I thought it was a joke 😭 the jokes like gaara hating sasuke are funny but they're far from true considering in canon he cried for sasuke and tried to tell him to return. He told naruto later on that sasuke's not planning on coming back bc it was true, not bc he's jealous or some shit 💀 it was naruto who got upset at that and shoved his hand away, and also bc gaara made it clear that if in the war sasuke is on the enemy team then he won't hold back and will go for the kill. He's just another person who doesn't care about sasuke anymore which is why naruto got mad. I hate when they reduce sasuke and his relationship to naruto to that, that's hinata's job, to be naruto's personal slave, not sasuke. And if you remember this while analyzing gaara he just seems like yet another character that got reduced to a naruto dick sucker, that's all.

... kinda falls short, no? Their bond is distinct, and categorizing it as similar to Naruto's other connections, especially when most are comrades at best. Villagers conditionally acknowledge Naruto because they see him as useful until he proves otherwise, and that includes the majority of his... friends. Naruto said it himself, he doesn’t trust them (I HAVE A THEORY ABOUT THIS REGARDING 'HOPE' TBH I’LL FINISH THAT DRAFT SOON FINALLY LOL) This lack of trust is evident again during his fight with Kurama.

With Gaara, it is very uniquely a bond of their own regardless whether someone believes it is romantic or not and it doesn’t really have anything to do with Sasuke, so I’m not sure how to feel about a comparison? 

However, Naruto's connection with Gaara does share some similarities with his bond with Sasuke; hurting for Gaara’s pain because he understood it as fellow Jinchuuriki, or hurting for Sasuke’s pain and burdens but going on a journey because he wanted to understand (‘we could’ve been in each other’s shoes, Sasuke’). These bonds also relate to the system itself, which is closely interlinked. Hence, Sasuke shouting at Naruto for not understanding in VotE1. But it's not the same thing, and that's perhaps one of the most significant differences between Naruto's bonds with Sasuke and Gaara, don't you think? The contrasting pain (regarding that understanding) he felt played a crucial role in his learning process. "I felt less pain when I escaped loneliness, but Gaara was lonelier for longer and Sasuke has to live with this burden... which is unbearable, what can I do?" Collaboration only becomes possible when you can truly understand one another. The same was seen during the Shinobi War when they had to unite as a single alliance. Gaara references this several times.

That understanding transcends national borders, and it's an integral part of Naruto's Ninja Way. It's also a way to demonstrate that mutual understanding could potentially unite the Nations, but that's a different topic. What remains consistent is Naruto's anger towards the entire system when it becomes personal and disregarding what is seen as 'appropriate Shinobi behavior'. (Lmao not those anti-Naruto post claiming Naruto was fine with everything altogether 😭 ffs, delete.) 

Of course Naruto’s emotions played a huge part in him going feral. It was primarily triggered by Gaara's death, but even before that Kurama's Chakra was slipping through as he was learning about himself, Jinchuuriki and discovering new things that Konoha, and even Jiraiya, whom he trained with for years, had never shared with him. Our boy was seriously going through it, but this drive wasn’t just him showing Shonen Hero behavior to ‘stop the bad guys from gaining power’ or grieving a friends’ death at that moment even.

Naruto had every right to be furious. This is the same anger that says, 'If you Shinobi of the Leaf hadn't placed a monster in me,' and 'Did any of you even try to ask ME how I felt?!!' But, of course, Naruto repressed his anger and avoided empathizing with himself. However, this anger still simmers beneath the surface in the story. (Sakura's display of compassion for Naruto's situation after realizing he could die was a good moment tbh, I liked it even if Naruto shoved it aside. Kinda like he was saying they could never understand as Sasuke said to him, except Naruto sorta laughs it off and shows confidence instead. Anw, Sakura's best moments are in this arc, and it has nothing to do with the Sasori fight.)

But why doesn't Naruto express anger for himself?

Because, in this case, he carries a sense of guilt towards Gaara. He heard Gaara express how he desperately searched for a reason to live, feeling like a 'relic of the past that people wanted to get rid of'—unwanted and alone. This led Gaara to decide to care only for himself and kill everyone else. While Naruto could empathize with Gaara due to the shared pain stemming from similar situations, he also understood that their circumstances were entirely different at the time he met him. Naruto compared his own situation with Gaara's, stating that 'everyone' else had saved him from a dark and lonely hell, lumping the village together to contrast it with Gaara, who had no one still.

