My friend caught on that my special interest character rants have shifted to new characters recently.
I had to inform them that I was indeed cursed by a mutual with a new chronic hyperfixation.
(Please continue cursing me, I not-very-secretly enjoy it)

Touchy topic this time. I still don't have an AD so yeah. This isn't a social sharing kind of thing for me but I also like putting everything out in the open anyway if not in a place people wouldn't normally look.
Major turn offs for me besides disliked kinks when it comes to the pr0ns (like scat, watersports, daiper, ironically pacifiers, egg laying, etc) is early pull out, cumming anywhere but inside (except when being railed), condom internals unless broken, among other things. It is unfortunately quite popular for some reason for artists and pr0n stars to show their thing out while they're popping, which might as well be no different than jacking off by yourself. There's no point to any of it at that point you might as well have just masturbated on camera and called it a day of you were going to pull out or paint.
My kink is the orgasm itself, right I want it to feel as good as conceivably possible while doing so,, and the more the person popping or the person being popped in feels the better. That's why I enjoy things like cum inflation or excessive cum everywhere and the person being penetrated shooting ridiculously far, and the act itself having a lot of pre or being lubricated by past orgasms. Because when I am actually jacking off, the mind pounding ones tend to be when I shoot the furthest, when my mind goes hazy and my eyes have trouble reading or focusing on anything and my head droops a few times because of how hard I blew. Usually when I spend more time than normal making sure I found the material I want to get off to and it's new or relatively new content that's better than average, or when there's enough pre that I can feel everything clearly.
So I want to imagine the most satisfying orgasm possible, and multiple times is also a huge turn on. If they've been going all night or pop a lot im short succession that means it's really good and the people are really into it. Anything that denied that or makes the experience less satisfying or weaker like pulling out or preventing cum from going in where it wants is a turn off. Size difference I enjoy because the person being railed is going to feel more of it, even moreso if it's almost the same size as them and it's bottoming out. Big balls of course especially if there's sogns of it moving in reaction to an orgasm. And when there's fellatio which I definitely enjoy more feeling it than looking at it in most cases, I want to see the one blowing it pressing their tongue against the understand and appearing completely entranced or slutty while doing so.
Impreg I enjoy and even mpreg mostly because of the idea that a guy got cum logged enough that they got pregnant anyway. Preggers not because of the idea of having children but the idea that the sex was very successful or that it's proof that the person had a good orgasm. Also when there's internal of the womb completely filled and there's cum pooling down behind the person popped inside that pretty much does it for me.
Knots I really enjoy not only because I've played with toys and found the feeling of it going in really good, and it often goes in right before someone blows, but because being stuck like that means both people guaranteed will still be feeling each other for a good while, especially if the knotter is continuously blowing. I want to imagine how it feels.
And besides forbidden situations which I won't go into detail again, what it really boils down to is that. How satisfying was the experience. No matter how good you feel during an act it is always a let down if the final moment doesn't reach it's peak or doesn't feel as good as it could have. And that is the main idea behind what I enjoy most when it comes to horny art. That is my "kink". Orgasm denial I don't mind so much as long as it is temporary and a promise of a big blow out later within the same session, cause I do find if I hold it in it ups the pressure when I do finally get off and I shoot further and get close to blacking out or get dizzy doing so. That is my very yes.
And I do have a bit of voyeur in me so when I know someone else is getting off and it's because me I also find that very hot. And most art of maws especially if there are bits on the micro rubbing against the huge tongue, that I can find pretty hot too. Abdominal bulge, if I can see the shape of the dong inside then I find that hot too because it's proof the person taking it probably feels a lot. And logically it'd probably hurt if that were the case but pr0n is not always about how it'd feel in reality. Cervical pen I enjoy because of how far reaching the person pushing it in is pressing, and popping directly into the womb I also find extremely hot. Again reality plays no part here.
I see all of this as vanilla kinks because they aren't "weird", it is very easy to understand why it is appealing. But vanilla implies that it is very boring. I don't have an easy button people can press by word of mouth or by feet or blow kisses or maws. So it can be very difficult to get me off sometimes, especially since when I'm holding back an orgasm or trying not to hold back an orgasm, in both cases if the lead up doesn't go anywhere special enough for me to let go, then I probably won't. Everything is so reliant on the sensation and the sensation gets old or I popped too many times from masturbating that I can't get off while in the presence of someone else.

Legiones Astartes: Rome 30,0000 - Electric Boogaloo - Part 1
It’s been several years since I did my informational posts on warp travel and threats to humanity in the 40k universe, and I was feeling particularly motivated so here’s a quick, dirty guide to where it all started. The bois that everyone in 40k loves (or loves to hate), the Astartes!
In the far off future of the 31st millennium, humanity has just recovered from nearly beating itself into extinction yet again, and the after effects of space elves blowing a permanent hole in reality after the biggest party the galaxy has ever seen. After thousands of years of plotting and planning, the Emperor of Mankind decided the time was right, sorted everyone’s shit out on Earth, and set out to make the galaxy a safer place for humanity. Whether anyone wanted it or not. To do this, he mustered tens of thousands of super soldiers, lead by men who were basically demi-gods, and sent them forth across the stars in what was known as the Great Crusade. This is the story of the sons of the sons, the Primarchs can have their own post another day.
Numero Uno, the the First Legion, the Dark Angels. Clad in black and silver armor, the Dark Angels were the first marines to be created. Between that and their assistance with retaking the Earth prior to the Great Crusade, they were allowed special permissions later Legions did not have. In particular, they had access to some of the oldest, strangest, and sometimes horrifying bits of technology that the Emperor had stashed away for a rainy day. Even 10k years later in 40k, the Angels still uphold that privilege, and if things ever get completely and truly fucked, they’ve got a few aces up their sleeves just in case. Owing to the culture of their adoptive homeworld, Caliban, the Dark Angels have a strong knightly aesthetic, as well as plenty of ranks, titles, and associated iconography so everyone can know what kind of badass you are.
Second ISN’T the Second Legion. Something bad happened to them and no one is allowed to talk about it. It’s actually the THIRD LEGION, the Emperor’s Children! Among the Legions, the Emperor’s Children had the unique distinction of being allowed to wear his personal emblem on their armor and carry his name. This was the Emperor’s gift to them after a company of them serving as honor guards during a victory parade, where they protected the Emperor from an assassination attempt involving a black hole bomb. The Emperor’s Children were perfectionists: anything that can be done can be done better, and they could get a bit salty when their brother Legions out-did them. Beyond that, they were renowned for their artistic skills, as well as their interpersonal skills with ‘mortal’ humans. While many marines either didn’t care for regular humans, or straight up disliked them, the Third Legion got along quite well with people, to the point they were often sent as diplomats to introduce long-lost planets of humans into the Imperium peacefully.
The Fourth Legion, completely unrelated to Marvel, were the Iron Warriors. To the Fourth Legion, war is entirely a matter of numbers. While other Legions fight with spirit, ferocity, nobility, the Iron Warriors fight with a machine-like efficiency and calculated planning. Rivals of the Seventh Legion, the Iron Warriors were particularly fond of siege-tactics. They’d bombard their foes with massed artillery, push in with columns of tanks, and hit critical points with forces of marines, changing tactics along the way as the variables shifted. While they took pride in their accomplishments, cold personalities and a ruthless fighting style didn’t make them many friends. Combined with feeling like they didn’t get much recognition for their efforts, often being stuck with some of the worst fights, the Iron Warriors tended to resent most of the other Legions. But no matter how tough, no matter how ugly, they would not bend, for the Iron Warriors always completed a task given to them.
Next in line, we have the Fifth Legion, the White Scars. Possessed of free spirits and a healthy dose of superstition, the White Scars preferred style of combat was: as quickly as physically possible. Whenever possible, they would ride to battle on anti-grav jet-bikes or speeders. Lacking that, on traditional motor bikes. Reminiscent of Mongolian horse riders, the White Scars fought from their mounts as often as they could, enjoying every moment of it, even if death might come at them at a few hundred miles per hour. Considered odd by most of their brother Legions, the Scars’ aloof personalities and plans divined by seers often saw them tearing about the galaxy in smaller warbands. Never staying in one place for long, they roamed wherever the winds of fate would take them.
Continuing on, the moment you’ve all been waiting for: SKYRIM STILL EXISTS. But really, the Sixth Legion, the Space Wolves. It doesn’t take much to explain these boys, the Space Wolves were vikings in space. They could be a bit dense, were prone to showing off, loved getting into fights, and even invented a kind of alcohol that could get marines drunk. In peace, they could be a bit rough around the edges but were jovial types. Beyond that however, the Wolves had a much more notorious side. While their brothers would mock them at times for being a bit ‘simple’, they were also feared as the Emperor’s hounds. If someone fucked up somewhere in the galaxy, the Wolves were the sent to deal the punishment. Typically, this involved plenty of axes and other people’s heads. While unconfirmed even 10k years later, it is rumored that the Space Wolves were responsible for reaving both the Second and Eleventh Legions at the Emperor’s command. Whatever they did must have been horrible, for it resulted in the culling of tens of thousands of marines and two demi-god primarchs. So remember kids, tug on the wolf’s tail at your own peril.
Eternal rivals to the Fourth Legion, here comes the Seventh Legion, the Imperial Fists. While not as bitter as their brothers in the Fourth, the Fists shared a lot of similarities with them. Blunt, no-nonsense, analytical, monumentally stubborn, fond of hitting their foes as hard as possible, on the surface the two seemed quite alike. But while the Iron Warriors were frequently unconcerned with what happened after their battles, grinding entire cities into dust, the Imperial Fists would always build and fortify. Wherever they passed, they would leave their mark in the form of walls, repaired cities, and forts to ensure their hold. This earned them the distinction of being recalled late in the Crusade to oversee the fortification of the entire Solar System. The reclamation of the galaxy was nearly complete, and it was their task to ensure that Terra would be able to withstand anything the universe could throw at it from that point forward. At least, that was the idea...
What stalks the night, strikes fear into the hearts of the unjust, and has bat wings? Move over Bruce Wayne, it’s the Eighth Legion, the Night Lords. Among the Legions, the Night Lords were unique in the fact that they did not operate like a traditional army. Unlike other Legions, the Night Lords’ favorite method of fighting was to strike fear and terror into their enemies. Considered brutal and sadistic even in the early days, the Night Lords would ‘pacify’ star systems by cutting off supply lines, destroying infrastructure, terrorizing civilians, and savagely breaking their enemy’s will before finishing the job. Known for taking bone trophies, using blood as paint, painting their armor with skulls, and even fashioning people’s faces into tea cozies, there were very few in the Imperium that genuinely liked the Night Lords. In fact, late into the Crusade they were even risking censure or a visit from the Space Wolves. But as they maintained from their inception: they were a necessary evil. Not everyone in the galaxy was reasonable. Some didn’t even respect the immense might of the Astartes. There were some that would only listen to fear. And the poor buggers that wouldn’t even listen to that? They would be made into examples, slowly, painfully, and without any remorse.
A breath of fresh air from the Night Lords, the Ninth Legion, the Blood Angels. Where the Night Lords were immensely cruel, showcasing some of the worst humanity had to offer, the Blood Angels showed some of the best. Kindness, nobility, flowing golden locks of hair with slight curls, using their strength to protect the weak, seeing the goodness in others, the Blood Angels were quite human for heavily augmented super-soldiers. Well, they did have one teensy little problem. Just a bit of casual bloodlust that could leave them going into a frenzy now and then (sometimes even drinking blood) if they didn’t keep their tempers in check. However, largely due to their own self-discipline they were able to keep this fact a secret for the most part.
Last (for now, don’t want this to be the next Color of the Sky post), but definitely not the least, the Tenth Legion, the Iron Hands. While the Iron Warriors have a very mechanical way of thinking, and a strong affinity for tech, the Iron Hands take this to a completely new level. To them, anything could be improved by mechanizing it, up to and frequently including themselves. The Hands were notorious for heavily modifying themselves, and had more tanks than any other Legion, tied only with the Iron Warriors. Ironically for a Legion obsessed with machinery, the Iron Hands are also possessed of a volatility only shared by their brothers in the Sixth and the Twelfth Legions. In contrast to the cool, collected rationality of machines, Astartes of the Iron Hands were notoriously hot-headed and liable to making rash decisions if they lost their tempers. This alternating clash frequently manifested as contempt for their own ‘weakness’, but also as contempt for others, resulting in the Iron Hands keeping very few friends, even amongst themselves.

5, 6, 7 & 8 for OTP asks with Hiccanna!!
HELL YEAH BRO
Soulmate AU: Who is eager to meet their soulmate? Who absolutely does not want to meet their soulmate?
Anna, hopeless romantic and “true love” fanatic that she is, is incredibly down to meet her soulmate. One of her biggest fears is being inherently unlovable and that no one will ever love her for who she is (parents dying and sister shunning you has to leave some abandonment issues babyyyy), so she takes a lot of comfort in the idea of a soulmate--at least one person is basically certain to love her, right?
Hiccup, meanwhile, is apathetic at best and annoyed by the idea of a higher power dictating who his girlfriend is at worst. Unlike Anna, he doesn’t really fear no one will ever really love him for who he is--rather, he just accepts it as fact. Growing up with no friends and an emotionally-distant father, Hiccup came to believe that he was never going to feel the kind of deep, boundless love he’d seen between other people--and he made his peace with it. Being a more introverted scientist and inventor-type, Hiccup tends to spend a lot of time alone anyways and believes (maybe not fully accurately) that he prefers it that way. Besides, the logician in him thinks the whole “magic cosmic soulmate” thing is probably bullshit, and he just can’t figure out how something like soulmates could ever be backed or supported by modern science. Ultimately, Hiccup figures he’s going to date who he’s going to date (if he can even find any girls who are interested, that is), and he really couldn’t care less what the stars have to say about it.
When Hiccup and Anna do finally meet, and eventually start dating (knowing how shy and awkward they’d both be about confessing, it would take months to years after them meeting to actually get together, even in a goddamn soulmate AU), it isn’t revealed that they’re soulmates right away. Maybe it’s revealed by their hearts glowing a certain color when they first realize they’re in love with the other person? Idk.
When Anna finds out they’re soulmates, she’s absolutely stoked. Like the girl probably runs around their home for a solid 15 minutes planning a soulmate reveal party or something. Hiccup, meanwhile, is just kind of like “Oh! Neat!” and then immediately goes back to whatever he was doing XD
Anna is a bit hurt that Hiccup is so, ah...unconcerned about them being literally destined to be together. She’s mainly worried that it means that he doesn’t like...cherish their connection enough and whatnot. After he picks up on the fact that she’s kind of upset about his definitive lack of a strong reaction to the whole thing, he explains to her that he didn’t really care because he’d 100% date Anna whether or not she was his soulmate. Saying their souls were deeply connected was basically just putting a formal title on what he already knew.
And Anna has to take a minute, because honestly? Hiccup confidently saying he’d be with her in any reality, even one where he risks angering cosmic forces to do so, is actually much more romantic than them being supposedly “fated for each other” since the beginning.
Single parent AU: Which one is the single parent? (Alt. if they’re both single parents: Which one is open to starting a new relationship from the start? Which one is never planning on finding love again… Until they meet the other and are instantly smitten?)
I think I’ll have Zephyr and Nuffink be the single parent kids because I Just Think They’re Neat! That, and I honestly can’t bear to make lovechildren for Anna with anyone but Hiccup XD (those of you who know me will know making Krist/anna lovechildren in any context is RIGHT OUT).
So in this AU things didn’t work out with Astrid and Hiccup is pretty heartbroken over it :( I imagine she ultimately left him because she wasn’t really feeling the spark anymore, and they have joint custody of the kids. Meanwhile, Hiccup and Anna were neighbors growing up, and were pretty close friends as kids until Anna moved away and they lost touch. She eventually comes back to their hometown as an adult, and she and Hiccup reconnect. They’re also both like “ah shit, my old buddy got HOT” XD
I actually think Anna and Zephyr would really hit it off, mainly because Anna sees a lot of what she loves the most about Hiccup in Zephyr. Zephyr has Hiccup’s anxiety, cynicism, inventive streak, overall social awkwardness--and because Anna knows Hiccup so well and knows how to best accommodate all of his quirks and oddities, it’s not hard for her to extrapolate how best to befriend a younger version of him XD Zephyr, meanwhile, has had trouble befriending kids her age due to her bluntness and general “nerdiness,” so she’s always happy to find someone who accepts her unconditionally and takes a genuine interest in her wacky inventions--even if it’s her dad’s new girlfriend, who by all accounts should be a weird person for her to get close to XD Zephyr also devours science books like they’re going out of style, and is very pleased that Anna is more than happy to listen to her ramble on and on about random science trivia. Zeph still loves her biological mom, for sure, but she starts thinking of Anna as a second mom. She brags to all the kids at school that she has two moms, which leaves them very confused and wondering if Astrid ended up marrying another woman after she divorced Hiccup (which, to be fair, wouldn’t be entirely out of character).
