ask you out. There was Jongho from music class, Jungmo from Chemistry, Soobin from History, and Han the class president. No, he is after that girl named Alexa.

“Penny for your thoughts?” Hyunjin’s voice snaps you out of your trance but you reply without missing a beat, “A million won and I might tell you something.”

He lets out a light laugh and says, “We are at the place your secret admirer asked you to meet. You get surprised looking around and then the real question comes to your mind- how did Hyunjin know where you were asked to meet?

He can’t know because you didn’t tell him, unless…he is the secret admirer. Your head whips towards his direction and gasp loudly when you see the same paper in his hands. The paper in which the notes were sent.

“Hyunjin oh,” your voice dies down in your throat as you hold it up and a small whimper of emotion leaves your mouth. You open the paper and read the note- We used to play here and I have loved you since the time I knew what love was. Happy Valentine’s y/n

“You- you are, oh my,” your words stumble over and Hyunjin bites his lips smiling at you and you feel the warmth all over your beating heart. It spreads down your body and you find yourself dizzying from the rush of emotions.

“I like you, y/n,” Hyunjin speaks softly and his nose scrunches, his eyes turning into half-moons and he holds you as you look at him with adoration. “I like you too,” you stutter out and he giggles hugging you tighter.

“Now, how about the days we missed?” he speaks softly and you kick him lightly and his giggles tune-up to a full-blown laugh. Just like old times.

royal AU! forbidden lovers now playing: fool’s gold by one direction

The evening sun lights up the sky in hues of golden and red and you sit on the grass in the royal garden opening your book. Being a general for the royal army wasn’t easy, especially for the commander-in-chief. So the breaks you get are the most cherished and thus you prefer to spend them in the garden instead of your quarters.

The peace and quiet, the smell of the flowers, the light buzzing of the bees and the warmth of the sun feel absolutely wonderful as you turn the pages of the book. You giggle lightly at the cute scenes of the romantic novel you are reading and smile when you read about how the leads are absolutely smitten with each other.

“Do not let our enemies see the general giggling like that over a romantic novel,” you turn your head at the familiar voice and raise your eyebrows saying, “Your Highness.”

“How many times have I told you to call me Sungie?” he pouts and you bite your lips restraining your hands from poking his cheeks. He adjusts his hanbok as he sits down and you keep the book beside you to read for later. Right now you have a big baby to attend you. You turn to him and see a pout already adorning his face from the lack of attention.

“What are you doing here, Your Highness?” you ask and he grins, his eyes lighting up as he holds out a flower to you and your eyes widen. “Han, don’t-" You cannot complete your sentence as he puts a finger on your lips and shushes you. You stare at him with parted lips and sigh again.

You cannot be doing this.

He is of royal blood and you are a mere commoner. It doesn’t matter if you are a high-ranking official or not at the end of the day you are not from any kind of royal blood. Heck, the only royal blood you have ever gotten is from killing or hurting royals.

“Since you aren’t saying anything, I will take that as my cue,” you hear him say and before you can protest he gently tucks the flower in your hair.

Your eyes betray every emotion you are feeling when you look at him but Han’s bright smile doesn’t fade as he starts to animatedly tell you how his day went. Apparently, his new History teacher is so boring he fell asleep three times during the class. All while he is talking, you silently listen, your eyes shining with adoration at his enthusiasm.

“Do you know today is what day?” he asks suddenly and you nod. You are aware of different cultures and you read books which doesn’t qualify you as illiterate but Han still asks to be sure.

“You should not be spending it with me Sungie,” you voice out softly and Han lets out a dry chuckle looking away. He doesn’t care, heck he will spend every single Valentine’s Day with you. The rule is to marry a royal blood, there is no rule that it is compulsory to marry.

He will happily stay single his whole life if it means he can spend every day and every night with you.

“I know what you are thinking, but someday you have to see your suitors,” you smile without emotion and just the mere thought of it brings tears to your eyes. How many days have you spent thinking about what will happen when Han finally finds his suitor?

They will marry, that is what will happen.

Han holds your hand and you look at him and he says, “We should run away.” A laugh of disbelief rings through your throat and his mischievous smile returns as soon as he sees you double over in pure and unfiltered laugh at his ridiculous idea.

“That’s how I like you, smiling, for me,” he tilts his head watching you in adoration and you giggle, leaning over to his body and he engulfs you in his arms. Your breath hitches in your throat as you look up and Han does something you have always dreaded and wished at the same time.

“Will you be my Valentine?” he asks and you nod. You know this is wrong, you know you shouldn’t fall for him but when the grin breaks out in his face and you hear his laugh for your affirmation you realise you have never loved anyone more.

And when his sweet lips encase yours you forget every obstacle that will be arising from this blossoming relationship. After all, you can just always run away.

Lee Felix Yongbok. The name that is the reason of your doom.

You look at him, your mouth agape as he plays the game in front of him for the thousandth time and still loses. You don’t even know why he is here, your brother left more than half an hour ago with his date. You have been stuck watching him gaming because it is so amusing.

Felix has always been bad at games and it is no secret. It is not like your brother or his other friends were great but watching Felix play a game was more fun than watching a comedy series. Speaking of him, he throws the controller down, a string of colourful curses leaving his mouth.

You had enough.

Sure he looks hot while cursing, and sure his arms flexing as he presses the controls makes you want to do unnameable things to him, or let him do to you, whichever works, and sure his blonde hair makes you want to run your hand over them while you press light kisses over his face, but you finally had enough.

