I stare from behind the corner of the courtyard where Sirius- my older brother, complains to his friends about me. Tears spring to my eyes but I don’t let them fall as I run back to the Slytherin common room. Sirius doesn’t know, he doesn’t understand what the parents do to me, what people do to me behind closed doors: and he never will. He can’t, I have to protect him from that and if it means he hates me then so be it.

The next morning I walk to the great hall with my bags packed for winter break- Regulus is staying with some friends of his and Sirius is staying with the Potters- he’s been living with them for the past six months now and seems happier than ever and I’m so glad. No matter how upset mum and dad were with the decision, I’m both terrified and glad the boys will both be gone; terrified because it means there’s so much touching and beating that will come but glad they won’t have any chance of catching anything.

(Same day, Sirius pov)

I can’t help but complain to the boys about my sister, she is my parents golden child, always has been and probably always will be. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had a dark mark under that stupid slytherin sleeve.

Suddenly, Regulus pops up behind me, “Sirius!”

“What?” He looks angry and that’s when I realize, “oh my godrick, tell me you aren’t trying to defend that brat!”

“You really are unbelievable brother, have you not noticed-“ a sigh as he looks down, “Sirius she’s dead, she’s not the sister she used to be, she has no life behind her eyes, no mischief that once was there- remember? Remember all the pranks you played? The spark in her eye? It’s gone, something is going on. Something she won’t let us know about.”

I take a moment and think…oh my godrick gryffindor, Reggie is right, something is going on. I look up to see the other nodding along as pieces click in our brains, “They don’t expect either of us at home, we could sneak in to figure out what’s going on?”

“That’s a good idea, I’ll be to the potters residents in two days time.” We make more plans and then split for now, waiting anxiously to carry out the plan.

Me, James, Remus, and Regulus hide behind a wall in the invisibility cloak and that’s when I see my sister walk into the living room, her head down and her hair pulled into a high pony, her skinny body-skinnier than I ever remember- covered in bruises and scars only in some flimsy, black lace lingerie. What.the.fuck. Is happening? Me and regulus meet each others gazes, both confused, heated with anger, and sadness.

My sister sits on the couch defeated and only seconds later I see five good friends of fathers- all in their late 40’s to 50’s walk into the room. All in simple boxers and or pants- none with shirts. That’s when I realize what’s going on, rage takes over my body and I almost jump out into the living room but am quickly grabbed by my brother.

He shakes his head no, he too looks absolutely enraged but we have to wait a little bit longer.

The men walk into the room and I simply stare into the distance as they advance.

I’m slapped around a few times, they man handle me till I’m crying and bleeding, raping me more times then I care to count. Drool, tears,sweat, and blood dripping down my face by the time they are done, I’m completely numb. Mum and dad walk in the room asking the men how it was and completely ignoring me.

“Absolutely horrible, she was quiet as a mouse and had no fight in here, she laid there like nothing.”

“Oh really?” Mom’s gaze snaps to me, I can’t bring myself to lift my heavy head from where it lays but I know what’s coming.

Her wand flicks and I’m strung up by my arms, I’m whipped 55 times till I’m shaking with cuts digging deep in my flesh. Finally, the part I’ve been dreading the most- my mom’s wand raises above her head, “Crucio!” Pain overwhelms me and I thrash in my restraints, piss joining the bodily fluids already leaking from my body.

After I can’t tell how long I’m near passing out and I hear crashes and bangs, distant voices and foot steps, I hear curses thrown and defenses drawn. My eyes are nearly closed but I hear someone skid over to me, cutting me from my restraints and carefully lowering me into their lap.

I look up from where my head lays on the persons legs as they brush hair out of my face, swiping away tears and blood, drool and who else knows what with their sleeve. As they stroke my sticky cheek I see who it is…

“Sirius?” My voice cracks, horse and weak.

“I’ve got you sis, just shh, and stay awake okay? I’ve got you now, we’re gonna save you.” My big brother carefully picks me up, carrying me from the mansion as people follow after, the potters waiting out in the front frantically.

“Boys, what’s happened? What-oh dear Godrick. Hurry, we’ll get her to Saint Mungoes. (I think that’s the name?)” Mrs Potter moves forward quickly at the sight of my broken body.

“Boys.” Mr potters voice is stern as he addresses the teenage boys in question, “tell me exactly what’s happened.”