Nuffink, meanwhile, is a little more unsure about the whole situation, if mainly because I headcanon him as a bit of a mama’s boy. He doesn’t dislike Anna so much as he’s just...wary of her, and doesn’t know how to feel about his dad falling in love with someone who isn’t his mom. He also can’t help but feel out-of-place when he, Zephyr, Hiccup, and Anna go out on “family outings” because he kind of looks like he doesn’t belong. With her reddish-brown hair, her blue eyes, her aundance of freckles, and her fondness for wearing twin braids, Zephyr could definitely pass as Anna’s daughter (I’ve even seen Anna used as an older version of Zephyr in video edits, which is hilariously ironic). Although Nuffink has his dad’s eyes, he very much has his biological mom’s hair and doesn’t look like he’s related to Anna at all.
I think what helps them finally bond is that they both have a love of combat! Nuffink definitely does some kind of martial arts or fencing training if he can access it, and Anna is more than happy to teach him some swordplay and spar with him if he wants! Because Sword Anna is best Anna, fight me. Nuffink is also open-minded enough that hey, if his cool big sister likes someone that much, she can’t be that bad. Hiccup is just...continually super impressed with how much Anna knows about fighting--and it makes him fall all the more in love with her, because he loves that in a woman XD Once Nuffink warms up to Anna, he’s constantly trying to impress her ith how tough he is--mostly shown by him ramming his head into walls. Poor Anna worries about Nuffink a lot XD
I imagine there’s a little bit of tension between Anna and Astrid in this AU. Not really because Astrid resents Hiccup moving on--she’s actually pretty happy for Hiccup that he found someone better suited for him than her--but more because she worries Anna is trying to replace her as the kids’ “true mom” XD Anna, meanwhile, can’t help but resent Astrid a little for breaking Hiccup’s heart and doesn’t get why they kids can’t just have two moms! The more people who love them, the better, right???
I don’t imagine Anna and Hiccup having any biological kids in this AU, because I think two stepkids would be plenty for Anna! Of course, since Zephyr and Nuffink are Hiccup’s, she loves them with all her being and tries to be the best stepmom she can be. But I think having more than two kids would stress Anna’s ADHD ass the fuck out, and she doesn’t strike me as the sort of person who would feel a need to have biological kids with Hiccup if she already had Nuffink and Zephyr to parent. Our girl is perfectly happy adopting!
Doctor AU: Which one is the longsuffering doctor? Which one is the patient?
Hiccup is the long-suffering doctor, although not entirely by choice. Often he wonders if being a doctor is actually what he wanted, but his dad was like “WELL SON! YOU’RE SMART, SO YOU GOTTA BE A DOCTOR SO YOU MAKE BIG BUCKS!” (I’m headcanoning in this AU Stoick is a professional athlete of some kind, and has made BANK since he was young. He can’t really conceive of his son NOT pursuing a well-paid profession). Hiccup doesn’t really want to disappoint his rather intimidating dad, so he goes along with it.
It’s not that he dislikes it, when all is said and done. He does care about people and wants to help them, although he hides it underneath about 10 layers of snark. Still, it’s stressful and thankless work, and often he worries about whether he took the right path. Too late to pursue something else now, he supposes.
Then he meets Anna, rushed to the ICU with a collection of third-degree electrical burns. She tried to plug all of her Christmas light strings into the same power strip, and uh...it did not go well. Hiccup is there monitoring her vitals when she wakes up, and she just kind of wearily sighs and admits to him that living on her own wasn’t nearly as fun or exciting as she thought it would be. As it turned out, Anna had insisted she could be trusted with putting up her apartment’s holiday decorations, and she very much should not have been.
Anna ends up having to stay a couple weeks. She needs a small skin graft (yeah, she fucked herself up THAT bad), and then needs a bit of time for the surgery wounds to heal. Hiccup is assigned to do checkups on her regularly, and starts to look forward to it. Her perky disposition (despite being stuck in the hospital with burn wounds) is contagious, and she never fails to make him laugh after a long, draining shift. As stressful as his job is, Anna becomes his one respite.
He has to admit, it’s nice to have at least one thing to look forward to.
Hiccup is a little sad to see Anna go. Of course, bumbling, socially awkward foot-in-mouth fool that he is, he doesn’t have the courage to ask for her number so they can keep in touch. That would, uh...probably be unprofessional or something. Besides, it would probably crush his heart and soul if she was weirded out by his soft spot for her so like...maybe best not to even open himself up to the possibility.
Then, not two weeks later, Anna shows up at the hospital again--this time having broken three bones in a hiking accident. Apparently she got too excited about a particularly nice view, and toppled right off the top of a very steep bluff. He, once again, takes on her care, and is delighted (albeit guiltily) to have her back. He, once again, has something to make work not suck as much!
Oddly enough, this turns out to be the first of many hiking accidents. Anna comes in next month claiming to have nearly burned her arm off in a rogue campfire, and then again the next month claiming to have been mauled by a bear (although Hiccup is pretty sure those bleeding gashes were just left by a very big dog, and Anna is too embarrassed to admit it). Odder still, Hiccup distinctly remembers talking to Anna during her first hospital stay about how much he loved hiking and the outdoors, and now all of her new string of injuries just happen to be hiking-related. He can’t help but be baffled about how her insurance even covers all of this, but apparently having a family lineage distantly related to Norwegian royalty has its perks.
On roughly her 7th hospital stay, Hiccup finally gathers up the courage to ask Anna for her number, if only because he figures it would be nice for them to see each other without Anna having to nearly get herself killed first every time XD
Bodyguard AU: Who is the bodyguard? Who are they protecting? Which one is secretly pining for the other?
OMIGOD SO
I HAD AN IDEA FOR THIS
What if Anna was sent to bodyguard Hiccup in an AU where Arendelle is a lot more militaristic???
Basically what I'm thinking is that this is in an alternate timeline, Hiccup didn't injure Toothless's tail when he shot him down. The beginning of HTTYD plays out the same, but Toothless can still fly and just yeets off after Hiccup frees him, supposedly never to be seen again. However, this still leads Hiccup to believe he may not be dragon-fighting material after all. The poor boy still yearns to find a way to prove his worth to Berk, though.
As Hiccup gets older, his strength doesn't really improve, and it becomes clear to Stoick that he's always going to be pretty scrawny. Because of this, he's hesitant to put Hiccup in dragon training for the sake of his son's own safety--and hey, Hiccup seems to have lost interest in dragon-fighting anyhow, so it's not like Hiccup will fight him on it. Nonetheless, the dragon raids are getting worse, and Stoick worries about Hiccup being able to protect himself at all. Knowing most of the older villagers are busy with dragon-fighting and other jobs, and honestly doubting any of the village's teenagers would protect Hiccup if push came to shove, Stoick sends out an appeal of sorts to neighboring villages and kingdoms requesting a bodyguard for his skinny disaster of a son.
Back in Arendelle, shut-in princess Anna is surprised yet intrigued when a messenger from the Viking village of Berk shows up at Elsa's coronation. In a timeline where Hans and Anna don’t have their chance encounter, Hans sets his wooing sights on the newly-crowned Queen Elsa (and fails), and no push ends up being strong enough to make Elsa lose control of her powers at the ceremony. Anna, however, still feels hurt by her sister’s seemingly reasonless rebuke earlier in the evening and finds herself aching to explore the world outside her castle and be close with someone--anyone--again.
When the Viking messenger requests a bodyguard for the Chief of Berk’s son, Anna is quick to volunteer. The messenger scoffs at first, but to his surprise, the soft-looking princess isn’t entirely unqualified. She filled many of her long, empty childhood hours training with the Arendelle guard, and her swordplay is admirable. To prove her worth, Anna faces off with one of the Berkian warriors in a duel--and holds her own shockingly well. While Queen Elsa is hesitant to let her sister run off to a faraway nation, Anna vehemently insists that Arendelle doesn’t need two monarchs, and this will be great for diplomatic relations in the long run. Of course, she also longs to explore and get away from the place she’s been trapped her entire life, but Elsa doesn’t need to know that part.
When Anna arrives in Arendelle, Hiccup has absolutely no idea what to make of his new bodyguard. On the one hand, a girl who’s good with a sword is hot, and he’s long since given up on Astrid anyways. On the other hand, Hiccup is definitely irked that his dad sees him as so weak and incapable that he’s the only Viking in the village who needs a full-on bodyguard, and he hates feeling like he’s being babied and coddled (not that this is Anna’s fault). Still, his bodyguard is essentially the only person who’s ever seemed to actually want to be friends with him in...well, his whole life, and honestly? He’ll take it.
Anna, meanwhile, still aching for love and connections of really any kind, is nigh-instantly smitten. His brains, his creativity, his constant snide jokes, his snark-coated good heart, his weird, messy hairdo--all of it has an 18-year-old Anna completely over the moon. Hiccup, feeling hopeless in the world of romance after being rejected by Astrid, is honestly just relieved to finally have a friend--to the point that it doesn’t even occur to him that Anna’s a girlfriend option.
Not long after she arrives in Berk, Anna is put into dragon training to prepare for raids. She does a bit of training of her own with Hiccup, teaching him some swordplay to try and boost his confidence. It’s not hard to tell that he has mixed feelings about having to have a protector, and Anna hopes that by teaching him some basic fighting skills he can at least feel a little better if he’s ever in a situation where she isn’t there to defend him.
As she gets deeper into her dragon training, Anna asks Hiccup why he never gave dragon training a go. Granted, him being as physically small as he is would be a disadvantage, but he could still learn to hold his own decently well using speed and stealth. It would help him be able to protect himself, if nothing else. Hiccup seems very reluctant to talk about the whole subject, but he says Anna needs to trust that he knows he can’t kill dragons. He tends to give the shortest answers possible to her questions, and nigh-instantly changes the subject. When Anna presses too much, he gets snippy.
As they get closer, Hiccup finally opens up to Anna about the time he shot down a Night Fury and couldn’t bring himself to make the final kill. He admits to cutting the creature free, and how the dragon nearly killed him--only to spare Hiccup just as Hiccup had spared him. “I saw more than just a ruthless killer when I looked into that dragon’s eye,” Hiccup tells her. “I saw myself. I think there’s so much more to them than anyone knows, but...you’re the only person I feel like would actually give me the benefit of the doubt on that.”
During the next raid, Anna pays closer attention to the dragons than before. She watches how they interact with the villagers, and notice that they never seem to go out of their way to go after people. They only fight Vikings when Vikings initiate, and the dragons’ main concern always seems to be taking sheep and fish. Left to their own devices, they don’t seem to want to hurt anyone.
Unfortunately, Anna standing off to the side and trying to watch what all the dragons are doing leaves her distracted--and vulnerable. She’s not prepared for a camouflaged changewing to melt out of the wall behind her, whipping around and backing her into a corner. Anna grabs for her sword but can hardly move, frozen in terror as the massive dragon stares her down.
She holds up an arm, bracing herself for a wall of fire, but none comes. There’s a swish of wings and a gust of wind blows her back. When she looks up, the dragon is gone.
It would’ve been beyond easy for the dragon to kill her. The creature clearly saw her--could have taken advantage in her moment of frozen stupor and burned her to a crisp. And yet...the dragon spared her. Just like the Night Fury had spared Hiccup.
Anna realizes Hiccup might be onto something.
Together, Hiccup and Anna decide they’re going to get to the bottom of what dragons are really like--and why they’re stealing the village’s food. While claiming to go out for “battle practice,” Hiccup and Anna track down dragons and study them in secret--observing them, writing about them, seeing how they behave and how they interact with one another. They’re surprised by what they see: left to their own devices, dragons are good-natured and compassionate, and they take care of their own. Strangely, they never seem to feed the stolen food to their young. Hiccup predicts they’re not actually keeping it for themselves, and taking it somewhere nigh unreachable for humans. For what actual purpose is anyone’s guess.
Anna starts using the info she gathers observing dragons with Hiccup in dragon-training. She finds ways to sooth them and calm them down in the ring by using things they seem to enjoy in the wild. Scented grass, bits of fish, soft touches, slow, gentle movements. The village marvels at her newfound skills, and can’t help but wonder where she developed such a knack for controlling dragons despite spending basically all her time around “Stoick’s little runt.” She couldn’t be training with him, of all people...could she? Astrid, for one, is definitely none too pleased about her spot at the top of the class being threatened.
Meanwhile, Anna and Hiccup can’t help but grow fond of the dragons they watch. They start becoming more bold, and leaving snacks of trout and mutton for the scaled creatures. Anna is delighted when the food ends up attracting none other than what she’s pretty sure is the same changewing who spared her, as well as a curious snaptrapper. She’s never gotten to see a snaptrapper up close before, and is completely undeterred by the triple-jawed four heads. Rather, she is far more preoccupied with coming up with the perfect name for each head.
“Omigod, he’s so PRETTY! And he smells like CHOCOLATE!”
“...you know they probably emit that scent to lure in prey so they can slice it in three, right?”
“CHOCOLATE, HICCUP!!!”
With each new meal, the local dragons grow more and more comfortable with Hiccup and Anna. After a while, the changewing and the snaptrapper even let Anna touch their noses. Anna falls in love with watching the changewing seem to melt around the forest as she camouflages, and rolling in the mud with the snaptrapper after a summer storm. Hiccup starts catching what seems to be glimpses of the Night Fury he freed, and it appears that the curious creature has come back to investigate him.
The Night Fury appears more and more, drawn in by Hiccup’s trout feast. Hiccup notices the dragon’s wing is injured, likely shot by someone from the village. Although he’s not completely helpless, he’s having trouble. Hiccup sets to work on his most daring project yet--making a “brace” of sorts that can mend the ripped wing.
When Hiccup and Anna attempt to distract the Night Fury long enough to climb up and put the wing brace on, something unexpected happens. The dragon shoots up to the sky, both unwitting passengers clinging onto his tail for dear life.
Once they get their bearings and clamber up to his back, the Night Fury (who Hiccup has nicknamed “Toothless” for his retractable teeth) takes them on a flight through the clouds. Unable to help herself, Anna laces her arms around Hiccup’s waist--if only so she can supposedly “hold on better.”
Hiccup, of course, still doesn’t get it.
The flight takes a sinister turn when Toothless takes them to the dragon nest, and Hiccup finally gets his answer about where all of the villages food has been going--to their queen. Unsure what to do or how to free their new friends from the Red Death, Hiccup and Anna promise each other one thing or sure--none of the rest of Berk can know about the dragon nest. If they attack it, it spells disaster for both dragons and Vikings--not to mention the question of how they got there is sure to dig up their secret dragon-related activities as of late.
With each dragon raid, Anna finds herself more and more reluctant to fight dragons--especially now that she knows what’s actually going on. She only does the bare minimum to protect the food and the village, never going out of her way to attack a dragon or landing a killing blow (although by this point, she’d definitely be skilled enough to). During one particularly intense raid, Anna is finding it harder and harder to fend dragons off without doing lethal damage. While driving out a particularly tenacious monstrous nightmare, Anna happens upon the same changewing she’s befriended in the forest, limping to safety.
It would be incredibly easy to finish the dragon off, but Anna refuses. The dragon knows she’s beat, and so Anna lets her leave without so much as a swing of the princess’s sword.
Unfortunately, Astrid sees.
After the raid, Astrid storms up to Anna and chews her out in front of the whole village, yelling about how weak she was to not go for a dragon kill when she had the chance. It turns out Astrid’s also been noticing Anna going intentionally easy on the dragons, and how much the Arendelle princess seems to hold back when fighting him. Astrid knows it’s not physical incompetence, or a lack of skill--she’s seen Anna subdue plenty of dragons in training.
No, it seems to be the princess’s heart that’s weak. Her kingdom must be nothing but a bunch of bleeding-hearted morons, and she’ll never be tough enough to really belong in Berk.
As he watches Astrid yell and the Berkians all turn to sneer at the scene, Hiccup feels a sudden rush of protectiveness for his friend. Tears are starting to form in the corners of her eyes, and something gives in him seeing her subjected to the very ostracization that left him completely alone for so many years.
He walks up beside Anna, and suddenly he’s shouting like he’s never quite had the courage to before.
“You’re wrong, Astrid! You’re all wrong!”
Before long, he’s spilling everything--how dragons are intelligent and caring creatures, how they’re only stealing food to feed a ruthless queen, how he’s sure humans have killed far more dragons than vice versa. The village stares, horrified. When Stoick storms forward, Hiccup and Anna know it’s nothing good.
Stoick is disgusted. The very bodyguard he had brought all the way out to Berk to give his son strength did nothing but fill Hiccup’s head with softness and dangerous lies. He banishes Anna, warning her never to set foot in Berk or speak to his son again.
Hiccup will not have it. He says if Anna’s leaving, he’s coming with her. He’s made his choice, and he’s standing by the only person who ever really treated him with unconditional love and kindness.
“Fine,” Stoick says simply. “We’ll be rid of two traitors, then.”
Cast out from Berk, Hiccup and Anna find themselves with a new mission: Find the nest before the rest of Berk does, and take out the Red Death once and for all.