You sign in annoyance when he picks up the controller again and you snatch it out of his hand, yanking open the cable from the plug point and look at him. He smiles brightly when he sees your grimacing face and jokes, “Come on grumpy don’t glare at me like that.”

“First, Jisung left over an hour ago, so what the hell are you doing here?” you hold up your hand when he opens his mouth to speak and then continue, “Second, it is Valentine’s Day, don’t you have anything better to do than play LoL? And thirdly, Felix give up god you are bad at gaming.”

He pouts and you roll your eyes at him. Everyone in your brother’s friend circle how straightforward you are. Jisung has tried to set you up with Felix because according to him you are in desperate need of some “sunshine” in your life.

Fuck him and his sunshine.

He is the reason anyway you think about Felix so much and develop a crush on him. It is purely because of him you think about Felix and whenever he is around you smile, feel like a thousand fireworks going off when he smiles, and do pathetic things like singing love songs in the shower and dancing in front of the mirror.

All the more reason to hate Han Jisung.

“I am spending the day with you, aren’t I?” Felix winks and you gasp at his answer. He casually gets up and you look behind as he pours himself a glass of water and you close your eyes calming yourself. You cannot be more delusional about his casual flirting than you already are.

He walks off to Jisung’s room and you exhale, hating for even being born. The way his words have set your whole face on fire should be researched. Hell Felix can graze his hands casually and you will be firing up for no reason. You open your phone in frustration and scroll until you find a fluff fanfiction you feel like reading.

The reader kisses the person’s freckles.

Cringe.

You will definitely read it.

And do it to Felix, your mind screams and you want nothing more than to punch your mind. You keep reading trying to focus on the story and not think how it is so fitting with Felix.

“For someone always scowling you like reading stuff that makes normal people giggle,” a deep voice interrupts your reading and you jump as Felix slides beside you, still grinning. You hate yourself for how your eyes instantly dropped to his freckles. They looked like stars littered along his cheekbones and you would want nothing more than pressing kisses all over them.

Stop it.

You force yourself to look into his eyes and it doesn’t help a lot since they look like a whole galaxy of stars. How can someone’s eyes hold so much adoration and spark?

“Why are you looking at my freckles?” he chuckles but you can sense the tinge of insecurity behind it and the answer rolls off your lips before you can stop yourself, “If I was yours I would just spend the day kissing them.”

Your eyes widen and you want the ground to swallow you whole while Felix's loud laugh fills the room. You look at him and the way his nose scrunches and soft hair falls on his lashes as he continues laughing and asks, “Is that a line from the thing you were reading?”

“No, stop it,” you whine and your ears, heck, your whole body feels on fire as you look at Felix who is smiling and looking at you. “You say that but you look at me like this,” you pout and it takes all of his strength to not press his lips to yours right then and there.

“Like what?” he asks and you glare half-heartedly but he continues, “If you mean like I am head over heels for you, then yes, I do look at you like that.”

Your breath gets stuck in your throat and you don’t trust your voice too much but you blabber out, “Don’t ask me out on Valentine’s, that’s cliché as hell.”

“I can do all kinds of cliché things for you though,” Felix’s smiles brighten and you feel your heart beating at an unhealthy rate. Is this a heart attack? Will you die now? But his next sentence almost make you pass out if he was not holding you.

His breath mingles with yours as he asks with his lips inches away from yours, “Kissing on Valentine’s is a bit cliché too right?”

You put on your earphones and sit down on the couch reading the latest update on fanfiction from your favourite author. You place the cup of hot coffee on the table beside and get comfortable on the couch. You check the time on your phone and realise it is still some hours till Seungmin comes home from his practice.

With your lack of a date for Valentine’s, you have decided reading is the best way to solve all your wanted desires and cute scenarios while Seungmin, who claims he also had a lack of date (he didn’t, you literally saw him rejecting people) will be at vocal practice with his friend Jeongin.

You giggle when you read the fluffy scenes, kicking your feet and giggling to your heart’s content. You do not notice Seungmin returning at all and he understands that when you don’t reply when he calls your name. Seungmin runs a hand through his hair as he enters and his confused gaze falls over you sprawling on the couch.

He chuckles at how cute you are behaving and how cute you look in the oversized hoodie. He places his practice bag down, walks behind you and looks at your screen loving how oblivious of his presence. His mischievous side acts up and he starts reading loudly from the line he can see, “He places a soft kiss on the forehead, then traces them down the yes, and the nose, to the lips of-���

Your eyes open wide in shock and you jerk up and three incidents happen at the same time- you scream at Seungmin, one of your earpods falls off and the coffee in your hand spills over your clothes and hand.

You hiss at the burning sensations on your palm and thumb and Seungmin’s eyes widen as he pulls you by your hand. “Min what?” you ask confusedly as he sprints with you to the kitchen sink and throws your hand under the cold water. You look at him in shock, unable to process how quickly the situation escalated.

“Oh my god, I am so sorry,” he murmurs and his fingers run over your burnt area under the water. Well almost-burnt. The coffee wasn’t that hot and it would not even escalate to a first-degree burn.

“Min, hello to you too,” you joke and he grimaces upset at himself for causing such a situation. You open your mouth to say you are fine but he shushes you and makes you sit on the kitchen counter. He brings down the first-aid box and slightly blows on the region. The action releases a whole cage of butterflies in your stomach and his concerned face over a little harm makes your heart tighten.

“I am sorry, I didn’t mean-“ his sentences is interrupted as you put your finger over his lips and say what you have been trying to say for the last fifteen minutes, “Minnie, I am fine.”

