My final King’s Rising thoughts 👑👑

- Gotta love Damianos, King of Akielos, looking down at a broken cart and being like “I’m too privileged to know how to fix this” while Lazar and Pallas fuck unsubtly in the background.

- LAMEN. CRYING. 😭😭😭 Laurent really chose Damen’s high school bully nickname.

- Charls is an actual MVP. He took one look at Laurent and understood the assignment. He’s a cousin to the King of Vere now. He is actually a part of the royal family. Ring bearer at the wedding. I don’t make the rules. And the absolute best part about it is that he never fuckin finds out 😂

- Laurent is having the absolute time of his life. He’s sat there TRASHING Nikandros and telling all these Akeilon sluts to cover their arms and accidentally reinventing the cloth trade. What a legend 😂

- The night they spend at the inn is so so significant. Laurent realising that he’s allowed to have desires and finally being asked what he wants. But also the undercurrent of being scared and confused by what turns him on because of his history. Damn I love that his traumatic experiences don’t disappear just because he has Damen now.

- I also need a whole book about their trip through Akeilos - Laurent being too pale and northern for the heat is SO real lol

- King Damianos promising to end slavery 🥲

- I need Laurent and Nikandros to become friends who tease each other ruthlessly.

- Okay so the kid is Kastor’s. I have to admit, I really do appreciate Jokaste and her sacrifices to a certain degree - not the whole degree - but a certain degree.

- Laurent giving himself over for Damen’s sake and the child. Holy shit the symbolism. Damen hearing the Regent confirm what he already kind of knew about Laurent and going apeshit, and Laurent realising he’s defending him. 💔

- “Throw up quick, we need to go.” Nikandros, I love you.

- Damen just WALKING IN to surrender. He really said all eyes on me you’re not gonna forget this.

- He stands up for Laurent against all the odds and I cannot even imagine what that felt like for Laurent.

- GUION YOU RAT ASS MOTHERFUCKER (I should have seen this coming.)

- And this is why you NEVER cross a mother about the ones she loves - the Regent is being taken down by every child he abused and that is exactly how I wanted him to fall. So satisfying.

- Paschal’s testimony and it all coming together. I ADORE how no character is forgotten or irrelevant once they die. Nicaise, Aimeric and even Govart were significant to the Regent’s downfall. The perfect evidence for the council to acquit Laurent and charge the Regent.

- I have to mention the 11 year old boy and how Laurent protects him when he sees him worry for the Regent upon his execution. He truly doesn’t understand what’s going on and the manipulation runs deep. Laurent broke that cycle of abuse.

- Kastor vs. Damianos - another fight that was always meant to happen and solidified that Kastor cannot be redeemed, even by Damen’s kindness.

- Laurent being the one to kill Kastor was only fitting. He’s fulfilled himself, Auguste, and Damen, and he used something so himself to do it. His wits. I really love that.

- And finally we have two legitimate kings, friends, and lovers. Ruling over two kingdoms that will probably end up one. An absolute perfect ending. ♥️

Okay soooo~ this is my first time writing to ur acc but- I have a headcon idea about the rottmnt boys and I just laughed so hard on the inside- Okay so picture them with a short bestfriend/crush like around 5,1 or 4,11 you get the idea anyway- So their bestfriend/crush made a bet that they couldn't find them in 5-10 minutes and since reader is so short they can fit into any type of space like the kitchen cabinets maybe the ceiling maybe even the lab- and the boys are just looking around trying to find their bestfriend/crush and then maybe after so much time has passed their bestfriend/crush jumps out and scares the living daylights out of them- (*cough* Mostly Donnie or Leo *cough*) those two have the best reactions when caught off guard can't convince me otherwise- tho I feel like Donnie would be getting scared shitless the most because he always somehow forgets their bestfriend/crush is short af and can fit and hide anywhere and probably in his lab- Like just imagine Donnie in his lab working on shelldon only for their bestfriend/crush scare him shitless while he just stands there frozen staring into space trying to come back down to reality- because the poor guy got so scared his soul almost left him early- I'm actually dying picturing it and it being so fucking funny-🤣😂

Starts off cocky

He’s laughing as he searches, all swagger, tossing out taunts like, “C’mon, this’ll be easy! You’re like, what, a foot tall?”

At first, he checks all the obvious spots, confident he’ll win

But when he doesn’t find them right away

He starts getting… annoyed

With each passing minute, he’s scrambling more and getting low-key panicked

(But will never admit it)

He’s crawling under tables, looking behind every cabinet, even balancing on his toes to check high places, muttering, “Where are you?”

By minute 9, he’s convinced they’re using some kind of stealth magic

Just when he’s about to yell for a hint

His friend leaps out of a high cabinet right above his head, shouting, “Found you!”

Leo jumps about a mile in the air and definitely lets out a yelp, only to turn and immediately play it cool

“Pfft, please, I knew you were up there the whole time,” he insists, laughing nervously while they’re laughing their head off

(He’ll never live it down).

Donnie approaches the challenge like a tactical mission

He’s positive his analytical skills will give him the edge, he’s done simulations for situations like this

He starts systematically checking everywhere he deems logical, mumbling calculations under his breath

He doesn’t even consider weird spots like tiny cabinets or tight spaces because he just assumes “they can’t fit in there.”