Naruto eventually said that Iruka and Sasuke were the ones who truly saved him after learning about different types of bonds and gaining a better understanding. However, the idea of being supported by so many people, (conditional or not) in contrast to Gaara, tore Naruto apart because he knows how unbearable it is to live that way. The Gaara he encountered during the exams represented Naruto's greatest fear for himself, and he began to feel guilty for having people around him, or even those who 'worship' him, as he felt it was unfair to Gaara. Despite his repressed emotions, Itachi's 'fear-inspiring Genjutsu' exposed Naruto's feelings and fears.

Naruto's efforts didn't just lead to a strong friendship; they also provided Gaara with hope. In this story, 'Hope' is perhaps the most important theme, a reason to live that is much more bearable. I wouldn't reduce all of this to Gaara merely 'worshipping' Naruto. Such analysis seems to miss the nuances of their complex bond regardless.

Naruto's sharing of joy also reflects his 'mysterious power.' He had mixed feelings about seeing Gaara advance so quickly as Kazekage but also genuinely felt happy for him. I genuinely believe that dismissing the Naruto-Gaara dynamic as mere 'worship' overlooks the significant impact Naruto had on Gaara and those around them. Which was extremely important to the story itself. I love the bond between Naruto and Gaara, but acknowledge it really isn't the same as the one with Sasuke. But considering their relationship, it's not surprising that Gaara might have a little crush on Naruto. However, it's not essential to insist on finding canonical evidence for this imo. While it's a plausible interpretation, I don't think that Gaara's feelings for Naruto are taken too seriously by most fans? Furthermore, Gaara's seeming 'pettiness' regarding Sasuke or Naruto's prioritization of him above others is not something anyone understood. The general consensus "for Naruto's sake" was that “Sasuke causes Naruto pain” (more like, Sasuke’s pain hurts Naruto because he loves him) so of course, Gaara's feelings were conflicted by his duty (getting rid of a 'criminal') and his friendship with Naruto (who will fight against such Shinobi duties because feelings are involved and they'll never be able to truly become emotionless tools-). Sasuke had attacked the summit after all, usually an immediate death sentence regardless of reason. Gaara is Naruto’s friend, it would be weird if he didn’t want to protect Naruto in return even against Sasuke, it's just that Naruto didn't see it the same way as everyone around him. THAT is frustrating!! Remember he told Naruto to really think about his friendship with Sasuke and what it meant? 👀 Like, "Naruto, you really want to do this? We are friends too, yeah? Doesn’t he cause you pain? Look at you... think about this carefully, kinda sus tbh. What’s this meaaann? I give my life for you, I will fight for you but what we do now huh?" Etc- 

In the end, Naruto is the protagonist of a Shonen story, serving as a measuring device to gauge the significance of events in the narrative. (This role is largely shared with Sasuke though). Naruto provides the reference point for understanding the story's relationships. The core message, typically related to positive change as defined by Naruto/the main character, is a fundamental aspect of these stories. What truly matters is why something is significant in the story and what it means to the characters. His bond with Gaara a huge part of it. And to a degree the others as well because that's kind of the point.... And it's not for nothing we haven't seen the same development with the villagers as a whole because it wasn't important to the story.... yet. (Should've been solved before he became Hokage though 😂 "Naruto-the-village-is-family-I-guess-cuz-former-hokage-said-so-Uzumaki." Bro.)

I would probably go more with Godson, since as far as we know she is or is around Sakumo’s age. I’ve seen a lot if art where her and the other Sannin interact with baby Kakashi and i love it.

I do think she acts very much like she is closer to Kakashi than we’re actually given information on. Like she entrusts him with a lot of missions, doesn’t seem to actually punish him for turning his back on her and going after his students (in the sasuke retrieval arc) almost as if she sort of expected it or is at least use to it (maybe she saw Sakumo choose his friends over the mission a few times, but he always finished the mission until that final one that caused his fall from grace)

She also seems to lean heavily on him for support in her role, and when it comes time for her to retire she chooses Kakashi. Now we don’t know if she chooses him because she’s informed that everyone pretty much unanimously chose him (except for the dumb elders) as her replacement, or if he was the replacement she had in mind anyways

I love the thought of her slowly getting him prepped for the job by having him do paperwork she doesn’t want to deal with. Like having him read through it and make a pile of ones he thinks she should sign and what needs to go into the trash.

