I get what you mean but I still don't think that's the case - again, as evidence, in this very same episode, with the Truth Eye, she sees Li Lun as himself in his demon garb, despite him possessing a human man wearing normal clothing. So from a Watsonian perspective, I think it's pretty clear that the Truth Eye is meant to ignore whatever you have dressed yourself in (be that clothing, or the human body you are riding around in) and simply show your true essence. Otherwise, if Zhao Yuanzhou's clothing was a glamour and changed according to whether he was seen as human form or demon form, the truth eye would have shown us Li Lun wearing the Chongwu Camp soldier's non-glamoured clothing.
From a Doylist perspective, I don't think they really thought about the implications from a "hey, what might this imply about the nature of Zhao Yuanzhou's clothing?" standpoint.
(For further evidence, when he loses control and goes full demon-look under the blood moon in eps 16/17, his clothing doesn't change then. It's only under the influence of the Truth Eye that she sees him in demon robes... because it's showing her a vision of his true form.
And when he uses up all of his demon power to reforge the sword, his clothing doesn't revert to demon robes/cobwebs etc in the absence of his demonic power)
When Li Lun gives Wen Xiao truth eyes, she sees Zhu Yan like this:

And then when he removes it:

Which actually suggests that his clothes aren't real, they're some sort of glamour. I guess he's not keeping an entire team of embroiderers in business. The garment industry only has ZYC to keep it afloat

Ok now. Watching fangs of fortune and saying the plot is weak is like reading poetry and saying the plot is weak! It’s a feature not a bug, and it’ll sweep you up if you let it!!

I dunno though, those clothes slice through just fine with the power from the Cloud Light Sword in episode 17. It's possible Zhao Yuanzhou can/would adjust his glamour-clothing to account for e.g. the slicing wave of power that would have cut open normal clothes but I'm not sure he was in any fit mental state at the time to be thinking about doing something like that?
I've always thought it was more that the Truth Eye sees through whatever you have clothed yourself in (both your human skin/appearance and your human clothes) to show the essence of the true you. Which is why e.g. when Li Lun first uses the Truth Eye on Wen Xiao, she sees him in his bare-chested demon outfit, wreathed in smoke, rather than seeing him in the clothing of the Chongwu Camp soldier he was possessing (and the Chongwu Camp guy was definitely a normal human wearing normal human clothes).
So fear not! Tiandu's garment industry is not under threat! 😁

Something I keep thinking about regarding Bai Jiu's death is that he was a thirteen year old who died completely alone. (One day I'll write a longer meta about deaths in Fangs, but it's not this day. Today I'm thinking about the timid kid who believed in someone so much that he braved horrible pain and paid the ultimate price, and no one was there to see him off. Not even ZYC's illusion.)

If there is one thing humans and demons can agree on is that Demon Daddy is the most stabbable being in the universe. Everyone and their mothers (including himself) want to kill him and have a piece of him.

But he is saving himself for his one true love killer and said killer is becoming increasingly possessive of him as well.

Why don't you scream "he is MINE", already? You know you want to.

I find it charming how Fangs of Fortune cleverly uses songs to add subtext. Words that aren't spoken out loud by the characters themselves often, by lucky coincidence 🌚, are heard in the lyrics at that moment.