But as time ticks down and they still haven’t turned up, he starts… glitching

It bothers him that he can’t find them

He’s questioning his methods, his intelligence, his sanity

By minute 10, he’s pulling apart his lab in desperation, muttering, “Statistically, this makes no sense…”

Then...

BAM!

They leap out from behind a stack of lab equipment, yelling “BOO!”

He freezes

Doesn’t move, doesn’t blink, just stands there, eyes wide, brain processing while his crush is cracking up

It takes him a solid five seconds to finally exhale and snap back to reality, half-annoyed, half-awed

“How… what… That was highly unnecessary.” But inside?

He’s impressed. Very impressed.

Raph is convinced he’s got this in the bag

He’s actually low-key excited to find them

Searches quickly, carefully looking under furniture and checking behind things

His biggest worry?

Accidentally breaking whatever tiny space they might be hiding in

Around the 5-minute mark, he’s getting a little worried, muttering “Alright, you gotta come out sometime.”

(He’s trying to sound annoyed but is actually having a blast.)

After a few more minutes, they finally jump out from a hidden nook and yell, “Gotcha!”

He’s startled, sure, but instead of jumping, he just lets out a big laugh and grins wide

“Nice try, short stuff. Almost got me there.”

He’s proud

Just doesn’t totally understand why anyone would want to squeeze into such a tiny spot to hide

Raph will start opening the cabins more carefully from now on, afraid that they might be hiding there out of nowhere.

He’s 100% into it, like it’s a treasure hunt, bouncing from place to place, calling out, “Ready or not, here I come!”

He’s convinced his “hide-and-seek intuition” will help him find them in record time

But when he can’t find them, he only gets more hyped

For Mikey, it’s all part of the fun

At minute 10, he’s practically pleading

“Alright, you win! Just tell me where you are!” He even starts rapping, trying to coax them out

When they finally jump out, surprising him with a “BOO!”

He lets out a huge scream and then immediately starts laughing

“That was awesome! You’re like a tiny ninja or something!”

(Mikey gets a little paranoid though, thinking they're going to jump out at him out of nowhere.)

100% asks for a rematch immediately

Mikey just wants an excuse to play this all over again.

♡ It all starts sort of late one night when Wooyoung’s catching up with his friend over a beer and the rapper admits he has a crush. Of course Wooyoung teases the shit out of him but he can’t stop grinning and practically jumping out of his seat in excitement.

♡ His eyes light up. “I can help you!” “I don’t need help!” “Aw, come on! I can talk about how strong and awesome you are!” “Well,” Changbin begins to relent, smiling at the ego boost, “all right.” “Of course I’ll be lying,” Wooyoung says with a wicked grin. “Hey!” “Kidding!

♡ Cut to the next time all three of you are together. Wooyoung is so happy to meet you, very friendly and eager in a way that has you smiling. Also very, very complimentary to Changbin.

♡ “Changbin, I know, has been working out a bunch, haven’t you? What are you benching now?” The number does surprise you, but you brush the gym talk off as guy stuff and give the rapper a short praise.

♡ “Has he shown you the latest song he wrote? Man, the guy has a way with words sometimes?” “No,” you reply with an eager smile, “what’s it about?” Wooyoung, you notice, looks nearly more satisfied with Changbin, who pulls out his phone to show you a little demo recording. “Wow, that is good! I wasn’t expecting a love song,” you gush, your voice going quiet. “Well, guess I can be a romantic sometimes,” Changbin replies with a grin that sends warmth to your cheeks.

♡ Changbin is already a shameless flirt, so Wooyoung barely has to do anything. “Hey, do you guys wanna get ice cream?” You ask, nodding to the parlor you’re approaching. “Sure, I’ll get you whatever you want,” Changbin tells you, leaning in a bit.

♡ “You’re right, there’s no helping you,” Wooyoung teases him, earning an elbow to the ribs in response. “That wasn’t what I said!” Changbin shoots back before rushing to hold the door open for you.

♡ “Mind you he won’t pay for me,” Wooyoung whispers to you, “you must be special.” Your eyes light up. “Really?” “Oh, yeah,” Changbin’s friend continues, “watch. Hold his hand and he’ll melt.”

♡ Changbin can’t beat up his homie when he got you guys to hold hands 💔 they have a running joke forever about how indebted the rapper is to Wooyoung because “I got you two together!” “I was about to do it myself!” “Was not!” Big children but we love em 😁

♡ “YOU LIKE-” “Pipe down, you’re so loud,” Wooyoung whines to his friend as if he isn’t the same, “until we get together, shut it. The rest of the members will tease me if I strike out.”

♡ Changbin crosses his arms. “You won’t.” “Aw, thanks, man, I appreciate the confidence-” “Because I’m going to help you!”

♡ According to Changbin, it’s simple, so that’s how the three of you end up meeting for lunch. Changbin is really friendly-though the way he keeps glancing between you and his friend is a bit unnerving.

♡ “Wooyoung, show (y/n) the move you were practicing the other day, you know, the really sexy one,” Changbin asks once practice got brought up, prompting his friend to stand up and perform, smirking as he looks only at you.

♡ You feel yourself flush. “Wow, I’ll say! You really fit that concept for sure.” You don’t see it, but Changbin goes for a high-five under the table.