“Are you sure? I think we need to give some more ice,” he murmurs but before he can drift away, again, you pull him by his arms against your body. Seungmin stumbles over his feet and you giggle at his confused puppy behaviour before repeating your sentence, “Minnie, I swear I am fine.”

“Okay,” he complies and you laugh before saying, “You are too cute trying to take care of me, you know?” His nose scrunches and he puts his arms around your waist and murmurs, “I don’t want you getting hurt.”

His tugs lightly on your waist and you tip forward getting close to him and your breath hitches at the proximity. His caramel eyes look so beautiful up close that you never want to look away. You can get lost in his eyes. Literally.

“Don’t look at me like that,” he whispers, the tension thickening as his body presses to yours and warmth spreads over your cheek but you whisper back, “Like what?”

“Like you want to never let me go,” he says and his breath fans your face as you make out the little details of his face. His hold tightens around your waist and you find yourself replying, “Maybe I don’t.”

His eyes roam over your features and land on your lips and that gives you the courage to lean in. Seungmin takes the cue and presses his lips to yours in a sweet kiss. You hum kissing him back as you feel him smiling through the kiss. Your lips move together perfectly just like they fit like two missing puzzle pieces.

Seungmin’s hands caress your waist and you fist his shirt lightly and when you finally pull back a big grin breaks along his face making you laugh along. You sway lightly in his arms and a teasing smile reaches your lips as you ask the cringiest question existing to mankind.

“How about you kiss my wound better too?”

What is better than working after-hours on Valentine’s Day? Absolutely fucking nothing. You sigh at your unfortunate state and continue typing on the computer finishing up the last slide for your colleague’s presentation who has clocked off as it was Valentine’s.

It was just two slides but you being the perfectionist you were couldn’t just leave it like that and thus completed it fully. After you are finished you huff and lean back on the chair. The creaking noise echoes in the empty office and you look around. Your desk was comparatively closer to the glass window of the building.

That is now giving you the perfect view of the streets decorated with pink and red fairy lights and the couples walking below. The street is buzzing with love and it is making you feel lonely. Another year, another day, you think. It will pass.

Swiping open your phone you quietly check through your notifications, most of them your work emails or bank account reports and sighing you clear them out. You swipe up a few notifications from your friends and some garbage notifications like the weather.

What the hell are you going to do with knowing the weather at eight in the night!

Your eyes fall over a particular notification- the update of a book chapter you have been waiting for. You eye the office once again. Alone. Swivelling in your chair you open your work computer and login through your account in Incognito. Nothing better than reading on a big screen.

You lean back satisfied and read it feeling giddy at the scenes the author has written. The kisses and the hugs are so satisfactorily written you feel literal butterflies reading them.

“Reading stories on a work computer, should I be reporting this?” you jerk up at the familiar voice and are instantly met with a pair of foxlike eyes. His mouth presses together trying to suppress a smile as you tried to hurriedly close the tab in the computer.

When you are done you take a long breath and look towards him and ask, “What are you doing here?” An amused smile reaches his lips but he answers nevertheless, “Came to take some files.” You nod your head but can’t look away from his face. The low light of the office casts a warm glow on his defined cheekbones and a light shade on his dyed caramel hair.

It is not like you and Jeongin were friends, but you weren’t acquaintances either. You two were somewhere in between and given his bright smile and even brighter personality nobody can hate him.

“Don’t you have a date?” Jeongin asks casually still holding onto your gaze and you chuckle shaking your head. Your love life is basically DOA. He sighs in relief unknowingly and before he can stop himself he continues, “Do you want to catch up with dinner?”

You whip your head towards him so fast that he stutters and blabbers, “I mean not today if you are busy, someday later or we can forget I said it.”

Did Yang Jeongin, the man who works in an office with his prim and proper attire, wears glasses, but dyes his hair for style and is the eye candy of more than half the office, ask you out on a date?

“Today’s fine,” you blurt out and you see the red blush spread from his nose to his cheeks. You are sure you are blushing too and you look away trying to arrange the already-made files. Jeongin stutters out an okay and keeps quiet, the awkward silence hanging as you quickly tidy up.

Ten minutes and an awkward elevator ride later you and Jeongin are walking down the decorated streets and attempting small talk which gradually are beginning to loosen you two up. You talk about your favourites and he talks about his own funny incidents, mostly with his older brother Minho.

You two enter a bar and order a drink each simply sitting down. By the time your drinks arrive the loud tempo has reduced to a slow song and you gasp in shock. This is your favourite song. You look at Jeongin who sips on his drink slightly, his glasses resting a little low on his nose and messy hair sprawling over his forehead.

One drink cannot make you tipsy but you blame it on the drink anyway when you ask, “Do you want to dance to this?” If Jeongin is surprised by the request, he doesn’t show it and nods, a small smile creasing up his cheeks.

He takes your hand and you twirl around the dance floor. Feeling a little bolder you circle your arms around his neck and sway to the beats of the song. All the time Jeongin never takes his eyes off yours and you feel yourself flustering under his intense gaze. His eyes trace your features and linger lightly on your lips before returning to your eyes.

The moment is so intense it makes you light-headed and his musky deodorant infiltrating your senses didn’t help at all. As the song finishes, Jeongin is unable to look away but he lets go reluctantly.

You miss his warm flush against your skin already but it returns as soon as he says, “If you don’t mind, do you want to catch a proper dinner tomorrow?”

Okay, but this episode is kinda about how AUs can be fascinating and intersting.

With multiverse craze you can see when the people make mutliverse story out of love and when they do it just because it seems the big fad now. For example, I find Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths the multiverse story made out of love, because there is a lot of love for DC TV and movies in this crossover, but what I've heard from people who watched The Flash with Ezra Miller, the cameos from various versions of Superman and Supergirl felt forced at best and disrespectful the worst.

