This one is called “From Here”. I heard questions about where I was from a lot after coming back to the city I grew in. Ten years away kind of reset an individual’s standing with a small town’s record and, and in a way somewhat alike what is depicted in “It’s Not All”, the alienated individual gets the chance or the bother of covering themselves with a mask of normality and/or familiarity.

Pencils on A4, 200gms Canson paper. This one is going to be available as a print soon. Check my instagram for daily art and updates!

From an exposition earlier this year, this is “It’s Not All”. It was a sort of Get-To-Know-Local-Artists event, and everyone had different lines of work. My pieces focused on the pains of social interactions and what it takes to live between humans. This one touches on the relation between how an individual feels inside versus the image projected towards others, something often required for acceptance on a community, and is based on my recent experiences and insights on the realm of mental health.  

Pencils on A4, 200gms Canson Paper. I have another two pieces from this event to post, and i’ll be working to put them online as A4 and A3 prints. I’m working on my online storefront right now, so stay tuned for more info!
