After the shock of the American election outcome for many people, i want to announce my new Go Fund Me campaign to help me start up the next bastion of peace, love, and art!

A new art studio from which i will create art for the betterment of humanity; the same way i did previously!

A pivotal moment in changing your beliefs can lead to some big things. 🤲💪🌱 My story of how you should never believe that you are only one person and cannot make a difference. The strength of one voice CAN be heard. The actions of ONE person DO make a difference. 🤲💪🌱 These pictures show the result of approximately eight hours of work; spread over multiple days, by 4 people. This project started out with me by myself, half an hour here, half an hour there; strolling with my green bags and picking up bits of rubbish. I filled up my council approved bin that week too. Now; this project involves 4 people; 2 household trolleys and enormous boxes to hold the sheer volume of rubbish and recyclables we pick up. Without the small start of just me on my own; this massive project would not have come to pass... 🤲💪🌱 Now ask yourself this: CAN you make a difference after all? 🌍🌎🌏 The earth is depending on us all, as individuals, to start standing up and making the differences we can make. Sawfish are one of my favorite species of elasmobranch. This group includes all rays and sharks. I remember my first glimpse of one of these amazing creatures when I was a kid, and thought it was the coolest thing I have ever seen. Unfortunately, today, they are critically endangered. It's so important to make sure you are protecting our ecosystem and natural environment while enjoying our beautiful state. As recently as January of this year, a man was sentenced to 2 years probation, 80 hours of community service and a $2,000 fine for killing an endangered smalltooth sawfish. @floridafwc does not mess around when it comes to harming any animal, let alone an endangered one. “You Can Help” is probably my favorite page from the Quarantine Life series now! I was a little worried it would appear too busy (there’s a LOT of activity going on in small spaces, and lots of potential for wild and creative colors!), but now that I’ve colored one, I LOVE it. This illustration shows several ways even kids can help during this pandemic! They seem small and simple, but they’re all things we can ALL do to help EVERYONE! It’s a collective effort, and a little bit can go a LONG way. I found this helpful to use to talk with my toddler about things and how she can help and even show others kindness even though we can’t be with them physically right now. I hope this encourages conversation with you and your littles, and they even come up with their own ideas in how they can help! . . Fun fact: I never use rulers for any of these drawings—I like the imperfection of the slightly-wobbly lines. Creating a grid for these windows that was close to evenly spaced was not an easy task though—I had to adjust their spacing and start over about four times! One tip I was told years ago and continue to live by though: Close enough is good enough! 😉 . . This is now available in my Etsy shop!
