Darkest Night - anthology horror where you find out how people died but each case is actually related and there is a bigger mystery and this show lives in my head rent free lol

The Waystation - found footage style show about a group of people on a space station that all died (the story is trying to piece together what happened). It’s along the same lines as The White Vault

DERELICT - a research group are studying a door at the bottom of the ocean, and then shit goes sideways. I binged this series super fact and I need season 2 immediately lol

The Eleventh Hour episode called The City of Statues - I made this! It’s about a group of survivors trying to make it out of a city filled with statues trying to hunt them down 👀

Someone Dies in this Elevator - mix of horror and thriller I think. It’s an anthology series where every episode someone dies in an elevator 👀 I composed for a few episodes and it’s v fun 🤩

InCo - a woman finds a prince from a world that shouldn’t exist floating in space. This show is a delight and is a micro series and I love the humor within it so much omg

Where the Stars Fell - the Antichrist is roommates with their guardian angel and they’re trying to stop the rapture

DUST - anthology series about science fiction and technology! Season 3 is definitely my favorite as it is one story but the entire show as a whole is very good

Unseen - this show lives in my head rent free and I ache for it to be real. It’s about magic existing in the real world and is an anthology! It’s made by the same folks behind Wolf 359

Joy to the World - holiday series I helped produce! It’s about an astronaut named Joy talking with different people on Earth about the holidays! It’s an anthology and v warm and I highly recommend it as a holiday series

PHO Sunday Retrospective #3!

So before I get into the article itself, I just want to note that we have been given the name of the magazine that published it: Masque

Secondly, L.J.M 2007 disaster might perk some interest, as LJM is the same alias used by the hero Big Picture in Ward. He was a photographer who specialized in photographic nude/extreme pieces of C53’s, often described as being predatory for his behavior. The disaster is likely when he unveiled a blown up exhibit of a C53’s photo, despite making a deal with them that this would not happen.

As a reminder, Bambina is a grown adult woman, trapped in a child body, with a… very perverted sense of morality. She was going to help Pretender escape because he promised to use a celebrity body to do… things. Things that traumatized even Taylor to hear.

So yeah, this tracks with her behavior and use of sexuality to get a reaction out of people. She was also the one who first mentioned villain rankings too. Very apt.

Finally, the idea of the first Argo v Argo case being not only about the conservatorship of supervillain funds, but ongoing while Bambina is still committing public crimes is… astounding. I can only imagine the Movie tier courtroom drama

The idea that a bunch of villains were appalled that a villain or villain group would dare hijack an illegal ranking system is hilarious. They must be members of the leopards eating faces party.

Less funny is her relationship with her villain teammates. It should be reminded, that all of her teammates at the time, were actual children. She was an adult woman carrying young children into these fights and didn’t seem to have any issue talking about her (non-con?) sexual desires in front of them. Her being controlling is not surprising, though it’s interesting no moments have been explicitly stated.

Youth Guard being involved is interesting. Is it because of her teammates or because they handle all parahuman conservatory claims?

Are there a bunch of well-intended vigilantes/rebel without a cause/jackass villains who just love doing cape shit running the site? Like, they care more about the celebrity culture than actually being evil villains? It makes sense, but man, Bambina was already nearly blowing people up when we meet her! That’s a messy business to run.

Also, apparently there are implied official “unofficial” villain management business with publicists and agents… again, this is some wile revelations coming out here. The villain kids being placed next to killers and worse is the least surprising part if I’m being honest.

Bambina being groomed by her mother and the agency isn’t surprising, though I wonder what the evidence is. Certainly, the fact that Mrs. Argo wants her villain daughters ill gotten gains is not a great sign, but I imagine this needs a lot of proof.

I actually do support the Youth Guard here. Wildbow has mentioned in WoG and in the Youth Guard document that they are pretty on the level and well meaning. And villain kids certainly need advocates in a setting where Parahumans are treated as accessories (or worse).

But man, Bambina? Good luck to handling that…

Getaway Car

I’m in a getaway car I left you at the motel bar Took the money in the bag and stole the keys  That was the last time you ever saw me… 

Partners in crime. Brothers in arms. That’s how the Avengers saw you and Loki, forever up to some mischief together. The way you both shared one mind was insane, and while Tony was glad it gave you a battle advantage, that brilliance was too often used for useless pranks around the facility, tiring out Steve Rogers and Bruce Banner the most. 

So what? They were harmless. These were ‘morale boosting’ and ‘team building’ activities, as per you. If anything, it brought the team closer together. And your pranks were your way of keeping the Avengers always alert and ready for danger. You had endless justifications. 

‘When do the excuses end?’ Tony once asked you.  ‘When do Earth’s mighty Avengers stop screaming about grasshoppers in their pancakes? It’s a protein-rich breakfast.’ 

Meanwhile, Loki never scrambled for a justification. He did things because he wanted to, and the chiding and complaining only encouraged him. Together, you made life hell for villains and heroes alike. You and Loki were the first response to an attack because of the way you could significantly weaken the enemy's psyche, prepping them to be an easy kill for the rest of the Avengers. 