But why do we like reading and watching AUs? The AU operates on at least rudimentary knowledge of the characters and setting the alternative reality of we see. We have to understand, on some level, who these people are and how they operate, and the Alternative Reality has factors that influence them and that's why they may be different. That's the most interesting thing about AUs: how characters XYZ would be like in reality that such and such happened or if they were put in setting such as steampunk, high school, coffe shop etc."

In William Boimler's crew we can observe it. We can see Curzon Dax who never mentored Jadzia and never gave symbiote to her, and now being very reckless; Elim Garak who chose to become a doctor and not a spy and found love with EMH!Bahir who was made, probably because OG!Bashir's genetic enhancements were never discovered by Lewis Zimmerman; we get T'Pol who got to have a happy marriage with Trip Tucker because he didn't die in the ENT finale, and we got whole bunch of Harrys Kims, one of them actually promoted. They're technically similar to their counterparts in main timeline, but there are also changes in their attitude made by their life choices.

And the talk with Lily Sloane also highlights certain problem that arises with how Star Trek deals with multiverse, in my opinion. Mainly, that up to this point Star Trek seemed to explore mostly the dark or tragic timelines (Mirrorverse, of course, but also Yesterday's Enterprise or that bad future in S2 of Star Trek: Picard), but not the ones where humanity was in better shape. That's why Lily Sloane talks about how mulitidimensial travels made her understand herself and humanity better: she didn't see dark timelines of humanity but our great potential. Moreover, she even pointed out that there are relationships that transcend time and space, and we saw it with Boimler and Mariner but also with OG!Chakotay and Mirror!Janaway in Prodigy, or OG!Spock with Kelvin!Kirk.

Really, Fissure Quest is great in that regard. It reminds us why AUs can be great as a plot device and character study.

Okay! I need to make this post just for myself really but I need to type up how I imagine everyone gets on this this au I have going on. So, if you are curious or interested I get ready for a lot of text.

Freights

I'm gonna start off with Hermes because that's my oc I want to focus on. Though he identifies as a Freight since he hauls weight like the others, he's also a Coach. Turns out TPO (traveling post office) are a kind of Coach since they can carry people. So, his main parent is the OG Belle, with Break Van and Caboose being his older brothers (who are in the same boat of identification to him in my mind). Break Van being the most mature, and responsible of the group. CB is the one who will always support you, but he can be a bit... Intense at times. He also has two older sisters, Slick and Wembley Belle. Slick is more of a "sister" by how close she is to CB and BV in terms of interest, but still a sister since she pranks like one. Wembley Belle was adopted by OG Belle since she's the Sleeper with the most experience to raise another Sleeper. While Hermes is the baby of the group since Slick is just a bit younger than CB, and Belle is a bit older than he is.

On the side of the Freights and Steamers, it's not as complicated I would say. The McCoys (yes plural), are parental figures to him like how they are parents to every one in their yard. All the Freights being the older brothers and sisters to Hermes. The eldest two being Flattop and Dustin, both big hearts but the silliest guys you'll meet who will always make sure you're okay. Lumber is older than Porter by about a year or so, newer to the yard... He and Porter are definitely together. Porter has been here longer and kinda apprenticing under Dustin, really nice guy, bit of a flirt. Rusty is seen as the favourite since he's the only other Steamer here, but that puts more stress on him since he's the youngest engine around. Meaning he has to take on more responsibilities to look after everyone as the McCoys slow down to retire. Next up Hydra, the only thing I can say about them is their special interest is water and tries to drag anyone who'll listen to talk about or see whatever water based thing is on their mind.

Rockies and the Hip Hoppers aren't the same here. The Rockies are quadruplets, with one being the sister of the group. You will never find these four apart, always hanging out together, usually rough housing or spray painting any surface they find, including each other. While the Hip Hoppers I'm making triplets but girls, since we need more female Freights. The three of them if they aren't trying to start something with the Rockies, they are either break dancing non stop or trying to host a party without permission.

Coaches

The eldest of the Coaches are Og Belle, followed by Ashley and Carrie. OG Belle is the eldest and has most interactions with Ashley and Carrie since they've almost been around as long as she have. They know about her past life, they don't judge her for it they know she's a really sweetheart who always does what's best. The three of them are friends, hanging out as the "Wine Aunts", constantly gossiping, drinking and having a grand ol'time. They'll never talk about the whole history of their lives together, but people think they are a polygamous group of lesbians... Honestly, Ashley and Carrie don't help it by telling everyone conflicting stories.

Next up is Buffy and the eldest Dinah, Buffy was raised by Ashley and Carrie finding friends with og Dinah. These girls gained enough experience growing up that they own a dinar together that they run. Buffy being mainly in the back since she has no patience for the customers unless they get rowdy and lets her be a bit more... Aggressive. Dinah, Southern belle sweetheart who will always smile at you. Primarily works at the front taking orders, and is the main chef when it comes to dealing with food that needs changing in any way for dietary restrictions.

We have two other Dinahs, red Dinah and Wembley Dinah both working with their big sister. Red Dinah is the middle child of the group, she's a lot more flirtatious and friendly than her sisters and works mainly as a waitress. Knows how to set her boundaries clearly, putting her foot down for herself and others... Unless she's in love and all red flags are out of sight and mind. Wembley Dinah (Panto Dinah as I call her), loyal, the most colourful, sassy... And dramatic. If she isn't sassing, she is being dramatic about anything and everything. However, unlike her sisters she can at least recognise a red flag and is more cautious about going forward with the red flag.

