cringetober day 30 (halloween)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my GOD i actually finished a full month prompt list for once!!!!!!!!! im so proud of myself!!!!!!!!! i drew my sonas in costume and then a halloween party featuring some of my ocs from the story in my head <3 yippeeeee now i can sleep-in (in the art department) for a month ^-^

dick is a traditionally romantic kind of husband. buys you fresh flowers every week, insists on carrying all the groceries inside himself (all in one trip btw), opens doors for you and pouts when you beat him to it, lays you down and eats you out proper when he gets home from work. he loves to spoil you when you least expect it, taking you out on surprise dates or paying for you to get your nails done after a long day. he likes to constantly remind you and anyone that’ll listen that he’s your husband and that you’re his wife. really wouldn’t shut up about it after you’d first gotten married. i think deep down he’s a white picket fence kind of guy and he’d save up the whole time you’re engaged (and honestly for a while before that) to buy a nice little house for the two of you. you painted the walls together and he moved the furniture and decor around wherever you wanted. you start up your own little traditions as time goes on. on the last friday of every month you and dick experiment with new recipes, usually baking per his request. more than half the time it ends up inedible and quite literally falling apart, but you value the flour fights and post-taste testing messy kisses more than the leftovers or lack thereof. you like to handout candy on halloween to the neighborhood kids together and tidy up the house together when it’s needed.

jason’s main priority as a husband is making sure that you’re taken care of. he’d give you everything he possibly could and would find a way to compensate for what he couldn’t. he’ll get you the prettiest ring you’ve ever seen and he has a thing about holding your hand and watching it shine in the light. jason really is mr. domesticity and he would straight up build you a house. it would be a big plot of land, pretty isolated with trees all around. it’s probably like 30-45 minutes outside of gotham and well out of the typical range of danger. he’s more than happy to help you fill it with babies of your own and anything you could have dreamed of having when you were little. forever night owls, you’re prone to midnight parties with just the two of you and moonlight walks around the property. not to mention, he absolutely loves having a whole house worth of space to fuck you wherever and whenever he wants—it’s opened you up to a lot of new experiences. i also honestly think he would give up being red hood to settle down with you, at least for the most part. he’ll still suit up to help when there’s bad emergencies in gotham or his brothers need his help but he’s like 80/20 retired.

Toastystats: Halloween fanworks!

So the thing is, I get to Blaze one post per month by virtue of having Tumblr Premium. And (while I have enjoyed Blazing pictures of my cats in the past) I thought perhaps this month people might enjoy some Halloween fandom stats + fic lists? So I threw something together. First, the stats:

Less that 1% of AO3 fanworks use the "Halloween" tag (or a subtag like "Happy Halloween" -- only 0.32%, in fact. But I found some big fandoms (10K+ works) that use a substantially higher-than-average rate of Halloweenery. (I couldn't look through every fandom on AO3, but I did look through all the fandoms with 10K+ fanworks as of January 2024. Note that some fandoms may write about Halloween a bunch without tagging it, and those aren't be captured here.)

Fall Out Boy leads the pack among these big fandoms, with nearly 1% of its fanworks using the "Halloween" tag or a subtag (0.93%). (I'd be curious to hear theories about why!) Some of the other fandoms shown above have a natural element of spookiness or horror (e.g., IT, Stranger Things), but many do not. The longer list is here. (These stats are based on pretty small numbers, btw, so please don't take these rankings too seriously. This is just a bit of fun.)

I also thought people might want to read some Halloween-themed fics from each of the above top 25 fandoms, so I highlighted works from each fandom that were complete and highly kudosed. If you're curious, the list includes this sort of info:

Before we get there, could I interest you in taking a quick poll, since I am Blazing this post and curious about the audience Blaze reaches? Thanks -- and happy Halloween season! :)

The construction of these lists was definitely not an exact science. For each fandom or relationship category, I filtered to only show works with the "Halloween" tag. I then looked for complete fics in each fandom that appeared to actually be about Halloween or a spooky topic (based on their summary and/or a quick text search), and had a lot of kudos. (I didn't actually read these fanworks myself, though.) I also tried to diversify and make sure that each category included a variety of ships/fandoms. I ruled out collections of one-shots and things that appeared to be part of a long series such that they couldn't be read as a standalone. I also ruled out things that looked like incredible bummers, and honestly a few things that had major grammatical errors in the summaries.