Save her from having to do so much reading XD

I can also see her being the one to tell Kakashi to take it easy on himself and rest. It’s mostly his friends who tell him to do that, but hearing it from a medical nin and the Hokage cements the fact that he probably should do it

Which is good cuz Kakashi knows when to rest when he’s chakra exhausted, but i think he also pushes himself way too much and doesn’t allow himself ti properly rest until his body forces him to, and tsunade hates that

She wants her shinobi to take care of themselves, not kill themselves doing mission after mission. She’ll give him those missions of course, but if she see’s him starting to sway in place looking like he’s about to collapse she’s giving him a day or two iff

“This is very important paperwork,” she grinned as she rested her arm on the top of the pile and stared down at him. “Besides, you’re still on bed rest, brat. You’re lucky i gave into your whinning and came up with this idea or you’d still be in the hospital.”

“No buts,” she insisted. “These are papers from my office so you need to get them done quickly.”

Realizing what was happening, he sighed. “You fell so far behind you need to shove some paperwork off onto me now?”

“Fell behind? No. Willfully ignored the growing piles of paperwork i didn’t want to deal with? Yes. I had better things to do.”

“Like gambling away all of your money.”

She narrowed her eyes. “I’m sorry, i thought i was speaking to Kakashi, not Yua the judgmental.”

Crossing his arms over his chest he leaned back into the chair. “You’re the one always saying i got her personality.”

“Yes, well…” removing her arm from the pile of paperwork she pointed at it. “You also got her ability to read five times faster than me, so this is your job now. You read through all of these and decide which ones need my signature.”

“And the ones that don’t?”

“That’s what this is for,” she pointed down to the trash. “If you’re unsure or think it needs my opinion, put it in a separate pile that Shizune will bring back to me. And no,” she silenced him before he could even speak “you cannot just put all of it into that pile.”

With her part said she turned away from him and headed straight out of the tiny office she’d assigned for him to this task, leaving him with a stack of paperwork that terrified him more than any mission he’d ever been on.

“Well,” he sighed, reaching to the top of the pile and picking up the first piece of paper. “Better get started.”

You know, everyone think Kakashi is a bad sensei 'cause the show didn't show us more about the normal stuff they did (which is bullshit because they would have died in the exams if they hadn't learned anything), but then when I see the interactions between the team...

Gosh, it must have been hard to teach them anything. Naruto kept fighting with Sasuke and not listenning, Sasuke was too busy fighting with Naruto too, and Sakura only paid attention to Sasuke to care about being a good ninja.

As much as it's the teacher's responsability to teach, it is also the students responsability to pay attention and listen, something I think team 7 had a hard time doing, not because they couldn't, but because they were too busy with other 'priorities' of a twelve year old.

Like, I remember my school days, and even then I always realized what a headache was being a teacher. Now imagine this with a time-bomb team full of trauma nobody really paid attention to.

And whoever says Kakashi does a 'bad job' I wonder if they think they could truly do better taking into account the ninja's culture of ignoring trauma (which means no support for the teacher either), having no mental therapy, being sent to missions that can go to shit in a blink, with a student that an evil organization wants to capture, another one who is obsessed with vengeance and having a very difficult time handling it (plus, you know, Itachi and Orochimaru), and the last one just daydreaming of marrying one of their teammates.

Really, Kakashi had a hard time and did pretty good taking into account that team 7 probably didn't cooperate that much most of the time.

(sorry for my rant. And I'm not trying to say team 7 was awful, because they weren't, but the fandom needs to stop pretending that they weren't difficult...and with normal twelve years old attitudes xD)

I agree!! Shu quitting smoking for Teuta was so cute. I think one of my (very minor) gripes is how Shu didn't experience withdrawals at all, or ever felt the urge to light a cigarette after all that? I don't really count the one time he smoked with Yang because he was offered a cigarette, and he did put it out early. And yeah you're right that was really cute 🥺 out of all the LIs, it's Shu that I was least expecting to talk to her parents, but he really went and did it. Good job Shu.