Tassita is a trans woman to me. I didn't know the actor who played Tass was a guy until later on, so they are now a trans woman in my universe. Which they get to shush anyone - Diesels - who tries to ask about it, or be rude. She shuts them down before they can get anywhere and they're the ones who end up mad not her. Wembley Belle is best friends with Tass, which is honestly a good pairing. Tass can look after Belle whenever she falls asleep and keeps anyone from waking them up. I would not be surprised if these two got together or are already together and haven't told anyone.

Pearl is the youngest, she has been taken in by Ashley and Buffy which is honestly a good thing. Those two have plenty of experience to share with her so Pearl can actually learn what to do and how things work in this world. While Buffy being the older protective sister just seems fitting to me.

I know I haven't talked about Belle the Bar car, Duvay or the two extra Sleeper cars but I need to do more research on them before I can talk about them.

Diesels

Starting off with the Greaseballs, we have the Og, middle and fem. Og Greaseball came from the South like Dinah, but not from the same place. Before he became a racer he mainly worked on engines because it's something he liked to do. He liked to tinker with them, understanding how they worked and how he could improve them. It was probably the only way he could learn, eventually leading to him messing with his own engine that allowed him to become a racer. Becoming famous enough he made friends with Tank, Lube and Gear (I can't really talk about them either, I need to research them more). That eventually lead him to meeting OG Dinah. She fell first, he fell harder... He was not the best to her but once the crash happened and he met the Starlight, he became a himbo... No I won't explain how that works.

Though upon treating Dinah like the queen she should be treated as, the Starlight tested his patience by giving him two younger siblings. The middle GB isn't as muscular as his brother or sister, but he has the best looks (at least in his own opinion). The biggest inflated ego around, constantly flaunting himself off. This behaviour though really bothers Fem GB, enough to the point they bicker until they fight... Which he will lose to her if it gets to that point, or until OG GB pulls them apart. Fem GB on the other hand is a big gym rat, always working out... And getting into scraps with her Diesel or anyone who makes her mad. These two will always make their big bro hate that he used to act like them both.

Wembley Diesels... Oh boy they are definitely something. Golden Eagle is seen as the leader of the group, despite that he's always peacocking around trying to start a fight with anyone who looks at him the wrong way. On a good day though, this femboy in his free time likes to learn how to dance, it's just fun to him. Never let him try to teach you unless you want to be yelled at or shown up. Silver Bullet is the actual leader, they're more quiet and reserved but knows when to step in to keep the group in line. It makes the others call her Sheriff just because every time she steps in it's the most dramatic time. Green Arrow is the biggest bully of the group, trying to fight everyone just because he wants to be respected and he loves to tease anyone. Both he and Silver have a... Competitive nature together trying to figure out who is better.

Blue Lightning is the gamer of the group, she loves to just lay back and play any game she can get her hands on or connect to. Her competitive nature however even affects her game play. If she was to lose in any sense, she gets so upset that she ends up sparking with electricity that she overloads the game and crashing it. Finally Orange Flash, the baby of the five, never taken seriously and always yells for attention. If that doesn't work? Flash has modified their skates to release small fireworks on command to create a scene or entrance. Definitely eye catching... Definitely annoying to the others if a spark catches their clothes.

Electrics

Electra, every gender at once drag queen, fashion icon, rich kid... And secret gamer. They hate to go slow, take it easy they have to do something to keep them happy. Be that racing, adored in any sense, or trying out different games to see what is popular. Before they were a racer though, they did not like their family. All of them act and think similarly to Electra, which is why they expect to get everything they want. They just couldn't handle the easy back life style of the rest of them, it was just frustrating. Their family gave them their full support... Under the condition that if they ever loose or need their ego saved, they must return home to stay where it's safe. Yeah, they never went back and prefer the found family they have.

Purse was the first to be join Electra, being the one who basically grew up alongside them and tried to teach them how to use money wisely. Those lessons never stuck, so Purse was kinda forced to stay with them to make sure they never ran themselves into debt. Plus, they also knew what Electra's family was like and even they didn't want to go back to those. The stress it was for both of them to be perfect was enough of a reason to leave long before they did.

Bolt is next - from Starlight on Ice - not much is actually known about them, so I'm just guessing here. But, based on name alone Bolt is essentialy the battery truck to Electra, the same way Dustin, Porter, Lumber and Hyrda are to the Steamers. Non stop energy and friendly energy, who can run themselves ragged if they over does it or overheats. If they get to the point of passing out, they just have to drag then them to the nearest charging point to wake them up again.

Killerwatt and Krupp came as a pair, simply because Purse knew that they could protect themselves and Electra, but trying to deal with Bolt, and keeping them all alive they needed that extra help. Killerwatt is the main guard always on alert, and staying up late to work just because they have a bad feeling about something. Making him constantly tried, and a bit trigger happy with his tazers at time. Krupp is a bit more relaxed than Killerwatt, though not by much. He mainly just does what he's told in the exact order he was told to do it. Carrying supplies on his back he can't reach, but ones Killerwatt can reach to use instead. Sometimes the two look at Purse and wonder why they're staring at them so much.

Wrench was the next to join the group as the last to join Electra asked for, and again Purse knew the chaos that would come from that, so they needed a medic. Wrench, best medic they could afford and no nonsense, not putting up with Electra when they're being overdramatic or throwing a tantrum... She's a blessing to the group. Her only fault is that when she gets too stressed or frustrated she ends up throwing things about. Sometimes at others if that person was the reason she became so frustrated.

