I'm bad at math, but is Bruce theoretically 38 years old when he goes into the time stream?
Hear me out (and canon likes to fluncate their ages, so this is my best guess without trying to account for birthdays):
Bruce becomes the legal guardian of 9 year old Dick when he's 23. That's a 14 year difference.
Jason becomes Robin when Dick leaves at 18. Jason is 13. That's a five year difference.
Jason dies at 15, and Tim becomes Robin at 13. That's a two year difference.
The age difference between Tim and Bruce would thus be 21 years.
Tim becomes Red Robin to find Bruce at 17.
That means that Bruce had to be 38, right? Why was I imagining him closer to 50?
Adopting so many kids must have aged him

It's ironic how Batman is painted as irresponsible for having children fighting as his side (ignoring how said children would still fight without him), but never other heroes, HOWEVER the moment the Teen Titans/Young Justice wants to do something dangerous or comes back from doing something dangerous, he is literally the only responsible adult out of the Justice League. Like, the others are simply like "I'm so proud of you!" but Batman is lecturing his kids about how dangerous it was, how they didn't even told him where they were going, how they didn't contact him about their well-being enough, about how difficult it would have been for him to come help if they needed it... He's straight-up acting like a parent that found out his kid sneaked out, but they didn't came back until later the next day, and never called to tell them they were alive.
Bruce is portrayed as the "unfunny" one when one of his teenage kids is like "the team and I wants to do this dangerous thing unsupervised", because every other adult is fine with their own doing it, but like, he is being the responsible one. Yeah, a responsible parent would not be like "sure sweetie, go fight this dangerous thing with your teenage friends", they would be like "No, you could get hurt. Yes, I trust you, but this is not safe".
Sometimes, he isn't overprotective, he is normal-level-protective for when your kid is a "vigilante that fights people who will kill them without regret" as a hobby, and the others are being careless (no hate to them tho)

Fellas, is it gay to keep your homoerotic reading material right next to the things that remind you of another man?

NGL though the major reason I liked Generator Rex as a young adult was probably the delightful intro-level body horror and vaguely dubious ethical quandaries, the characters were great but a setting where EVERYONE, everyone and everything, was infected with nanites that could, at any point, just turn you into a horrible monster without warning and the sociological implications of that... as well as the Ethical Dilemma Child Soldier vibes Rex would occasionally give off when he was the ward of Providence, which is pretty explicitly a secret para-military organization doing a worldwide sus. Hello we are here to save you from the monsters! Ignore that we're mostly doing this for PR and our upper management is constantly fighting with itself because no one can agree on how to ethically deal with someone who's now a massive horrible monster shshsshshhh.
They toy a little with the ethical issues of this sooo well that for every silly joke with the talking monkey (that I sigh at because while I do have that taste sometimes I am NOT a 15 year old boy) there was enough nuggets of unethical science drama with the military force to keep me going Oh? Oh? What kind of nonsense are we up to today lads?
also the love interest had a weird worm mouth

Our main character is dyslexic and her stories and journal are unedited and heavily doused in metaphor, code, advanced humor, innuendos and symbolism. The books are in different times and settings for the reader to piece back the lofes puzzle together and for the reader to come to their own conclusion.
Are you smart enough to figure out what shes telling you and solve the mystery? Or are you capable of having your own Double Cola Talk epiphany and get the answers?
The 5th book of the FORE SQUARE series is to be published January 29th, 2024-Kansas Day on Amazon

israeli forces have arrested ahed tamimi in the occupied west bank based on false accusations
Tumblr media
the first time she got arrested, she was a teenager and it was because she punched a soldier after he shot her cousin. she was convicted and jailed like most palestinian children tried in israeli military courts. now she's been arrested again on the basis of false allegations.
in the beginning of the russia/ukraine war, her pictures and story were circulated, and people applauded her when they thought she was a ukrainian teen who had fought back against a russian soldier - when palestinians clarified the truth, most of the aforementioned people retracted their support. such double standards. israelis posted the bottom right picture as a 'victory' - clearly, israel's idea of victory is terrorizing civilians in their homes, from the occupied west bank to gaza.

what a great day to remember everyone that if millionaires kids are old enough to enjoy spending their inherited blood money and reap their benefits then they're also old enough to understand and bear the social condemnation that comes with it <3