But I linked to more in each case, so you don't have to visit the example fics I highlighted -- you can explore more on your own!

Also -- I did a lot of copy/pasting, and there may be errors in here. Feel free to let me know if you find any. Thanks, and enjoy!

i've been thinking about this a bit more, and i do think that WL events could very likely be a separate thing that runs over the top of a normal event. 7 days is too short for the October 3 event, especially since nothing has been said in advance about the event either being not a Cheerful Carnival or being drastically shortened. plus after watching the MMJ teaser a few more times while writing the analysis there is no way it's not a shizuku event, placing that event in november slot 1 where the WLE is running. plus the event starts at the usual end time for an event (8pm JST) which is odd. for now i'm willing to say that the WLE will not count as a normal event and will be its own thing, like ranked match I guess. however still take this with a grain of salt until devs say something

Maybe they'll overlap events with world link but you have to choose which event to give points to before a live. Because i think the problem with having two events at once isn't with players having to choose between the two (most people already have to do that when two events they like are in a row) but with the leaderboards overlapping.

Assuming the event bonuses are calculated separately, let's say someone has a team that's 360% (all event 4*s and 2 cards matching unit and attribute) for the wxs event, and worth 0% for the nightcord world link (not including all the stuff with support unit).

The n25 event will get about 20% of the points that the wxs event will, meaning that if T1 for wxs is at 200,000,000 (the current estimated T1 for curtain call on en, as i can't access jp history atm), that same person will have about 40,000,000 for n25, which could put them near T100. And that's with two popular groups together, it would only get worse if you combined l/n or mmj with one of the more popular 3.

So separating the leaderboards by only allowing points to go to one event at a time would prevent this problem. Now of course it's only a matter of time to see if colopal makes a logical choice for once or if world link events are hell.

Actually this reminded me of something anon. I went over it in that 3rd anniversary master post but WLEs do have their own unique event bonus system. It lets you have a team specifically for boosting event bonus (smth that is in most other idol games by default) which can have like 12 cards I think it was on it. None of these cards contribute to your actual score but they will boost the bonus significantly. Which would actually make it WAY easier to grind event points because you can get more from less. So what I’m thinking now is maybe WLEs will be in a separate lobby, like how ranked match has its own lobby and leaderboard.

But also maybe I’m overthinking it. Like obviously the more points for less songs score bonus system is designed because of the fact each chapter of the event only lasts 3 days, so maybe they’ll just shove the support team builder on the event page. But then again the whole more for less would also be useful if you were trying to rank another event at the same time. Not to mention this event having a story that works differently to a normal event story, a unique gacha, probably not having a specific banner character due to the story focusing on every member, and the fact it starts at the time October 3 would probably end on a normal schedule (8pm on Nov 8th)… I dunno maybe this is like its own thing. Clpl please just actually tell us what the fuck is going on.

Whatever happens there will probably be changes made to the event by the time we get to the VBS one.

Okay so I know this is a silly ask but like—there are so many interesting things with certain episodes that would change if Stanford/bill was around in them. So I wanna ask about things from certain eps and stuff! Just a few simple ones(I really love this au btw it’s so interesting!!)

—How did bill respond to Mabel dating Gideon?? Or did it not happen in some way cause of him?

—Does he help Stanley scare kids on summerween? Or does he do trick or treating instead?

—So like- Did the sock opera bill plot never happen or was it just a somewhat normal play? Did he end up helping out Mabel?

I love the silly asks so much. For as messed up as the au is when you think about it, it is also still Gravity Falls, and there’s a lot of wacky hijinks afoot that I also love to think about!

— Bill was so close to adding assaulting a child to his criminal record. Mabel is his favourite out of the two at this point in time, with his relationship with Dipper still being tense at best, and he hates to see her free and chaotic spirit held down by a nine year old who’s more hair than flesh. I mean seriously! Shooting Star is a Star that needs to shine bright and unleash her boundless energy onto the world. She can’t do that if she’s being made miserable and boring.

I can see him arguing with Stan over the whole arranged couple thing, try and snap some sense back into his old, sagging brain.