♡ “Hey Wooyoung, that looks really good. Do you like what you got?” “Yeah,” you agree with Changbin, smiling, “I almost got that, too!” Your expression is contagious to Wooyoung, who holds out his chopsticks. “Wanna try?” Changbin can barely hide his satisfaction behind a sip of his drink as his friend and you cutely feed each other swapped bits of your lunches.

♡ “Well, guys, this has been fun, but Jisung’s calling me back to the studio. (Also they do this with single syllable names which is even more egregious. They translate didi as Zhao, they don't even have the fucking courtesy to make it A-Zhao)

The wips I'm listing are the few remaining one-shots I still plan to write for the past Nhmonth event: Nhmonth23. I've also included some prompts from the Nhmonth22 event that I still intend to write as well.

I've done my best to infuse humor into these snippets, though I must admit, most lean toward the smutty, angsty, or dark side, haha. The "out of context wips" could go either way—terribly bad, good, or downright goofy. Who knows? 🤷🏽‍♀️ You all are the judge!

These are just sooo stupid, lol. 😂🤭 I can't explain it, but these random snippets just popped into my head, and so, I didn't think anything further on them and just wrote them all down here. It was fun though!

Oh man there's so much for Felix and Skylar afcfhf the story has kinda built itself around these two basically since it's conception like 4 years ago. It's hard to describe it cause I can't think of any trope they slot into nicely to shorthand describe them 😂

Since I don't know how to put this concisely I'll just ramble about them under the cut lol!

So Felix is this funny guy who's super chill and casual about stuff all the time but also is so so oriented around friends. He'll meet someone and just be like "You're my new friend now I decided", which meshes with Skylar's 'loner protagonist' tendencies hilariously. Skylar's just cruising around the universe with Gigi, popping in here and there to save the day then disappear as spontaneously as he arrived under this assumption that it will always only ever be him and his brother (hair blowing dramatic in the wind(that's all he really needs, right?)). Then he meets this guy who's just as stubborn as he is that he can't seem to shake off his tail?? It doesn't matter what time or planet or dimension he goes off to, this guy's always there! It's like the universe itself is pulling this on him. He doesn't like how the guy's face lights up whenever he sees him and sometimes he says some pretty crazy stuff like "we're best friends in the future" like that would ever happen. 🙄

Meanwhile Felix is just struggling. His entire life has always been structured around "his people"- friends, neighbors, family, coworkers- anyone he can make a connection with. But now they're all gone, and worse still he can't settle in and try to make new connections, he's gotta figure out how to get home! In the midst of all this he keeps running into the same kid over and over and over again who seems to be living in this mindset that he's the only person who's really real. It starts out with him thinking "man this kid needs an adult in his life" but the more they hang out the more they develop this mutual respect for each other. Skylar may be a teenager, but also he's brave and capable and has seen so much- he's literally hundreds of years old. Felix may be a silly softie who likes following rules so much he invents his own and his hair style is super dumb, he doesn't fit the impossible standard of "manhood" Skylar's father set for him, but he is pretty brave and capable and something about how he talks about his own kids hurts somewhere deep down (though he'd never admit it) and he just WANTS to be home SOMEWHERE actually. Despite all the pretending he can't fully bury that ache.

So reluctantly, not like he'd actually admit that's what he's doing, he starts purposefully crossing paths with this crazy weirdo who's trying to map the universe (?? literally what kind of idea is that??) Skylar may be human but he hasn't lived like a human for so long it's almost like he's become some Other magic thing. ...and the more time goes on the more Felix changes too. By the time he finally finds his home he's changed so much from the (admittedly unusual) man he was before and there's no going back. And it kind of ends up that all they've got is each other who really understands what it's like... seeing all of time play out in snapshots here and there, dying a hundred deaths and watching the hundreds of lives being lived all around you.

Please please go read this comic August made :DDD (at this point Felix still doesn't know really what happened, why Skylar left home and refuses to even try to go back. So he's got as much context in this conversation as you all do. ;)

There's so much of this too that just goes unsaid in their relationship. Felix is a quiet guy and he's not great with words- especially spur of the moment- if he's gonna say something he's gotta plan out the whole "script" in advance. Skylar's got so many layers of emotional repression and is like. allergic to ever giving a straight answer to anything or talking about his feelings (yuck), but they don't need words to know how much the other one cares. You just end up with these two dudes who just... they love each other, ya know? The closest I've ever seen their dynamic get to another piece of media is Kuzco and Pacha from "The Emperor's New Groove". 😂

Objection(denial) to ur point that Rollo doesn’t have a toned figure. Until I see the twst team crank out more official art of him, I’m of the belief that he at least AT LEAST had a toned figure. Ur telling me this man who had not problem walking up those stairs bc he be walking up those stairs on the (probable) regular. He a clean freak so you already know he’s cleaning in his free time, and idk about you but dusting, sweeping, mopping etc is tiring and this man probably does chores as a hobby. If nothing else I know he at least rocking with athlete legs cause ain’t no way my dude walking up flights of stairs as his leg day routine without gaining anything. And if twst taught us anything is that the ones who r the most covered usually got something to hide. But in all seriousness I imagine him to probably have a build that’s similar to Vil, on the skinnier side but toned. Also I desperately need his confirmed height, love, a Rollo enthusiast (I cannot lie his haircut is atrocious but u gotta admit he has a nice face )

I mean, I wouldn’t call Rollo “out of shape” either 😂 He definitely seems more physically fit than the Board Game Club noodles boys, who were both struggling to make it up the bell tower. (Azul kind of gets a pass on this, being that he normally doesn’t have legs.) Rollo has probably built up pretty solid legs due to his diligence in tending to the Bell of Salvation, always going up every day and no matter what the weather to polish it.