I like your thoughts on the last two chapters! You're one of the few people I talked to who kinda liked them LMAO in my case I was definitely one of the people who were disappointed. So much plot bombs were dropped that didin't have any hinting or foreshadowing whatsoever throughout the same, so it's just one unsatisfying surprise after another to me. It also gave me more questions than answers, which hopefully would get answered in the second season but also I highly doubt it. I really love the Carmen CG though. Also man I felt the opposite with Auld Lang Syne, it didn't feel calm to me at all LOL the effects were giving me a migraine, and the reveals (especially about Zora and Sauli) made me feel so sick. Then the game ended there and I just sat there confused. 😂

I know, I was laughing for days afterwards over the fact someone else bucked the recommended order and played the exact order I did.

True about the withdrawals thing; never really through of that. I'd say my gripe in general was the routes felt on the shorter side, so the writers had a LOT of ground to cover in not a whole lot of time. So I guess things like Shu struggling with quitting or more obvious romantic scenes in Mozu's route were glossed over due to those length restraints. Though, thinking about it, Shu's withdrawals had to be hellish because he said smoking was the way to bring him back to that day, but the nicotine had to be numbing in some fashion, too. So you have the two opposite components tied to past trauma that his clinging to using a now deeply ingrained habit, and you're telling me he was able to just change to lollipops on a dime? Yeah, I'm not buying it, but I'll overlook it because it's Shu. XD

And agreed. You would have expected Limbo, with his connection to his sister throughout the game, to be the one to do it. But nah, Shu was the surprise. :D I really liked it, though, because even though is family is a little odd and broken, it was very tight and meant the world to him. It was very precious. <3

I know I'm a bit of the odd ball when it came to those last 2 chapters. XD But whatever, LOL. I was definitely left reeling after the last chapter, so I understand that feeling. I binged that game in a matter of a week or two, so I hit the end and was just sitting in the adrenaline rush of "no, that can't be all!" XD I haven't replayed that end, so I'll have to go back and replay it for a better answer. But for Auld Syne Lang, I guess I should have clarified that it didn't exactly calm me as much as it was relatively "calmer" compared to Full Circle. XD Because that end WAS one gut punch after another. (Also, yeah, those affects were brutal, I think at that point, I stopped paying attention to them and just focused on the text specifically.) As I was replaying the main route, though, rereading that Luka committed fraud for a sex crime victim's case was a punch to the gut! Like suddenly her motivations of being a cop and helping out that victim in particular was crystal clear. And painful. Like, there were hints that you just kinda gloss over at the time, but rereading them makes you applaud that bit of foreshadowing.

Left this for last, but as for my three favorite boys, I'm obsessed with Code:Realize. Victor Frankenstein and Abraham Van Helsing have been batting for top spot for a while. XD I adore both of them to pieces. Victor was top for a while, but I think Van has just edge him out by now. And that leaves Sasuke as solid third. XD No other Love Interest has left quite as strong and heavy of an impression on me as much as these three boys. (It's the glasses. Has to be. XD) Even though I definitely have others I love, these are hard and fast top 3 that aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

My love of Van Helsing is probably the reason I was drawn to Shu so much. They have quite a bit in common.

Walking in a confident, hot way

Ino does this in a way that is so successful and confident that it makes others think they are failing by not being as good as her.

Naruto would struggle at first, but get the hang of it relatively quickly. God, his calves look great. He's loving this.

Hinata can do it, too, because she was taught to. She is shy and nervous, but she can probably kick ass in heels at this point.

Neji can, of course, strut in a pair of heels. It wasn't even difficult for him to learn. He is the one who taught Hinata.

Rock Lee is wearing the highest heels of all and doing a fantastic job at it. He can beat anyone's ass in these shoes, too.

Tenten can also do it, to round out the team. It wasn't her natural instinct, but she refused to be outshone by her peers and also Gai-Sensei. Now she can do so many murderous things whilst in stilettos.

Kiba, interestingly enough, is magnificent in heels. HIs family taught him, and he thinks his legs look good.

Stumbling along ok enough

Sakura tries her very best, and it looks flawless to anyone who is not a shinobi, but truly, she is struggling and tottering.

Shikamaru has decent balance. If the heel gets too high, he's not enjoying it and trudging in small steps in order to not tumble. It's not his optimal footwear.

Shino can deal, but it's abject misery for him. He hates it actively and never, ever wants to do it again.

Falling, dying, breaking ankles

Choji, sadly, is not thriving under these conditions. He needs more arch support.