You made a good team. A powerful one. And while your pranks kept things light, the Avengers were not unaware that if you decided to turn against them, you would succeed in wiping them out.

You and Loki weren’t the type for meetings, which made things easy for Tony that evening. In the bi-monthly meetup in his grand tower, he brought up a subject he’d been mulling over for quite some time. 

‘Do we have any reason to suspect they are plotting something against us?’ Steve asked. 

‘We don’t want to assume the wrong thing and risk actually inspiring them.’ Natasha said. 

‘You see, there’s the problem!’ Tony barked, ‘Why are we so afraid of them? They’re supposed to be on our side, dependable and loyal. Instead we’re afraid of pissing them off!?’

‘What are you saying exactly, Tony?’ Bruce asked. 

Tony sighed frustratedly and ran his fingers through his hair. ‘I don’t know. I just never want to be in a situation where we’re compromised from the inside. They’re too close to each other, and they know things we do not. I don’t like that.’ 

‘Fine. We’ll give them other tasks to keep them occupied separately,’ Natasha suggested. 

‘Like it’s school?’ Bruce said. 

‘I truly think Y/N was far more focused before Loki came along.’ Tony said. 'She was responsible. Tame.'

‘We’re starting to sound like parents, ’ Natasha said. ‘I’m sure it’s nothing, but if you’re worried, we’ll occupy her in the lab and him in training facilities.’ 

Tony thought this was a good idea.   ___________________________________________

The next morning, at breakfast, all the Avengers received an agenda sheet. It was placed on their seat at the dining table, and you were taken aback. 

‘Since when do we have a timetable?’ you asked. 

‘Since I saw things slacking around here,’ Tony declared. ‘We’ve got new trainees, new equipment, and new space stuff to unpack, and we’re doing nothing.’ 

‘You mean Loki and I are doing nothing.’ 

‘If the shoe fits,’ Tony said. 

The agenda was clearly made for you, and the rest of the team was in on it. You looked through your sheet - which honestly wasn’t that bad. You just didn’t like being taken by surprise. Mornings in the lab testing Tony’s “space stuff.” Afternoons running any one of the Avengers’ many charity initiatives - education, rehab, food drives, what have you. And evenings pulling apart and examining weapons scavenged from aliens kindly brought to you by either Carol Danvers or Gamora. 

And then you picked up Loki’s (who was sleeping late as usual). Mornings in the training facility training new recruits. Afternoons doing weapons testing with Tony. And evenings at any of the charity drives. 

This was deliberate. You couldn’t fathom why the Avengers would play such games, but you weren’t about to be taken for a ride.  ___________________________________________

Later in the morning, when Loki finally woke from his prolonged slumber, you told him about Tony’s passive-aggressive comment and the new agenda sheets. His green eyes flickered with the same spark of rebellion that mirrored your thoughts. 

"Why the sudden change, you think?" Loki questioned. 

"Control," you muttered, piecing the agenda with the prior night's conversations you had eavesdropped on through the vents—a risky yet fruitful habit. "They fear us, Loki. They're splitting us up, weakening our position."

Loki's smirk was as sly as ever, an idea brewing in the back of his mind. As he leaned closer, the proximity sent a shiver down your spine, and the air between you charged with a dangerous excitement.

"Then perhaps, my dear..." His voice dropped to a seductive whisper, his breath a warm caress against your ear. "...it's time we teach them the folly of their paranoia."

The words, scandalous and provocative, ignited something within you. Your heart thudded violently in your chest, a wild drumbeat echoing in the hollow of your ribs. It was the thrill of the forbidden, the allure of stepping into the shadows with Loki by your side, not just as a partner in crime but as a co-conspirator in a game most perilous.

His eyes locked onto yours, green fires that burned with mischief and an unspoken promise of chaos. It was an unholy proposal, stepping over a line you knew well but had never dared to cross before. And yet, as your heart raced and your thoughts spun, you realized that the decision had already been made in that fleeting heartbeat.

"Yes," you breathed out, the word less a reply and more a surrender to the exhilarating unknown. "Let's make them regret ever doubting us."

With that, your fate was sealed.

Under the guise of your newly assigned tasks, you and Loki meticulously orchestrated your daring plan. Each task provided unique opportunities to prepare for the heist without arousing suspicion among the other Avengers.

In the mornings, Loki was stationed at the training facility, instructing new recruits in the art of combat and deception. Utilizing his godly charisma and depth of experience, he subtly wove lessons on unpredictability and misdirection into his training, skills that would prove essential in the upcoming heist. While training these recruits, Loki also discreetly surveyed the facility's layout and security details, noting any potential vulnerabilities.

In the afternoons, his task shifted to weapons testing with Tony. These sessions, fraught with the clang of metal and the buzz of new technology, provided Loki with the perfect cover to engage Tony in technical discussions, subtly extracting information about the latest security updates and the locations of key research projects, including the cloaking device. Loki used his wit to keep Tony focused on the tasks at hand, ensuring his own activities went unnoticed.