Volta, in a relationship with Joules, the two of them are a constant gossip together. Always chatting up a storm, flirting or judging others because that's what they like to do. How they work together no one knows, Volta is more quiet compared to her partner, and stays out of the chaos Joules makes. Though, she has her limits and when they're pushed she'll always enter what the group calls "mother mode". Fussing and talking to anyone like a child as she scolds them, it doesn't matter how old that person is, she'll do it and it works. It never works on Joules though, but Joules does tease her about it.

Joules, the most controlled chaos of the group when compared to Bolt. She won't make chaos on a whim, it's always well thought out which scares anyone around her who isn't Volta. Loud, in your face, but extremely sweet to anyone she bounds with. Just be careful that she doesn't drag you onto whatever she's doing, be that anything to do with dynamite, an argument or even a fight. Yet, Volta somehow is able to disable her need to make something explode with a simple no. They're an odd pair, but they work.

Zombie Apocalypse AU Character Stuff!

Im still on this so here we go.

Here is general character stuff! Some appearance stuff but mostly character. Some appearance specifics at the end though!

Charles Xavier. Age 30. 

Charles is the main POV 1. He is your typical Xavier in FC. Witty and charming but a deeply caring person. He’s out of his depth with travelling, he grew up rich as hell, remember, and I imagine that his appearance will slowly become more and more like DOFP Charles esc

His character arc is very much acting as a shepherd to everyone he meets but also struggling with the violence of the world and his reluctance to use his powers offensively. He acts as a guide for most of the people he comes across and is just trying to do right. This relation is seen most obviously with Alex, Jean, and Logan. Obviously he has a whole thing with getting close with Erik because they have the shared trait of caretaking but opposite views of violence. 

Erik Lensherr. Age 33

Main POV 2. FC/Apocalypse typical Erik. Closed off and harsh but he has a deep care for those closest to him. In my head he’s just typical Erik appearance, nothing crazy from the apocalypse.

He is just fine with all the travelling  but has much more issues with wrangling children. His tendency for violence is constantly getting interrupted by all the people he has to deal with. His big arc is definitely just calming down and letting himself relax in this crazy world. 

Raven Darkholme. Age 27.

She’s lowkey more of a mix between OG trilogy Raven and NewTrilogy Raven. Serving cunt at all times even though it's the apocalypse. She is usually in her true blue form but shifts whenever there are others around they don’t know/trust. 

Raven starts off this au Very snobby and selfish. She doesn’t care about any of this, she doesn’t want to travel with anyone but Charles. Overtime she will get out of this. Mostly thanks to the kids. Ultimately culminating in her self sacrifice for them.

Alex Summers. Age 21

FC typical appearance but his hair is getting longer and longer. Alex is really a first half character but he’s still important. He’s overprotective of his brother and trying to do whats best. A lot of it is just finding himself and doing what’s right. Lot of his bonding is with Raven. His decision to stay with FC hurts but he’s doing what he wants. Keeping Scott safe and finding a place they can call home together.

Logan Howlett, Age ???

Typical scruffy scruffy Wolverine. So mad, like genuinely he is pissed at everyone except Kurt, Jubilee and Kitty. He’s basically having to be re-civilized since he’s been thriving as a crazy wilderness man again. However he’s having to relax and keep going for the girls. The people who set him on the right path are Cherik + Kurt. Kurt is basically Logan’s common sense buddy. 

Kurt Wagner. Age 24. 

Blue elf! Some other things that are for later. Kurt is weirdly normal for being here. He’s kind of an anchor that helps all these highly emotional people. He’s mainly just trying to keep the people he loves safe. He’s careful with the kids and gentle with the adults. Honestly helping people is his main thing. 

Wanda and Peter. Age 11.

Wanda has dark dark curly red hair and is a spitfire child. Peter has typical silvery white hair and is going too fast all the time. They are a handful, two halves a whole. Wanda is quieter and more polite but she is Mean in the way all preteens are mean. Peter is loud and unruly but he means well. They’re only big conflict/character moment is at the facility where they’re fighting and Peter lets them do the tests on him first so they could practice and maybe wouldn’t have to go so deep because he could “heal fast itll be fine”. Just trying to live their lives,

Scott Summers.  Age 14.

Ima be honest, he is primarily a plot device for Alex and Charles. He’s just wants his life back and to help him brother. He does have a tiny crush on Jean tho, its sweet and silly and reminds the elders that life is going on despite the horrors. 

Jean Grey. Age 15.

Oh poor girly. She's been through it!!! Her arc is learning not to blame herself for everything. Mainly through the help of Cherik and Wanda she accepts that it’s not her fault. She’s terrified of her powers and of accidentally hurting someone again. Unlike most telepaths, she has minor control over infected people due to being the originator of it all. Unfortunately it’s not very strong and she freaks every time she tries.

Not gonna go into depth but! At some point they do run into Rouge and Remy. In this interaction we learn Remy is bit but they’re hiding it and uh… A Lot Happens that day. Lemme know if you wanna know more! 

Appearance Tidbits

Long hair Raven, I mean everyone’s hair has grown out a bit but like LONG hair raven because I said so. 

Kurt has some major scarring he obtained when he and Logan got caught in a massive brawl of survivors in the city they were passing. His teleportation worked but it was impossible to see where he was going. He got them out but with Logan's claws in him and very cut up. He’s pretty banged up, looks very much like he’s been through hell but stays relentlessly kind.

Jean has scars on her temples from breaking the machine she was hooked into. Starburst type ones.