With the help of Toothless, the Changewing (who Anna has nicknamed “Flicker”), and the Snaptrapper (whose heads Anna have very creatively named Leafy, Greeny, Spiky, and Badbreath. It’s beyond Hiccup how she tells all of them apart, but she’s very adamant about which is which.), they find the dragon hive again, and attempt the impossible--attacking the queen. It seems hopeless at first, but once more and more malcontented dragons see what they’re doing, they join in and rebel.
It’s a tough fight, but the two humans and the revolting dragons come out on top. Not before the Red Death has one last hurrah, though--letting out a final, massive blast of fire that knocks Hiccup askew and sends him tumbling down into the flames. Toothless, Flicker, Anna, and the Snaptrapper dive after, and are quickly engulfed in red and orange.
Meanwhile, the Berkians have sent out ships following Hiccup, Anna, and their dragons, guessing the nest is where they were headed. By the time they get there, the fight is over--and Stoick and Gobber just manage to catch a glimpse of Hiccup plummeting into the flames.
Anna screams Hiccup’s name until the smoke burns her throat so much she can’t anymore. She remembers swooping underneath him and just managing to grab hold of his limp body before everything goes dark.
When she comes to later, it’s still dark--but she feels something soft and warm in her arms, and feels scales pressed against her back. Her arm is searing with pain, but she barely notices it as her eyes adjust to the darkness. Hiccup is curled up against her--groaning, but alive.
Not sure she’ll ever get another chance, she puts a hand on his cheek and finally tells him the truth. “I love you.”
He opens his eyes and looks, gaze shocked until a slow realization washes over him. He smiles. “I love you, too.”
They both pass out, still wrapped up in each other.
When the flames clear, Stoick sees what looks like a pile of dragons, all pressed together with their wings folded in. Slowly, they lift their wings to reveal two humans--charred in places, but alive.
Wracked with guilt, Stoick realizes he was wrong. Hiccup’s new bodyguard helped his son become stronger and braver than the chief of Berk ever imagined.
It turns out taking down the queen saved the dragons and the humans, and thanks to Hiccup, Anna, and their dragon friends, Berk will never have to worry about dragon raids again.
It turns out Hiccup’s leg and Anna’s arm didn’t quite make it out of the fire. Luckily, Gobber has always been handy at prosthetics--and Hiccup manages to make a fairly dextrous and functional metal hand for Anna. Anna is utterly delighted with how cool it looks.
After the whole Red Death incident, it’s decided that Hiccup is probably competent enough that he doesn’t need his own bodyguard anymore. Nonetheless, Anna is welcome to stay in Berk as long as she likes. And with new dragon friends and an incredibly cute new boyfriend, she’s not going anywhere anytime soon!

This is in reference to this post! I’ve already done these questions for Moanida. Theoretically still willing to do any questions I haven’t yet for Hiccanna and Moanida, although these were exhausting to write out so I might not give as long of answers XD

Shaw & Skadi for the kid meme!
Name: Sigvid Skadisson Shaw. I know it should be Shawson BUT FUCK THE RULES. “Sig” is a pretty standard prefix for a lot of Norse names from the word “sigr” meaning “victory” and “vid” from the Old Germanic “widu” for forest. Gender: Masc and male-presenting but beyond that I’m not sure? Trans man? AMAB non-binary? Look, he uses he/him (maybe they too) and people THINK ‘man’ when they look at him, that’s all I know General Appearance: Tall and beefy, he couldn’t NOT be. Medium pale skin that gets even paler in winter but tans easily in summer. Black hair, or so dark brown it might as well be black, and very dark eyes. His hair, unlike both parents and most of his Asgardian brethren, is actually kept short, and while he has a beard, it’s not the big one. The reason for this is functional; short hair is better if you’re spending a lot of time in the wild. Stuff gets stuck in long hair, it can get tangled in branches at the worst times, it’s hot in the summer, and it can literally freeze in the winter if it gets wet. His attire is very much out of a Viking fantasy, but less on the “heavy armor” end of things and more on the “wearing lots of furs and skins” side. He doesn’t look like someone you want to fuck with, but he also doesn’t look like he’s going to war. He carefully avoids any kind of dangling amulets, charms, or other jewelry that could get caught on anything, but he’s got a sort of leather toolbelt containing various survival tools made from wood, bone, etc. Personality: Sigvid, as you might guess from his attire and the reasons for it, is an outdoorsman. Not as a hobby, not as a lifestyle, but an EXISTENCE. He thrives in the natural world as Sebastian does in the business world, finding ways to survive in even the most adverse of situation. Whatever Mother Nature is doing around him, he can not only make it through it, he can work it to his advantage. His closeness to the natural world, his close observation of it, means that he sees both the facts and errors in his father’s mentality. He sees that the strongest predators will pick off the weakest prey, that the winter will take those who do not prepare, that mother animals will neglect and even devour their young if they’re sick or runty. He also sees that prey are more aggressive than predators, how some creatures will adopt and nourish infants that are not their own or even their own species, how some will share their kill with no benefit to themselves, and how even the smallest and most humble animals can make it through things that the larger, so-called stronger ones did not. Sigvid is very pragmatic, like his father, very practical, very self-preservationist. He has to be. But he’s also very spiritual, not in a way that connects to some distant god, but the world around him, to earth and nature. Not some idealized hippie-dippie conception of nature as a loving mother that is always in balance, but an acceptance that it is a greater power that he cannot control, he can only hope to survive at best. It keeps him humble. It also gives him a much wider, more relative perspective on things that is not human-centric, or Asgardian-centric for that matter. My Shaw often says that he admires human accomplishments above all else, that no other animal has built cities, computers, cars, and so on. And he is correct in this. But Sigvid always points out, how many termite mounds has man built? How many times do humans migrate thousands of miles using an innate sense of the Earth’s magnetic fields? How many fish have we hunted by literally sensing the electricity in their bodies? Yes, humans are “the best” if we judge them by standards HUMANS MADE. Judge us by the base standard of any other species, and we flop. Same for judging any species by the standards of any other. Nothing is “more” or “less” evolved than anything else, more complex does not mean better, and nor does being bigger, stronger, meaner, or even smarter mean a species is “better” or “more evolved” either. Survival of the fittest is not about that, nor about individuals; it’s about how well a species fits its environment and niche. A slime mold is just as evolved as a person. Sigvid is very passionate about this, though he’s not the type to speak up most of the time; he’s stoic and saturnine, used to keeping his mouth closed and his thoughts to himself, because most of the time there’s no one to talk to. And that also means he’s learned to exist without the validation and approval of others---ironically, something that is much like his father, learned in a completely different environment.
A lot of this, obviously, comes from Skadi. He was at side her since infancy learning to hunt and track, learning the difference between wood sorrel and white clover, how to tell when a moose is about to charge, and what it means when the woods go quiet. This connects deeply to Skadi’s Jotunn side in particular, which in Norse lore are thought to have symbolized the inherently chaotic and uncontrollable nature of, well, nature! Though Sigvid would not, nature it’s chaotic, it’s actually very ordered, people just don’t bother to understand what’s inconvenient to them. But where he differs from Skadi is that he’s not a Disney princess. Animals don’t hang out with him. He doesn’t nurse injured creatures back to health. He doesn’t keep pets. He does not see them as friends. They are not less than him, but they are not allies, they are beings he co-exists with, avoids, or eats. At least, until a thylacine started hanging out with him. Yeah, a thylacine. The extinct Tasmanian tiger. Who knows where it came from or why he’s attached itself to him, but he’s very adamant she’s not a pet and he hasn’t named her, but she is THERE. Sometimes. She isn't at his side like a dog, it's more she's following him from a distance and she pokes her head out from the trees somewhere. She's not a pet. She's more a parasite. But unlike Shaw, Sigvid doesn't use that term in a bad way, and he's fine with her presence. He's just curious where the hell an extinct Australian animal came from? Obviously, Sigvid is not interacting with people a lot, but when he does, he’s far less awkward or boisterous than people expect. He doesn’t have the overt weirdness people expect from a hermit, nor the bombastic warrior cliché of an Asgardian, or the vicious stereotype of a Jotunn. He has a quiet but overwhelming elegance, not like an aristocrat but like a great stag emerging from the forest. He chooses his words carefully, and can say much with just a few. He walks the middle ground between judging by individuals and judging by species; he does a little of both. He has preconceptions and generalities that he believes in about each group, but also believes in room for exception. After all, he’s not what a lot of people expect, is he? Despite this, he’s frequently misread as disliking people, but he doesn’t. He is utterly neutral on them, he just prefers his own way of life. Likewise, he tends to be very neutral towards individuals, and this also is often misread as dislike. One thing he does dislike though, is when people try to endear themselves to him by talking about how they agree animals are better than people, or say stuff like you know only man kills for pleasure. . . .this actually just annoys him. Firstly, a lot of animals do kill for pleasure. Secondly, when people say animals/nature is better than people. . . .they’re forgetting that people---humans, Asgardians, Jotunn---are animals too. This is just another way people, of any sort, try to insist they’re something special and different, whether in a negative or positive way. It doesn’t impress him. What impresses him tends to be how well people work within their niche, whatever niche that is. Like Shaw, he doesn’t really judge in terms of conventional morality, but a person’s success----Sigvid’s definition of success is just much wider. Like, maybe you dive for a living---are you a good diver? A great cafeteria worker? The best toilet cleaner in the tri-state area? He admires that and he commends you. When he is angered, he stays quiet, and his response is swift and physical; he either leaves or strikes physically and then leaves. When he feels sufficiently bonded with someone. . . he is still quiet. He appreciates a person who doesn't need to be filling the silences between them to feel comfortable and kinship. And kinship for him is rare, but he's not lonely----just also not adverse to it, as many assume he is. People assume a lot about Sigvid, and most of it is wrong, but he's also very chill with it. Sigvid is a very chill guy.
Special Talents: Besides the obviously mentioned talents for hunting, tracking, foraging, survivalism, and nature knowledge? Many people think he’s some kind of seer because he’s good at predicting storms and such, but actually he’s just very good at reading the signs most people aren’t attuned to. He also presumably has the attributes of Asgardians and Jotuns (super strength, etc) but if he has a mutant power, it has yet to manifest. Also cannot assume a Frost Giant form. Who they like better: Skadi, though eventually he does respect his father for performing so well at what he does
Who they take after more: I think both equally in different ways Personal Head canon: -He really likes amethyst geodes. -He finds a lot of manufactured foods, like chips or snack cakes, to be WAAAAY too strongly salty or sweet for him to stomach, is allergic to Red Dye #40, and he finds the taste of domesticated animals to be weird. - Not much of a dairy person, but ghee is good -Dislikes when people stereotype hillbillies as stupid; as in like, people who are genuinely living in the hills and mountains of the American Southeast, they're an interesting people with their own unique culture like any other group that lives off the land in isolation---which he respects---and not interchangeable with typical rednecks. -He doesn't typically carry anything with him that's not a necessity, if he knows he's going to be seeing people soon, he will pick up knick-knacks he finds in abandoned places and distribute them like a weird Santa Claus. Who, he's met, by the way, and according to him, Father Christmas is something of a badass. - He will always buy your homemade soaps, and I have no idea what he's doing with them. Yes, maybe he's using them in the normal intended way but IM NOT SURE?? - Pops up in art museums. People never expect him to be here, in these cathedrals dedicated to human creation, but he is. I think he views art a bit differently than the average person, but he's there all the same. - He's an Aquarius but there is a LOT of Saturn in his chart - The first Midgard movie he saw was Forrest Gump. He was expecting it to be about something else because of the title, but he enjoyed it and LEARNED THIS DANCE Face Claim: n/a

Miscellaneous A Hat in Time OC’s / Story Drawings
Pic 1 and 2 - I’ve mentioned them several times, whether by name or title, but here they are finally: Aura’s Ancestor, one of the first wielders of time magic and the creator of the Time Pieces, the Aramontresae.
The colors for her clothing were indecisive at the time, that’s why with the purple or black clothing for the two drawings, but I decided to keep both colors canonical. The black would be for their training up until they were chosen to succeed the previous C.E.O. of Time. They never did become that, but were seen as a Time Lord and had done much for the planet in creating the hourglasses.
Pic 3 - Another thing I’ve mentioned, the Zenithdial. This is probably not the final design for its true form, but I figured I’d share.
Pic 4 - Actually an idea from Konan720! I changed it from me to Adult Hat Kid being the one petting Neo though.
Pic 5 - An idea given to me by an irl bff: A bee Rough Patch. According to the folder name, I named this Rough Patch, Comble. Good job me, at least it wasn’t Buck Bumble. I really wouldn’t put it past myself to do that.
I like the concept that was presented to be of being a dead Rough Patch that was essentially hollowed out and made into a beehive where bee’s now live, but I don’t quite love bee’s enough to continue this. I feel like if I got rid of the hive concept while still keeping the honeycomb look, it might take away from the Rough Patch some. So he’ll be staying in my folder forever probably.
Pic 6 - Hey look, something not Subcon related- “But there’s a Rough Patch-” She was born in Alpine, so it doesn’t count (maybe)
Little drawing of Relume with Flauricity and Cramatic tending to a plant.
Pic 7 - Hey, more mentioned content. This time, for Subcon Dweller’s most hated people, the Hunters!
The left design is canon while the right... well, I don’t know. It looks weird to me now (it has been several months since I’ve looked at these designs). These would be the typical uniforms wore amongst the group while they’re on duty and after the Dwellers.
Pic 8 - One of these drawings isn’t like the others- How bad does my traditional show?
Not a w.i.p., but I thought I’d share Snatcher’s humanoid form I drew a few months back. My brain seems to want to draw him as a human late at night and then I’m forced to do it traditionally.
He’s basically wearing a long cloak with a collar that’s similar to the ‘fluff’ he has around his head as a ghost. I was going to give him short hair so it’d be similar to why his fluff is the form it is, but I think if he could have the option to not have short hair like he did because of Vanessa, he would. So with that loss for similar shape, I knew I wanted him to have a funny cloak type thing, so made the top part of it in the shape of his fluff.
Pic 9 - I never thought I’d do it, but I decided to make Moonjumper his own entity in my story, he is no longer under the guise of the Badge Seller. Rest in peace to the joke as always referring to the Badge Seller as Moonjumper. Thankfully, that’s something I broke a long time ago.
So since Moonjumper is no longer the Badge Seller and both are their own being, Moonjumper gets a different personality and I decided to go a little further and give him a slightly different look. He’s still a powerful being, but now reprises the typical thing for most Moonjumper’s everywhere of being stuck in the horizon. He can come to the mortal plane though, typically whenever he wants, but there is a time limit with it. Though this can stack, so since he doesn’t come to the world that often or get into magically induced fights, he has a pretty good time limit on staying.
He’s still aware that he exists in an alternate reality different to the one he was originally from, but he doesn’t recall much of his existence in that one. He knew he was a Prince and that he disliked Vanessa and Snatcher, but nothing more.
I don’t have his entire character down currently as I’m still trying to iron out some details, but know that he might be nice, but he still has a wicked side. Who knows what spirit he could take that out on.