Evenings saw Loki participating in various charity drives. These engagements offered him a public face of benevolence; all the while, he used these outings to establish alibis and build trust within the community and among his team, masking his true intentions under the guise of philanthropy.

Your mornings were spent in Tony’s lab, ostensibly testing new equipment designated aptly as “space stuff.” This task was critical because it allowed you direct access to some of the most advanced technology within the Avengers’ arsenal. While your official task was to test and report on these devices, you utilized this time to familiarize yourself with the lab’s security systems and to map out a discreet path to the prototype device. Your expertise in technology helped you to handle the equipment convincingly, all while preparing for the eventual theft.

Just like Loki, you used your time at the afternoon charity drives to make connections with community members and the other Avengers, enhancing your image as a dedicated member. This wasn’t a farce - you did care about the community. But right now, you had an underlying feeling of anger and hurt that the Avengers you gave your life to were doubting your intentions. So, you networked and built connections that could be useful for creating diversions or obtaining information indirectly related to the Avengers’ operational security.

The evenings were dedicated to examining and dismantling alien weaponry, and this time was invaluable not only for understanding potential alien tech that could be repurposed to aid in your escape but also for ensuring you were updated on the latest extraterrestrial technologies that might impact your plan. ___________________________________________

Days turned into weeks. You and Loki could only ever meet at night, and though you expected a whole day of events to make you too tired to plan a heist, you were actually excited. These secret meetings were charged with an electric anticipation that both thrilled and unnerved you. What started as a time to go over your respective findings turned into something far more intimate. As you poured over maps and schematics, your discussions often went into other things. Your pasts, your stories, your motives for joining the Avengers… everything you both usually kept hidden under bravado or mischief.

Loki’s usual façade of indifference was replaced by a passionate intensity about your joint mission. It was during one of these evenings, while reviewing security layouts, that he looked up from the papers, his gaze piercing. “You know, in all my years of schemes and conquests,” he confessed, his voice a low rumble, “I’ve never felt quite as... exhilarated as I do now, planning this with you.”

These words struck a chord within you, igniting a warmth that spread through your chest. 

Nights passed… you sat close to each other, naturally relaxing into each other. Soon, you moved the meetings from the facility terrace to each other’s bedrooms, comfortably laying in bed and discussing everything and nothing. 

“I’m the only kid in my family to get a job’ you once revealed. ‘And now I feel like their lives all depend on me.’ 

It’s true that you were more focused and serious before Loki came in. But that was because you never allowed yourself to do anything else but meet the expectations of your family. Loki was a breath of fresh air. The child you wished you could be for once. 

You didn’t have to explain all that to him. After you spilled your secret, Loki pulled you closer to him and stroked your head softly as you fell asleep. As you drifted off in his safe and warm embrace, you thanked Tony for his harsh comments. Were it not for him, you and Loki might never have bonded this way. 

But a day after that fact occurred to you, your mind began to wander. Was this love destined, or was it just something that happened due to an unfavorable circumstance? 

Did he realize he was in danger? Were you his escape plan?

With this deepening connection came a vulnerability that was new to both of you. The fear of betrayal, so ingrained in both your natures, loomed large as the day of the heist approached. Could you truly trust Loki with your heart, just as you were trusting him with your life?

The night before the heist, as you both sat back after hours of meticulous planning, Loki turned to you with a seriousness that was rare for him. “No matter what happens,” he said, his voice steady and sincere, “I want you to know that I... I value this. Us. More than I thought possible.”

His admission was a confession, and in the dim light of your secluded meeting spot, you allowed yourself a moment to truly look at him—not as the God of Mischief or an Avenger, but as a man who had unexpectedly become so much more. The stakes were higher now. 

Could this connection you created in the night - in the seclusion of the terrace and the safe confines of your bedroom - last in daylight?

4 PM. 

Your heart hammered as you bypassed the final security protocols and laid your hands on the prototype device, its field of light flickering with the promise of freedom. With the device secured, you slipped away to meet Loki at the designated rendezvous point, ready to disappear. As per today’s schedule, the Avengers were all at a school for at-risk youths, so it would be hours before anybody even realized what had happened. 

As you ran, the back of the backpack hitting you with every step, you felt a sense of dread in your stomach. Why didn’t this feel exhilarating? Why didn’t it feel freeing? 

You reached the entrance and saw Loki in your getaway car - a dark green sports Jaguar with the top town. The feeling of unease did not rest when you saw his face. The plan had gone too smoothly. Was it all too convenient? 

Your own thoughts a traitor to you, your heart sank as you opened those doors and jumped into his car. He put his lips to yours in absolute delight, barely able to stop smiling as he planted kiss after kiss on your face. 

"Are you with me, truly?" you found yourself asking, voice edged with a fear you hated to admit.

Loki's expression softened, a hand reaching out to cup your cheek. "Always," he reassured. 

