If a woman superhero CHOOSES to wear stilettos to fight crime, that’s girl power! This comic character written and designed by men wears a bikini and has a waist size of 12 inches because it makes her FEEL POWERFUL! Girls don’t HAVE to dress boyish to be strong! She can make you a sandwich AND be a feminist! Girl power!

What, are you saying women HAVE to do boy things to be taken seriously? Who are you to tell a woman what to do? Maybe some women NEED to get their hair and nails done twice a month to feel powerful! Maybe a lot of women WANT to be stay-at-home moms!

What I don’t think you understand is that women have an inherent feminine spirituality which guides them towards maternal and nurturing paths. Women need to honour their divine female aura to keep their. Their fuckin. Their chakras together or some shit. You should put quartz up your hooha and huff wheatgrass. Leaving manual labour and science and technology to men is natural and good for you spiritually

ongoing joke of my little sister asking every time I do a BNHA design when I’m going to redesign him.

perv anime gag character trope sucks and im mad it robbed me of a Little Guy.

he has a lot of features I like in other characters (funky design, somewhat goofy quirk which he makes work by being clever about it).

I genuinely think he could have been good rep un ironically why did he have to be like that :((.

i am still quite in shock that this manga is actually over…it consumed my brain a long time ago and made me feel so many things about its characters and mineta in particular. no matter how questionable the ending was or how bad the last couple of arcs were, it still held me captive until the very end! i'm glad i've got into fandom and have found a lot of cool people under mineta's tag! i just want to say a big thank you to all of you guys, it was and still is a pleasure to see your posts, art and fics about him and i hope it continues on!

@mineta-minoru-is-baby, thanks to you for being one of the most active people under the tag and basically introdusing me to minoru's character ages ago (it's still crazy to think about)

sometimes i wonder how all people who are around minoru see him. like, how will they remember him after a graduaton and when they go separate ways? will he stay just "a little perverted classmate who we used to hang out with sometimes" forever?

i want to think about it more, because, come on. they won't be that close as now forever...that's just a part of growing up that i don't see represented often now

anyway, random thing for an au i like to think about!! i really like to wonder, how mineta's going to feel after graduating ua and seeing all of his friends being cool and being the heroes of their dreams, while he is, well...mineta.

Look below at how, when Mineta told AFO to spare Tokoyami, AFO specifically went "..."

He remembers Jirou and thinks, The braying howls of the weak...

He was going to take Tokoyami's Quirk. He took Hawks'. But after Mineta pleaded with him, AFO just straight-up left and didn't take anyone else's Quirk.

AFO saw Yoichi in Mineta.

These scenes are near-identical to each other.

Mineta and Yoichi (at that time) are both much smaller than the normal person at their age

They're both hurt, yet dragged themselves up from the ground to throw something at AFO, to get his attention and make their voice

Both are considered weak, even if they have a Quirk (Mineta's Pop-Off and Yoichi's undeveloped Factor)

The fact that Yoichi got AFO's attention here by throwing a can at him, while Mineta got his attention by throwing a Pop-Off ball; and it stuck.

Mineta's call for his attention landed and actually stuck to AFO. This is unlike when Yoichi and his can bounced off, and AFO kicked him, not listening to him; AFO listened to Mineta and left Tokoyami alone, technically doing what Mineta wanted—to not hurt this person.

AFO just went on to hurt more people away from Mineta's [Yoichi's] eyes so the small weakling wouldn't see.

Yoichi and Mineta both cried to AFO to not hurt in his ways, when AFO was intent on stealing people's Quirks

AFO even stole Hawks' Quirk during this time.

He had time to steal Hawks' Quirk, and though he could've tossed him to the side, he let Hawks stand in his way.

He had the energy. Right after this event, he flew off and left the scene. But he didn't go for Tokoyami immediately.

And this let Mineta play his part, and remind AFO of Yoichi.

"A putrid, festering Quirk Factor."

That sounds like Yoichi, AFO.

This chapter (385) where AFO listens to Mineta is literally called [A Youthful Urge].

Mineta told AFO to take his Pop-Off (hurt him) instead. But last time, AFO hurt Yoichi by kicking him; this time, AFO not only listened to Mineta to not hurt Tokoyami, but didn't touch Mineta at all.

Even though this time, Mineta [Yoichi] offered to take that place of suffering.

Yoichi didn't do that back then. AFO just turned on little Yoichi anyway.

Yoichi through his whole existence is literally [the braying howls of the weak]. AFO acknowledges he's weak and idealistic, yet he still loves him.

Side note about this panel, I think it's interesting that in this vision, this was the first time we saw Yoichi's eyes: when he was being defiant, despite being pushed down by someone much stronger than him.

Really characteristic of him, honestly. Yoichi's soft-spoken and frail, but it's always reiterated that Yoichi had a powerful will against his stronger big brother.

Mineta at this moment reminded him too much of Yoichi, because the two scenes are near-identical to each other. Parallels, really.

Today is the day when all the hope for at least a semi-safe future I had in me just got annihilated. At the moment, living in Russia is just dangerous, especially if you are against of army invading Ukraine and now it's even worse. The majority of queer people do not support our goverement's actions already, so the Kremlin will try to convince all people that only "perverts" who do not like "traditional values" are against the war. Besides, every person can be accused as "extremist" for being activist who doesn't follow the commom idea. Being LGBTQ+ is a crime now at all levels of law and being.

It all leads to the same: the invasion of Ukraine must be stopped. Support Ukraine in the first place and you will support everyone. No need to sympathise with us - we will survive, because we are still relatively safe. But people of Ukraine are dying every day. It's much more important.

so, today we, russian queers, may become "extremists" by decision of russian supreme court and thus our existence will be silenced and erased. any queer activism will be impossible for us. I don't know what to do anymore. I was heartbroken when they passed the laws about "gay propaganda" and transgender people, now I'm just numb. I don't want to escape. I just want to live safely in my own country.

At some point, I will make a post that explains how Ochako and Mineta parallel each other when it comes to their thoughts/feelings towards Izuku and I will 100% sound completely fucking insane when I do but the parallels are there (purposefully) and I cannot ignore it any longer… like this goes all the way back to the final exams…