Real Life Horror (Plantagenet edition): Popular Terror aka Mob Rule
One of my favorite episodes of The Orville had to do with the team going down on a planet that follows the rule of mob mentality. People are judged based on how many dislikes they get by their fellow comrades. If they do something that is deemed "offensive", they are forced to go on an apology tour where they have to subject themselves to public humiliation. If they fail to the people over, all hell breaks loose. This bizarre form of government is not hard to digest when we take into account it has happened before (and given how history tends to repeat itself, it can happen again). In 1381, four years after he ascended to the throne, Richard II faced the peasant's revolt. The movement, as pointed out by historians Julian Baker and Dan Jones, was initially fragmented but it quickly gained momentum. By the summer of that year, whole towns had risen up against the ruling classes, including the high clergy, after their demands were ignored. The royal family was forced to seek sanctuary, and with Richard II in the hands of his enemies, there seemed little hope for them. But then things turned around for them. After Richard II turned the tables on Wat Tyler and his associates, he publicly declared to the common folk who had joined the revolt that he'd spare them, and that if they expected a kinder king, they were dead wrong. "Vileins you are, vileins you will be." Long story short, if they thought their living conditions were bad before, they hadn't seen nothing yet. The King was the King and he was within his authority to rule the country as he pleased. And if they were born in the position they were born into, tough luck. They had no other choice in life but to endure and pray for forgiveness and move on, or carry on with their complaints which would get them nowhere. To get you an idea how bad this mob was, think back to Game of Thrones season 2, the King Landing's riot, when the commons nearly killed Cersei and raped Sansa. George R. R. Martin has gone on record, saying how much inspiration he took from European history. Given all the historical parallels we've seen with other events on the show, it is not far-fetched to say, that part of these riots were based on the peasant's revolt. People who criticize the show for being too violent have NO idea how terrible the source material is. It makes the show look tame in comparison. Just as the end of that episode of the Orville where one of the main characters is saved thanks to one of the inhabitants who helps the crew manipulates the score so he will get more likes than dislikes; Richard II and his family mildly avoided the terrible fate that befell many clerics, noblemen, and other victims of this mob by taking advantage of the leaders, namely Tyler, in their moment of perceived victory. Besides beating down Richard II's officials and tearing them limb from limb, they also proceeded to burn down jail and legal offices. They also went after everyone who was associated with these people, delighting themselves in their bloody handiwork. In historian, Dan Jones' words "piling their corpses in the streets". The following morning the rebels raced to the tower of London where they hoped to find the King and his officials . The King was not there but some of his officials were, including one of his high clerics was. He was dragged out to Tower Hill and decapitated, his head stuck on a pole for everyone to see. After the King and his ministers restored order, harsher penalties were imposed on the commons. As one of the characters of the Orville tells the inhabitant who helps them free their friend, having a say is something that should not be freely given but earned. The Plantagenets would have agreed with that ... to a certain extent. In their view, anyone worthy of being an officer, should rise by his own merits. But if that person happened to be the son of a favorite or a loyal supporter then screw it. He would be favored over the son of a nobody who had worked harder than anyone else to get to that position. Nonetheless, Richard II's actions were praised by his noble subjects at the time. When he was deposed by Henry IV, they continued to be well seen. It was not until later in his reign that his actions were condemned. Ironically, his actions would be emulated by none other than the dynasty that followed his, the Tudors. It was Elizabeth I who was quoted saying "know ye not I am Richard II?" Like Edward II and Cleopatra VII, who were two of history's greatest losers and tragic romantic figures respectively, Elizabeth I considered Richard II a sorrowful figure who had been unjustly dethroned by a jealous cousin. She often compared herself to him, and like he had done during the peasant's revolt, she took a firm stance against any of her subjects who questioned her rule. Knowing full well that you could never please the mob, she acted severely against their slightest complain. The mob could decry being treated unfairly. That was okay, but organize and form large groups to list their grievances was going too far. Damn if you do. Damn if you don't. It was impossible to please everyone. Having studied history, she had learned from the Plantagenets' example how dangerous it was to rely solely on popularity. The people respected a strong leader, someone who defied all their expectations. Given that she was condemned by both sides (Catholics and radical Protestants) on the basis of her gender, legitimacy, and faith, Bess opted to rule with an iron fist. Through the use of religious iconography and gifted playwrights, she transformed herself into a living goddess. She wasn't going to endure the public humiliations Henry II and other kings went through to be in the church's good graces. She was the church. And she sure as hell wasn't going to tolerate her clerics question her rule or turn the other way around when they were attacked by an angry mob. Whether you approve of her actions or not, time proved her to be right. The Orville and Game of Thrones end with the main characters narrowly escaping their bloody captors. But as with history, neither sees things changing any time soon. With civil war still raging on in Westeros, it won't be surprising to see another riot in King's Landing. As for The Orville, the only person wise enough to see how crazy her society is, is not going to make a difference. Her society is all too eager to bring people down and if she isn't careful, she might end up killed or given a lobotomy to appease the masses. Ultimately, mob mentality or majority rule is a terrible thing. A bad economy that leads to feelings of of disenfranchisement mixed in with charismatic leaders with big egos, leads to a reign of terror worse that puts any bloody spectacle from the Saw and other horror movies to shame.

The Finalysis: Ask The Dreadnought Crew
Hellooo again, everyone!
I apologize that it took so long to finish this, compared to my previous Finalysis post of @askgoopi characters. But now that I did, let’s dive right in! Here are the Myers-Briggs personality types of 14 original characters from @askthedreadnoughtcrew:
If the terminology is confusing, see my MBTI Basics tag. Maybe I should have included that in past personality analysis posts. Also, I have not managed to make the pictures show up in high-res on my blog... Anyway, as in the previous Finalysis posts, I explain my reasoning for giving each character the type that I did below the break:
Atlas: Probably INTP.
Since Atlas "is pretty lazy and likes doing nothing," he is probably not a Te- or Fe-dominant, and probably lacks high Si. Te and Fe are known for leadership and motivating action, while Si is generally known for consistency and hard work. His high patience level makes Se unlikely — especially since he does not react to his surroundings, even when they are on fire. Se characteristically is very quick in reacting to the outside environment, whereas iNtuitors are often too stuck in their heads. On that note, his "most appropriate TV Tropes" include "Beware the Silly Ones" and "Brilliant But Lazy," which are both linked to Ne's eccentric cleverness.
Atlas’s dominant function is less clear than his tertiary. On the one hand, he is "The Anti-Nihilist," which shows exactly the kind of positive, hopeful individualist existentialism that often flows from Fi. On the other, his totally apathetic and non-reactive demeanor suggests Ti, whereas INFPs are often far more emotional and reactive.
Breeze: Probably ENTP.
Ever since childhood, this neon yellow "nerd" programmer "[a]lways tried to bend the rules and find loopholes," showing Ne's nonconformism and Ti's love of logically deconstructing socially accepted rules. Both of those traits have continued and only increased through her love of hacking. NTPs are probably disproportionately common to programmers like her and hackers in particular. As a "Playful Hacker," Breeze shows mischievous Ne instead of serious Ni. Her "weaknesses" include that she "[e]xpects everything to go perfectly and doesn't have a backup plan in case something fails," showing her tendency to think in theoretical (N) instead of practical (S) terms. It also shows that she prefers logic (Ti) to logistics (Te). The "pride," love of "learning new things," and "[s]omewhat high" patience level that Breeze displays further support a Ne-dominant typing: _NTPs in particular show high pride, N-types are generally more fond of learning, and Se-types tend to have lower patience.
I first considered that Breeze could be an INTP because her Charahub calls her "sometimes gloomy," "[s]uspicious of anyone who she's never met," and "sometimes The Cracker," i.e., a "computer criminal." However, she smiles in most of the posts she appears in (as of 2018-08-09; contrast Ti-dominants like Ayjo and Malik), so she is an extraverted edgelord. Also, @askthedreadnoughtcrew said that "I don't think that The Cracker really describes her well - she's more of a Playful Hacker (she only hacks for fun, and almost never with malicious intents)" (PMs 2018-07-27). Even when I thought her an INTP, I noticed that Breeze is surprisingly social and optimistic: the glass is "half full," she is "close friends" with "everyone except for Weldon and Davan," and she "want[s] to get married[,] ... have kids, [and] raise a family." While the half-full/half-empty distinction probably shows a weak connection to personality type at most, an INTP typing cannot easily explain it or Breeze's wide friendship circle.
I next considered that Breeze could be an ENFP, since she seemed to show Fi when explaining that her crew is not under Giegue's authority: "I’ve heard that Giegue is a huge jerk. And we don’t take orders from jerks, hell no." However, this could stem from Ne's nonconformity and the influence of tertiary Fe. But the most powerful evidence against ENFP is her distrust of strangers (PMs 07-27):
"Breeze can be suspicious of strangers or others that she doesn't know well or at all, but once she feels close enough to someone and knows that they aren't a threat, she becomes a lot more relaxed and trusting of that person. She just takes a while to warm up to others."
E_F_ types are generally cheerful, friendly, and trusting even to strangers (see Iso and Manjula), and ENFPs are particularly infamous for over-trusting. I could not even try to explain Breeze's suspicion of strangers using an ENFP typing, since I have said that other characters (e.g. Spooks and Static) are ENFP largely because they are not suspicious of strangers (based on Bayesian logic). I apologize for the length of this explanation, but of all the @askthedreadnoughtcrew characters, Breeze confused me the most. Still, an ENTP typing can reconcile the ostensibly contradictory traits which confused me before.
CJ: Seems like an ISTP.
When an anon asked what he was planning to pick up at the post office, CJ said "that's none of your business." That reply shows the independence, suspicion of others, and blunt rudeness common to ISTPs. The same blunt rudeness characterized his reply when Ryn asked for help finding Clay and Jaxter. After CJ said that he did not know and criticized Ryn's search strategy, CJ abruptly left without offering to help, which was "pretty rude." Both of these show the inferior Fe apathy for social norms. So does CJ's lack of concern that his loud music bothers his neighbor Lyra. All of these seem to indicate inferior Fe.
CJ's lack of eccentric, mischievous, or overtly intellectual tendencies shows no evidence for Ne, whereas his bluntness seems to indicate auxiliary Se. However, I have not seen a general description of CJ. I am inferring his personality only from his demeanor in a few scenes, so I have low confidence in calling him an ISTP.
Clay: Probably ISTJ.
Since Clay is "constantly, but not always, emotionless," he is almost certainly not a Feeling type. Usually he comes across as calm, quiet, and indifferent, indicating I_T_. His cynical pessimism (the "glass" is "100% empty") indicates the same. As a "Bookworm" whose favorite activity is reading and whose "favorite book" is "[a]ll of them," Clay is a nerd prefers to spend his time on calm (I__J) instead of more exciting (E__P) activities — although he does consider life "boring." Yet fear may be one of his most often-felt emotions (a common problem of inferior Ne), as he is "[u]sually too scared to stand up for anything" and would "have a panic attack" if he suddenly transitioned to our world.
That leaves ISTJ or INTJ, with his fear making the former more likely. As Ni-dominants, INTJs are generally driven by some kind of grand plan for the future. However, "Clay really doesn't know what he's going to do with his life, and he doesn't particularly care that much, either. He just prefers to travel around with his crew and not have to think about the future" (PMs with @askthedreadnoughtcrew 2018-07-29). Clay is then an ISTJ which, although an unsurprising type for a gieeg who is commanding a crew, is ironic since he initially set off into space to escape from the gieeg leadership.
Davan: Almost certainly ESTP.
Davan "dislikes boring stuff, [and] people who boss him around," which shows stereotypical Se impatience and rebelliousness. He is a "very irresponsible mook with a mysterious past that likes to party a lot." It is very unlikely for Te-dominants to be irresponsible as a trait, and even less likely for them to be indifferent about it. The hardest part of Clay's daily rituals is "keeping Davan under control" since the mook is an impulsive pyromaniac. Davan "likes Partying, Clay, [and] annoying Clay." When asked whether he likes parties, Davan was not available to answer — because he was at a party. Parties provide the intense sensory and social stimulation that Se craves, which is why Se-dominants are often stereotyped as party animals. Crude language and crude humor are common to Se-dominants, and Davan is so crude that others try to keep him away from Ryn. The "coolest people he knows" are "me, myself, and I," displaying the flippant narcissism common to stereotypical E_TPs.
However, Davan's Se-dominance is not always a burden to the crew. It once saved all of their lives. When the Dreadnought was about to crash into a huge asteroid, all of the Starmen froze — but Davan jumped in and steered the ship to safety. Heroism may seem unlikely from someone so narcissistic and "very irresponsible." But when an unexpected emergency happens and needs someone to act fast, impulsive and down-to-earth Se-dominants can be counted on to save the day. Maybe "heroism" is too strong a word, since Davan may have only acted to save his own skin. But the fact remains that without his action, the ship and its crew would not have survived.
Deimos: Probably ISTJ.
This poor fellow is "usually gloomy all the time and doesn't like talking to people," showing introversion. His attitude towards life and love is "*shrug,*" showing an indifference to idealism and to relationships which suggests low iNtuition and Feeling functions. Similarly, the "most appropriate TV Tropes" to describe Deimos are "Sour Outside, Sad Inside [and] The Eeyore" (although only "sometimes"). All of those show the cynicism common to I_T_ types. "He can somehow always find the exact supplies that the crew of the Dreadnought need," which either shows the apparent instinct that ISTPs have for being a mechanic (compare Ayjo and Beams) or the ISTJ's excellent memory for practical details.
Indifference seems more likely among ISTPs than ISTJs, but besides that, his traits primarily show ISTJ. Since he "dislikes Nova's short temper" as well as "Atlas' laziness and bad jokes," he seems to prefer to keep others in line. The "kind of student" he would be if he "were to attend school" is a constantly sad kid who "doesn't try and somehow still gets straight A's." ISTPs, unlike ISTJs are not known for academic success because of the impatient, non-systematic high Se. Most importantly, Deimos is "a hard worker" because he "is usually the one who keeps the other starmen in check and makes sure they’re doing what they’re supposed to be doing" (PMs with @askthedreadnoughtcrew 2018-07-27). Enforcing (J) rather than resisting (P) the rules, and a strong work ethic, are probably the most significant noticeable difference between ISTJ and ISTP.
Gemini: Seems like an ISFP.
"Everyone on the Dreadnought is just a little scared of" this badass noodle "tough fighter" who "wouldn't hesitate to beat someone up" even as a child. Even then, she wanted to become a fighter later in life. Since she cultivates a persona of fear, she is probably neither E_F_ nor __FJ. Those types usually try to befriend — or at least act friendly towards — everyone (contrast Ryn).
Outwardly, she has a cold demeanor, smiling in only 1 out of the 9 posts she appeared in (as of 2018-08-04; contrast Ryn's 12 out of 21). A colder outward demeanor is more common among introverts and those without high Fe. From that and her toughness, "other people assume" that "she's rude."Yet she has a few things in common with Ryn: the thing that "brings [her] the most joy" is "[k]nowing that she's being helpful," she "usually" acts "kind to others," and she considers "[e]veryone except Davan" important to her. Kindness and the desire to help others, without Fe's warmth, show strong Fi. Her toughness shows strong Se — especially her kind of toughness. She likes fighting, but not from a desire to harm others. In fact, her favorite sparring partner is Jaxter, who is her partner if ya know what I mean the most important person in her life. Those strongly support ISFP.
It is a bit harder to explain why she is "a bit self-centered" and enjoys "boasting" with an ISFP typing, since narcissism is linked most closely to _NTP types. Maybe Fi sometimes makes her focus too much on herself, and boasting comes from Se's competitive instinct? Although her pride and occasional self-centeredness lowers my confidence in ISFP, that still seems like the most likely type.
Jaxter: Probably INFP, maybe INTP.
Perhaps the most eccentric and quirky member of the crew, Jaxter "Likes [q]uiet places, video games, [and] fixing things." Those completely solitary places/activities strongly suggest that Jaxter is an introvert. An eccentric and quirky yet muted personality usually shows auxiliary Ne (compare Loris, Niiue, and Origen). Also, Jaxter "panics a lot and is very clumsy and awkward." Clumsiness suggests a low Sensing function (contrast Gemini's physical competence), and social awkwardness suggests low/no Fe, although those are both weak associations. "Sloth" is the "deadly sin that best represents" him, which shows that he does not have high Si because that usually produces a strong work ethic (contrast Deimos and Saral). These all suggest IN_P.
While it is not stated explicitly, Jaxter is emotionally sensitive. His tendencies to panic show a high reactivity to stressful stimuli, ones that may not affect less sensitive others. Contrast his screaming, horrified reaction to the engine almost exploding with Atlas (INTP) not reacting at all to the engine actually exploding. Hair-trigger stress and fear reactions usually imply low Ne, a high Feeling function, or both. This fear combines with his shyness and social awkwardness to produce social sensitivity: he withdraws from social situations more often than others out of fear. For example, Jaxter "used to be pretty intimidated by Gemini," probably even more than is normal for the crew. I_T_ types disproportionately withdraw from social situations too, but usually because of apathy and annoyance (contrast Calliope, Malik, and Marie). Therefore, while I thought him an _NTP at first partially from his resemblance to Doc Brown, he is more likely an INFP.
Jett: Seems like an ISTP.
This bug flying a badass, maximally edgy, spike-covered Lil UFO shows apathy to the concerns of others — especially his neighbor Lyra, who he said "is SO annoying" because she complained about him blasting loud music for the "eleventh" time. His dismissive apathy shows low Fe: even if a high-Fe-user did not care, they would probably at least act as if they cared. Also, when Jett's roommate CJ said that he was going to the post office, Jett's comment showed the blunt tone and independence-focused mindset common to ISTPs: "Well, go for it. It’s not like I’m gonna try to stop you or something." While I cannot type Jett with confidence since he has no Charahub entry and so few posts (as of 2018-08-09), current evidence suggests ISTP.
Lyra: Seems like an _STP.
Lyra is extremely straightforward about her motives for working as Morgandy's assistant: "I do it for the money." The concise and blunt (Se), honest description of focusing on rational self-interest (Ti) supports _STP, as she later shows by often complaining about insufficient pay. Lyra has no patience for Morgandy's language humor, whereas N-types are more likely to enjoy that kind of humor and high Fe-types would hesitate to be so rude. She is also very annoyed, and evidently pissed off, by her neighbors' loud music. If not for Morgandy insisting on asking "POLITELY," Lyra might tell her neighbors "to shove their speakers up their asses," showing the _STP's irritability, crudeness, and lack of concern for politeness or social norms. Even with Morgandy's insistence, Lyra angrily yelled at the neighbors who proceeded not to care.
I have not seen clear evidence of introversion or extraversion, unfortunately, so I cannot assign Lyra a specific type. All of Lyra's posts suggest _STP, but since I have not seen very many of them (or a Charahub entry), I cannot claim high confidence in that conclusion.