I got my own Book of Bill today finally, and so a bit of this is based on the Vinegar Pete section, which, historical inaccuracies regarding one of my special interests aside, did show a pretty interesting to side to Bill, and how he is willing to give people power in the name of freeing them of their chains, alongside causing entropy. This is kind of like that, in a way.

Thinking more on it, he might even end up being there during the final confrontation — for a few reasons. Not sure which route is most plausible yet though. Either way, it’d probably be the first time he actively protects the kids from danger, namely because A) He likes Mabel B) Stan would go into a state if anything happened to these kids, which wouldn’t benefit his situation at all.

He isn’t super attached to them yet, so he lacks the same vulnerability his future self will have.

— I mentioned this in a previous ask today but Bill and Stan have a tradition of who can scare kids the most on Summerween or Halloween, so he’d be at home with Stan doing that. He’d be annoyed to know he missed the Summerween Trickster. The guy owed him money. And he missed out on eating him too? His night is ruined (he’s being dramatic).

— I haven’t fully worked out Sock Opera yet, but I do have a thing in mind where Bill is desperately trying to sabotage Dipper’s attempts with the laptop, because he really is getting way too close. His issue is he has to be more careful about it. Not really his forte. I’m not sure if that’d work alongside the original plot of that episode, or if I’ll have to scrap it and come up with something else. I’ll have to come back to this I fear.

She was beautiful with emerald eyes and soft blonde hair that flowed around her shoulders. She had to be the most beautiful girl in all of Hogwarts. All the boys loved her, her sweet smile, the sweeter smell of apples that clung to her skin like it was emanating from her pores. They tripped over themselves to serve her, her precious pets wrapped around her finger on an invisible leash.

Garreth was always sneaking out to get her ingredients from the forest, as he hated to see her cry when she complained how she feared the woods at night yet needed something for the new potion she was making. And she would always let him help and would help him with his brews out of her grateful heart.

Sebastian carried her books and helped her keep up on her notes, dark circles under his eyes. But his eyes were full of so much adoration that every girl in Hogwarts wished they were on her.

All the girls wanted to be her. Because with her walking the halls it was hopeless to find a boyfriend. Even Ominis caved her to every request, Amit made her his star, Duncan fetched her a leaf himself just because she glanced his way. She had the best clothes too,and her skin! Oh it was flawless.

Adelia Gray was the epitome of perfection but there was something off about her. Everyone she encountered seemed to vanish. But no one ever remembered. They just knew to be wary when she talked to them, not knowing if it was because of her beauty or because of the warning bells.

Her birthday was coming. She would be 17 on the 31st of October. Everyone loved Halloween and this year would be particularly special. She had requested a ball and the Headmaster agreed. Even he was infatuated with the girl, she got him to do things others could not.

“Everyone shall be invited,” she called sweetly, the gentle French accent making everyone sigh. “I consider all of you my friends here. It is rare we get such celebrations, and I want to make sure to see everyone before I go because once I am 17 I will be leaving you.”

A chorus of disappointed voices rose but was silenced when she raised a delicate hand.

“You all know I arrived later than all of you here, not even in September because of my birthday. It made it difficult for me to fit in, made it difficult for me to catch up but now, now I’ve made it. So we will have a last hurrah for me, so I can thank you all for your amazing hospitality.”

Everyone cheered, it would be a party to remember.

Adelia sighed, sinking onto her bed pulling off another ruined dress, red dripping onto the floor.

A laugh came from the smoking orb sitting on her bedside table, a dark haired girl’s image swimming among the indigo light.

“You know you should really wear something more practical for this kind of thing,” she drawled. “You could die from tripping over your dress. It’s like a cape on a broom, slowing.”

“Why, you don’t trust my abilities?” Adelia snapped back.

“I don’t when you wear something like that! A pretty white dress for murdering wizards, very practical, very demure. Doesn’t make you stand out at all.” She said sarcastically.

“If you’re going to just mock me, go away before I poison your drink next time we meet.” Adelia threatened, turning her back to pull on her nightgown.

“I’d kill you first. But anyways, I just wanted to know how the plan was going.”

“What plan? I have a lot Mel,” Adelia said as she flipped through a book of potions.