I don’t know about those chores translating into also having buff arm as well though 😅 (only because I personally know “clean freaks” that still have noodle arms). I’d think you’d have to be pretty rigorous about cleaning to actually develop muscles from it. The little peeks we see of his figure seems to imply a more slender frame…? Then again, maybe this isn’t entirely accurate given that Silver and Sebek’s arms got nerfed in their live 2D models compared to their card art… I don’t know, Rollo still looks pretty skinny in his official artwork (though it’s a little hard to tell because his sleeves become puffy at some point). The whole outfit gives the illusion of size and volume because of how much fabric there is.

“The ones who are the most covered usually have something to hide” 🫣 Damn, you’ve got me cuz that’s totally my type cbjsbsjsjss I guess that’s true of characters like Jade and Rook, but I’ve always interpreted that as like them wanting to hide their true nature and intentions rather than wanting to literally hide their bodies from view. I think the same is true of Rollo; he wants to conceal his pain and his crimson flower plot. (… This is me saying I don’t want to have another confused breakdown if TWST ever reveals that Rollo is secretly muscular because I already had enough distress when I learned that about Rook—)

About Rollo’s height 🤔 if we compare his model to those of other characters, he seems to be around the same height as… Rook (177cm or 5’8”)??? So he’s definitely decently tall. bcjsbsksnxks This is actually kind of a funny because someone I know said they’re shocked Rollo isn’t short. According to them, he has “short energy” because of all his rage which sounds like a mild jab at Riddle.

All jokes and Rollo bullying aside, I think he’s probably on the skinny/slim side but is also decently fit, just not to the extent of a super athletic character or a character that regularly goes out of their way to plan workouts. When I think of the word “toned”, I picture well defined muscles, which I think is definitely more true of his legs than of his upper body.

… Yes, his haircut is hella ugly but that’s okay because he makes up for it with the variety of facial expressions he makes 😌 Look at this face. Does this look like the face of a liar to you? The answer is yes it is and it’s hot

There was buzz going around that Elvis had a new girlfriend the press dubbing you as his "hippie girlfriend" because of the way you would dress instead the usual dress sometimes you would sport mens trousers and ties, so the press would have a field day with that. Not only that but how much taller you were compared to Elvis, it wasn't by much but even still they had a field day with that. Elvis never dated anyone taller than him they were usually shorter and very feminine, but there was something about you that took his breath away that made him break away from his usual choice of women. Not only did he think you were drop dead gorgeous, but he liked that you did your own thing and dressed the way you wanted and that you had an independent stride about you. It honestly was one of things that drew him to you because part of it reminded him of himself back in the 50's. Elvis hated the things they would sometimes say about you, but you would always tell him its okay. You knew he'd do anything to want to defend you, but you were a big girl and fully capable of defend yourself and you didn't really let it get to you. But still he was fuming over the way they spoke about you. "Sonsabitches.." he'd mumbled constantly when he read the paper.

A few days later you had flown with Elvis out to California because he had some business to take care of but before that he wanted to take his girl out on the town and spoil you the whole day. Once you got to his house on Perugia Way the both of you freshened up and you picked out a cute outfit to wear not knowing where he was taking you since he wanted to surprise you. You had decide on wearing something a bit more comfortable so you decided on a pair of mens trousers that you had altered a bit to fit your frame along with a flow dress shirt to match and then tying the whole thing together with a pair of high heels, which only added to your height. Then adding a few pieces of jewelry. Elvis was already downstairs waiting for you. "Baby, c'mon, we gotta go." he shouted up the stairs. "I'm coming!" you hummed before grabbing your purse and heading downstairs, he smiled warmly when he saw you and when you reached the bottom of the stairs he slipped his arm around your waist, leaning up to give you a kiss on the cheek. "You look beautiful." he mumbled. You blushed a bit at his words. "Thank you, honey." you whispered, placing a small kiss to his lips and feeling him grin against them as he took your hand and the two of you headed out.

He had sent the guys on their own way for the day so he was driving his car today, he opened the passenger door for you and you slipped inside and he shut the door closed before jogging over to his side and hopping in the car and he started up the car and headed down the small driveway as the two of you hit the town, he wanted to get something to eat first and had gotten a fancy restaurant in town to shut down just for a few hours so that the two of you could have it to yourselves without any interruptions as soon as he got there and had the car parked the two of you walked arm and arm together down Hollywood blvd, most of the time Elvis got lucky if he wasn't recognized because most of the people walking down the streets were either young kids or hippies who didn't even know who Elvis was which sometimes was a relief for him, but he also liked the attention which he would never admit. "Where are you taking me?" you said with a soft smile. "It's a surprise, the whole day is going to be filled with surprises for ya, honey." he grinned. You shook your head with a wide smile, he was so sweet and though you constantly told him he didn't have to do these things part of you was happy that he never listened to you and did it anyway.

