@shadowsingercassia, thank you so much for the tag. i loved doing this! 🫶🏻
1. How many words did you publish on AO3 in 2024?
none, actually! i don't have an account on ao3 and i think the website it's complicated for me.
2. How many fics have you completed this year?
15! which is literally all my fics since i only started posting since may.
3. How many in progress or ongoing fics did you start did year?
honestly, i don't even know. ongoing, i think it's about two or maybe three. on progress? that's the million dollar question, i have this problem where i start writing new things before even finishing the others that i already started. i have too many (5x) fics on my drafts.
4. What was your favorite thing you wrote?
without a doubt, never yours and only in my dreams. these fics are sooo different from each other, but i absolutely loved the process of writing them, i think it was when i felt the most motived.
5. What piece was your most experimental or different from your usual style?
i will have to say, tears in pages. it was the most challenging fic i ever wrote and it's different from the others. it was also the one where i had to force myself to stop, otherwise it would be a book and not a fic.
6. Did any fics surprise you - either while writing or their reception?
only in my dreams!!! in both ways, actually. when i started writing it that was not the original plot, the ideas just came to me while i was writing and the development that came after too. also, when i posted, i was shocked to see how many people liked it and requested for a part two. it was one of the best moments i had here.
7. Do you have a fic you wrote and loved that went under the radar? (This is your sign to reblog/repost it!)
yessss! tears in pages and echoes of the past, i loved writing them because of how different they are from all of my other works and it made me a little upset when i saw they didn't get the same attention as the others, especially tears in pages, i really loved that one.
8. Who is an artist that inspired you?
most of my time here is spend on fics, so, i don't really know many artists but i love @cafekitsune dividers. they're so good that i use them all for my fics and page. they're really amazing.
9. Who is an author that inspired you?
@daycourtofficial was the first page i found here. i literally read all her fics in one night. they're so good, the plot, the writing, truly amazing. before i start writing, i asked for some advices (anonymously at the time because i was too shy) and they helped me so much and gave the courage to post and it's one of the best decisions i ever made. so, thank you 🫶🏻.
@azsazz was the second page i found and i also read all of the fics in a space of hours. the amount of spam i must have given, my god. i loved the creativity and how she managed to explore so different ideas and worlds. i was so captivated by the majority of them, so good.
i'm always looking out for your new fics, and both of your pages are some of the ones i always come back to read and reread. 🥰
10. Who is a new author you discovered?
@itsswritten, absolutely amazing, i love all the fics, especially the wings universe. it's so magical.
@writingcroissant, i could read those fics over and over and over again, completely amazing.
11. Did you do any collaborations? How did i start?
i have not.
12. What accomplishments are you proudest of?
that i found my courage to post and share my ideas and writing. i was so nervous at the begin and now it's one of my favorites things to do. i just wish i had started sooner.
13. What did you learn about writing or creating this year?
that it can be a safe space, we can do it just for fun and enjoy it. we can share our own art and support the art of others as well.
14. What is your advice?
believe in yourself - it's the best advice i've been given.
15. What are your creative goals for 2025?
try to finish those fics i've already started without starting new ones (oops) and try to get them out of my drafts. also, improving my writing, i feel like it already had some improving but it's not quite where i want it yet.
no pressure tags: @daycourtofficial @azsazz @itsswritten and anyone else who wants to do this!
Answer and then tag three or more creators to keep the game going!
Thank you so much @velarisdusk for the tag! 🫶🏻
1. How many words did you publish on AO3 in 2024?
I don't have anything published on AO3 simply because I still don't know how to use it even though I do have an account. But here on tumblr, it's 92.878
2. How many fics did you complete this year?
49! I've never counted them before and never realized just how many they were omg
3. How many in progress or ongoing fics did you start this year?
Ongoing only Bound By Secrets. In progress apparently 10? I thought I had 3 WIPs. I completely forgot about the other 7 lol
4. What was your favorite thing you wrote?
UGH how do I choose one? A Helping Hand has a special place in my heart because it's the first fic I wrote and posted. Night and Days is one of my favorites because I love the banter between Azriel and reader, and I also have to mention Say My Name because omg I loved writing that one and I know I might be biased but I was giggling and kicking my feet while writing.
5. What piece was your most experimental or different from your usual style?
I'd say the first few things I wrote rather than one in particular for the simple reason that in Italian I tend to write very long sentences because it's normal, but in English sentences are usually shorter so it took a bit to get into that mindset. As for experimental, I'm trying to write a fic from two povs at the same time, sort of like an omniscient narrator. We'll see how it turns out.
6. Did any fics surprise you - either while writing or their reception?
Many fics surprise me while writing because I don't plan them out that much other than a few things I want to happen and then I see where the story leads me. As for reception, Bound by Secrets. I didn't expect so many people asking for a part 2! (I'll write it, I promise)
7. Do you have a fic you wrote and loved that went under the radar? (This is your sign to reblog/repost it!)
The Path To Healing and on a happier (and smutty) note Alcohol and Giggles. I cried writing the first one and laughed writing the second one.
8. Who is an artist that inspired you?
I love every single fanart by madschofield and elizianna.the.one!
9. Who is an author that inspired you?
@writingcroissant was the first author I found on here, the literal reason I created an account was to read her fics, and @illyrianbitch was the second. I love everything they write and it made me want to write again.
10. Who is a new author you discovered?
@shedoessoshedoes and @duskandcobalt! I'm going to read all of your fics so don't be surprised if you see me in your notifications for the next few weeks 🥰
11. Did you do any collaborations? How did it start
Nope, no collaborations.
12. What accomplishments are you proudest of?
Kinktober! I decided to do it two weeks before it started and didn't think I'd be able to write all 31 one fics but I did it!
13. What did you learn about writing or creating this year?
When I started posting, I kept opening tumblr every five minutes to see if there were any new notes/comments/etc. Now I don't do that anymore. I still care about people enjoying my content of course and any kind of feedback is always super appreciated, but I don't need to continuously check to know that my writing is valid and good even if I get only a few likes.
14. What is your advice?
I'm the wrong person to ask this to, but I guess write what you like and what you want to read. I know it's basic, but never before I realized just how true it is. Feedback and appreciation for your work is awesome, but you have to be the first one to like it or it's probably going to turn out bland if you push yourself to write something you don't like or are not interested in.
15. What are your creative goals for 2025?
Finish working on all those WIPs apparently lol. And I have an idea for a series that I want to work on as well.
No pressure of course, but if you'd like to @azrielslittleslut @anarchiii @shedoessoshedoes or anyone else who wants to do it!