I wake up on a couch, a thin blanket covering my shivering body. I panic for a moment, just before Mrs.Potter rounds a corner with a bowl of water and a rag. “Oh Yn! You’re finally awake dear!”

“I’m-I’m sorry- what’s going on?”

A look of grief and sadness washed over her as she replies, “oh love- you were injured- bad, luckily the boys found you and saved you, we brought you to St.Mungos but after a week they said to bring you back home and let you keep healing. You’ve been out a totally of 10 days love.”

“Oh- oh yeah. Ok. Wait you said the boys saved me?”

“Well yes, Your brothers, James, and Remus.” She dabs water on some healing cuts.

“Oh- where- where are they?”

“Hm, good question, one moment.” She turns to the stairs, “BOYS!”

After a few moments I hear four sets of foot steps stomping down the stairs, trampling over each other- “Yn!” Regulus flings into my arms, I wince but ignore my soreness.

“Hey little bro.” I smile and ruffle his hair as he moves.

“It’s good to see you awake Yn.”

“Thank you Remus- thanks to all of you.”

“Of course!” I look to James and give a small, grateful smile.

“Uh- y-Yn?”

“Hey big bro. Thank you. So much.”

Tears well in Sirius’ eyes? I’d never seen it before, “I’m so sorry.” He crumbles into my open arms as he sobs. I know why he’s apologizing and it’s not his fault. Tears of my own collect in my eyes as I hold him, patting his hair softly.

“It’s ok. It’s ok. I forgive you.”

“I’m so sorry- I didn’t- I didn’t know and I- oh I’ve been terrible.”

“Sirius, Sirius look at me.” I pull his head up, smoothing his hair and rubbing his cheeks, “it’s ok. I promise it’s all ok. I don’t blame you, I never have and I never will ok. You saved me- you saved me Sirius- thank you.”

He nods weakly as we hug again before he stands up, clearing his throat.

Mihawk doesn't exactly have the patience of a saint, but he still honestly has more patience than most—you don't dedicate your life to becoming the world's greatest swordsman and actually achieve that goal without at least a touch of patience.

Your mood swings amuse him more than anything. Not a cruel sort of amusement, but a more endearing one. You remind him a bit of a cat—sweet and playful one minute, then all claws and bared teeth the next.

Though as amusing as it can be, he sees how it drains you, mentally and physically, and that more than anything is reason enough for him to stay patient with you in the moment.

He'll keep a level tone, just tells you to calm down, even while you're yelling at the top of your lungs that you are calm, yelling insults and potentially hurtful words.

He can't help but smirk a little at how quickly you fly off the handle, which probably doesn't help your own anger, but he really can help but find it a little entertaining, even a little enticing.

Oh, he wants to shove you against a wall, pin your hands over your head and murmur in your ear for you to behave yourself, to just devour you then and there—but he knows that now isn't the time. That can come later, after you've calmed down.

So he just keeps up a calm and reasonable air about himself and lets you vent out whatever frustrations you need to, taking it with a grain of salt because he knows that it won't last.

Just gives a little sigh once you have calmed down, once you've apologized for whatever you have said or done in your anger.

Tells you it's fine, pulls your head down to rest on his lap while he combs his fingers through your hair until your tension has eased off the rest of the way, not faulting you for your moment of vulnerability. Might tauntingly mention that he *should* punish you for being so troublesome, but he's honestly more focused on ensuring you recover.

He really has more trouble dealing with your depressive episodes—he can't stand the thought of you being so low that you can't even pull yourself out of bed.

Mihawk understands that patience is absolutely vital in such cases, but he's not sure whether it's better to give you space or keep you company; to try to convince you to talk, to just hold you quietly, or to leave you to your own devices until you recover on your own.

So in those instances, he's a bit all over the place, and more than a bit frustrated. More likely to be short or snappish in spite of himself. He desires complete control over all aspects of his life, and being at a loss of what to do drives him up a wall, especially if it concerns your well-being and his ability (or inability) to fix it.

He's not going to put you in your place for anything until he's sure you've leveled out, that it won't trigger you or make things worse.

Not until you're able to calmly discuss what's been going on with you, until you're able to laugh and smile and breathe easy in the wake of your own turbulent emotions.

He might punish you relentlessly for being intentionally bratty, for being a sarcastic little shit and clearly doing it to test his patience for the fun of it. In that case, he might pin you to the bed, might tease you to the very edge of sanity, might make you beg and plead for relief or release, but only then.