Sasuke actually can't hang here. It's tragic because his mentors and also family could thrive in heels, but he just can't do it. It's torture.

You are totally right and I love this ask so much!!

Okay, here's how the support he needs changes:

He needs his alpha to facilitate alone time for him.

Sasuke is an introvert so when he's been doing team missions or he's been around his family a lot or Naruto's been kidnapping him into various shenanigans then he needs a break for himself.

Let him have the house to himself periodically while you take your pup out for a day.

Sasuke needs that time so he doesn't burn out. Before the pup is born, he uses the morning time to be alone, but 5-6 yr old pups are early risers and Sasuke's pup loves him so much, she always wants to be with him haha.

Sasuke needs support with his continued therapy, but in a different way to before.

When he first started therapy, your job was mostly convincing him to go and pushing him into trying the suggestions. He also sometimes asked for his alpha to accompany him to therapy.

At this point, he more needs his alpha to just... have a warm cup of tea ready for him when he gets back and know that he's probably tired and no interested in talking.

Sasuke needs a lot of comfort and reassurance on his parenting skills.

Sasuke truly believes he is not a natural parent. And there is some truth in that. He has no experience with children at all and barely tolerates any that aren't his own. But he tries very hard.

He needs his alpha to recognise that effort and offer reassurance that Sasuke is doing the right thing.

And this last thing is something that Sasuke will deny he needs, but you have to force him to socialise and keep his friendships XD

You have to let him and Naruto get up to some things, you have to pull Sasuke to group dinners and gatherings, and you have to make him host some play dates for his pup too XD

He doesn't like it, but if it were up to him, he'd never speak to anyone but his alpha and his pup, and that isn't good for him.

So, you have to push him into socialising lol.

There are definitely other things that will come and go, but these are the first things that come to mind as consistent needs! :D

Idk abt personality wise but I had an idea for an au where Ranmaru pretends to be a cabin boy on Motonari's ship in order to get info and all the pirates r won over by his charming, idol-like persona-except Motonari. Ranmaru is determined to crack the man's devil may care facade, at first because of his mission but quickly changes to his own interest. Idk i just think that'd be neat :)

Mitsuhide suspects Ranmaru's up to something and in order to find out the truth he gets closer to the lad. When Ranmaru is found out to be a traitor Mitsuhide is the one who must torture him but he can't bear to do it and lets him go. For Ranmaru's part he has fallen for the man and torn between his loyalty to his master and love for Mitsuhide. The angst is piping hot.

Something definitely happened between these two while they were spying together 😏 no doubt abt it. This ship got that good enemies to friends to lovers vibe going on and I for one think they'd be a power couple.

They really had Iruka ask a class of kids that morbid random ass question. They're ninjas in training, what kind of schooling is this?

It's obvious bullshit that Naruto wouldn't have been able to produce a name for that assignment. He would've written Sasuke's name but nice try movie. He had no clue but now he knows it'd be Hinata. 🙄 A girl he had no history with instead of the boy he was drawn to.

And with Hinata, they really were unaware of how shitty they were making her look huh? It reminds me of Sakura, who has a whole family, telling Sasuke that she'd be as alone as him, a victim of genocide, if he "left her".

So what? Did they really think that her writing Naruto's name was romantic?? And do NH fans really go nuts over it? She has a whole fucking family, a clan, but she'd pick to spend her last day/moments alive with a boy who she thinks is cute and doesn't know? You can say that her dad is mean, but what about her precious "Neji-nii-san" that she woves so much? What about her baby sister?

Ppl give Sakura justified shit for her disregarding her family so easily, I would love for that to spread to Hinata's also boy crazy obsessed ass.

That's why I find it so funny SP writes all these "adored elder sister" filler nonsense about Hinata and Hanabi, like Hinata would rather write the name of some boy she talked to once and who doesn't notice her, than her own sister's name. XD Even in the war arc, Hinata was only concerned about Naruto, not for her teammates, sister, Kurenai or the baby.