“You know what plan!! The one where you murder everyone.” The girl in the orb played with some lightning in her hand as she waited for the blonde to respond.

“Oh that one I’m not so sure about.”

“You must be bloody mad not to go through with that now after all the work you’ve put in! They hurt you, mocked you, hell even tortured and nearly killed you. They broke you, you break them you coward!!”

Adelia glowered at her but a smirk turned up her lips. “Oh I’m going to, I was just playing with you.”

“You’re too good at lying.”

“Thanks, now here’s what’s going to happen….”

Ominis didn’t usually like parties but this one he was looking forward to. Adelia had finally started to feel comfortable. Her first year was awful and their relationship was rocky. She’d done some questionable things, and he thought he had lost both his friends to the dark side forever.

But she’d come around. They both had.

She focused on her music and Sebastian was studying to be a healer. All was well.

The students no longer bribed her to do things for them, pushed her around and threatened her. No longer made fun of her from coming to the school months late. He no longer heard them throw jabs at her for her family, for her unordinary eyes, and how she was a freak being a seer.

This night would go well.

Or so he thought.

He greeted his friends one by one, Diana, Elsie, Aurelie, Lucia, as well as Gibby, Lorrain and then his girlfriend Johanna who took his arm. They were all major fans of Adelia, bending to her will but they didn't see it that way.

They didn’t see the gaslighting, the manipulation. And that was as planned, because Adelia had trained her boys to make them blind to it. Ominis’s anger seemed justified, and Sebastian’s excuses. So her tears, her sweet words, they seemed much less harmful. Just like their glasses of wine that she poured, saying it was just another one of her new recipes, the ones they loved.

“Cheers my darlings, to happy ever afters to you all. That you all experience the kindness you gave me, and never the pain and heart aches. May we dance all night long!”

Glasses clinked, a lovely sound to his ears and Ominis paused a moment to let it soak in.

Until his glass shattered on the floor when he heard the first scream.

Golden and sweet like honey, the wine went down until everything burned. It was like a fire had spread across the room, as people were lit with a consuming desire for the thing they wanted most. And it didn’t matter what it took to get it, it didn’t matter if innocents were harmed.

Because Adelia wanted everyone who ever knew her to vanish. They had destroyed her, so now they would destroy themselves, and experience what it was like to have no control, and they’d kill for her. If they destroyed each other, she could for once wash her hands clean.

People were always willing to fight each other over the smallest thing if given the right initiative.

And that was struggling with the inability to breathe, throat slowly closing as they burned inside.

Diana, Gibby, Jo and Lorrain were fighting tooth and nail, magic and no magic for Ominis, their biggest desire. Gibby was on Diana’s shoulders dragging her nails down her cheeks leaving deep gouges as they tried to reach Ominis while Lorrain unleashed purple lightning at Johanna who was a small ball of terrifying flames, melting the ground around her as she stood between them and Ominis.

Elsie, Aurelie, and Lucia were a ball on the floor, ripping hair and clothing off each other and Sebastian as they fought like angry dogs, but sounded more like shrieking parrots as they cursed each other out. It was questionable whether they were more angry or more horny.

The whole great hall was full of screaming and cries of pain. Blood was shed, spells were cast, and the air filled with the smell of iron, burnt flesh, vomit, salty tears, and her acidic smoke. No one would escape in one piece, no one would escape at all. Break her heart, lose your head.

She danced by herself in the middle of the room, the green smoke emanating from the dying, wrapping around her as she twirled with an evil smile twitching her lips, fiery skulls in her eyes. The crown they made her of gardenias sat on her head, slowly turning black, as her tears stung her cheeks.

Why was she crying? We’ll never know, it could have been guilt, relief, or some sick mix of them both.

I just know that no one dared upset her ever again, because everyone knows Adelia, the Killer Queen’s name. Everyone knows her castle used to be Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and everyone knows the story of its tragic end and all but one of the students.

Everyone knows that if you break her heart you’ll meet your end.

But does she have a heart left?

Changbin loves coming home to you after a long day, resting his head in your lap, and relaxing. He loves it when you run your hand through his hair, soothingly massaging his scalp as you tell him about your day. He doesn't stop planting tiny kisses on your other hand and your thighs, getting sleepier with every passing second he spends in your comforting presence.