You're still his lover, and he doesn't have any intention of hurting you in any way that could be lasting, in any way that isn’t consensual—in any way that could make your inner turmoil any more difficult to bear.

Last Character To Write Of All 3...💪🪨

Hi Tumblr Peeps😁I will be writing about the final character who was in the poll (excluding head cannon of all 3)😃👍For those who didn't know I worked on the poll with a few choices between, Eijiro Kirishima (Red Riot), Shidou Ryusei, Yoruichi Shihoin, head cannon and a "surprise me see results", so after both the Shidou fanfic and the Yoruichi fanfic were completed (which the Shidou fanfic didn't pan-out, as well as the other fanfics involving him (so far), then so far with Yoruichi Shihoin fanfic I worked on, I rushed and didn't go well at all, unlike most of the fanfics I've written did and no matter how that happened with both of the previous fanfics of the both of them,I do take full responsibility...), hopefully I do well with this fanfic with Eijiro Kirishima (aka Red Riot)... As for what will happen with the head cannon(?) of the 3 for those who didn't read the Shidou Ryusei fanfic and/or the Yoruichi Shihoin fanfic, despite of Kirishima having no votes (I think it's because I forgot to label him as adult and/or mention every in this poll will be written as adults) he could be 1st, before head cannon of the 3 for those looking forward to head cannon(?), however I do promise with the aleast 3 character head cannon(?) pertaining all 3 (atleast), there will a fanfic like this... In the meantime, time to write about Kirishima, as this will be exclusive to any gender reader (meaning it's for reader's of all genders)... Over five years later after you celebrated your fifth anniversary with Kirishima, tension between the both of you grew. Everytime you go to talk to him, he has been refusing to vent and there were times when he said, "I rather not talk about it right now..." or mention that, "You wouldn't want to be with me anymore, if I told you..." or sobbed, "I'm sorry... I'm not the man you once knew..." or he would usually and unexpectedly snap at you. You just weren't sure how you could help him, even tough you refuse to give up trying to figure out on helping him get whatever is bothering him in his chest, off his shoulders...

One day while on you're doing hero duty with Kirishima, there was a villain who was trying to ambush the both of you and the way the vilian taunted him, you've begun to have suspicion of (villain name up to the reader's imagination) could have something to do with, Kirishima's unusual anger and frustration for days to the point of shutting himself away with you. "Oh, I see what's going on? You brought a little friend to help fight your battles this time, Red Riot?! No matter... It still doesn't change the fact that you won't succeed, as a pro hero, like you used to!", (villain name up to the reader's imagination) mocked, as if the vilian has battled Kirishima before. Kirishima then got aggravated, as he then, shouted, "Shut up! I didn't bring (him/her/them) with me by choice! And I will show you I'm not going to be defeated by you, this time, (villain name up to the reader's imagination)!".

You were frightened, while trying to keep your composure, enough to not show fear, as (villain name up to the reader's imagination) looked at you, before ((s)he/they) laughed, "It doesn't matter, if it's by anyone's choice! Since your friend is here, I might as well mention about how I know how much of a failure you really are! Your friend wouldn't even want to be around you after I tell (him/her/them) how you're no longer successful at being a pro hero and maybe I'll finally convince you to give up!". You then asked Kirishima, "What's (villain name up to the reader's imagination) talking about?", before Kirishima got, extremely angry to the point he would have his head looking down at the ground, trying to not take his frustrations (particularly out on you) or trying to hold unusual tears of anger back. (Villain name up to the reader's imagination) then put (his/her/their) attention on you, as the villain mocked Kirishima about everything that happened between him and the villain during every encounter about how Kirishima, never succeeded in capturing (villain name up to the reader's imagination) no matter how hard he tried, no matter the strategies he's come up with, and not even his best efforts were enough to defeat (him/her/them).

The more (villain name up to the reader's imagination) mocked Kirishima for his efforts and how ((s)he/they) became the reason why his self-worth and self-esteem are low, while Kirishima's became unusuallly filled with anger, the more frustrated he got, as the villain mockingly continues, "Oh, btw... Red Riot, doesn't seem to have this chivalrous heart anymore for how much of a coward he is! Just look at how mad, I've gotten him! I've even destroyed his so called, "Chivalrous Spirit"! I would stay away from that failure if I were you!". You then replied, "So, you're the reason why he refuses to talk to anyone, as of late, huh?! You're maybe clever and cunning, however you're far from perfect! No matter what you say about Red Riot and no matter how fucken, true it is! You're the damn, coward! Not him! If you're the reason why he's at his lowest and you continue to mock him, then you're the one people should stay away from! I don't give a damn, if you're a villain or not! You don't know him, like I know him!". When Kirishima heard what you said to (him/her/them), he calmed down and raised his head up with tears in his eyes, while shocked about the fact you stuck up for him, despite of every reason the villain could give you to shun him. You just refused to give up on him, no matter what his mistakes are.