Morgandy: Probably ENFP.
As the only "[h]yperactive, cheerful, and childish" gieeg from her blog, Morgandy is a bit unusual. Ever since she was a child, Morgandy was "[u]ltra-hyper and very eager to do everything." Her "annoyingly childish and hyper" tendencies suggest E__P (compare Vivek), and so does her chosen profession as an entertainer. Extraverts are usually more energetic, and Perceivers more spontaneous. Both traits are important in entertainment. The fact that Morgandy "dislikes nothing really" rules out E_TP, matching the stereotype that ENFPs love everything and everyone (compare Spooks). However, Morgandy is not afraid to trash-talk her assistant or brag about her own superiority, unlike many Fe-types who hate to ever be rude.
Morgandy "doesn't like to fight," which is more common for F-types (with notable exceptions including Gemini and other badass SFPs). Morgandy prefers non-confrontational solutions to problems, whereas T-types are more direct and confrontational. Like many iNtuitors, she enjoys making incredibly dumb jokes by playing with language (compare Static). While I have not seen much of her on the blog, what I have seen makes ENFP very likely.
Nova: Seems like an ESTJ.
This "Final Starman who ... always tries to be the best that he can, but usually ends up making a mess ... is determined and will not stop at achieving a goal." That kind of strong-willed focus and determination are most common to high Te and Si users. He has low patience, especially for Atlas's laziness and Deimos's moping. STJs have the least tolerance for laziness: Te values hard work on a practical level, Si does on a moral level, and Te is the least afraid of confrontation. His dislike of "glum Deimos" shows the difference between his extraversion and Deimos' introversion. Extraverts gain energy and motivation from the social environment, so E_T_ types are usually more affected by others' moods. His "bad habits" include "[y]elling" (especially at Atlas), a common one for EST_ types (compare Goopi). That makes ESFJ unlikely: ESFJs usually try to act friendly, and even when they are aggressive, they are almost always passive-aggressive instead of straightforward.
Even though he does not eat, he enjoys cooking. The sensory, detail-oriented, highly formulaic activity is probably enjoyed more by strong Si-users (compare Saral). Also, he has a strong respect for authority. More specifically, Clay is his "role model" and "most important person in [his] life." Strong Si-users are more likely than any other type to intuitively trust authority figures (compare Pia).
An ESTJ typing admittedly has a hard time explaining why Nova has a "fear of nobody liking him," since that is seems more closely linked to Feeling types. Maybe it has to do with his extraversion? Also, it seems odd that he would "never" "dare to kill someone," but perhaps that comes from his Si principles. While ESTJ still explains most of his personality as shown in his Charahub and his posts so far, I do not think that I have seen enough posts to type him with high confidence.
Rynault ("Ryn"): Almost certainly ENFJ.
This "cheerful and optimistic" gieeg "likes helping others" since it "brings him the most joy" out of any activity. Altruism is most common, or at least most explicit, among Fe-dominants. From childhood, he has been "[v]ery eager and optimistic." As mentioned above while discussing Gemini, he smiles a lot. All of that shows the cheery demeanor and upbeat attitude most common to E_F_ types (compare Iso, Spooks, and Static). He stands up for his beliefs, but would never dare to kill anyone, showing Fe's claim to the moral high ground but also its squeamishness. The "most important person in [his] life" is "[e]veryone on the Dreadnought," showing the indiscriminate caring for everyone common to high-Fe types (compare Gabe, Manjula, Penini, Saral, and of course Iso). In contrast, many others (especially T-types) only care about those close to them, but care strongly about those people (contrast Gemini, Giegue, and J).
A natural leader who thinks quickly to do what is best for everyone, Ryn has taken the initiative as the "leader of the group" far more than me than one would expect for an introvert — especially considering that he is only "a 12 [!] year old." One of the main differences between ENFJs and INFJs is that the former are more likely to take the initiative and publicly lead. Ryn shows this tendency in the extreme. He is "smart but not nerdy" which completely rules out the IN__ types, although others often assume that he is a nerd. He has a "very high" patience level, suggesting high Ni or maybe high Si, and conversely "is kind of a klutz when it comes to sharp objects." Physical clumsiness is more common in N-types. While the evidence for his auxiliary Ni may not seem as strong as the evidence for his dominant Fe, Ryn's exceptional charisma is far more common among ENFJs than ESFJs. There is a reason that some people call ENFJs "The Cult Leader" type. While I do not expect Ryn to start a cult anytime soon, he arguably has the right skill set for it.
Weldon: Almost certainly ESTP.
Straight outta the 90s comes this hip dude with, like, a totally rad backwards hat and shades, bro. (Yes, that is how he talks, man.) He is a "huge jerk" (according to Davan and to Weldon's own Charahub) and a "douche" who "likes bragging about himself" and claims to be "too cool to ask for asks, dude." All of those show the callous narcissism associated with immature E_TP types whose Fe is not developed. He also "dislikes when people are better than him" and is "too competitive," combining his narcissism with the impulsive, competitive tendencies of high Se. I considered him an introvert at first because of his "laid-back" and "relaxed" voice and demeanor, but he "doesn't like being alone," which may be the clearest possible evidence of extraversion other than wearing a sign that says “I AM AN EXTRAVERT.”
Concluding Thoughts
That took me longer than I expected. But on the bright side, I realized that I have now completed 89 character analyses — of which I still have many to post. My goal of analyzing 100 characters, which I previously thought unrealistic, suddenly appears within striking distance.
Speaking of "within striking distance," I will probably publish my next Finalysis post in much less time than this one. Part of the reason this one took so long is that I could not make up my mind on whose to post next. Since posting the last one, I have spent time typing characters from this blog, @asktheapplechasers, @only-our-regrets (i.e. ComDis), and @take-a-melody. One of those will probably be featured in my next Finalysis post. If you have a preference for one of them — or a different blog — please feel free to shoot me a message! (Especially because I sometimes have questions about characters' personalities!)

Marlene McKinnon did not like Sirius Black. Ever since their first day of meeting, she absolutely hated him. You could ask anyone in their school. They weren’t exactly subtle about it so you could even ask the professors. Never would you even catch them in the same social circles. In class, they would sit opposite sides of the room. (Of course corresponding with their best friends, Lily Evans and James Potter.) They kept distance, the closest they got was when James would try impressing Lily, the two girls would eye him with eyes of ice and then he would be dragged off by Sirius. That was the most interaction that they would bare.
Ironically, they had a lot of the same bad habits. Often, they would lurk around the hallways, late at night, the smell of cigarettes and alcohol oozing off of them. A few times they would get suspicious glances when they shared the smell in class the next day. But no one dared as if they had spent time together. And had they, their responses would be a quick tempered no and fuck off.
There was one evening, where they did run into each other, both a little tipsy, and it was as Filch was patrolling the hallways outside the Gyffindor common room. Not even Sirius had a solution on how to slip past him. When there was a small meow, he panicked and tiptoed as fast as he could into the nearest empty classroom to escape the stalking of Mrs Norris.
But it wasn’t enough, Filch was on her tail and although she couldn’t open classroom doors, he was more than capable, so he looked around, saw a tiny cupboard and opened its doors only to see the shocked eyes of a pretty blonde. “Oh, hey there McKinney,” his eyebrows shot up in judgement. “What are you doing in here?”
Her face dropped at his sarcastic and calm demeanour, whispering back in her snappiest voice she said, “Not getting caught by Filch if you don’t mind,” and went to close the door again.
But Sirius caught it with ease, looking over his shoulder, realizing just how close the caretaker was to the classroom. “Well, I don’t want to get caught either, so move over.”
“Not a chance,” she hissed back.
Filch was at the door and they didn’t have any more time to argue, she pulled him inside so she could shut the door in silence before him and his cat entered the room. Both teenagers stopped breathing as they heard the duo moving into the room, Filch calling out for any students out of bed. There was clear disappointment in his voice when he couldn’t find anyone though. He hobbled around a little bit, before Mrs Norris’ mewed from back at the door and he followed her. “I’m leaving this open and patrolling outside of it. So you’ll have to come out eventually,” the smirk was evident in his voice.
“Fuck you Black,” Marlene sneered to the young pureblood beside her. “I was home free before you stirred up his attention.
“Is that what you were doing in here, Marley?” He retorted back to her.
“Shut up, he’s going to hear us!”
“You started talking first!” He reminded her, attempting to lean back in the closet before realizing how small it really was, They heard Filch pacing from a distance, and Sirius let out a sigh, unsure of what to do next. Especially with this bird beside him, who surely would make everything that much harder. Relaxing a little, and letting his eyes adjust to the dimness of the closet, he looked at the girl standing in front of them. “I think this is the closest I’ve ever been to you,” he joked, attempting to gesture at the fact that their bodies were maybe one inch from each other, but overestimating the room he had and instead accidentally brushed his hand across her chest. Had those always been that big?
She scowled at him, “Touch me again, and I will rip your fingers off.”
He put his hands behind his back and shrugged. “It’s not my fault your tits are out,” his eyebrows raised slightly as he looked down, able to see straight into her shirt.
“Sod. Off. Black.” She pronounced as loudly as she dared.
He sighed heavily. “I can’t right now, or trust me I would not be stuck in here with you! Or stuck in any space this small.” Sirius tried to adjust himself, seeing it there was any way to make himself more comfortable. Keeping his hands behind his back, he leaned against the wall, his feet on either side of hers, against the wall on her side. She glared at him and he looked her straight in the eyes, “I’m taller than you, it’s cramped in here.”
“You’re the same height as me,” she answered him haughtily. “And I’m doing a fine job staying on my side, heels and all,” she looked down to her feet and Sirius’ eyes followed. Although they did stop to admire her legs. No matter how much he disliked her, he always noticed her legs.
“Were you on a date, McKitten?” He asked.
“Making small talk?” She laughed. “I’d rather suffer in silence.
Sirius nodded, “Fine.”
A few minutes passed, and Marlene started shifting. He was right, it was very cramped in here, and to be honest, her heels were very uncomfortable. She groaned, eventually giving in, and trying to kick them off soundlessly, afraid that the click clack of stilettos would give them away. With the little room she had, she pushed one foot forward, attempting to pry them off with her feet. She got one off and in her attempt to get the second ended in her knee grazing Sirius’ crotch. “Oi!” He breathed, almost too loudly.
“Sorry, accident,” she said earnestly, finally escaping her heels.
Sirius huffed, “You’d better be,” but honestly the brush was so light it turned him on more than anything. It was like a switch for his teenage hormones to really process what was going on. He was locked in a closet, with a, though very bitchy, beautiful blonde with long legs, breasts barely contained by her shirt. Fuck. He thought to himself.
Her next comment didn’t help anything. “Maybe this is karma for the comment you made to me earlier,” she crossed her arms against her chest, which only amplified how much of them he could see.
Unfortunately he knew exactly what she was talking about. Earlier in the day he had received detention for saying something about how Marlene was probably just always bitchy because she never had a proper shag and if she would get off her high horse, Sirius could make her scream louder than a mandrake. A chuckle escaped him, “I still think I could,” And damn right now, he really could.
“Not a chance,” she looked away, as if she could see outside of their wooden prison.
“We have a few minutes right now, I could demonstrate,” he laughed as if it were nothing more than a joke, but honestly if she would let him, they would have miraculous hate sex.
Marlene looked back at him, a smirk on her lips that could rival even his own. Leaning in close to him until he could feel her perky breasts against his chest she whispered into his ear. “You wouldn’t be able to turn me on if you tried.” That was it, his pants muggle tightened around crotch at the gentleness of the breath from her ear and the words coming from her mouth. And it did not go unnoticed. Marlene let her hand fall forward and brushed against his erection, “Yet you can’t control yourself around me.” With more confidence than ever, she leaned back against her side of the closet, a sparkle of mischievous in her eyes.
“Wanna bet?” He asked her, feeling his member twitch in his pants, aching for this to be really about to happen. He licked his lips, her eyes locked on hers.
“Not really,” she shrugged. Such a tease. But as he looked down he grinned at the slight hardness of her nipples showing through her top.
Their eyes were still on each other, both of them barely breathing. Then all at once, they simultaneously closed the gap between them. Their lips were on one another, his hands instantly grabbed for her glorious braless tits, that filled his hands so perfectly, that he was sure he could play with them forever. His hands groped at her, thumb flicking over her already hardened nipples. She made no complaints, as her hands snaked up his shirt, feeling his cool skin underneath. He let go of her, only for the blonde to pull his shirt over his head, then brought his mouth down, suckling on her breasts through her very thin shirt.
Marlene had to bite her lip to stop from moaning, but as his left hand kneaded at her breast and his teeth grazed over her nipple, her own nails dug into his neck, encouraging him to continue. Needing to feel her skin, he moved upwards, hand still working at her breast, teeth sinking lightly onto her neck. This had Marlene finally moan ever so slightly. It was stronger than the firewhisky he had been drinking earlier, and he wanted to hear more. So he bit down harder, electing another sound from her. His lip then kissed the same spot, licked it a few times, and bit again. Sirius repeated the cycle a few times, determined to leave a mark for the world to see tomorrow. When his work was done, his lips moved further up, chewing on her ear and kissing her jawline. Marlene’s blonde locks were thrown backwards as her neck craned giving him all the access he needed. And fuck she was sexy like this. Roughly pulling the shirt off of her and letting it fall to their feet, he took in the sight of the topless Marlene McKinnon standing in front of him. Her chest was heaving heavily, nipples pointed towards him in further need to be tended to.
Of course, he was happy to oblige. This time he took the left one between his teeth, rolling her right one in his hand. He continued until the stubs ached and Marlene pulled him back up to her face, catching his lips in hers.
Pulling him towards her, Marlene surely felt his hardness pressing into her, pleading for release. Her hands felt down his body and played at his hemline. “Fuck Mar,” he growled as her hands traced the outline of his cock. Her tongue fought his for dominance as his entered his mouth. Neither one of them winning, and Sirius instead, biting down hard on her lower lip. “Stop teasing,” he threatened, her hand still working on the outside of his pants.
But this only seemed to please Marlene, she grinned at him, toyed with his zipper, until Sirius had enough and took them off himself. In one swoop he had removed all remaining articles of clothing from his body, his penis long and thick, bouncing against his stomach. “Not to bad,” Marlene sounded almost impressed, and let her fingers dance along his inner thighs.
Fuck. He thought again, “Dammit woman, I’ve had enough of your teasing, get to it,” he repeated, but she made no act to do any such thing. Fine, if she wanted to play, he could too. His hands slipped under her skirt, grabbing tightly onto her firm arse. Damn. How did he never notice how nice it was. Aggressively, squeezing again, one of his hands strayed away and slowly traced her knickers. A smile grew broad across his face when she felt how wet she already was for him. “Guess I can turn you on after all, eh McKinney?”
“Shut it,” she retorted, although it was less than convincing since she had to gasp for breath right after, when his finger grazed her inner thigh.
He didn’t say anything else, he would make her beg for him later, but not yet. His one hand continued all the way up, palming at her engorged nipples once more, the second hand, pushing up against her wetness, rubbing tiny circles against her panties. She whimpered and it became much easier for him to withstand her attempted tease. Although, she wasn’t moving her hand nearly as much anymore, too busy enjoying the pleasure she was receiving instead. Her eyes shut and she was biting her lower lip hard clearly in vain of stoping any more noises from escaping her. Taking the opportunity of her not paying attention, Sirius awkwardly slipped down onto his knees, and let his face fall under her skirt. “Oh,” she replied in breathy surprise as his tongue licked the sides of her panties.
Letting him slide them and her skirt off her body, his lips now moved to part her folds. She was quickly loosing control of the noises she was making. Quiet moans of pleasure filled their closet, as his tongue worked expertly at her core. It would flick over her clit every so often and her whole body would shutter. “Fuck,” she said eventually, his stubble teasing her legs as his tongue reached as far into her as it would.
“Say my name,” he demanded from between her legs.
But she refused. “Fuck you.”
“Hmm, darling, actually I’m fucking you,” the smile was audible in his words as he licked her clit one last time, feeling her hands ball fists of his hair, pushing him further into her. But he wasn’t going to give her what she wanted just yet. Returning to his standing position, his fingers just so lightly touched her core and he grinned down at her, seeing pieces of her blonde hair sticking to her sweaty forehead. “Remember when you said I wouldn’t be able to turn you on?”
She whined, at his fingers constant presence but not giving her what she wanted, attempting to push into them, he held her hips against the wood, so she was powerless until she replied to him. “Stop talking.”
“I want an apology,” he shrugged easily.
But he should have known Marlene wasn’t going to be that easy to win over. She still had her own hands and she latched one onto his cock, making a circle and stroking against his erection. A growl left his throat, as her second hand played at his balls, massaging them. The thumb from her first hand lightly flicked over his tip. Shit. This girl knew how to use her hands.
