On second thought, I think Dawntrail is the vacation expansion. Every vacation I've been on seems like its exciting at first. Until you're on it. Then the entire time you're like IwannagohomeIwannagohomeIwannagohome and then as you're on your fifth airplane that was delayed by 2 hours even though you all were loading in, I just remember being like, "Never again" so Dawntrail. Exciting to get into, just kind of okay all and all and ending makes me not want to go back to Solution 9.

You guys, FFXIV is not dying. These video essays about how "the game is dead" are wrong. Just because you aren't enjoying the current content, does not mean the game is dying. FFXIV is doing fine. It has a set schedule that's been the same since StB (possibly HW) and always has low pop times and high pop times.

This whole "omg the game is dead it's bad abandon ship" trend is stupid.

UPDATE

Currently this blog is on a partial hiatus.

I'm really sorry but I just haven't been up to playing FFXIV; it lost a lot of what made me love it and I frustrated myself for almost a year trying to power through. Then I went and played other games and was having more fun, so much fun I'm currently 70k words deep into an Elder Scrolls longfic, which is more words than I've ever written for any fandom.

So. For now, that's how it is. This is still my FFXIV quarantine zone so any reblogs will happen over here, but it'll likely be a while before I make any more gposes or mods. In the meantime, if you'd like to stick around, you can find me at @akira-kelle .