As you were in mid conversation suddenly the two of you were swarmed with paparazzi and press and you felt Elvis wrap his arm around your waist and pulled you close as he did his best to not engage, he had a temper and sometimes if you caught him on the right day he'd lose it in an instant. As they continued to buzz around the two of you that's when they started making remarks about you and the way you were dressed and how tall you were. One of them uttering a something about you being on stilts. You rolled your eyes the ridiculous comment. Elvis was clenching his jaw and you felt his hand tighten around you. "Just ignore it, honey.. They're idiots." you whispered to him, seeing that he was ready to lose it. But all bets were off when another shouted, "I'd be embarrassed if she was my girlfriend!" Elvis turned so fast his eyes black with anger. "Which one of you goddamn sonsabitches said that!??" he yelled. "Elvis, please.." you said softly, tugging at his arm but he pulled his arm away from you, he was pissed. You let out a soft sigh. They all grew quiet. "What no one's got anythin' to say now??" he hissed.

You crossed your arms over your chest as you shook your head at him, he really did not need to do this. "Take this as a damn warnin', if I find the individual was who said that or who's been writing these things about my girl in the papers, I'll break your goddamn neck!" he hollered. The lot of them were stunned at this reaction from Elvis because no one outside of his personal life saw him ever get angry or lash out, but now they were getting a whole show of it and prompting them to back off a bit. "Now get the fuck outta here!" he hissed with anger, slipping his arm back around your waist and pulling you away with him as the vultures all stood back in shock and taking his warning serious. You were silent now as the two of you continued to walk and Elvis looked over at you. "What's the matter?" his tone a bit calmer as he began to come back down from his outburst.

"You didn't need to do that.." you mumbled. He stopped you and grabbed your waist to turn you to face him, placing his right index finger beneath your chin as the pad of his thumb brush lightly against it. "Listen, honey, I know you can take care of yourself and that this stuff doesn't bother you. But it bothers me.. I won't let anyone speak badly of you or say such rude things. I don't care who they are. You're my girl and you will be treated with respect and no matter what I'm going to defend my girl." he said softly, leaned up toward you to give you a kiss. You couldn't argue with his reasoning because if someone was saying things about him you'd want defend him as well. You nodded your head a bit. "I understand, baby, I do.. I just.-" he kissed you again. "Shh, lets not worry about that anymore.. I wanna spoil my baby now." he whispered on your lips. You smiled widely at his words, nodding. "Okay.." you mumbled on his lips. He grinned as he pulled away and took your hand in his as the two of you continued on your way. There was no doubt in your mind that he truly cared for you and didn't care how different you were that's what he loved the most.

I am on the site ur on babe. I stayed even after hopping on over to OJ and I can say the vibes are 10/10 over on OJ when comparing both. Love both sites but this isn't cute and gives a bad rep to UP (cause it only makes sense that this is the site you are on)  that their members are over here tearing down another site and it's memebers. And with the recent rewatch of clips and my own sleepless nights, it only seems fitting. One of theses days I gotta stop traumatizing my OCs I swear 😂 BUT NOT TODAY!

~Flashback~

In the early morning air, the coldest temperature would bring the cozy atmosphere within small home. It was pouring outside, which made everything feel more colder than expected. It's been 2 weeks since the daring adventure and their wild saves.

It was good. In two weeks they were gonna be going to a ball, dancing and drinking the night away.

But the couple wasn't in peace, yet. They couldn't quite get a good deal of sleep.

She stood in front of the bathroom mirror, her hands rested on the sink behind her as she let out a sigh. Her sleeping curse was gone but still, she held nightmares of being trapped in a blackened room filled with deep fire, no windows or doors, just a narrow hallway.

Side effects of the sleeping curse.

She was in her thoughts when a pair of arms wrapped behind her humming and kissed her shoulder. She smiled tiredly, leaning into his chest and kissed his cheeks.

Nicholas has known about Amelia's nightmares for a while now, cursing his brother and that stupid curse, as he tried to calm her worries. He had his own nightmares. Dark thoughts and fears in those nightmares, he didn't care to admit, yet he knew that she knew about them. As she would hush his worries, let him cuddle in her arms and just listen even if he didn’t reveal everything.

He breath her in natural scent and sighed, pressing kisses to her hair as he said, "I got an idea."

"I am not staying up again until midnight." She joked looking over her shoulder, pressing the dark bangs out of his face.

"No, I mean, it could work. My mother, she used to light a candle, telling me they catch the nightmares and let the person.."

"..sleep in peace. My mother used that trick with my father during the Ogre wars. Do you think it will work?"

"Let's hope..if not, we can always take a few shots and wish our troubles away."

"You're hilarious."

The two of them headed back to the cozy atmosphere of their bedroom, as Mia lit a candles for the both of them. She knew her fiancé tends to have nightmares of his own, despite him not voicing them, so she decided it was a fair gift.

It was silent agreement to do this for a couple of days at a time, in hope of making their nightmare turn into forgotten memories.

He rested his head on his pillow watching her lighting the candle next to the nightstand, then nuzzling in bed beside him. The warm of the covers and bright light of the tiny fire brought a gentleness in the air. A comforting feeling to whip away the fears.