He forgot that he was suppose to be teasing her and stuck two fingers inside of her, moving them in and out, slowly at first. But as she quickened the pace of her hands at his throbbing member, he hurried his fingers inside of her, using his thumb to press against her clit. It wasn’t until he realized how close he was to coming into her hands that he stopped her. This wasn’t how it was suppose to go. Keeping his fingers inside of her, he took her hands and pinned them abode her head. He removed his fingers from her heat, only to add a third and continued vigorously fucking her with them. “Tell me you’re going to come for me,” he demanded, but she still refused.
It didn’t matter whether she said it or not though, her insides tightened around his fingers, body ready to climax, when he heartlessly tore them away from her. “No,” she whined, her whole body shaking, not caring that it was Sirius who was getting her off.
“You’re not getting anything until you do as I say,” he reminded her, pressing his body close against hers. They both felt how his prick jerked at her wetness. “I’m going to fuck you, and you’re going to scream just like I said.”
“Try all you want, that’s not going to happen,” she came back stubbornly, but the whimper in her throat was saying otherwise.
His fingers drew circles at her cunt again, and he felt her warmth so desperately wanting him inside of her. “Tell me you want me.”
“No,” she shook her head.
“Tell me you want me to fuck you.”
“Sod off,” she retorted.
“Come on, Marls,” he said cheekily, nipping at her neck again, letting his finger just barely go inside of her.
Somehow, he found her weakness, it was at her neck. Because as soon as his lips touched her neck she groaned desperately, “Just do it,” she complained.
“What was that?” He repeated softly into her ear, licking it slightly, before sucking on her collar bone.
Marlene finally gave in, it was all too much for her, “Please Sirius.”
“There’s a good girl,” he said with a grin, straightening out, lining himself up with her hole and thrusting himself into her as hard as they both needed.
He tried a few different angles, still holding her hands above her head, until he found one that had a high pitched moan coming from Marlene. Sirius, dropped her wrists and moved his hand instead to be gently at her throat.
Her own hands impulsively wrapped around him, one grabbing chunks of his hair and the other ones nails scratching down his back. Neither of them cared how many marks they would be adorning the next day. “Say my name again, McKinnon,” he ordered her.
This time, there was no argument, “Harder Black,” she chocked out.
“Was I right?” He managed to grunt in response, increasing his speed, not sure if he could go any harder without breaking the closet walls.
“Just keep fucking me Sirius,” she retorted, done with talking as she neared her completion.
His hand let go of her throat and worked down, pressing against her clit, wanting to ensure she orgasmed hard for him. Her walls were closing on him again, but he wasn’t quite there. “You’d better not come until I say,” he breathed into her ear, taking her mouth in his again. His tongue sliding easily past her lips, there was no fight this time, he had already won.
His thrusts for more irregular as they both began to lose control. He pulled his lips off of hers and demanded, “Come for me, Marlene.”
And she did as she was told. Her orgasm consumed her whole body as the warmth was so intense that she couldn’t see anything, all she felt was the pulsing at her core that rippled through her whole body. “Fuck Sirius, yes!” The blonde screamed out loudly.
Sirius followed straight after, forcing himself to pull out just in time for him to spill onto those thighs that he loved so much.
He was panting, leaned against her in their tiny hiding spot, while she moaned against his chest. “Holy fuck,” he managed to barely breath.
“You called me Marlene,” she replied dumbly. Out of everything that just happened he couldn’t help but laugh that she noticed that.
“Hm yes, is that going to change our not-so-friendly rivalry?” He joked in return, but before she had time to come back with anything, the closer doors sung open and there was a very upset looking Professor McGonagall. her lips were so thin, they almost disappeared and the scowl on her face could almost rival that of Walburga’s when she saw Sirius doing absolutely anything.
“Clothes, now!” She barked at the two, flicking her wand so they didn’t have a choice in the matter. Instantly their clothes flew up to their bodies and they both stood stunned, starring the Gryffindor witch.
“Detention. One month. 100 points from Gryffindor. Each.” This was possibly the most angry the young Black had ever seen his professor. But she usually had a soft spot for him so he smiled to her, running his hand through his hair.
“Shouldn’t you be glad we’re not cursing each other, prof-”
She cut him off. “Two months for you Black! Now get to bed, I don’t want to see either of you for another second tonight!”
In the corner they saw Fitch holding onto his cat, clearly he had gone to fetch Professor McGonagall, the git. Although, Sirius thought to himself, if he hadn’t have left to find her first, they wouldn’t have finished. And hearing Marlene McKinnon beg for him was worth a whole year of detentions.
The next day a lot of gossip arose about why Black and McKinnon had matching detentions. And if anyone had noticed the hickies covering her neck. Or the scratch marks against his back and shoulders. But no one dared ask. Even James and Lily ended up talking, just to see if either of them had heard about anything. But if anyone could keep a secret, it was Marlene and Sirius. And they kept it well. Every night, after detention, all over the school.

Fanfiction Questions!
A great big thank you to @tohavealifetimeoffun for letting me use these! 1. What was the first fandom you got involved in? Heartland. 2. What is your latest fandom? White Collar! 3. What is the best fandom you've ever been involved in? The best? That's tough. That's really tough. But in the end I have to go with White Collar. 4. Do you regret getting involved in any fandoms? Nope. Not a single one. 5. Which fandoms have you written fanfiction for? Mainly White Collar because I only started posting just before getting into that fandom seriously. Before that, it was Avengers. 6. List your OTP from each fandom you've been involved in. Heartland: Ty/Amy Iron Man: Pepper/Tony Avengers: Tony/Steve Supernatural: Dean/Lisa (judge me all you want, destiel shippers) White Collar: Neal/Sarah but hell, its hard to choose between that and Neal/Peter because COME ON that show is practically throwing it at us! 7. List your NoTPs from each fandom you've been in. Hoboy... Heartland: Amy/Soraya Uncharted: Chloe/Nadene Iron Man: Pepper/Natasha Avengers: Clint/Laura (I'm sorry but I can't. I will die for Clintasha) White Collar: Neal/Jones (I've seen it, I respect it, I admire from a distance, but I can't. Same with Neal/Diana) 8. How did you get involved in your latest fandom? Well, it started when I stumbled upon it on Netflix and thought one of the guys on there looked cute (I'll let you guess which one) and so I started watching it only to get bored partway through and I went galavanting in the Avengers fandom for a few years before coming back like "Hey I never finished that". And here I've stayed ever since. Stuck. Thanks, Jeff Eastin. 9. What are the best things about your current fandom? Even though the show has ended, the White Collar fandom is still alive and active. Its like we all still stick together and keep track of what Matt Bomer is up to these days like "hey, The Last Tycoon! Also I just wrote another White Collar fic haha pry this show from my cold dead hands". 10. Is there a fandom you read fic from but don't write in? Nah, I don't stray far from White Collar. 11. Who is your current OTP? Gotta be Neal/Peter at the moment. I just love their bromance though. I know those two are like THE ship but I usually prefer Neal/Sarah, which for some reason isn't very well liked, I hear??? 12. Who is your current OT3? Um, the only OT3 I've ever had. Peter/Neal/El 13. Any NoTPs? Neal/Jones, Neal/June (what?), and I don't wanna say its a definite no, because I miiiiight consider Neal/Mozzie. And I have written Neal/Diana but I don't particularly like it. 14. Go on, who are your BroTPs? Peter/Neal of course, Neal/Mozzie 15. Is there any obscure ship that you love? Well not really. Neal/Kate, but I wouldn't call it obscure. 16. Are there any popular ships in your fandom which you dislike? Ehhhh not really. 17. Who was your first OTP and are they still your favorite? Ty/Amy from Heartland and yes, I still love those two to bits. 18. What ship have you written the most about? Steve/Tony. Funny since I started out HATING those two together and it was EVERYWHERE all up in my face but then next thing I know I've got like fifty stories about them 19. Is there a ship you wish you could get behind but you just don't feel them? Neal/Mozzie. 20. Any ships which you surprised yourself by liking? Peter/Neal/El, like I said. I like it, I do. I've just never had an OT3 before and I think that's what threw me off a bit. 21. What was the first fanfic you ever wrote? That would be a Heartland fic that took up an entire notebook. 22. Is there anything you regret writing? Eh... Sometimes. I regret writing things that I don't finish. 23. Name a fic you've written that you're especially fond of and explain why you like it. Neal Caffreys. Oh man I want to continue that little project forever. There are so many possibilities. 24. What fic so you desperately need to rewrite or edit? Ummmm probably Take Me Back To Normal. I need to offer more explanation and reason for my torture haha 25. What's your most popular fanfic? I haven't checked in a while but I believe it's Neal Caffreys. 26. How do you come up with your fanfic titles? Sometimes song lyrics or they just... come to me? 27. What do you hate more: coming up with titles or writing summaries? Summaries oh god... 28. If someone were to draw a piece of fan art for your story, which story would it be and what would the picture be of? Oooooooo It would be for a story that I'm currently working on (actually a chapter for Neal Caffreys but I really want to make it a full story) where Neal is a horseman. The picture would be Neal standing next to his horse, and the horse would look all badass and everything AGH! Please somebody. Also hey I do have a piece of fan art for my story Tale Me Back To Normal done by @kanarek13 and I love it so much 29. Do you have a beta reader? Why/Why not? I do not. I am very good with English and writing so I can edit my own stuff. In fact, I prefer to. It just kinda feels lazy to pass a piece off to someone else to do that for me. 30. What inspires you to write? Well watching the show helps. Also reading fanfiction. 31. What's the nicest thing that someone has ever said about your writing? Oh gosh, that they go back and read it all the time so I should never take it down. That just made me so happy to hear. 32. Do you listen to music when you write or does music inspire you? If so, which band of music/genre does it for you? I cannot listen to music when I write. I like to have quiet so I can picture what I want better. If I have music on, I just end up drowning it out anyway. But music itself does inspire me sometimes. 33. Do you write one-shots, multi-chapter fics, or huuuge epics? Oneshots are what I try to stick to, but the multi-chapter thing is also okay. Huge epics? Lol not so much 34. What's the word count on your longest fic? Oh man I gotta go look this up... 35,038 ...Holy crap 35. Do you write drabble? If so, what do you write them about? Hmmm I think I've written maybe two drabble fics? I don't do them often because I like my h/c action torture awfulness. But I do like to get in Neal's head. 36. What's your favorite genre to write? Everybody whose read any of my stuff already knows it's hurt/comfort and angsty things. 37. First person or third person- What do you write in and why? Third person preferably. I just like to get a wider perspective, but with third person, you can also hone in on individuals and their thoughts. 38. Do you use established canon characters or do you create OCs? Both? Obviously my fics are always almost 99% canon characters but I do have OCs that I like to slip in there. I have OCs that I use for RPing but you can find Finnigan Roderas here and there as well as Victor "Vito" Odell in For Your Entertainment. They're a couple of mine. I am a proud parent to at least three more. 39. What is your greatest strength as a writer? The way I can put myself in a scene and imagine all the details, mostly emotions, that go with it. 40. What do you struggle with the most in your writing? Well like I mentioned, I tend to write stories around one small thing I want to get out, and once that thing is out and I've created a mess, I just go "...what now? I didn't think this far ahead..." 41. List and link to five fanfics you are currently reading. Oh man I usually only read one at a time... But I'll put that one down and then add four that I read before it. Enemies http://archiveofourown.org/works/2290154 You Look Like A Koala http://archiveofourown.org/works/2329949 Somehow, Sundown http://archiveofourown.org/works/6159619 Wrong Time, Wrong Place http://archiveofourown.org/works/2435216 Love Lift Me Up http://archiveofourown.org/works/2503781 42. List and link to five fanfiction authors that are amazing. Now this I can do. pooh_collector http://archiveofourown.org/users/pooh_collector/pseuds/pooh_collector Sholio http://archiveofourown.org/users/Sholio/pseuds/Sholio Huntress79 http://archiveofourown.org/users/Huntress79/pseuds/Huntress79 Ashley5627 http://archiveofourown.org/users/Ashley5627/pseuds/Ashley5627 NYWCgirl http://archiveofourown.org/users/NYWCgirl/pseuds/NYWCgirl 43. Is there anyone in your fandom who really inspires you? Definitely @kanarek13 and @archivistsrock Also @hirunoka and all the anons who keep encouraging me to write and keep writing~ 44. What ship do you feel needs more attention? Mozzie/Gina 45. What is your all time favorite fanfic? A week ago, I wouldn't have been able to tell you, but then I found Out of the Wastes by Sholio and I can't tell you how much I love it. Seriously. Go check it out. 46. If someone was to read one of your fanfics, which fic would you recommend to them and why? Mmmmm... I don't know that I'd recommend any of them, but I guess Neal Caffreys is my pride and joy. That one. 47. Archive of our Own, Dreamwidth, LiveJournal, Fanfiction.net, or Tumblr- Where do you prefer to post and why? AO3 for sure. I like the setup and everyone on there seems nice so far (barring one strange incident). I used to post on FF but eh... A couple people on there really pissed me off. I'll leave it at that. 48. Do you care if people comment/reboot your writing? Why/Why not? I'm not sure what that means. Comments on my writing in a separate post? Rebooting my story to make a better version themselves? Idk I've never really experienced either of those things, if that's what this means. I guess maybe I wouldn't mind. Not sure. 49. How did you get into reading and/or writing fanfiction? I got into writing it first because the idea came to me all on its own and I thought I was a genius. Then I believe my dear friend @tfwhancock was like "let me show you FF" and I was stuck there for months. 50. Rant or hush about one thing you love or hate in the world of fanfiction! Go! I LOVE THAT IT EXISTS OH MY GOD YES I love that I can use characters that I love and write them and make them do what I want and just AGHHGGH I LOVE IT SO MUCH. It's so fun and exciting and just reading what people come up with is the most amazing thing! When you have to stop reading and just appreciate a line or a phrase like "oh that's good" Mmmmm love me that feeling~ Tagging: anyone who wants to do this!

Hi Charity as you are an ENFP I wanted to ask you how to do you see Si and Te in you? How was it clear for you that you were Ne dom and Fi aux and not the contrary? You said in the past that you cinsidered yourself socially introvert or shy, which I think is my case and I'm not sure about INFP or ENFP for me. Thanks a lot
My main way of recognizing my status as an extrovert, beyond my need for external stimulation all the time (NOTHING HAS HAPPENED IN TEN MINUTES, MY LIFE SUCKS) is that I am not a Fi-dom. So excuse me, while I once again travel into the land of indecisive Ne to illustrate my point; then I will return to your initial question.
If you compare the INFPs on this blog to the ENFPs, you will notice that the INFP’s Fi is often very prominent and “runs the show.” This is also true with real life INFPs, who as judging dominants, have and express very strong opinions. Since they are in contact with their inner self most of the time, they often know what they like and dislike, what they want to do or refuse to do, and how they FEEL about most things. There is rarely indecision on that point, especially when it comes to the strength of their inner moral focus.
While I have extremely strong opinions in a few areas, in the broader scope of reality, I am far more indecisive and disconnected from my feelings, to the point where half the time, I rationalize them out with Te, or question my “right” to feel this way at all, rather than just use them. Something I admire about INFPs is they tend to be more decisive than I am, especially in their likes and dislikes. As a Ne-dom, my likes and dislikes can change from day to day.
An INFP I know had a fight with her friends once and door-slammed all of them. She knew how she felt, that they were dissing her opinions and not respecting her true self, and after she had enough, she was done. And she did not waffle on that decision. She just quit. She made up with them much later on, but only after her temper cooled, and she had space and time to mature in her own way (and they matured also). She knew what she wanted: them gone. For now.
I complained the other day to my mother about Elizabeth of York in Philippa Gregory’s novel / miniseries, The White Princess. She is so indecisive. She changes her mind from one chapter to the next about who she is, what she wants, and answers “I don’t know” to half the questions posed to her. Some days she likes her husband, some days she doesn’t; she intends to give up on him, then turns around and falls for him again. It’s seriously annoying.
Once I got done with my rant, my mother smiled and said, “So she’s basically you, in literary form.”
Gee, thanks mom.
My mouth hung open for a couple of seconds, while my Fi had a little tantrum, and then my Te immediately snapped in and I went: “I guess. But I’d make a BAD heroine. Heroines need to be decisive! Books need plots! Heroines need to know what they want, or at least figure it out, and get there, not be lost in indecision! The plot must move forward!”
Unlike me. =P
Ne-dom makes me changeable. And it annoys me. One day, I might want this. The next day, I might not. One day, I might decide that this friend sucks. The next day, I might think I was wrong and they’re awesome. They did not change. My Ne flipped the situation around for a different perspective. It runs right over my Fi and what it wants, all the time. This means that I either do not KNOW what I want or cannot ADMIT to myself what I want, nor give myself permission to want it. It annoys me, it annoys my parents, it annoys my friends, and it annoys my cat. But that’s how it is.
I WISH I had some Fi to haul Ne’s ass into a chair and decide: NOPE. But no, instead Ne hauls me around with Fi going “Um… I don’t know how I feel yet?”
But anyway, rant aside: back to your question.
How do I see Si and Te in me?