Speaking of headscratches, he loves when your nails are a little longer or you get them done professionally because he loves the way they scratch his scalp just perfectly. Especially on nights when he has a hard time falling asleep.

Whenever you're not feeling well, whether at home or in public, his hand naturally finds your back. He rubs soothing circles on your lower back or all the way up and down, assuring you he's there.

Changbin always has an extra bottle of water with him, not wanting his beloved partner to dehydrate. He always makes sure to have one with him, reminding you as often as he can to "just take a little sip" and then relax for another ten minutes. Especially in the summer when you're out having fun with him, you're very glad about this sometimes annoying habit.

A, for you, rather amusing habit of his is helping you put on your socks and shoes. You have no idea why, but this man is on his knees faster than you can comprehend and makes sure you're all comfortable in your socks. Then he puts on your shoes for you, and if needed, he ties your shoelaces tightly enough for them to stay that way the whole day. He can get really sulky if you "forget" to tell him and won't let him help you.

If you're the type for candles, he has your back. No matter the occasion or time of the year, this man can find you fitting candles: lavender for when you're stressed, sweet pumpkin-themed ones for Halloween, red roses for Valentine's Day, or cinnamon and orange during Christmas time. He never fails to amaze you, and by now, you have an amazing, unique candle collection, keeping one of each flavor to remember forever.

Another one that has started quite early in your relationship is matching with him. It started with matching your outfits by color before adding matching sweaters. For your first anniversary, he got you matching keychains, and soon after, you had matching phone cases. Several ones, in fact, so you could change them as often as you'd like, and he always makes sure to change his own accordingly.

Changbin won't let you carry your own stuff for once. He's always hovering, holding your bag for you, grabbing your drinks and snacks, and if you'd let him, he'd hold your phone right under your nose the whole day as well. In his eyes, you shouldn't have to carry anything since you have a "pretty strong boyfriend who can take care of you." Yes, your coffee will still fit into his hand next to your shopping bags, handbag, wallet, keys, and donuts.

He loves acting silly with you, especially when it's only the two of you. Whenever you put on your playlist with girl group songs, he'll go crazy with you, outdancing you with ease. It's frustrating, really. You have no chance against those hips and goofy smile.

He craves your attention every second of the day. Binnie wants to wake up next to your sleeping face, to hold you as you sleep, and to the feeling of your heartbeat against his chest. Your heartbeat is his favorite sound, right after your laugh. Whenever he can, he places his head on your chest to listen to it beating and smirks at it, picking up pace when he calls you by one of his ridiculous pet names.

Speaking of ridiculous nicknames, Binnie is definitely the type for it. He calls you by the longest and weirdest-sounding pet names you only see in memes. Getting a laugh from you in return feels like another win for him. He'd do everything to make sure you're happy.

He is your number one fan, and he will never deny it. If you ever doubt yourself and he notices the slightest sign of it, he's there. Hyping you up and comforting you in everything you do. That also means he'll do everything to make you comfortable. He'll pick up your favorite food no matter the time, hold you close, or just let you cry on his shoulder for a bit.

He loves your body in every single way. If you ever have trouble accepting your body and don't tell him, he'll be pouty all day because he wants to help. If you want to change something out of comfort and not self-hatred, he's there every step of the way. He'll hype you for your new hairstyle or color, he'll help you pick out new outfits, and oh, he'll be the happiest man alive if you ever join him at the gym.

He carries you for fun. If he wants you to join him at the gym, cook dinner with you or watch a movie he'll pick you up and throw you over his shoulder carrying you there. Especially when you playfully protested against doing whatever he had in mind. You love him so much for this quirky habit.

ah, okay. so sangwoo didn't leave gihun on purpose *lowers my gun* *hides the knife in my bag* still, pretty low of him to not understand gihun's emotions and being more patient with him. like i'm sorry sangwoo, did you carry that baby for 9 months? did you expect gihun to be more like you when he is feels his emotions strongly, double so when it comes to children? that's wack 😐 rest in pieces, i guess

yes! i'm thinking maybe it's gihun's motherly instincts screaming at him that the tall golden retriever of a person standing with jungbae is indeed his son. it's in his heart, you know? or maybe the discussions of birth dates comes up. everyone tells theirs, daeho thinks it's very cool that gihun's birthday is on halloween (october 31st!). then gihun asks about when daeho was born.

