Pedri’s eyebrows furrow even further at that, as if silently asking you to elaborate, and without much convincing, you do exactly that, unable to look away from him. His brown eyes in the sunlight are enough to put you in a literal trance.

You had saw a shark video on your feed, and that was enough to make you go into a full-blown rant, talking about how fascinating they were and what else they could do. If there was one thing he loved about you, it was your passion for specific things.

He could listen to you talk about whatever you were interested in for hours and hours on end and would have absolutely no problem with it.

While you continued, you couldn’t help but notice how he rubbed his eyes and moved in front of you. It didn’t help that you kept moving, talking animatedly about what you had just brought up.

Of course, Pedri couldn’t and probably wouldn’t bring it up to you—not when you had that big smile on your face. Though you’d catch on eventually. Despite the sunlight literally blinding him, he still gazed up at you with the same loving expression he always wore. All the time. Always.

Slowly, you trailed off and tilted your head, the smile on your face widening. “Pedri, really?”

He blinks, “Huh, what? Why’d you stop?”

“You could’ve told me to move,” you paused, moving to sit down beside him. He turned toward you quickly, silently thankful for the change in position. “The sun is shining right in your face.”

“I know, but why would I do that? You’re talking.”

A blush spread across your cheeks, and you averted your gaze. “You don’t have to look at me when I talk. I don’t want your eyes to hurt.”

“You looked beautiful, though,” the brunette proclaimed, his eyes narrowing just a bit in a way that did nothing to ease how flushed you were.

“God, you’re so corny.” You loved it, and he knew.

“C’mon, that place you wanted to go to closes soon. We should go.” With that, he rises to his feet and offers his hand, a small smile still present on his face. “Will you start where you left off?”