I see Te a lot when I ‘temporarily loop’ in order to avoid dealing with my feelings. I do not LIKE my feelings. I consider them a major pain in the butt. When my grandpa died, I was a wreck before it happened. I didn’t even know him that well, but it took him a long time to die. His organs slowly shut down. I was so immersed in the pain of what was happening to my loved ones, that I cried way more than any of them. But after his death, my Te immediately kicked in. Mom wanted to clear out his house. Like, immediately. That’s how she copes.
So we did. I put aside my emotions, went into that house, and went through all my grandparents’ stuff. We filled a dumpster. I organized everything we decided to keep in piles for the family to choose from after the funeral. A lot of my decisions were people-motivated – my cousins loved playing these games with Grandma. Shall we keep them? I’ll make sure they have all the pieces and put them in nice piles. I did the funeral video. Everyone needs a Ne-dom for that. It wasn’t just about Grandpa, it was about his life. His dreams. His parents. The culture he grew up in. I managed the voice-over, without falling to pieces.
And then, I moved on.
My Si is very poor. I may be adverse to CHANGE when people announce it (and I have to deal with it a lot, my parents literally cannot live six months without changing their house around, the yard, etc) but I am not stuck in the past. Half the time it never comes to my mind. The past flows beyond me. A day can seem a week ago, and three years ago can seem like yesterday. I gaped when a friend showed me a picture recently with 2014 stamped on the bottom. That was that long ago!? My grasp on time sucks. My awareness of time sucks. My own carelessness with time… sucks. A Si-friend recently said, “You should take more pictures with your cat. You will want them when she’s eventually gone.”
I stared at her. “I will?”
See, I don’t think like that. When people, places, things, are gone, I miss them. I love them. I still think about them sometimes, but they are gone. I do not pour over pictures. I do not sit and endlessly talk about the past. I do not want to think about the past. I moved on.
Sometimes, people tell me I should slow down, or take more time with that, since they do not want me to “look back one day, and regret this moment.”
Thing is, that probably won’t happen. I rarely go back.
Unless I hurt someone badly, and never received their forgiveness, or am beating myself up about something I should have done to stop something bad from happening, I don’t look back and regret. You cannot drive a car staring into your rear view mirror. In that way, I am careless. But I don’t know how to NOT be careless. Things matter right now, and then they’re gone. I loved that show, but it’s canceled. There’s new stuff to watch. I take in so much of it (as a Ne-dom), only a few things stick longer than six months.
And sometimes, I desperately want them to stick. I sit with someone or something loving it, immersed in its beauty, and think, “How can I hold onto it? I already feel it slipping away! WHY CAN’T I APPRECIATE THIS MORE?”
Inferior Si.
This is going to sound weird, because it is weird. But, under stress… I start obsessively tinkering with sensory elements. I’ve been editing and rewriting a book for what seems like forever (forever to me is four months, but I don’t want to talk about how this is the eighth draft of the fourth version of this book in two years) which is very tedious, Si-driven work. My Te is happy to help out with deadlines, and charts, and word counts, and I have a nice little sheet of paper with things marked on it, where I enter my progress each day to keep myself motivated. But I swear on my soul, yesterday when I opened the file, my Si went nuts and said: I don’t like this font. It curls funny. Change it.
So I did.
And then I sat there for at least ten minutes, changing the font, again and again, then the sizing several times. I printed out a page to see how it will look in book form, then promptly forgot which configuration I used (poor Si!) and had to print several more sheets in different sizes. I never did figure out which was the font and what size I used for that first sheet. (Shame, I like it the best.) Then I resized the file across my screen, to try and get the font to ‘curl how I like it, so I could read it. I cannot read it, unless it’s the right size. And font. And I must edit so there are no paragraphs that end with one word on the next line.
(Are you laughing yet? Is that not pathetic? Welcome to my life.)
Screw inferior Si. It’s bullshit.
I never know how to say this without hurting feelings but… Fi-doms are sensitive and since INFPs have higher Si, they do not forgive you fast.
Think about two terrific insults against NFPs (from future husbands) in literature and compare them to how you process things.
Gilbert Blythe pulls Anne Shirley’s braid and calls her carrots. The little INFP smashes her slate against his head and screams at him in class. She then tells Diana “the iron has entered my soul: I shall never forgive him,” and proceeds to ignore him, compete with him, and refuse to speak to him. For years. Gibert has to grovel to get on her good side, many times. She is super sensitive and her emotions flare up immediately. “You hurt me EXCRUCIATINGLY,” she says. She means it. He DID.
Mr. Darcy insults Lizzie’s appearance (she is not handsome enough to tempt me into a dance – ie, she’s not that pretty) in Pride & Prejudice. ENFP Lizzie gapes at him, then promptly turns it into a joke. She never brings it up again. She’s mad, but more mad about what he does to Jane than his insult. She finally confronts him when he proposes, but not about that. No, it was not the insult that hit her; it was the impression she formed of his character, based on it. And when he writes her a letter that basically calls out her family for being loud, obnoxious, inappropriate trash, she is pissed but has enough high Te to realize: he has every right to feel that way about us, based on what he saw. Once she realizes WHY he thinks how he does, her anger cools. And her mind changes about him. The anger dissipates.
Did he hurt her? Sure. Deeply? Not so much.
Someone walked up to my INFP the other day and insulted her appearance. It hurt. A lot. She will probably never speak to him again.
A person insulted me to my face at dinner a few years ago. He basically implied the people I work with and the caliber of their work is poor, and I should do a better job selecting the material we work on together. (IE: Wow, you suck.) I bitch-slapped him good with a Te-snarl comeback and … promptly moved on. I was mildly annoyed by it, and it certainly colored our interactions from that point on, but I wasn’t hurt by it so much as annoyed. We stayed “friends.”
I can count the number of times people have actually hurt my feelings on one hand. My Te is strong.
How do I know this?
I’m one of the first people to come up with a rational, non-emotional “fix it” to problems. I often discount my own feelings or put them aside entirely, to get a job done. I remember one time, a friend PM’d me after I wrote a movie review and said, “But did you LIKE it?? You wrote an excellent review, but it was so non-emotional I don’t even know what YOU thought of it.” I criticized the poor elements and talked about the good ones, but there was none of “me” there.
I admit, I was a little more emotionally reactive as a child / young teeanger, but Fi still wasn’t running the show. Most Fi-dom children are very sensitive. When asked what I was like, various family members (without consulting one another) have laughed and said, “Your focus was on being a comedian. You wanted to make people laugh. But you were not especially emotional.”
I’m not. It’s true. Sometimes to my own determent.
- ENFP Mod
PS: If you get to the end of this certain you are an NFP, but you don’t know what you do in a situation in order to compare it to Lizzie or Anne’s emotional reactions, congrats: that’s shitastic inferior Si. You are an indecisive Ne-dom.

The smoke settles to reveal HAN SOOAH, also known as HANAH, a 28 year old were-rabbit of Sunseong. She is an herbalist who appears to be adept with healing magic and enhanced senses --- but like most things in Sunseong, there must be more to her than meets the eye.
FACECLAIM: Kim Taeyeon, snsd
APPEARANCE:
She only uses her rabbit form in two ways: as a way for her to get to her destination as fast as possible or to sneak somewhere to obtain herbs. A small brown bag is often seen hanging around her neck to carry her required medicine. Although she is stealthy, she forgets about it when she answers an emergency call.
BIOGRAPHY:
Tragedy /ˈtradʒɪdi/ adjective: March 2001
My father was helpless. No, we were all helpless. There was no knowing they would come, not in this depth of the night where sleep was almost upon us.
I never knew the tragedy that would befall a family as innocent as mine would come. My home was a place of safety and reassurance, where even the worst of the darkness could not befall us—at least that was what mother had told me.
The screams of my mother were ingrained into my memory, the agonising yell that left my father’s lips, the same mouth where praises for me have left, sounded like an unorganised orchestra played by tortured souls. I could taste the regret and fear clinging to his yell amongst the sound of bullets firing in the air. When I peeked through the door Mother beckoned me to run with only one look, so I did, as quiet and as fast as I could. The sounds of slashing still reverberated throughout the house. I could taste the iron in my mouth … (I can still taste it)
It was only after silence had fallen did I realise I was in my room’s closet, clinging to my legs as strands of the moon’s light seep in through its cracks. My vision became blurry, my cheeks heating and a strange pain stuck in my throat. Something akin to snakes wriggled in my abdomen and my feet planted to the floor, demanding me to stay and obey mother’s words. It was an unfamiliar feeling, an unwelcome condition.
Fear.
I never left that room. I never planned to. Not until the warmth of the sun greeted my skin. I was woken by the sound of footsteps and my closet door opening. Devastation rang loud in the core of my stomach, certainty of my doom overcame my whole being. My small feet and arms flailed in the air, trying its best to hit whatever thing that grabbed me. A voice eventually reached my ears and recognition rang through my head. I realised it was Uncle, his face stricken with grief that it was almost unrecognisable. He carried me in his arms, I remember it being warm. As we walked out I could see traces of flesh scattered across the dining room table. Aunt sat by my mother to urge her to come out, but sanity had left her eyes, leaving nothing but an empty shell and a scar slashing down her face into her chest. Overwhelmed, darkness consumed me once more.
Resolution / rɛzəˈluːʃ(ə)n/ noun: April 2001
I made an oath on my father’s grave, an oath of vengeance. My uncle heard me, and instead told me to promise to heal mother instead. I didn’t want to promise anything with Uncle, but then I remembered that look my mother wore every time I came to visit after the incident–t always sent an icy wave down my spine. A new oath forged in the form of words, mother will see light.
Looking back, I am grateful to Uncle. If not for him, I would be buried under the ground alongside my father by now.
Determination / dɪˌtəːmɪˈneɪʃ(ə)n/ noun: June 2001 – 2007
Uncle and Aunt took me in. They taught me everything they knew, harnessing that small spark of magic that settled within me, helping it sprout into what I am now. Before I knew it, learning plants became my life. Each day consisted of scrutinising every leaf that fell from the trees, every weed that grew within the garden, every flower that sprouted on the side of the road. I memorised everything from colour, texture, taste, names, properties, down to the soil it grew from. Along the way, I heard of a guild, one that wasn’t as ruthless as DSEM, and it piqued my interest. I joined as soon as I could and before long my life became so full.
It wasn’t long before Aunt realised she had taught me everything she knew. Without wasting much time, I left home to further my knowledge. I never did thank them, I should go back this weekend for a visit.
End /ɛnd/ noun: 2016
I will not speak of the blood shed.
Quiet /ˈkwʌɪət/ adjective: 2016 - Present
By the time I have reached my level of proficiency, I was so tired. I forfeit my badge and continued to tend the small clinic at my own home. It was a welcome change of pace I never knew I needed.
Although, this year there have been no difference compared to the day of my youth. It is teeming with fear and horror in the air and it sticks to my skin, it’s so hard to wash off at night. The thought of my mother rests in my mind, still stuck at her home, still an emotionless shell. I am slow in my progress, distraction stems from so much conflict around me. I pray this year I can further my studies for Mother. I miss hearing her voice so much.
CHARACTERIZATION:
She is a composed woman and is always seen with a gentle smile across her face. Many people see her as source of comfort amidst all the chaos, and sometimes she only need to step into the room to birth a sliver of hope among the despair.
However, when she sees or hears something related to herbology or healing magic of some kind, her composed demeanour melts and she’s seen as an excited small child eager to learn.
She wishes she can become close friends with all the supernatural creatures just so she can learn more about their biology and anatomy, though she makes it hard for herself to relate anything with anyone seeing how far behind she is with the current trends.
As a result of her focus in her studies, you can count the number of friends she has on one hand
She’s also selective when it comes to friendship. Her trust is hard to obtain or maintain but she will always be polite to those around her.
Dislikes violence and war in general – will generally stay away from any conflict when she is not needed.
Prefers to keep her hair short, she finds that it doesn’t distract her as much when she’s crouched on the floor invested in her research.
Her interest in any intimate relationship is close to zero. She believes that time will come in the far future.
Only a few of her closest friends have her emergency contact phone, those who call will hear a knocking at their door within minutes.
Despises how DSEM works as a hunter association. She secretly wants to throw it down. Plans brew in her mind from time to time as if to give her a small break from her research and studies.
SPECIALTIES:
Shape Shifting + Rabbit Speech, Innate Abilities (0 pts): Being born a were-rabbit, she has the most basic control over her shape-shifting. She can shift from her human form to her rabbit form, but that is all. Small control over her shifting is non-existent. She understands rabbit speech through her extended family who live in the forest and thus her rabbit speech is still fluent.
Enhanced Senses, Rank I (20 pts): The only senses that are enhanced when she chooses to use this are smell and hearing. She has been practicing enhancing her senses whenever she can as a way to protect herself and identifying herbs. When she uses this, she is able to identify smells she’s both familiar and unfamiliar with such as one found in plants or the sweat of predators. This way, it is more likely for her to find rare herbs as well as smelling the danger before it’s too late.
Plant Healing, Rank III (80 pts): Keeping in touch with her elements, she enhances and harnesses her skills in healing for almost her entire life. She mainly focuses on physical injuries such as bite wounds and injuries from fights or accidents. Despite her many years of study mental injuries is still something she is unable to tackle, though she can relieve it albeit in small quantity. In order to heal, she uses herbs as a medium to transfer her healing magic into them by either enhancing, adding or manipulating its properties. The extent of her healing are as follows:
She is able to heal: cuts, bruises, and burns; recovering medium blood loss; all levels of fractures; reattaching limbs – although nerves may remain damaged and normal control will never return; minor internal damage. A more severe damage can be healed, however there is no guaranteed success and often not recommended by herself.
The success rate of healing wounds decreases as the fatality of the wound increases, the base being 99% (small cuts, broken nail, minor burns) to 5% (severely damaged organs, spine injury). Failure in her magic can mean worsening the wound or, depending on the wound. even lead to death.

On growing up partially deaf
It has only been quite recently that I have thought deeply about how my deafness has contributed to my personal development. I was moderately hard-of-hearing as a child and teenager, until I had an operation at 20 that greatly improved my hearing, but it is still far from perfect. What does that do to a person? I’ll tell you what it did to me.
I went to a normal school, I have never worn hearing aids, I have never learned sign language. As far as I am aware, growing up I never had friends in a similar situation. A cousin, yes (who, by the way, has an entirely different personality to mine!), but not close associates. And for me, this all seemed all right. Well, mostly. Deafness is isolating. I was always aware that when my friends were “mumbling” around me, they could understand and hear each other, they were building friendships, developing communication skills, and I was excluded from that. My role was to stand in the group and try to catch snippets of the conversation. But I quickly learned that, both at home and at school, if you can’t hear what is being said, you are in a very poor position to contribute your own ideas. At home I would try more, feeling more confident, but exchanged looks between my parents let me know that very often I was repeating things which had already been said. These types of things made me a quieter person, for sure.
With isolation comes introspection. Talking less gives you time to think more. I spend a lot of time pondering things over, thinking deeply. This has a positive on effect on study, and I have become something of a perfectionist when it comes to getting good grades. I remember an episode of the Simpsons when Lisa NEEDED to be graded and to get her ‘A’ fix…. I can relate! The perfectionism might also have to do with self-esteem issues… more of that in a minute.
A few years ago I asked a hearing friend of mine, who has learned sign language, what it is that she likes about deaf people. One thing she mentioned that stuck with me is that deaf people tend to be very humble. Of course, if you have no idea what the people around you are saying, you aren’t going to act like you know more than everyone else. You literally depend on them to amplify the details of what is happening around you. I went to see my ear doctor with my parents very regularly as a child (they were wonderful to take me so often, thinking back it must have been quite an inconvenience). After each and every one of our appointments, I remember asking “what did he say?”, I had understood very little, and needed confirmation of what i thought i had heard. Deafness also took away my ability to collaboratively make plans, I found that all i could do is ask what everyone else had decided and follow along. So yes, deafness creates humility, which I actually see as a positive thing. Humble people are more peaceable, more willing and able to see the other point of view. Perhaps people with an experience of deafness are more predisposed to be courteous and respectful.
Deafness, ironically, has probably made me a better listener. This seems to be a theme among people relating their deaf experiences. I make sure I have time to listen to whoever needs to talk, because I consider listening a privilege. And when I listen, I listen holistically. I don’t just listen to the words, but to all the other clues, since I grew up depending on those clues. Facial expressions, body language, tone, the context, even the timing of the conversation. I probably find lies easier to detect (although humbleness most of the time cancels out calling someone out on them!). I also experience a strong sense of empathy, the emotions of the speaker seem to reach my core, to the point that it can be hard to distinguish my feelings from theirs.
Try having a childhood where you can’t hear what the characters in cartoons are saying! It is excellent exercise for the imagination. I would watch T.V., making up stories in my head to go with the pictures. Of course, they would never make much sense because the script writers had a different idea for their story and would go off in a completely different direction! Nevertheless, it makes for a very rich and active inner world. This was reflected in the stories I wrote for school, I will have to post them when I get a chance. Watching T.V. this way, I got to practice lateral thinking, creative agility and even, I would say, developed a kind of resilience, optimism and adaptability for when things don’t go as expected. To the extent that I don’t even really expect things to go how I expect.