Sakura is very IC in the movie that I have to admit. She's literally threatening physical violence if Naruto doesn't pay attention to Hinata, she's berating him by calling him stupid and saying Hinata is almost too good for him, and she's plotting for her own good as clearly shown in her conversation with Hinata. "We need support each other" when did Hinata support her? The only way it makes sense if Sakura means keeping Naruto away from Sasuke. You two sure are supporting each other by manipulating men to be with you. 🙄

This isn't funny at this point, it's complete desperation 🤣🤣🤣!! Since when did he say that??? I don't remember him ever looking at her in the eyes passionately, even in Boruto. How many lies do they have to come up with just for them to feel good about their ship??? If Sasuke doesn't say anything about her eyes, then I completely discard that idea. He doesn't even take the time to compliment her looks, not that he cares about that anyway 🤷🏽‍♀️. And in another post you said that they are asking SP to make Sasuke and Sakura kiss right? Hello ANon! Oh yes, this "He is obsessed with Sakura eyes" is a thing that me and my friend always laugh at xD But yes, it's true. I read it in one their multiple meta post. Will not attach the link because too much cringe and i read it long ago. This post, conveniently selected some pannels and ...I dont know jaja tried to point out that always there is some connection between Sasuke's gaze to Sakura's eyes. For example they edited and cropped panels from Sasuke first reunion in Shippuden, and they cut Naruto out of the picture and made it seem...as if he were looking at her? Ah also because when he said "she was annoying" he somehow¿¿¿¿ was looking at her in the eyes (despite there is no proof of this lol) Of course they also added their so called s-mex/eyesmex whateverthefcuk pointing again that he has some kink with her eyes. Yeah. I know... Even if he doesnt word it or say something about them, you as mangaka can transmit those feelings especially in gazes and stares. Anime has the amazing characteristic of communicate a lot through the eyes, I myself can assure you as a drawer too (not a proffesional still but been drawing for 15 years.) If Kishimoto wanted to say something between...Sasuke having some obsession about Sakura eyes, he would have done it. Especially when Sasuke's eyes are so intense. In fact, in that chapter they selectively edited, Sasuke was staring at naruto, its the same when he was staring at him in Vote1 and we can go on. Say also Itachi's eyes when he is first introduced, meaning...Kishimoto knows how to do this job.

I can agree they had some chemistry when he saved her in the war (their only good scene) But this is as an isolated moment....to then confirm that he is obssesed with her eyes...Well, reading comprehension = 0

And regarding the kiss, yes this is something they always ask on twitter. They are desperate absolutely desperate for a kiss between them. I dont know if SP will make them kiss. In fact, the only couple they made kiss multiple times was SNS . We have a kiss for Naruto with Fuuka , whom he shared a very disgusted face.

Kakashi with this woman in a filler. And if someone remembers other ones let me know. But for canon... They could add even a kiss for Minakushi but never they did, or the strongest couples. So...i find it hard they made them kiss because its not relevant. If Sasuke kiss someone again, it may be naruto to maybe remember them of their first kiss, as some comic relief. Oh yeah i know Borusara kissed somehow but that was also filler and that kiss reflected SNS in fact So... xD About Boruto i dont know where people took this from, that something not good is coming for SS¿ Because I mean, SS is absolutey NON EXISTENT in Boruto. And I wonder if Ikemoto would plan to pull their romance in the manga, when he is dealing with this horrible topic about aliens and the bad copy of Akatsuki, Kara.

What some are especulating is that Sasuke death could be near, since he gifted his headband to Boruto which...We can take it as a bad and good thing at the same time for SNS. The manga nowadays is centered on Boruto, Kawaki, Sasuke and Naruto, Shikamaru and Amado. And the villains of course. Even this random girl Sumire, has more relevance and presence than Sakura and Hinata, so...i dont know what Bad thing could come for SS because its as if they have never been in there.

Something that maybe catched their eyes, is that Sarada complained that Sasuke is HER father more than Boruto's teacher. I find this marvelous lol because it just confirms what i have always said. But in any case, that the girl expressed (such as in canon as in a filler) this complaining its because we know whom is Sasuke's heart more connected with. (Despite what the gaiden said)

Billy laughs then, loud and long and unhinged. It's the only sound in the whole house, and it bounces off the walls like a fucked up echo, like the world is laughing with him.

“Jesus christ you’re insane…” It’s Max’s voice and it’s shaking. It only makes Billy laugh harder, because Max has it all wrong. Billy isn’t crazy, it’s the rest of the world that’s insane.

Billy dies a hero of sorts. He wakes up back in his bed on Saturday morning, the third of November, 1984...nearly nine months earlier.