Wanda’s bite is on her arm. It now just looks like a regular bite scar instead of the festering wound it is for most people. 

Jubilee is actually missing her left arm. Why? She got bit and Logan/Kurt decided that the best course of action was unfortunately to cut it off. She is still in bandages from it because neither of them really know how to handle an amputation. 

Alex has scarring/burns around his torso from excessive power use when getting out of a hoard. He rarely uses them now. 

Some less important people things: Angel’s wings are badly cut up and she currently can't fly. Hank is perma-blue and doesn’t have the serum that lets him obtain a normal appearance. Emma’s diamond form is fractured and she can’t hold it very long anymore.

Yeah! Hope this makes a lick of sense. Lemme know whatcha think :3

Madaparty day 10 - Alternate Universe

What if TPOM was a soap opera??

((((so YES that's an excuse to merge in my new sort of kind of hyperfixation (it's not as strong as some of mine hyperfixes but it certainly is there) on this one polish soap opera from 2001 called Adam and Eve))))

But! The plot would be kinda nice! I mean it's a soap opera so there's a TON of drama---

We have Skipper, our protagonist, who is stuck with her EVIL malicious husband Julien, who is focused on himself and a cheater (gasp!) He's burnt out living day to day at their flat, taking care of the little Private an supervising if Rico is putting himself into some trouble again (I wanted them to be the equivalents of the children of the protagonist, Private would be the young but supportive son, and RIco the teenage rebellious daughter who keeps falling in trouble - in the show she crashed a policeman's new car because she wanted to help some guy she met a few hours earlier)

but ONE DAY this guy just falls from the sky and crashes into him! His name is Hans, and he'll fall in love at first sight. Not Skipper tho!(or he'll think so),, But this meeting will change his life forever :)))

At the same time, his old friend, Marlene, returns from her travels, and she's sweet as ever :3 Skipper had a little crush on her in the past, but decided to get into the more financially stable marriage with (charming at that while) Julien. But what if the feelings never died out?

And to not make Julien the bad guy - when he notices Hans - this guy his husband started hanging out with - he noticed how neglectful he was and decided to change it. One day Skipper wakes up and sees Julien from the past - charming and sweet. Maybe there's a chance for this marriage???

Kowalski plays the role of the protag's smart sister, who in the og gets envious of the main love interest (which happens to be hans :P what a crackship,,,) and wants to end up with him (but he never notices her)

Oh and Hans can fly in this AU :)) it creates a contrast of "boring, flightless everyday life" - "this guy FALLS from the sky and is a little crazy and unpredictable"

Oh and Maurice is there too (from the cast i thought of) - he's julien's lover (obv) - in the og the lover is a smart journalist who is with the husband to gain information she needs and she kinda wraps him around her finger

Introducing the Fusion Trio from the LMK Battle Nexus AU [which belongs to @purble-turble]!

Basically take EVERY SINGLE AU THAT MANAGED TO ESCAPE CHARCOAL BONE KING AND SMASH THEM TOGETHER.

There are notable aspects between each, but the most obvious ones are definitely the more animal features coming to the forefront.

And yes, all three of them do have the Samadhi Fire. At least one of their variants had it so they all get the flame.

Red Son's primary physical form is a fusion between, surprisingly, both Time Travel Red and King Red's appearances, leading to the half shaved have long look. The pink/black and orange/yellow streaks are the samadhi fire and his normal flames being visible.

MK got Wukong and Macaque's natural hair colors in his hair along with more naturally colored monkey fur. Not to mention his outfit was updated to be a lot more nimble and like the stone monkey's since he is one himself.

Mei is noticeably more dragon-like and was given a more flexible outfit because of it. Not to mention her hair got grown out as well and is tied up in a ponytail along with being hung downwards.

The violet grey bands on their right wrists are for magic regulation so they don't just... Explode when trying to use their powers. Naturally they all hold base level abilities but combined experience from all of the versions into one.

Despite how busted this is... Nearly everyone is at war with themselves, leaving them mostly unfocused on combat and unable to work in sync for the most part.

Only very few of the variants are allowed in the forefront despite this, though. Mainly because DKR and Yandere MK would easily jeopardize everything if given the chance (also no one exactly trusts them).

But they do force themselves to the front quite a few times, leading to a lot of sudden issues in fights against the possession trio.

Specifically King Red is an issue, leading to the other Red's to forcibly pry him from the front and force him far into the back. The body's collective interest in MK and Mei along with the other two (Yes chimera shipping but only Spicynoodles and Dragonfruit. No Goldendragon shipping) leads to him smothering the two during sudden rescues from harm. Both MK and Mei just wanna focus on the mission if only the DKR side of possessiveness wasn't so OVERPOWERING.

Mei is naturally the only one able to pry the two off of each other in that situation, needing to get everybody back on track and they can deal with fixing, well... Themselves, later.

Mei essentially becomes the main leader of the trio, with MK being their muscle and Red being their smarts. Though with that in mind... Red oftentimes "short circuits" whenever his counterparts begin arguing internally. So whenever that happens, on the outside his expression falls blank and he's just... Stuck there until someone in the mental headspace makes them start moving.

For a potential reference as to how the headspace works, think of the control panel in Inside Out.

Thankfully, there aren't too many people in each headspace. The average on active ones is around twenty but for all of the souls the number is closer to fifty.

So... Yeah. That's about it. They're definitely a complicated trio and- OH WAIT I ALMOST FORGOT.

The Battle Nexus counterparts of their friends and family. They're actually super chill yet have no idea that the fusion trio are, well, actual fusions. Besides Wukong and Macaque, of course, who managed to put the pieces together very quickly. MK did explain what was happening to the two of them and they realized just how serious the situation is.