The escape was a blur—for a moment, you forgot your reservations and reveled in the thrill of the wind in your hair. It was so romantic. So powerful. As night closed in and you left the sparkling city, the car drove into the darkness, but your heart was never lighter. His hand was on your thigh, and the music in your mind swelled as you imagined a whole new life with him. You were his savior, and he was yours. 

But the high soon crashed. 

As you reached the motel you decided to spend the night at, you looked over at him, and your heart sank again. The love was only alive in safe spaces. In comfortable places where it was nobody else’s business. 

You got out of the car and checked into your room - cash only. The room was nothing grand - it didn’t have to be. It would suffice until your contact made you fake passports, and you could get the hell out of the country. 

Loki did suggest simply teleporting the pair of you to Asgard, but that would hardly be a safe place to hide. And besides… why would he make such a ridiculous suggestion? Because he expected it to be shut down? Was your plan - your dream - to run away to somewhere in Asia and live a simple life actually his plot all along? And which god would agree to a simple life? Was it a ploy to make you feel safe before he betrayed you and left with the cloaking device? 

Questions upon questions filled your head. You weren’t sure if you were being your own worst enemy, so you decided to sleep on it. Loki asked if you wanted to get a drink at the motel bar, but you just wanted to creep under the covers and sleep the adrenaline off. He didn’t protest - he wanted you to be comfortable. 

It only made you more paranoid. Why didn’t he care enough to insist on a celebratory drink? Was he going to take this time to plot his escape? 

If betrayal were inevitable, you’d strike first. 

As soon as you heard the door click shut, you leaped out of bed and got dressed. You grabbed the bag with the device and the car keys and ran to the door. Then you paused… if you left right now, Loki wouldn’t stop looking for you. And nowhere on earth would be safe from a god. 

With a heavy heart, you called the Avengers facility from the motel landline.

You watched from the shadows as Loki drank his whiskey all alone. Your heart ached as you turned the key in the ignition, and the engine roared to life. Maybe it wasn’t too late… maybe you could grab him from the motel bar, drag him to the car, and keep running. 

Those hopes were dashed when you saw the Iron Suit’s unmistakable lights draw closer to the motel. For a moment you looked back at Loki to mouth a silent apology. He managed to lock eyes with you for a split second, confused and hurt, before the roof crashed in on him. 

Nothing good starts in a getaway car.

I just realized that I forgot to mention what I meant about fully preparedness for my character polls such as Jak and Rayman. After seven fucking polls is when my dumbass realizes the flaw. Welp here's the post rectifying said mistake with everyone's favorite limbless hero, Rayman, for the example.

Now Rayman has been on a lot of adventures and every one introduced something new to his skillset. The series stapled Lums particularly ones like Red or Purple. Rayman 3 with its combat fatigues/power up transformations. Adventures granting the Incrediball companions who can help find things, gather particular stuff similar to magnets or grant powerful protection. Origins/Legends introducing various cartoony abilities from travel through paintings to running on walls. His latest appearance being a powered up Plungergun/Blaster and the Sparks.

These are some of the things that can come with Rayman for wherever he ends up. Other stuff include food provisions, water, and any essentials often taken on long journeys. Now I'll be using Transformers Prime as an example for this mainly because I want to drive these particular bots nuts but also Rayman not having a good time with sentient machines if you look at Rayman 2.

Where and when does our limbless hero pop up? How about the battle that would've been Cliffjumper's last stand i.e the first episode? Yup. Right in the thick of it as I want to paint a big fat target on Ray's back for both sides.

Before anyone fusses, this Thingamajig fought bigger and dangerous enemies but still came out on top. It isn't his first rodeo especially with killer machines. Where was I? Oh right, him dispatching Vehicons alongside Cliff.

Both are able to take down their Decepticon opponents just before Team Prime shows up. With his good deed done, Rayman decides to dip as he rather not experience any war flashbacks to the Razorbeard debacle from his second adventure. Optimus tries to convince the Thingamajig that he'll be under their protection but nope.

Rayman flees by using Ethering to turn invisible. Although he accidentally leaves one of his paintings behind in the process. The Autobots retrieve the item with hope it can lead them back to their friend's savior. It's quite clear that Rayman isn't from Earth and could be a target to the Decepticons.

A notion later proven true once Soundwave retrieves the footage from the fallen Vehicons. Upon seeing the feed, Megatron orders his Decepticons to capture Rayman should the opportunity present itself. This strange creature could prove helpful to their cause.

Now Rayman is essentially on the run from the beginning. Whenever he can, the Thingamajig would set up shelter and rest up. Most of the time Rayman camps out in the woods. There's enough natural cover and places to hide.

A task that becomes more difficult since one encounter with Soundwave left him stranded in Jasper, Nevada. Yup. He still gets entangled in both factions' conflict as the poor guy is so lost. Why is he here? Does it have something to do with these giant robots?

Both aren't good at providing info as Rayman constantly has to dodge servos(hands for Cybertronians) through almost every encounter. Except for Cliffjumper since he has an inkling the limbless hero wouldn't like that. Moreso after the incident I'll call 'Catch the Thingamajig'. One limbless hero popping up in a warzone between a four v. four battle.