Two candles to catch the nightmares, as they fell back to sleep...

..she shot up, awaken from the slumber after that nasty fall. Liane groaned rubbing her shoulder, looking over to find the teens, Nikolai and Jeremy surrounding her.

They weren't in the town hall anymore, but in The Enchanted Forest.

Jeremy was awake already, rubbing his neck from the hall trying to awaken his friends.

"Alright get up." Jeremy said, shaking them awake as the teens groaned and muttered 'let us sleep', "You two can sleep once we return home."

That caught Bella and Joshua's attention, waking up and looking around at the sight around them. Bella was silent drinking the world she just entered as Joshua said, "..uh, didn't Cole say that the forest was a wasteland? This doesn't look like one."

"Aye. Whatever we are, my husband lied about it, and we need to get out of here soon." Jeremy respond, helping them stand.

Liane puffed up her purple collar, following the four of them, keeping an eye on the kids. Nikolai asked if the others were okay, telling them that they needed to find shelter and a plan to get home quick. He also knew that their spouses are going to kill 'em! He led the path, pushing past a few bushes and trees in awe of the forest.

It was greener than he last remembered, yet some leaves were dry and rougher than others. It made the path look bleak. And foggy, despite the sunlight shining through the trees. Jeremy chuckled soaking in the bushing and semi-fresh land, meanwhile Liane touch the trees and snapped her fingers as it evoked magic from her palm.

Bella slump the book that was inside her backpack taken back by all the greens and dry oranges that filled her eyes. She read the book, or least the chapters that mattered to her, but she never expected to appear inside the words of the book itself. It was a wonder.

However she felt an off priming subject within their surroundings. Joshua felt it too, a hollow feeling he knew all too well, the forest felt alone and quiet.

Too quiet for their ears.

Joshua has spent his years alone, on the run and trying to adjust to figuring out who he was. He knew the hollow feeling, the quietness and hard times that follow behind it. All those sleepless nights, he was always told he was different and misunderstood. And when he thought he found some kind of peace, he was thrown into a world wind of situations such as this one.

He liked to think he doesn't need anyone, that he can figure out things on his own, because that's all he ever known.

But standing here in the woods, he feels less confident, unsure to admit it or not. He was only in this world for not even an hour before he was sent away in hopes to protect him from the curse.

"Up ahead! A pot of land." Jeremy shouted taking the young boy out of his thoughts.

"You sure it's safe?" Bella asked, following her uncle.

"Half of this land is dead, so it's the best thing at the moment."

"Doesn't sound promising."

"Hey, I'm trying here."

"Whatever you say."

Bella looped her arm around Joshua, telling him to pick up the pace as they followed the adults. Nikolai could tell his son wasn't in the best shape, it concerned him. Hell, he could tell his niece wasn't either. Like something was bother her, yet she refused to admit what it was. Liane was in a daze, rubbing her shoulders as her eyes fell on her daughter trying to ponder what was going on in her mind.

Nikolai bumped the blonde's shoulder and asked, "You alright?"

"Define alright.." She replied with a light smile.

"Well you woke up from a sleeping curse a while back and now we're stuck in the forest after a nasty fall from the hat."

"Yeah, right..the curse, not proud of it. Wh-when we fell and I was knocked out cold, I was dreaming..and now I'm awake."

"Uh, that's how sleeping works."

"Funny. I'm serious, I was dreaming but it was a weird one, like I was in a room and then..the corners were on fire. But not my fire.."

"Ooh. I see, it wasn't a dream..acted like a nightmare."

"Y-yeah! It turned into a nightmare, I was in this happy colorful room and then poof fire! Wa-wait, how did you..?"

"It's the side effects of the sleeping curse, it goes away with time. Mia had it..I once had it."

"Oh. Damn..when does it go away?"

"Depends on the person. It took Mia months, meanwhile it took me weeks."

Liane nodded silently remembering a certain redheaded princess she put under a sleeping curse and whines in embarrassment at the thought. Nikolai noticed the look on her face and sighed, knowing this must've been karma for the blonde.

Soon enough, they took shelter at the pot of land, which appeared to be an old campsite. They found swords laying around, pieces of clothes hanging on clothes line, bow and arrows and even a few dead bodies. Some were just their skeletons.

"Gross." Liane muttered stepping accidentally on a meatless hand, cracking a bone.

"Cool." Bella added with a smirk, earning a glare from her mother removing a scarf from the clothes line.

Joshua plucked a sword from the dead guy on the ground and grinned, "Sweet. You think he got money too on him?"

Liane gasped in disgust, "Ah no! Yuck, put that down. Both of you!"

"Not a chance." Bella said finding a satchel on the ground too.

Jeremy smirked holding back at his laugh at Liane's facial expressions while the kids collected items. Nikolai noticed there were no food nor water nearby, deciding him and Jeremy would go out to get some. Joshua perked up, wanting to go to but his father said otherwise.

"I'm not a kid, you know." Josh muttered standing up from the ground, lazily flipping the sword.

"You're 16 and somewhere you don't know. Think again." Nikolai responded before walking over.

"Hey! I can handle this, it's a walk."

"I know that but I need someone to watch the girls."