So they got some assistance. Though, Pigsy, Tang, and Sandy just treat Red, Mei, and MK as normal counterparts and not generally fusions. It was like the blueprints of the world made them assume they've always been like that, which makes Wukong and Macaque's attitude towards the trio all the more bizarre to them.

Their appearances are generally leaning towards their og counterparts for reference, albeit with the added awareness of the Battle Nexus existing and being inaccessible for the average person.

Though once the world gets fixed, surprisingly the fusion trio is allowed to exist after the fact (they got generated to replace the original fusion trio). They occasionally go to the Battle Nexus themselves but mostly remain on Earth.

Jin and Yin become aware of them very quickly, as it's very hard to ignore three visibly unique versions of Red Son, MK, and Mei together. So when they did sign up, they were put under a few extra rules to avoid destroying the battlefield during fights.

The most obvious is being allowed to only use a select five powers by assistance of the band per match. They can switch them out whenever they want before or after, but not during the fight.

... Suffice to say, no one ever challenges them except for each other. They literally hold the combined powers of all of the AUs in the Battle Nexus combined, so the second anyone tries fighting them they'd get pounded to the ground in seconds.

Forte swap au character intros part 2!!!

I love these so much genuinely I'm just so happy with where my art style's been at recently!

Ok I have a lot to say so it's under the cut. Remember; Spoilers for the og story!

I'll go from right to left since that's the order I designed them in (buckle in, this is a long one-)

Fubuki now has Spectral Projection. I liked the idea of giving it to her as she and Vivia are basically polar opposites so giving her his forte would really shake things up. Instead of calling her "Princess" and stuff, I think people would rather call her "Sleeping Beauty" and the themes of that fairy tale would end up seeping in to chapter 4, as well as its mystery labyrinth. Her hair flower is now a rose as a further reference to that. I used nightwear as references for her clothes, imagining them mostly being made out of more silky fabrics for that "rich girl" aura. I kept her hair down and messy and really just focused on making her look comfy. After all, if she's sleeping all the time, she should be in the appropriate attire for doing so, no? But thankfully The Chief gave her some wellie boots so she's not running around the city in soggy slippers. Her tattoos are now a string of stars on her collar bones to further emphasise the idea of dreams/sleep and also the "Z" in her name stands for "Zzz" because I thought they'd be funny. The last name "Bramble" is not only another reference to roses and sleeping beauty but also to Bram Stoker, the author of Dracula because yes, the vampire themes have been ripped away from Vivia and given to Fubuki instead!

Moving on to Halara- I knew right away that by giving them Time Leap, I should make them look more like a time traveller. Initially I wanted to try to make them look like they'd fit in well with the line up for the various Doctors in Doctor Who but unfortunately I couldn't figure out a way to do that without just... putting them in one of the outfits. So I instead decided to use steampunk as a main reference. I like to think that they stare at their pocket watch just to ignore people or as a passive aggressive way of telling them that they're wasting time. Their shoulder tattoo is meant to vaguely resemble an hour glass since that seemed appropriate. I had no idea what I wanted to do for their shirt under their coat so I settled on that black turtleneck tank top that makes the fangirls go crazy and made sure to give them Fubuki's necklace so that they can use their forte! The hardest part was deciding to give Halara goggles instead of glasses. They just seemed wrong without their glasses but it was just as wrong to have glasses and goggles? And so I settled on no glasses. (Mostly cuz I forgot to add them in and by then, I was used to looking at their empty face lol-) When they first arrived in Kanai Ward, Chief gave them the frilliest umbrella at the store because it had the same colours as their coat. Lastly, for their name chance, I changed it to "Clocksmith". It's the name of the profession for a watch mender, similar to Clockford and also "Smith" is the last name The Doctor uses when he needs to use a fake human name.

I'll be deadass, I did Vivia's design at like 3am and was running purely on vibes. So there isn't much perpousful intention behind him like the others. His hair now covers his left eye to make using Post Cognition much easier (sometimes it just activates on its own thanks to his eye already being obscured) but just underneath it you can see his tattoo; a big purple tear streak. I think I was watching a fnaf video at the time so. Marionette reference. Now you may be asking: Why is his hoodie so cropped? Why are his trousers so low cut? Idk- because I think it looks cool? I probably should've (and will in future) give him more bandages around his torso cuz looking at it now, that's not really that many. His big sleeves cover his hands and yes, I know that combining those sleeves with that stances just screams "Hatsune miku", that was completely accidental but I'm kinda here for it??? Gave him like 9 belts cuz I like drawing belts and I feel like his suicial ass would've been put in a real straight jacket at least once. People probably aren't sure if he's a real human entity anymore so Shinigami would probably call him a zombie. But nevertheless, The Chief makes sure he eats something at least once a day cuz his rib cage is definitely visible. For his last name, I changed Twilight to Midnight because it's got the "night" from Halara's "Nightmare" while still being a time of day.

And that's about it. Wow that's... a lot. Honestly if I didn't aspire to be a show runner, I'd probably settle for being a character designer. I'm super excited to show off what I've got in store of this AU's storyline but I've still gotta introduce a couple other characters first! ^vO

I was laughing so hard rereading the nynn Time Travel AU because like Tom is no better than any other teenage boy. First time he sees his soulmate and he's like this episode of the boondocks

and I was just dying because him getting some is the first and main thing on his mind. Like og timeline nynn Voldemort not getting any out of respect for his soulmate while time travel au Tom is getting lucky in the prefects bath 😂