Decepticons: Starscream, Soundwave, Breakdown and Knockout

Autobots: Optimus, Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Arcee

You guys ever seen an intense football 🏈 specifically on the Super Bowl level? That's how I describe this particular incident with poor Rayman being the ball. Some examples. He gets grabbed by Arcee only for Soundwave to tackle her. Bumblebee attempts capture but Rayman ducks just in time!

The Thingamajig goes to glide away only to get snatched up by Starscream. Seeker tries to flee through via groundbridge however Bulkhead knocks him off kilter! Rayman switches to the Shock Rocket to garner some distance from both factions. It buys him a few seconds only for his cover to get blown by Breakdown!

The Decepticon nabs Rayman and attempts to pass him over to Knockout but Optimus intercepts! Starscream goes for the steal however the Thingamajig has had enough. Rayman frees himself via Screech then forces everyone to scatter with Pyrogeddon.

The only thing Autobots haven't tried to reach the Thingamajig is Cliffjumper. Rayman did save the bot and no one knows how he'll react towards the kids. (We missed out on guardian Cliffjumper. Yes, Rayman marked as his ward upon capture.)

Meanwhile the Decepticons would have to be more sneaky in their approach. The Thingamajig is craftier and stronger than they thought. Maybe a certain Predacon obsessed scientist could help with the endeavor.

It's gonna take some time and well planning if anyone wants to reach Rayman. Meanwhile the Thingamajig is gonna do his best to survive this huge clusterfuck of a fiasco. Hopefully he'll be able to go home and get a much needed nap.

DC Comics' "Absolute Power" event will pit the Trinity of Evil - the Brainiac Queen, Failsafe, and Amanda Waller - against the heroes of the DCU in a battle for the fate of all metahumans.

Fans can get a prelude into the events of "Absolute Power" in Absolute Power 2024 FCBD Special Edition. The free comic book day release will contain an original story from Mark Waid and Mikel Janín, a recap of the lead-up to "Absolute Power," and a sneak peek of Absolute Power #1.

How, in my opinion, DCEU should've been made.

For the record, I enjoyed most of the DCEU, but I think it could've been done better.

-OK, we start with Man of Steel, I don't think there's really need to change much in a plot.

-Then we make Batman where we see him fighting crime across the years, recruiting Robin, apprehending Deadshot, Harley, the beginning of his rivalry with Deathstroke that would explain why Slade hates him so much. No killing Dick Grayson because that's wasting character potential. Instead, he would leave to act as a solo hero, which would lead to him becoming Nightwin.

-Wonder Woman movie that would pretty much stay the same. The only difference would be lack of the opening scene in today's time.

-Batman V Superman Dawn of Justice, only maybe without Batman killing people, and maybe brainwashed Superman by Luthor to fight Batman.

-The Flash movie where we see his origin, getting his powers, etc. I think the main antagonists would be The Rogues (Reverse Flash would appear in sequel).

-Aquaman movie, where the main antagonist would be Black Manta (Orm would serve as an overarching antagonist that would be a mysterious benefactor of Manta). Mera and Vulko would also appear to help Arthur with Manta.

-Justice League movie where most would remain the way it was in Snyder Cut, only with few differences.

At this, we would start getting sequels and movies about new characters. (The order could be different)

-Batman 2, where he would continue to fight crime. More members of Bat Family could be introduced like Batgirl and Jason Todd or Tim Drake. Dick would return as Nightwing. The main antagonists could be the Court of Owls or League of Shadows.

-Wonder Woman 2 that would take place in the present day, and the main antagonist would be Cheetah.

-The Flash 2 would focus on Barry learning more about his powers and attempts to prove his father's innocence. The main antagonist would be Reverse Flash, who turns out to be murderer of Barry's mother.

-Cyborg movie that would focus on Vic's attempts to go back to having "normal" life. There could be more exploration of his and Barry's friendship. The main antagonist would be The Grid, which would begin as a virus in Vic's body before obtaining his own body.

-Aquaman 2, which would have most of the plot of the 2018 movie with Arthur fighting Orm to take back the throne.

-Man of Steel 2, which would focus on Clark trying to go back to his life and taking the next step in his relationship with Lois. Supergirl would appear, and the main antagonist would be Brainiac.

-Shazam movie that would remain the same. The only major difference would be a Superman appearance that would tease Billy to join the Justice League.

-Green Arrow movie that would show his origins, etc. Black Cannary would appear, the Dark Archer would be the main antagonist, and Batman would make an appearance.

-Suicide Squad movie, in this version, the Squad would be formed because of the fear of the government of new Meta-Humans that started to appear after the formation of Justice League. The main antagonist would be The Joker.

-Justice League 2, the main antagonist, would the Legion of Doom led by Luthor, and it would focus on trying to find the Anti-life equation. There would be few new members of the League and big tease about Darkseid coming to earth.