There is an enduring sense of not really belonging. When you are in a group and everyone speaks to each other but you are excluded, you don’t feel like you truly belong in that group. This extends to other things in what I think is a positive way. If you don’t fully belong to a group, you are less susceptible to any kind of “tribalism”, and perhaps then less likely to base your view of people on stereotypes. This opens the way to wonderful experiences, being more open to befriend people from different backgrounds. Also, if you are already used to being different to the people around you, it is less scary to do such things as live abroad (I do), and take a stand for what you think is right, rather than be governed by peer pressure. But it can also be a little saddening, when, for example, your fellow countrymen don’t realise you are from the same place because of the effect deafness has had on your accent!
I have a wonderful friend, who got married this summer. One ‘velada’ as they say in Spanish (night-time-gathering-chat) during her wedding weekend, we were speaking about when we met with some friends of hers that I hadn’t met before. She and I met when we lived together, volunteering to teach English in a school when we were 19. I always enjoyed her company, but she relates that she disliked me at first. Because often, if she said something to me, I would either ignore her, or just look at her. Until one day, feeling angry, she asked me “are you deaf?” And I told her that I was, a bit, and from then she would be sure to tap my shoulder or something to get my attention before she started speaking to me. After that the friendship was not so one-sided!
The thing is, when you are hard-of-hearing, you don’t really necessarily understand what effect that can have on others. I didn’t mention my hearing before she asked about it, because, firstly, I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it, and secondly, because I just didn’t realise how important it was to let friends know this. When poor hearing is all you know, you don’t know what you are missing. You don’t know you are rudely ignoring someone if you don’t hear them. Knock-on effect: people think you are rude, so they don’t like you, they don’t seek friendship with you. Knock-on effect: you sense this, but don’t understand that they think you are being rude. Knock-on effect: you think there must be something pretty fundamentally wrong with you because, as nice as you try to be, people aren’t interested in being your friend. Knock-on effect: low self-esteem. Low self-esteem can then negatively affect your ability to make wise decisions. To think of my most extreme example (and speaking now as frankly as I dare on a public platform), if there is a person who does choose to show you affection for a while, you might feel a need to cling to them, and even do things to keep their attention that you really rather wouldn’t do. This may be true even if you do have a loving family, and a few good friends. However, even though low self-esteem has caused me to make some questionable choices, in my case I believe it is now better balanced with the self-awareness deep thought brings. I might still struggle from time to time with feelings of worthlessness, feeling that I am no good, that little voice in my head that tells me people don't really like me but are just being nice has never completely gone away; but, I am managing my unhealthy mental habits, I am getting there.
On the flip-side, I believe that true friends that do know you are somewhat deaf will be understanding, protective, and make an extra effort to look out for you, which adds sweetness to life.
As I mentioned at the outset, my hearing today is better than it was. But I still cannot hear anybody who whispers to me! Reflecting on things and writing this though, I see that the best way to deal with this is just to tell them I can’t hear them. Plain and simple. Writing is a healing, no? I still find it hard to work out which direction sounds are coming from… which can be infuriating if I ask my husband to call my phone so I can find it! Not as helpful as you might think! It works best in the dark. Speaking of the dark, the lack of directional hearing makes nighttime sounds unsettling, as I often cannot work out if a sound is coming from inside or outside the house. I tend to try and ignore them. In terms of non-hearing ear problems, occasionally my ear has bad days when it just drains my energy, almost as if my ear is an energy tap and somebody has left it running, and I just have to lie down for a while. Thankfully though this is happening less and less frequently.
So, I will wrap up here. The takeaway is that deafness can have both positive and negative effects. I feel I have, at 32, just about passably caught up in terms of conversation skills (mind you, living the last 11 years in a Spanish speaking country may have slowed me down a bit!). I probably would have benefitted as a child and teenager from a little more guidance about how to navigate the world with poor hearing. I have only lived my life, and obviously can’t be sure what I would be like today if i had grown up with fully functional hearing. But I like myself, most of the time (!), and deafness has helped to make me me. What is there to do, but to embrace it.

Yet Another OC Meme (50 Q&A)
I'm not sure what the original post was but if anyone knows please tell me so that I can link it to this one. (blame 9th grade me). http://nekotan-chou.tumblr.com/post/120740460331/loi-got-this-from-some-other-post-1-your-first So this is a "yetanotherocmeme" that I did a couple years ago //cries// and I cringe. I cringe heavily. I don't roleplay anymore much less create individual or fan OCs nowadays. This questionnaire will only revolve around the 200+ characters I acknowledge as still in use. Virtually all of the ones from the first post are abandoned. SO MUCH CRINGE. Also, I know that a lot of these questions specify just one OC but I like talking about ALL of them. 1. Your first OC ever? Looking back through old sketchbooks, it was actually a group of Kingdom Hearts OCs. The one that sticks to memory most, however, was supposedly the daughter of Kairi and Sora. 2. Do you have a personal favorite among your OCs? Liluna Maefield. She's my absolute favorite character. I love developing her character and her design is actually one of my favorites. Ironically enough, she's also the furthest away from my general character designs/personalities. 3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else? I don't believe so. I have many characters that are influenced by other people and their characters but I don't think I've ever had one directly. 4. A character you rarely talk about? Seiren. He exists but I don't normally delve into him. During the early drafts of Secret (during the cringe years), Seiren was the Teacher to Violet, whose a special type of Mage. In the current version of Secret, Seiren is the father of Violet and Liore 5 If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be? Riden. If I make Riden popular, that would mean people would read Litheliun. All my time and effort put into that story won't have been for naught. Also because Riden is one of my most complicated and the second favorite after Liluna. I love his character designs. 6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related? Prior to my redesigning to diversify my character designs, the characters that were most similar without purposeful relation were Lucas of Secret and Day of re:Meetings. Looking back on it though, I think re:Meetings was a recycled plot line of Secret but I just forgot that fact. 7. Are your OCs part of any story or stories? All of them are. I'm a writer nowadays so all of my OCs are characters created for my stories. I have a master list of my main works /here!/ 8. Do you RP as any of your OCs? If you do, introduce one of your RP OCs here! All of my OCs used to be RP OCs, however, I mentioned I wouldn't use any of the ones from prior to 9th grade and that was really the last times I role played. There was one, however, from this year. Their name is Anaro. They're a merperson from the Voltron: Legendary Defenders universe. I used them as a character for an OC-centric Voltron AU with my friends. They're flirtatious. They also travel around on either a wheelchair or a fish tank on wheels. 9. Would you ever be willing to give any of your OCs to someone else? I really would depend on the situation, what I'm getting in return, and which character. 10. Introduce an OC with a complicated design? I want to Sora Davit due to his scar and eccentricities but almost all of the main characters of Dragons have rather ornate designs. 11. Is there any OC of yours you could describe as a “sunshine”? Mikaela Kay. Now and forever. She's no longer a universal RP character since s has a set role as one of the leading sidekicks of the Litheliun: Eternal. 12. Name an OC that isn't yours but who you like a lot. Jun's character Alwyn! He's been put through a lot! He deserves happiness with his family!!!! 13. Do you have troublemaker OCs? Gods below, yes. A majority of my characters are chaotic neutral or even just chaotic in general. 14. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstory Liore and his older sister were suddenly dropped off at the orphanage. There he met his soulmate. He wasn't a prime candidate for adoption because he couldn't be separated from his sister who was too old, in her teens, for most couples. His soulmate did get adopted and they began to fade away from each. Then he and Violet "die" at the hands of his soulmate. He resurrects with no memories or hints of his life beforehand. He wanders around until he's picked up by a kind couple who had recently founded what would become the Red Outlaws guild. Unfortunately, the happiness wouldn't last when a family friend betrays them. In a course of events, battles wage and his parents die. 15. Do you like to talk about your OCs with other people? Yes! Please! Talk to me! I created this entire blog just to do that (and world build). 16. Which one of your OCs would be the best at biology (school subject)? A lot of my Litheliun characters. Pheal is actually an anthropologist with a hobby focusing around cryptozoology. Ziren learned a lot from Pheal and is a scientist in his own right as a botanist. Chiron, despite being a renowned chemist, would actually be very good at biology. She just doesn't like it. Reidoux would also be best at biology since she studied the body. Had it not been for the war, she would've actually become a marine biologist. 17. Any OC OTPs? Yes! Chiron and Liluna are my precious married girls! I love drawing them together and it's fun to do so. 18. Any OC crack ships? I'm terrified to say that there is one. It's Ziren x Jasper. The idea once popped into my head and it hasn't left. Ever. 19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why) Riden Olivyon. Believe it or not, he's actually one of my oldest original OCs right next to Ziren. I never really delved into him as much as I tried to outline a plot for Litheliun back in my younger years so he's not really brought up often from back then. If memory serves right, Riden was also originally based off of my mom (they're both born in August Leo's). I worked, reworked, and fixed Riden from the jumbled mess he already was into a pretty decent character. He's probably my greatest achievement. 20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)? Hm... Yes? Riden does technically sing when he has a voice. The world of Litheliun doesn't really have verbal music since language had been destroyed not too long ago and it's been a struggle to build it back up. His voice is lilting and is reminiscent to bells. It's also pretty raspy. He sings to music boxes. Oh, and they're Harriet! She is quite literally a famous singer named Rehenna (a cheap alias based on a book series he likes). It's difficult to pinpoint his music genre but it's something like pop and Celtic. 21. Your most artistic OC Chiron Hallows. Prior to becoming a chemist, she worked as a commissioned artist. On the flip side, Cedar Flores became an artist as a hobby after taking a liking to drawing the blueprints for Meth's inventions. 22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how? I wouldn't know. I doubt anyone even knows my characters exist beyond a visual design. 23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like? ..... Virtually all of Litheliun, all of the Secret Series. Holy frick none of my original plans go out right. However, there is Skylar Davit of Fantys Aurea. His original personality was meant to be a true villain who greatly enjoyed villainy. However, after infiltrating the hero school and befriending the students there, he decides to become a hero himself. In his current personality, he became a vigilante in hopes of finding his missing brother. When Sora does eventually return, Skylar finds himself enjoying screwing around. He's a trickster over a sheer villain. He stays a villain through the rest of his life with bouts of vigilantism here and there to assist his hero boyfriend Joseph. (also, I wanted to give him blue hair so I made his original sociopathy a side effect of a loss of emotions while using his power) 24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why. No. They'd all try to kill me. 25. The OC that resembles you the most (same hobby, height, shared like/dislike for something etc?) Chiron Hallows actually uses a redesign from //cringes// Kanoka Seiwa, an RP OC who was based entirely off of me. Not only is her physical appearance similar but she's also an artist. Luckily, I've managed to make her her own person over the years. On another note, Sapphyr Mata is quite literally based on a self-insert with a design taken from a character physically based off of me, Phiran Korand. A lot of the characters from Secret are based on my irl friends and myself. 26. Have you ever had to change your OC’s design or something else about them against your will? With my current characters, no, not really. If I change something about them, it's mostly because I either wanted to or forgot the original aspect of them, improvised, and it stuck. 27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song? While the characters themselves were created based on the song, Blake and Ruby's story, as well as their personalities, were inspired by the song "Both Sides of the Story" by We Are The In Crowd. I did end up changing this plot line so the original is more of a backstory leading to the events. They still hate each other but they don't end up back together in the current version. 28. Your most dangerous OC. Depends on your definition of dangerous. If you mean by potential danger, then Kylan, Goddess of Destruction. She can remove anything from existence, even souls. Luckily, she's level-minded and is very responsible. If you mean as actually shown being dangerous, then... Oh, that's difficult. Many of my antagonists/morally ambiguous protagonists are ALL considerably dangerous. 29. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone they’re going? Avery "AJ" James. It's pretty much her job to investigate abandoned areas without telling anyone. Aside from her.... Jamie Rowen maybe? 30. Which one of your OCs would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection? Secret? Almost any of the ones who have a stuffed animal collection would display it proudly. 31. Pick one OC of yours and explain what their tumblr blog would be like (what they reblog, layout, anything really) Pheal Nascal would have a conspiracy/science blog. They'd have spent days upon days coding the layout with Matrix by their side. Ironically, it'd be mostly pastel colors. 32. Which one of your OCs would be the most suitable horror game protagonist and why? ..... Um.... The characters of Dragons? I've been tempted to dive into the tragedy genre and me doing so usually means horror genre too. It's kinda weird. Aside from them, Sora Davit. Previous child quite literally went through a horror game scenario on his way to escaping. 33. Your shyest OC? Young Phiran. He was a rather tiny thing and during the course of Litheliun, he had just awoken from a coma and with amnesia. He's not very good at socializing and can barely speak more than a few words at a time at a whisper-level. He was easily frightened. 34. Do you have any twin characters? A LOT. The most notable are Sora and Skylar. Under the right circumstances, they can pass as identical and have a tendency to steal each other's identities since they're both wanted criminals. There's also Riddle and Rhyme (although Riddle had stopped aging around 16 while both of them are presently 19), Derek and Dylan, Evan and Eloise, Mil and Mira, and Ioryn and Carolyn. Then I have my fraternal twins, Wren and Harriet. Neither of them know they're even close to related. Both of them like to hide behind their undefined ages. 35. Any siblings characters. Aside from the twins, there's also A LOT. Most of them are adopted, half-siblings, or dead. Justin and Jay, Jasmine and Jaden, Avery and Avalon, Stella and Alice, Jun and Jewel, and Violet and Liore are the most notable siblings. Sonja is the older sibling of Sora and Skylar, while Riddle and Rhyme are the eldest to Silica, Erick, Meric, and Pyrus. There's a lot more. 36. Do you have OC pairs where the other part belongs to someone else (siblings, lovers, friends etc)? I'm not entirely sure what this is supposed to mean now that I'm actually reading it. "Pair" is a rather vague word. 37. Introduce an OC who is not quite human. I'm a fantasy genre writer. NONE of them are "quite human". However, I'll introduce Rubee Sonata. She's a vampire born after the fabeled Flooding of Terraria and her parents had apparently been born shortly before the Flooded waters sunk down to regular bodies of water. Her clan had joined together with another clan, the Novellas. During her youth, she was childhood sweethearts with the Novella heir, as was to be expected as she was the Sonata heir. Rubee, like her predecessors, were cursed to rely entirely on the Novellas for their immortality while the Novellas relied on the Sonatas for sanity. The curse manifests itself as a ruby embedded in the front of her neck. 38. Which one of your OCs would be the best dancer? Either Onyx Mata or Eloise Tallon. Both are vaguely based off of my sister who is a rather amazing competitive dancer. 39. Introduce any character you want Avalon James is the deuteragonist of Secrets Behind Lock and Key. During the original concept, however, he was the sole main character. His book was styled like a journal and he was the author. In the current version, it's Avery and she is the one who found the journal. Avalon is considered the "host" of the Seven Vices. While his body does indeed act as the basis of the Seven Vices, he himself as a soul is the vice of Lust. During the current version of SBLAK, Avalon is around 27-28 years old and is one of only three members - the other two being his closest companions - of the gang literally known as Vices. He's also thought to be dead for most of the book. It isn't until an infiltration mission where he is mistaken for his sister is he revealed to have been alive this entire time. 40. Any fond memories linked to your characters? Feel free to share! I don't think I have any linked to the characters themselves aside from the actual process of creating them. No one is really interested in my characters so I never get the chance to develop or think of them outside of the words being put down through typing or through pencil. 41. Has anyone drawn fanart of your OCs? If yes, maybe show a picture or two here (remember sources & permissions!) Yes! Henry draws my characters on occasion without me having to request that she do so. My favorite one is of Ziren with Riden's back facing the camera in the background with leaves everywhere! The link to it is here! 42. Which one of your OCs would be the most interested in Greek gods? My actual God characters, of course! Godly Affairs occurs in a world where the human race managed to wipe itself out. The Greek pantheon is one of the few pantheons that managed to survive and flourish in the new world so the newer pantheons admire them greatly. 43. Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It’s time to confess I have a rather wide range of characters designs but in earlier designs, you could typically find a reoccurring theme of white hair, red-eyed undead characters, fire-powered red-heads usually as an ode to my first original work OC, Mikaela), and characters with short black hair, a blue color scheme, and somewhat relating to sapphires. In my stories, you might even notice how some characters tend to have altered replicas in groups of 4 to 7 across their universes. I enjoyed using my irl friends as the characters themselves. 45. A character you no longer use? Look at the original post for this. All except for Mikaela. 46. Has anyone ever told you that you treat your OCs badly? Yes. All the time. I tell it to myself too. 47. Has anyone ever (friendly) claimed any of your OCs as their child? No, not really. As I've mentioned before, no one really cares. 48. Which one of your OCs would most likely enjoy memes Rubell and Joseph. They are casual existential despair personified that cover it up with memes. 50. Give me the good ol’ OC talk here. Talk about anything you want All of Them: Help me.
