This isn't the show about sisters. This is the show about Zaun and Piltover.

I think it's important to look back at the way season 1 was set up. The story of Vi and Jinx was told directly beside the story of Viktor and Jaycee. Both stories are inextricably bound, you have the jayce/Viktor storyline representing Piltover and the Jinx/vi storyline representing zaun.

The sisters's story doesn't happen without Viktor and Jayce. If the explosion at Jayce's apartment doesn't happen, then the sisters never separate. Vander never dies, Silco never takes over, act 2 and 3 never happen. If Viktor and Jayce never meet, then Jinx never steals the hex gem, vi never gets released from prison, silco never dies, Jinx never fires or even makes fishbones, and season two doesn't happen.

Jayce and Viktor's story doesn't happen without the sisters. If the sisters never break into Jayce's apartment, then Jayce never meets Viktor. They never make hextech, Jinx never steals their hex gem which means jayce never becomes a councilor. Viktor never turns to shimmer, the hexcore is never made, Vi and Jayce never destroy Silco's factory, Jayce never makes the peace treaty, and season two never happens.

Season 1 arguably focused more on the sisters than it did jayce and Viktor, so it makes sense that season 2 would focus more on Viktor and Jayce than the sisters.

It's kind of a long story so I'll try to make this short, but I got my blood drawn today and I am not great with needles (to say the least). However! The wonderful phlebotomist there just so happened to be a ✨TMNT fan✨ They were also so patient with me and very attentive gaaaah I felt very seen 💙

It meant so much to me that they were open to talking about silly turtle stuff with me. And so, I know I don't normally draw the portal duo, but I wanted to draw my fav turtle and theirs to commemorate in a way. I am so grateful, and honestly, very lucky to have met a fellow TMNT fan out in the wild today hehe (:

i feel like i’m going insane, sustainability does not equal minimalism. neither does buying a bunch of overpriced shit that claims it’s “ethically sourced”. you know what’s sustainable? fixing shit around your house. thrifting. patching clothes and handing them down. a community garden. potluck dinner parties. farmer’s markets. a barter system among friends and neighbors. kindness. love among community members. capitalism is not sustainable, both in the environmental sense and the longevity sense.

like. buying from small businesses is a good place to start. as is larger businesses being as close to carbon neutral as possible. but materialism is what’s driving us as a planet into an early grave