This is the "Phase 3" where we come to the Great finale

Batman 3, that would focus on Bruce trying to come up with a solution on how to prevent the future he had dreams about from coming true. He would also prepare his family to live without him. It would also show the end of his rivalry with Deathstroke.

-Wonder Woman 3, here are 2 ideas for the plot, 1) The main antagonist would be Maxwell Lord, which would be more comic accurate than the version we've seen in the 1984 movie. 2) It would show Diana coming back to Themyscira, which would face the ancient threat connected to the Gods. I think Shazam could also appear to help Diana in the fight.

-Cyborg 2, unfortunately I don't have an idea for this movie, if you do then share.

Aquaman 3, I think here could be used the plot of Lost Kingdom.

-The Flash 3, here the plot of his 2023 movie with Flashpoint, could be used. But it wouldn't change Batmans or anything, but it would delay a bit Darkseid arrival and would give a possibility to change the future Bruce has seen.

-Shazam 2, I think here some part of the plot of the Fury of the Gods could stay.

-Black Adam movie, that would be way more connected to the Shazam movies. Shazam and Superman would also appear.

-Green Arrow 2, here I also don't have an idea for a plot.

-Green Lantern movie, here I think we could introduce both Hal Jordan and John Stewart. The main antagonist would be Sinestro.

-Suicide Squad 2, here plot of The Suicide Squad could be used.

-Peacemaker show, pretty much the same.

-Man of Steel 3, Lois would be revealed to be pregnant, so she and Clark would start thinking about the life they want to have. Batman could also appear with a major role. I don't know who could be the main antagonist.

-Justice League 3, which would serve as a big finale, some of Snyder's ideas could be used like earth uniting against Darkseid and Batman sacrificing himself to save Lois.

I know it looks like MCU plan, but that's exactly the point, DCEU problem was that they tried to catch up with Marvel while they should do this slowly, step by step.

earth-2182 AU

(the home dimension of x-men character nocturne (talia wagner) daughter of kurt wagner and wanda maximoff) but with particular emphasis on the nightcrawler x scarlet witch ship.

what’s actual canon in the marvel earth-2182 that i’m hanging onto:

kurt wagner & wanda maximoff are married and so besotted in love that their (adult!) daughter says ‘they’re like teenagers’. nightcrawler is an x-man, but the scarlet witch is a member of the avengers.

ok so AU time really just an expansion on that b/c there’s little to nothing else we know abt TJs parents in her universe... wanda meets kurt on a joint-team mission just after joining the avengers… she's 23 and he's 25 (so he's been an x-man for 5 years while she’s still v new to hero-ing) their teams get split up mid-crisis and they end up stranded together and it’s like omg crisis! actually we’re a really good team. actually you’re kinda hot??? etc, etc. i remember i read some random comic panels of them meeting and wanda impressing kurt b/c she speaks a bit of german and they’re really on the same wavelength and idk these little panels too give the hint that they’d just hit it off straight away y’know

afterwards kurt finds any reason to send her gifts or call her or show up at avengers tower - very flamboyant and dramatic. but anyway wanda is in a better place than in avengers movie etc. (and pietro is alive. the maximoff siblings are romani jewish and both alive.) anyway so wanda is doing okay and learning to be a hero, and then when that gets stressful there’s a guy who’s doing the absolute most just to see her smile. its all very charming and they get together. also it’s the 1980s.

they date for about three years before they get engaged and then married very soon after. why wait! they’re in love (ages 27 and 29). scott summers officiates and cries about it, kitty pryde is kurt’s maid of honour, pietro maximoff is wanda’s best man. it’s the party of the year and the biggest x-men/avengers mixer ever lol.

kurt is your classic I LOVE MY WIFE guy, as we know he always chugs his respecting women juice. he’ll admit he’s a little terrified sometimes of the sheer power wanda has, but they’re so dedicated to each other its like katara getting aang out of the avatar state.

they continue to be on separate teams with separate bases as in earth-2182 canon but they do have their own place to spend time at together, luckily for wanda having a husband that can travel anywhere in the blink of an eye is extremely convenient.

kurt loses his eye 3 years later (ages 30 and 32) in a scuffle that i’m writing a fic abt the aftermath b/c i love angst and hurt/comfort lol and it shakes them up enough that they both decide to take time off from hero business.

during this time TJ is conceived!!! she is born (wanda 31, kurt 33) and wanda moves to xavier's so that they can get help with raising her and allowing her to grow up around other mutants, it’s the 1990s, kurt isn’t an active x-man but he is the school’s drama teacher. wanda really gets stuck into motherhood and realises it’s everything she’s ever wanted, literally Best Mother, sings the most beautiful lullabies, gets really into sewing and sews tons of matching outfits for herself and TJ.

later wanda rejoins the avengers and after about a decade kurt takes over leadership of the x-men and things continue from there. TJ trains to be an x-man and also sings in a riot grrl band. she’s a big time music lover b/c she inherited her father’s flair for the dramatic. she’s got main character curse a lil bit tho lol so during a x-mission she gets universally displaced (as in comics canon somwewhere idk i’m not fixated enough on it)

so TJ disappears in about 2015 at age 20, making wanda 51 and kurt 53.

and then there’s my whole mental disney movie about TJ trying to return home lol, probably it DOES put a bit of a strain on kurt & wanda’s unshakeable marriage because it’s understandably traumatic for your child to go missing no matter what age they are, and ofc TJ is having her interdimensional situation but i’m not imagining it playing out like in the comics too much because in my mind it’s all culminating in [this] because we love a happy ending. she deserves to make it home.

