So the Polycule Soulmate thing:

Inko is looking for her long lost brother. He was given up when she was a teenager because they didn't like his Quirk. She is hunting for him.

Inko is a supportive mom who has been taking martial arts to teach her son since they won’t take Quirkless kids at the center near their house.

I'm thinking I'll have Inko be a soulmate of a hero.

Any thoughts? Mind this is a ‘I also have multiple other projects’ thing so its background but hey: lets have fun.

Just for fun I mapped the strawhats onto Brian David Gilbert's "Mortal Comfort" Ideal Cuddler Chart. I don't think i have them 100% right but i wanted to start the Discussion yk?

Here is my reasoning (sorta-ranked from most to least ideal according to BDG's criteria, though your personal preference may differ (as does mine)) :

MOST IDEAL STRAWHAT CUDDLER AWARD goes to Jinbe! He is big and soft and kind. I think he would be very good at it. He would take initiative to rub your back and have pleasant conversation, but he let you fall asleep if you wanted to.

Nami: Not a super adventurous cuddler, nor does she do it often. She WILL pickpocket you, so be ready for that. She's probably the closest to normal you're going to get.

Usopp: He needs to fidget with his hands and is happy to comb your hair or rub your back or massage your shoulders, but he's going to talk your ear off whether you like it or not, and he'll whine if you try to leave. Extremely clingy and needy in a cuddle, and his pockets are full of little gadgets and tools that are not super comfortable to lay against.

Luffy: Very enthusiastic but he will not sit still long enough, man is constantly adjusting or twitching. He's prone to squeeze too tight with the wrap-around rubber hugs, and if you aren't paying close attention he WILL put bugs and beetles on you. He's also the type to think it's funny to wipe boogers on you, or put his cold hands up your shirt. If your arm or leg fall asleep he's not gonna move for you, he's gonna think it's funny.

Chopper: He hasn't had enough practice yet, he mostly just wants to be held. Very enthusiastic though. Constantly making sure you're comfortable, to the point where it's distracting/a little annoying.

Brook: Bones are not extremely comfortable, but he is able to summon a cool/chilling wind so the temperature control will be ideal, and he's very polite and gentlemanly when he's not trying to see your underwear. As long as you stack some pillows around him to actually lean against, you're golden.

Robin: She will be up to some freak shit with her devil fruit I know it. Being cuddled by a dozen hands may sound very nice but she will turn them against you, either to tickle you right when you're falling asleep or grab your ankle and let you think it was a monster under the bed. She WILL be up to mischief.

Sanji: Also constantly making sure you're comfortable, much more than necessary, and will dote on you WAY too much while you're trying to sleep. He'll keep getting up to grab water or a snack or another blanket or something and won't just settle into the cuddle unless you make him. Also he is likely to either catch on fire or start violently bleeding from his nose depending on the circumstances.

Zoro: Very open to the idea of cuddling but not an active participant; he just falls asleep. He is essentially a very hard body pillow. (If he WAS actively participating he may match where Robin or Luffy is instead.)

Franky: Not a single part of his body is comfortable or free of hidden guns, but he will damn sure try his best!! He will also try and hold conversation and compliment you, but much too loudly. The enthusiasm is there, but...man he's struggling everywhere else.

Unmask Athena / Maya

As we all know, Athena/maya is a character in the Muppetverse created by Strange Aeons. But today I will unmask everything that happened in her Stroy so far, how it relates to the Strange Canon, and I will predict the future of her blog. I will however not discuss the "miracles" or her "channelling".

Now I want to talk about the MCR return tour which Father Strange made a Video about (THIS go and watch it, it’s great). Now this tour looks the be the main reference for the Maya persona.

The Tour Starts with Gerad way talking about, RATS, and his cat that came to them during the Pandamy, now who do we know to also identify/be portrait as a cat? Milton. What else this tour about... Rats, decay, bugs, this all sounds like the rot. As I already proved the name Athena also comes from this tour, Portland, October 2nd 2022 the drum says ATHENA. Portland as in C from Portland Polycule from hell which heavenly inspired the Athena Character.

Her new profile picture? It’s also a reference to MCR, her profile picture being that of the virgin Mary, the lady of sorrows, which also a title of an MCR song, also something that father strange talked about in that video she changed her name to maya. Thats name of the main character of ghost of you the story raven and tara wrote together you know, the author and editor of My immortal.

And now she apparently is a tradwife and found Jesus? And uses tags like, #biblical femininity #traditional femininity #tradwife #biblical womanhood. And we all know that father Strange has talked much about the tradwife/biblical community... girl defined... Abby classic... you know... Abby classic/Strange Aeons the eternal love story... Tim Hortons isn’t a cute coffee shop, be realistic.

So yeah, we jumped from Father Stranges Emo zone to the tradwife bible zone... but also still MCR and my immortal related...

My predictions for the Blog:

This entire phase right now is her referencing the hacking chapter of my immortal.

It’s a reference to HER (you know the office woman) from the MCR return tour.

Something will happen on 9/11 because of Gerad ways obsessions with it.

know of any shows with positive poly representation? everything I've seen either kills a part of the polycule, or they break up and the two with the most chemistry end up together in the end

i dont watch a lot of shows, but here's what i learned from running this:

the main one that has been recommended here by other followers is Leverage, the polycule even won the first showdown! from my understanding, in the original show they werent able to make it explicitly canon but the writers confirmed it's a polycule, and people mentioned a newer version but i know less about that.

the polycule from The Expanse just got second place in the canon showdown! so thats another one

I was told Siren is good but to not watch season 2 iirc cause thats where they do exactly what u dont wanna see (end the polycule in favor of a couple) but alot of Leverage fans recommended that one as well

Sens8 has one canon polycule and one trio that can also be interpreted as one, but arent confirmed canon. The canon polycule had to be rushed because netflix cancelled the show, but i hear its still v good!

If you count podcasts as shows, Penumbra Podcast Second Citadel has also been highly recommended and ive heard amazing things about the polycule in that one!

And idk if you only mean live action but if you include cartoons, there's Amphibia! How canon it is has been oftenly debated in my notes so i cant advocate much but a lot of ppl seem to feel like the show heavily supports that as a possible direction for the relationship of the protagonists?

those are the ones i can remember right now, im sure if you keep an eye on the notes to this ask there will probably be other recommendations! i also have the tag #polyam rep (which ill add to this ask since tumblr's search function likes to act up) with lots of recommendations by many different people, not all of them are tv shows, i think most are books? but still worth it to check it out imo

the only media with canon polycules i personally consumed have been two webcomics (Charity Case and Shootaround), one book (Iron Widow), and a game (Hades), also a spanish movie i watched before i knew what a polycule was and idk its name :( so yeah unfortunately i dont have too many personal recs, and none for shows, but i hope you find smth in the replies or in the polyam rep tag!