and it clicks. gihun will never forget the day he got to hold his baby for a couple of minutes before the nurses had to take it away from him. reluctantly, teary eyed, he knew he had to do it but it was extremely difficult to give up his son. gihun looks closer, there is a birth mark on the left side of daeho's neck. that's... exact same mark... his child had... gihun's memories aren't the best, but when it comes to his firstborn he remembers a lot.

it takes every bit of gihun's being not to burst into tears then and there, in front of everybody. the implication of finding his child again, in the most unfortunate situations where both are in a death game is making his head spin. he has to push down his feelings and focus on stopping the games but...

daeho reaches out and asks if gihun is okay. genuine concern and worry in his big kind eyes. ah, that is his child.

what gihun doesn't know is that daeho throughout the years has been searching for his biological mother, with no luck. some said his mother died, others said maybe his mother didn't want anything to do with him. the truth is that malsoon didn't want this to be registered so gihun's life could be easier, especially when he was still so young.

oh imagine when gihun and daeho finally tell each other the truth... and now both are joined at the hip 🥺 daeho refuses to sleep alone, only with his head on gihun's chest, tightly hugging him. they have to survive this together. geumja and youngsik is very moved by this btw...

oh also can't forget the inhun side of this - inho would closely listen to all of daeho and gihun's conversations and think to himself he needs to accomodate another room in the condo he bought in gangnam for his queen gihun. that room is for his prince, the little tiger. it's all coming together now...

gihun finally holding his son in his arms again. for years he had wondered how his baby had grown up - was he safe? healthy? were his parents good people? were the caring? would they sooth him back to sleep if he had a nightmare? would they hug him when he was sad? would they cheer as loud as they could for him? would they love him as much as gihun does?

he'd be so sad to hear how daeho's dad shipped him off to the marines so he could be a man. i even think he'd resent his mom a bit; she had basically forced him to give up his baby, had told him it was for the best, and now he hears his son was raised by a terrible man. (i think he didn't have much choice when it came to the adoptive parents. he and sangwoo were essentially children so their moms ended up picking the couple who would take care of their grandson.)

and geumja and yongsik 😭 she would be such a rock for gihun in this situation. it's so difficult for her to be here with her son, she can't imagine having had to give him up and only finding him again in the games...

daeho for sure sleeps attached to gihun, arms around him. he just got his mom back and he isn't letting him go again. jungbae thinks they are the cutest thing ever.

oh maybe daeho's sisters helped him search for his birth mom! and now daeho can introduce them to gihun, and even his adoptive mom!

but can you imagine daeho asking about his birth dad and gihun having to tell him that he is dead? i think he'd tell daeho everything abotu sangwoo and inho would be seething in the corner, wondering why he never crossed paths with a teenaged gihun so he could be the one to get him pregnant and not fucking cho sangwoo.

basically, old coca colla is mileven, new coke is byler. it contains some of the old ingredients(mike), and new ones too(will). not everyone likes(bc its gay ship). and when you look at scenes with can of new coke, it’s many times symbolizing byler vs. milkvan

one of my favorite new coke theory examples is this: in s3, after el gets attacked by the flesh monster, she tries to crash a can(but she doesn’t have her powers, so she can’t). this is a can of new coke(byler) and she can’t crush that/destroy it. and in this scene, we get a flashback to the lab, where she crushes aka destroys regular coke(mileven)

Meta Aware Meeple Discussion

So recently I saw a comment on a post on here (credit to user illumanart for this btw) that reminded of a thought I’ve actually had for since Meeple’s in game release and I got to hear their voice lines. That I’ve surprisingly don’t think have acknowledged on here till now.

Ok see the comment was on a post on Meeple fanart where they bring up Meeple’s association to reddit. The first one the obvious acknowledgment of the “my subreddit would love this” voice line in game. Yet another thing it made me realize was well Meeple was technically acknowledged as canon before they even was revealed or announced.

That Halloween mini arg thing. Meeple’s reddit account is like the only poster in that r/donttap subreddit. The account literally their name.