(TBH the most AU thing about this whole thing is just that kurt wagner NEEDS to be sexy and canon old man nightcrawler in in canon earth-2182 is like... not sexy, sorry. but the eyepatch is a vibe!!! so much of a vibe i’ve noticed it in the latest x-men gold(?) run, we love pirate vibes kurt)

Peter was running across his room corner to corner because when your girlfriend calls on the verge of a panic attack, the first one you’ve experienced, you only have a certain amount of time to react, and do it well enough you can settle her and be the hero of her story. 

So, while he was trying to think of what he could say to ease your mind he was also frantically pulling his suit on. 

“Karen! Karen get me to Y/N’s house. Now!” 

Peter fell off the railing and let Karen take over the route while he had Karen google “What to tell your girlfriend during a panic attack?” He read over the suggestions, nodding at some and questioning others, he stockpiled each one depending on how bad it was once he got there. 

Tearing his mask off at the window he jumped in, stopping when he saw you. His heart tumbled, he was trying to think of what he could do to fix it but wasn’t preparing himself for what it would look like. You were shaking in the corner of your room, knees tucked to chest, heavy gasps filled the room. Peter doesn’t even think you can see him right now, he goes into autodrive. 

“Baby?” He places a hand on your arm but nothing changes. 

“Baby, can you look at me?” Your gasps got worse.

Peter’s eyes widened, he sat in front of you and pulled your legs over his, both of you in a V shape. “Look at me.” You stared at the spider emblem on his chest. He grabbed you by the chin and forced you to look in his eyes. “Look. Copy me okay?” You looked at him but he wasn’t sure you were comprehending. 

“Breathe with me. Smell the flowers,” He made a dramatic inhale through his nose. He held it for a few seconds, “Blow out the birthday candles.” He dramatically blew the air out his mouth. He watched as you struggled to inhale, “Look, just like me. Breathe in,” He watched as you stuttered a breath, “Out, blow out the fire.” You shakily exhaled. He grabbed your hand and placed it on his chest, his heartbeat grounding you. 

“Again.” You both mimicked the pattern. 

“Again.” You stopped being shaky on the inhales. 

“Again.” You let out a longer breath, the guidance easing you. 

“One last time.” You did this one on your own. 

You had calmed, the panic over. You sighed, embarrassment washing over you. Peter had just seen you in one of your worst times, and you called him over for it. 

“You okay?” 

You nodded and gulped. 

“I need water.” 

Peter shot a web to your water bottle and handed it over, you sipped slowly. You didn’t want to look him in the eye. 

“I’m sorry.” 

Peter scoffed, “For what? You gave me a reason to leave the apartment tonight. I was going to watch Clue with Aunt May.” 

“Plus you needed me. You may not now, but you did five minutes ago, so don’t feel bad. Sometimes you just need someone to bring you back down to earth.” 

Peter shrugged like it was a casual hangout between the two of you, just a normal Thursday afternoon. Your heart swelled with love, he gave you his all and was always looking for more to give. 

“Peter, can I ask you for something?” 

His eyebrows shot up, “Yes, of course. Anything.” 

“Can I have a hug?” 

Peter aww’d and reached in for a hug. Your next words were muffled in his neck but he heard them anyway. 

“And maybe one or two kisses?”

Rings of Power, Ep. 8 Review - A rant fit for a finale

 Ready for my final rant? I shan’t hold back. The show sure didn’t! Here are my thoughts on episode eight:

1. Starting with a bang. Gandalf is Sauron red herring. Believed it for exactly...no seconds.

2. Slow-mo hits a little different when Halbrand’s limp body is slow-mo bouncing on a horse.

3. Pretty sure the three elven rings were made last? And positive they were made in SECRET. AFTER they suspected Sauron was messing with the rings already. And I KNOW the three elven rings were untouched by Sauron. But oh look. Sauron’s going around touching stuff. Literally picks up the mithril that will make the rings.

4. See, Halbrand’s line about giving “a gift” is okay subtlety! One of Sauron’s names meant “giver of gifts.” Plant the seeds slowly. Show him working his way gradually into becoming friends with the elves, then maybe trusted to play around in the forge, then helping make rings for the dwarves, then suspected, then -

No? We’re going to skip all that and immediately suspect him? Awesome.

5. And of COURSE Nancy Galadriel Drew has to be the one to crack the case. She has no reason to suspect Halbrand! He says one thing that Adar says, and he’s immediately a villain to her. Girl, remind me never to be your ally. You are more fickle than a squirrel trying to cross the road.