"Then have Jeremy do it."

"Not when Liane is dazed and Bella is barely talking. I need you to do this for me."

"Bella can handle herself. And so can-"

"Joshua Christopher Nolan, that's enough. You stay here."

That seemed to silence the young brunette, having never heard his full name before until now. He nodded then walked back to his post, sitting on one of the benches watching Liane rest and Bella examine the items she found. Joshua noticed Bella giving him a small squeeze on his shoulder, a little stunned herself.

With that men walked out of the campsite without saying a word. Jeremy had a lot on his mind but he knew he had to say something, even if it sounded humorous.

So, after a moment, the blonde spoke.

Jeremy looked over his shoulder as he followed his oldest friend saying, "That was harsh."

"He kept pushing." Nikolai replied with a sour look on his face, but his friend could tell something was deeper than that.

"And? Look, Nik, we're all stressed here but he wanted to help."

"He is helping. He's watching over the girls. I need him to watch over the girls while we get supplies."

"Why? More hands could be a lot more helpful."

"BECAUS—because, I need him safe. I know theses woods, anything can help and I can't return home knowing he let him get hurt."

"He—Joshua has lived without you for years, he won't..w-what is going on?"

"I lost him twice already, man..I won't let it happen again."

"The first time wasn't your fault."

"And the second time?"

"Nik.."

"Sorry. I don't want to fail as a father..like I failed as his friend."

Jeremy gave Nikolai a smile that said 'you won't'. His friend half smile at that, still feeling the weight over his shoulders but kept moving forward. Hell, Jeremy was trying to balance his feelings here, his niece and nephew were here, basically unskilled and his husband was back in their world probably freaking the heck out.

Better yet, drinking until he returned.

With the two adults gone, leaving one dazed and half alert, Bella was secretly losing it. Her mother was in and out of sleep, tired and a little dizzy, and Bella blames herself. If she hadn't told her to go to the diner, she wouldn't have ended up in the hospital in a small coma, under a sleeping curse.

Liane was still in her daze having tried not to fall asleep once again, but failed to do so. She was napping instead meanwhile Bella and Joshua were on watch time. It wasn't so bad.

The two friends chatted a bit, letting the other know what was going on in their heads. Bella admired how stiff her friend was acting, as she fit just as out of place as he was. However she was more in awe of the wonders in the land.

It was way different than the books.

She lean against the tree and said, "It feels like a dream..."

"Seriously?" Joshua asked with humor in his tone, holding down his gun for safety reason.

"Well yeah. Let's face it, I would have liked it in a different circumstances but still..you don't seem that excited."

"I..I am. It's cool, but we're out of our wheelhouse here, Belle..what if we don't make it back in time."

"In time for what?"

"I don't know. Maybe something weird happens in the town and we're not there to see it."

"That's what our parents and uncles..and well, aunts are there for. We just need to keep a level head."

Joshua smiled at that, "Yeah, you're right, it would be nice to see the ponds and forest life here..or visit the lake our parents escaped in once."

"You read the book?" Bella replied jokingly around a bit, "I thought you said you don't read."

"Maybe I read a little..and the book was right about one thing."

"And what would that be?"

"Our parents being protective and..a little dramatic."

He pointed over to Liane half asleep with her face on the wooden table, snoring away flinching her nose a bit and humming a tune. She was sorta humming Taylor Swift in her sleep. That cause Bella to snort and quietly chuckle.

"Yeah you're right about that.." Bella responded but was cut off mid-breathe as the tip of a sword rested against her neck.

Her eyes darted to the fair blonde women with a floral headband, blonde locks, a ashy blue dress and a dark lavender coat to match.

Joshua's eye widen in shock as he raised his hand held gun and scoffed, "Lay down your the sword, now."

His eyes whipped around to notice anyone else came along, catching the eye on a figure rushing behind him over to the benches. The figure carried herself was grace and pondering eyes, dark red hair and a sliver lined skirt to add to her look. She held in her hand a dagger inching over to them.

"Not another step." Joshua declared, darting his gun between both the blonde and redhead.

The redhead scoffed, facing her dagger in front of the brunette as she held a smirk. But her eyes were fixed on Liane.

after a tough day of contributing absolutely nothing to the greater good of society, jay decides to do what men like him choose to do to relieve stress: by playing a high-stress game.

what he wasn't expecting, though, was to get a snarky partner who would actually reciprocate his angry chats (as a result of his bad temper) and shit-talk him back. like what they're doing right now.

jay was pissed. there's no way he's losing this duo match. it's down to three teams and he can't risk losing more points for his rank when he's so close to reaching crown four, so he breathes in and out, trying his utmost best not to let the arrogant demeanor of his partner get on all of his nerves. notursniper heals him and fends off two players while he heals, leaving just one more team.

impulsive by nature, jay taps a few times and gets so close to removing user notursniper as their pubg friend but he hums in thought. having a higher rank meant having more skilled enemies and he's never seemed to get past top 40 players without dying, so it was a miracle he got until the top 2 tonight. his teammate's shit-talking aside, he'd say they were actually really good.