(Billy is stuck in a time loop and it's slowly driving him crazy. And the fic shows just how much influence Billy did have in the plot and how doomed the world is without him in it. Great character exploration with Billy's character and all the ways he's so messy and human. Definitely recommend it!)

(It's just!! So cute and wholesome!!! The Shiratorizawa volleyball team is so fleshed out along with the OC characters for the girl's soccer team and I swear, it's been a long while since I've laughed this much at the sheer shenanigans that happen in a fic. It's surprisingly hard to find good gen fics in this fandom so finding this gem made me so happy! If you want a fic that brings a smile to your face, read this!!)

(The fact this fic is canon-compliant and covers post-canon too makes me want to shout to the heavens. Fucking incredible! One of the best Oikakage fics ever and it's a crime how it's not at the top of the ship tag. Please please read!!)

Their dynamic is so interesting and I just love how their relationship develops. Also, Kakashi trolling the poor kid made me cackle, it's great! Definitely recommend it!)

Bakugou trying his best to be a good friend is one of the best things about this fic. Trust me, this fic will make your day, promise!)

(I binged this in two fucking days, I couldn't put it down. This fic reminded me why I liked fairy tail when I was younger and why Natsu is honestly such a great protagonist, god. And the fic does that thing, you know, the Thing where when two worlds collide, the characters struggle to acclimate and adapt to a completely another world with different rules and mindsets against their own. This fic is seriously one of the best when it comes to that aspect, it's incredible. I am going absolutely feral over here for this fic to update, I'm waiting in the wings, ready to pounce like a tiger, all the metaphors man. For the love of god, read this fic.)

(Before this fic, I only had a very vague idea of what Natsume's Book of Friends was, and honestly, I still don't know much about it. But I didn't really need to know to get into this fic. I love the worldbuilding and the relationships Kakashi forms, both supernatural and mortal. I love how Kakashi's inhumane ways affect others around him, whether to stress them out or become used to the strange. You can go straight into this fic without knowing anything and absolutely still have a fantastic time. I definitely recommend this so please read!)

He remembers how in the academy, the first time he shut everyone out of his world, they had shared a glance. But she was too shy to reach out and he was too cold to be approached, so they had looked away instantly.

Back then he wondered if she was no different than the others—a bunch of shallow kids who only knew good things on how to be a shinobi.

He concluded, even back then, that she was different.

Not because she'd preferred to crush on the obnoxious blond head on his right.

Not because she'd preferred to write poems on her self-made pressed flowers bookmarks, taking shy glances towards Naruto, and keeping quiet every time he arrived at his usual desk.

Not even because she'd preferred to cheer on Naruto when he was the one that had won the unchallenging match.

Presently, he is helping her preparing his favorite dish. He's cut a bunch of tomatoes, filled multiple mini onigiri with various fillings, and eaten one or two the ones she's made. Because even with the same ingredients and procedure, hers are always different.

Looking at the onigiri arranged neatly inside the woven bamboo bowl, he realizes that it brings back memories of past time and there has always been a connection between them since childhood. He has always known that she was different.

It was because she had chosen the desk next to his, with the aisle between them, as her usual seat—close but not overwhelming.

It was because she didn't express her concern for him—but her eyes always followed him and he could sense it every single time.

It was because instead of chocolate, love letters, and any terrible thing the other girls could think about, she always left a bento packed with various fillings of onigiri and slices of ripe tomatoes inside the hidden shelf under his desk every single day.

To him,

she was different than the rest of the academy population then,

she is different than the rest of the world population now.

21) In the Akatsuki what color would you paint your nails?

Black (or onyx like color), dark blue, or dark purple. I wouldn't mind going into earthy tones either, really. 😁

22) Who would you want your partner to be in the Akatsuki?

Kakuzu, because he would always know where to find money. xD Okay, seriously now! 😁 I'm not sure I would be even part of Akatsuki, but if I would, I think Konan or Kisame would be great partners. :D

24) Weapon of choice

I really loved every single weapon Madara carried/had, they all looked so incredibly cool. 😁 I loved Sasuke's sword (I forgot its name, sorry!) and overall I like katanas, they look awesome!

31) brotp

This one is not easy...Nagato and Yahiko seemed to have a good friendship (or at least from what I can remember), so maybe them. I don't really have a brotp either though.

35) What ninja occupation would you choose?

I think I would be either a medical ninja. Other jobs would immediately lead to my undoing. xD