6. Oh good lord. We have time to shoe-horn Elendil’s daughter into all this?

7. Aaaaaaaaaaand now Sauron’s helping with the actual forging of the three elven rings. So much for unsullied by Sauron’s hand!

8. Elrond talking about how quickly they’re making the rings: “Three weeks for a labor that could take three centuries.” 

I don’t know if they’re making fun of us with this, but yes, all this SHOULD take three centuries. Three weeks? We’re seriously going to do the forging of the rings in PART of ONE EPISODE?!

9. HUZZAH! HARFOOT DEATH!

10. The three witchy ladies talk about Gandalf by saying “He is the other. The Istar.” THE other? As if it’s just Sauron v. Gandalf. And *gasp* This guy is Gandalf?! Who would have guessed?!

11. Because Gandalf spoke to that moth in the movies, he’s mothman now?

12. They’re really going to end the season with the lie that Isildur is dead?

13. The Sauron reveal. Okay, buckle up.

So Galadriel gets suspicious and SUPER mad at Halbrand when she discovers he’s not king of the Southlands. Problem is, SHE is the one who insisted that that was his identity! SHE was the one who told all of the Numenoreans that he was king! SHE was the one who poked and prodded him to take up that title! This reveal has no weight for many reasons, one of them being it is a lie GALADRIEL CREATED AND PERPETUATED. 

Then we get the reveal, and man oh man. One vague accusation, and they have Sauron go completely mask-off and smile like an over-the-top villain. All he’s missing is a mustache. Where is the master manipulator?! He could EASILY twist her suspicions. 

Then Sauron proceeds to point out fact after fact after fact. Ultimately, Galadriel is the reason Sauron is a villain again. Kill me. Gone is Galadriel the hero. In her place is now a woman with a guilty conscience trying to clean up the massive mess she made.

THEN, the temptation scene. Some cool visuals of the reflections in the water, but why does Galadriel’s temptation have to be tied to her romantic attractions. She can’t be tempted by power for its own sake? She has to be lured in by a sexy face and a soft lilt to the voice? Which, fine...if we didn’t already know her as someone who consistently throughout Tolkien is drawn to the idea of power without the need for all that. 

I’m so over these showrunners who constantly bragged about their strong female characters. You have single-handedly stripped this goddess of a character to be a sniveling, obnoxious, self-righteous piece of cardboard who has every single step of her journey defined by the men that surround her. Now, as the final insult, you make her quest to save Middle-Earth tied to her sexuality and a made-up guilt rooted in creating the very monster that will nearly destroy everything in the world. I. HATE. THIS. SHOW!!!!!

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE. Sauron’s final threat is to remind Galadriel that he lives because of her. She replies, “And you will die because of me.” This is her promise. SHE will be responsible for Sauron’s defeat. Not only have you diminished Galadriel, you are now diminishing the ring-bearers who actually bring about Sauron’s demise. THEY’RE LESSENING THE HEROISM OF FRODO AND SAM!!!!!! You come for Sam and Frodo, YOU DIE!!!!!!!!!!!

Deep breaths. Deep breaths. Let’s get back to the stupid elven rings thing.

14. Elrond says the rings must be untouched by hands other than elves’. Look at that. Even the show insists the three rings shouldn’t be touched by Sauron. The show that just showed him touching them five minutes ago. 

15. The Harfoot goodbye takes FOREVER. 

16. “Always follow your nose.” Good. Freaking. Grief. See, in another show, I might have been delighted with this line. I might have smiled with glee and cried, “Gandalf!” But no. That which is beautiful is soured by the foul fingers of these greedy, talentless showrunners.

17. I’m so confused by the picking and choosing. So in some ways they try to match the Jackson aesthetic (Balrog, basic elven and hobbit design, Sauron armor, etc.). Then they go and totally ignore it in others, specifically the design of the three rings. 

18. I still can’t believe they showed their hand. Their two big mysteries: Sauron and Gandalf, and they revealed both in a single episode and in the first season. AND they forged the three rings.

19. P.S. I hate the credits song.

20. Random things of note: Lol, no balrog. No Theo and fam, thank goodness. No Isildur? 

I hate it all, but at last, it. is. DONE.

In Batman Superman: World’s Finest # 21 (2023), main universe Batman and Superman visits Earth-22, known from Kingdom Come where Dick was called Red Robin. Here, he is called Nightwing and the artist Dan Mora wrote on X/former Twitter that this takes place before Dick became Red Robin. So there appears a retcon of Dick’s history on Earth-22 has taken place. 

(At least, it would make his daughter’s codename Nightstar more logical, if her parents were Starfire and Nightwing rather than Robin/Red Robin. And in the comic The Kingdom: Nightstar from 1999, a younger Dick is seen with a Nightwing-like suit.)

A/N: So. I always told myself I would never write RPF, simply because I felt weird doing it. It’s not that I don’t read it. I do, quite a lot.