Now on its own this is cool but this now combined with how Meeple actually talks in game gives me the impression of something else. Does that mean Meeple is like self aware of our existence? Aka is Meeple aware of the fourth wall and the fact they might not actually be real?

Their voice lines acknowledge things they only know if they knew they in a brawler style online multiplayer game. Like one that is Meeple complaining they were killed by a “bot”, a brawler being broken or them acknowledging “the meta” which in that context would mean like the competitive meta.

And in the comments they made in r/donttap they clearly talking directly to the reader. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get to that subreddit so Meeple being the only one there posting so interesting. I’m not an active Redditor but I’m pretty sure this is the case if a specific subreddit is private.

At least to me this is heavily implying Meeple specifically knows we like, exist. Outside the game. That Meeple knows they are indeed a videogame character. Which is really cool to me cus it caused me to speculate a bunch of things about this character and how they might feel about this. Now based on what I have to work with I’m gonna assume Meeple is actually not too bothered being a fictional character. Despite how that fact probably freak out most ppl Meeple just seems so content with this. Unlike someone like 8 Bit who definitely came off way more bothered by his situation.

Now this also left me with another thought tho and that is while I don’t think Meeple minds the being a fictional character thing at all given how much a part of their personality is tied to a social media site that Meeple might also be aware of the wider fandom. Like compare even more so to any of the more aware characters in the park. It kind of made me think that Meeple was aware of how the community reacted to them when they were initially revealed in that one brawl talk.

I did low key theorize with a friend the copious amount of redesigns trying to fix Meeple’s character design were seen by Meeple through reddit and it slowly started giving them body dysphoria. You know given I’m also trans and have body dysphoria sometimes I know for certain if I was in this dude’s shoes that definitely would have made me think the same way. That one I wouldn’t take as an attack on any of those artists btw just me like having thoughts from Meeple’s perspective.

Tho yeah it kind of funny to wonder if Meeple uses like other social media and just lurking around reading posts about themselves cus they too self absorbed. I wonder if they’ve seen all the ship art ppl made involving them or the Meeple thirst and had opinions on that lol

One time you guys somehow ended up being the bartender and serving the actual bartender

You and Tom could legit go on for hours with each other doing god knows what

Your band and Tokio Hotel are actually pretty good friends

You guys got drunk and went down skinny dipping in a lake and almost drowned

Bill was once dressed as a princess

On Halloween one time you guys pretended a member of your band was seven and used her for candy

You guys constantly raid gas stations and supermarkets

You guys had to run because Georg pushed you and Tom, who were sitting in a cart, into a display case

There are videos that surfaced of you pretending to be Tom, Tom was somehow dressed as you, Bill and your band member were holding each other on a couch and murmuring some sorta language before making out, Gustav was being held up by your friends and screaming "Jesus is me!" While your friends bowed to him and Georg was blasting music on his bass

Saying how drunk you were was an understatement

You guys went to the depths of hell

So many things you guys CANNOT bring up again out of fear of going to jail

Interviewers bring how you guys act up so much you guys start blaming each other

Gustav and your guitarist were clinging to each other and when they tried to run bumped into each other

Bill tried to be hero and help your friend he has a crush on but ended up screaming and jumping into her arms

You and Tom somehow got lost and we're trying to sacrifice each other to a clown

Somehow you all ended up back together and huddled all in a corner while screaming

Of course, Tom tripped again and you guys had to run back and carry him away as a man with a knife chased y'all

You guys once tried an escape room but it ended up in you guys screaming at each other

The operator kept coming on and saying not to break shit and going "that's not a clue!" Because you guys were so helpless

You guys try and cook dinner but somehow make it even worse than before

You guys on the tour bus have a game of when the bus moves, stand up and who lasts the longest wins

It was pretty fun until the bus took a turn and you were practically thrown into the door

Turns out, nobody locked it!

The door busted open and you barely grabbed onto the door frame as everyone was yelling for the bus driver to stop and Bills fighting for his life to get you back on

Tom is screaming on roller coasters and clinging to your arm while screaming in horror

When getting jump scared do not expect him to play hero

He'll forget About you and haul ass, looking back and seeing you

He tried going back for you but couldn't