(Villain name up to the reader's imagination), wasn't thrilled about your response to (him/her/them), so ((s)he/they) quickly, came up with a different tactic, as ((s)he/they) remarked, "So... You're not seeing the picture, I see! You won't think, so when Red Riot doesn't do the same for you, when I use my abilities on you, then we'll see if you know him, like I know him!", as ((s)he/they) went to sneak attack you with an ability, you haven't seen coming, til ((s)he/they) got finished with (his/her/their) distraction. However, to (villain name up to the reader's imagination)'s shock, before ((s)he/they) was able to hit you with an attack that "never misses", Kirishima used, "Unbreakable" for his hardening ability, inorder to use himself, as a shield to save you (just in time), from possible death, then used his "Red Gauntlet", to defeat (him/her/them) in less than twenty seconds. Once his "Unbreakable" wears off, he knew the battle has been already won, as ((s)he/they) was finally captured.

After both you and Kirishima got home from defeating the villain, all he could do was apologize, as if he couldn't apologize enough and felt that owes you alot, despite of your constant reassurance that he owes you nothing, as you felt there was nothing to forgive and he saved your life. He then pleaded, "But, I should have realized that you're going to stick by me, no matter my flaws nor my failures in my earlier encounters! I shouldn't have tooken things out on you! If you didn't say what you did about me with all of your heart and soul, I wouldn't have noticed (him/her/them) trying to harm you, in time and I would have been in rage... I letted my anger, frustration, aggravation, and lack of self-worth blind me and my judgment... Because of you, my chivalrous heart is fixed and I began to realize that my chivalrous spirit is still within me all along... Please have me make it up to you, after everything I put you through, while staying patient with me without prying, too much...". You then replied, "No need, Kirishima! I understand why stuff's been bothering you and you weren't hurting me nor calling me names out of anger, since you've prevented yourself from doing so, in the first place... Besides nothing is going to get me to change my mind about you, babe... All I ask is for you to come to me, next time... We will fix things, step by step, considering that I get things are tough, so if you need emotional support, it's okay to talk it out with me, even if it's asking for help... I still will love you, no matter how you end up feeling, especially angry and frustrated, sweetie...", before kissing him on on of the sides of his, now blushing, facial cheeks, then winking at him, before you continue, "Here! Let me cook you something to eat, hun...".

Later that night, both of you decided take turns giving eachother massages, especially in areas that needed massages the most, then snuggled together in the most comforting way possible. During your snuggle session with Kirishima, both you and Kirishima watched the stars through the bedroom window, inside the bedroom the both of you share together, until the both of you fell asleep. What do you know... it's the middle of the night, and I'm alone and triggered... AGAIN! Fed up of this cycle of not coping when triggered and alone. Need to vent.

My abuser used to shut me in this built-in cupboard when he was fed up with me... Regularly, and often for over 24hrs at a time, I would be left in there restrained and threatened with harm (or worse) if I made a sound. No trousers. Towel on the floor. Water in a lemonade bottle. Sometimes bread if it was a really long time.

Its obviously hard to quantify these things but this recurrent situation that started when I was so very small was one of the most damaging things to happen to me, if only because I am reminded of it every single time I am left alone.

When I'm on my own and see something upsetting/triggering, I am suddenly back to feeling like that vulnerable child again. I can see my surroundings, and there are no auditory changes... but emotionally, I am trapped and no one is ever coming to save me. Even when I know logically that I am not in danger and am free to come and go as I please.

I have no idea how to control this feeling. And I feel embarrassed to be so dependent on other people as a grown-ass adult who should be able to handle his own shit really... my current coping strategies involve loud music, vaping, and journalling. Generally, all at the same time. This time I'm getting it out of my head onto tumblr not a notebook, but this'll work too.

I have to find a way to manage this better, because I have to learn to be on my own for longer than a few hours at a time... but I'm at a loss. Any tips welcome 🙏