"what?" his own intrusive thoughts snaps him back to the real world, to see that she actually removed him as an in-game friend. what the fuck? in a span of panic, he tried to add them again. 

a few days pass by but alas, no response from her. jay does not know why he's itching to check on his phone every now and then. heeseung and sunghoon don't even want to question why he's been staring at phone with his brows furrowed for hours now.

it's only because they're a good player and they can help me rank up. that's it. 

soon enough, jay's routine has become waking up, going to school, and checking if user notursniper has accepted his request at every waking second of the day. the same goes for the following morning when jay anxiously opens the game again and finds one new message from a friend.

Xdinary Heroes in Hogwarts

So as some of you may know I love Harry Potter, Ive grown up with it and recently I found out Gaon likes Harry Potter as well... I also saw the pics from the fansign. So obviously I had to place the others in hogwarts. Here is what I think each house the members would be in and how they would be in Hogwarts!

He'd probably be a prefect too

He's also the star of quiditch

He's answering every question thrown at him

I think he would possibly be a half blood

So he has experience in the muggle world

I was wondering you had any thoughts on why Troy was like.. so upfront with Madison in 3.15 about being the one to lead the horde and how he doesn't feel bad and he'd do it all over again (or something like that, I forget his actual words) bc I'm like is he dumb 😭 did he think Madison would somehow not care? (I guess so, bc he does start saying how Madison gets it or something like that)

I've always (always as in for the last three months bc that's when I first watched the show..) been like why would he not at least pretend to feel bad and regret it? I guess he's just really that deep in whatever bs his dad fed him to make be Like That idk

I feel like I mildly get it but also I can't wrap my head around it at the same time, at least not well enough to put into words so I thought you might have something to say about it :)

Ok. So. Listen. Listen That scene, omg, that scene. I knew something bad was coming since I have been warned by a kind fan beforehand. I knew it had to do with Madison and once he started his confession I was all "NOOOO" but also "ok this is it, he's done for". But also, I… had difficulty finding an in-world motivation/explanation for his behavior in that scene for some time. I mean, it kinda seemed to me more like the writers deciding "Troy's gotta go" than it being a natural conclusion from… what has been going on in the show. Especially how… unreceptive to Madison's clear discomfort he was during his confession. How he did not read the room. He appears pretty perceptive normally, so I didn't quite get that. It was like he was shouting "KILL ME ALREADY" (which, I mean, I still think he low-key had a deathwish through all of s3, so…it kinda fits?). Itt was, as you said, dumb of him. Very dumb and it made me a bit angry (ask me sometime about Troy's very fluctuating uh abilities. Like when they (writers) need him to, he's like the most clever person and than other times he's so dumb. What's that about… (I mean, I kinda explain this away by uh seeing ftwd as from the POV of the Clarks. We don't really get into Troy's head, but we kinda do know what the Clarks are thinking… so maybe that's just their view of him, and yes that could explain it. Sorry went off on a tangent there…) Also, about pretending to feel bad - I don't think he would have. He.. doesn't seem like the type to put effort into hiding his emotions or making them palatable for others. But, you know, he could've just not said anything. That would've saved him (for the moment, no one's to say he wouldn't have fucked up later on 😂 It's Troy, he's just learning to be a human). Anyway, for a long time I just chalked Troy being dump up to 'he needed to die so that's what the writers came up with, whatever'. And didn't spend too much time on that. But then I wanted to use this moment in one of my fanfics and well… I had to make sense of what he was doing not by explaining it away with the writers but with Troy's own motivation. Get into his head in this moment after all... And I hope it's ok if I just quote the relevant part here.

Troy felt relieved when he heard Madison asked, “Why would Daniel want to kill Troy?” This was it, he was sure of it. This was the missing piece to get back into step with Madison. Because even though she’d just told him “we’re good” he knew they weren’t. He had sensed her trepidation in her ingenious smile, in the hesitation in her voice. And now he was sure it was because he was still keeping a secret from her. A secret that only become one because of Nick, because he had followed Nick’s lead on this. And he hadn’t minded, understood that Nick rather not tell his sister Jake died partly because of him… But now he couldn’t keep quiet anymore. Not if it talking could mean that it would bring Madison and him close together again. Not if it meant it could again be as it was, before, between Madison and him. And yes, their conversation got heated once he admitted what he’d done. He should’ve expected that but he was too caught up in it. In trying to explain himself, in trying to rush to go where they’d been before. He should’ve given her more time to process… he knew she would’ve, eventually. She understood him. They were the same – and that was what he was trying to tell her, remind her of, however clumsily. “I’d do it all again,” he implored her, trying to make her see, “All of it, Madison.”

So, as you can see, I don't think he thought Madison wouldn't care - it was worse than that. He thought she would… well almost like thank him for it. Not for what he did but for saying it. And I do think he really thought she'd get it. He thought this would show her their similarities, remind her of it again (and maybe it did, and maybe *that's* why she killed him (or not killed as we now know)). He thought it would bring them closer together. He thought he'd found his people with Madison and Nick, those who could understand him, tolerate him (maybe even be thankful for his existence). But he badly misjudged and he realized too late. And you know, now that I'm writing this out… I remember back to the ask about Troy's expression in his moments of imminent death and how it looked to me, among other things, like there was acceptance there. If it was, maybe he realized that Madison killing him is kinda proof of what he said to her, the "And you would, too, I know you would." Because she kinda did, didn't she.