Linktober Day 8. Tunic
#linktober#linktober 2024#the legend of zelda#wind waker#ocarina of time#loz#loz ww#loz oot#link#josh art tag#had a lot of fun with this one despite how annoying it was to draw#oot link was at a difficult angle and i also just could not shade this for the life of me. restarted the shading like 3 times#i think im reaching that point in the cycle i typically go thru with my artstylr where ive grown tired of my shading style#to the point that i forget how to do it and it never quite looks right#so if my next post features changes to my artstyle thats why lol#but i enjoyed making this despite that cuz i like the ideas behind it!#i normally wouldve redesigned ww!link's outfit but i purposefully drew it accurately#to highlight how its more like a costume. cuz thats kinda what it was! and its modeled after the hero of times clothes#but is pretty innacurate. which i think is cool.. shows how much time has passed and how the view of the hero of time has warped#so i also purposefully made oot link wearing my redesigned outfit for him (even if you cant see much of it at this angle)#to further emphasize how ww!link's outfit is not only essentially a costume but is also quite innacurate#i like having ww!link ditch the costume for something else to show how he stops being some kid in oot!link's shadow#and grows into a true hero of his own#hence my ww!link redesign where i put him back in the lobster shirt. but i do keep some green and something similar to the hat#to have him fit in with the other links while still being unique#look i have a lot of feelings about ww!link and oot!link#i wish zelda would do more stuff like this... i think having oot relate to wind waker makes the story more interesting#and makes ww!link more interesting! cuz he cant be the hero of time they want. but he does become the real hero they need#the oot ww tp trio is so good... and they all work great as standalone games but their connections do really add something

more phoenix wright situations
#ace attorney tag#maybe i should tag this narumitsu or something. but i dont really care.#gearing up to rereading/illustrating bits of my fic i suppose...i think nick really is too dense to realise he's in love with edgeworth#without some scheming fop trying to intrude. i love villains like kristoph..villains can be fun..witnessing their pathetic folly..#or more like edgeworth would never have mentioned his feelings ever in his life if he wasn't sure phoenix reciprocates.#i want to see it this way because Falling in love during childhood with the person you're going to end up with. is not relatable#there have to be Situations that make you Realise.#as with orufrey i adore the idea of people not working out their romance with that person until their 30s+#but... i mean. even with orufrey i often think how alaira could be qifrey's ex. and oru having been pursued by noble fops through his work#there is that delicate sliver of time before orufrey start living together that such believable situations could have happened.#Then the relief of politely and amicably extricating themselves from those untenable situations#the idea of falling in love age 7 and saving your first kiss for age 35 or something is all very well but more relatable is#people realising how they really feel whilst trying something that ends up feeling wrong.#The comfort and joy of living with your dearest one as if it's platonic - much preferable to trying anything more with anyone else.#But i doubt i will ever portray that or mention it further. it is indeed very delicate to me.#and i really am an OTP FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kind of person who can barely bear to consider this anyway...NOT a polyshipper i'm afraid !#so i wouldn't mind either if they do have their first kiss in their lives age 35 with each other either. I would not mind that at all.#i love bi/gay couples apparently... bi father figures & their grumpy gay men waiting for them to work it all out...#not used to using colour in comic-style drawings..or at all..so this is messy and awkward looking..but colour is refreshing#i imagine i will go back to witch hat art soon btw. my destiny in life.#i still remember writing my nrmt fic expecting to write their first kiss & then partway through twas like Umm No. They have kissed prior.#does that really line up with this comic though... i think i had their early dinner dates/first kiss BEFORE disbarment.#so i guess this comic doesn't line up with my ficverse.... No..... U___U Oh well. sorry kris! <3

Ello there I cant draw Bram at all. Can you give me a tutorial how to draw him? Please?
hi! i haven't really drawn bram save for the back of his head in that one drawing (AKA i haven't really studied his design thoroughly myself), so i'm not really sure how i can help! you might be mistaking me for another artist- either way, i'd recommend starting from a very basic anime figure and adding the details like hair and scars on top; the good thing about bsd (while at the same time unfortunate for me as a lover of diverse characters lol) is that they all look pretty much the same vis-a-vis body shape and are almost entirely distinguished by their clothes and hairstyle, so as long as u include bram's details, he should be recognizable no matter the base you draw. good luck!

honestly the only difference you need to know about mirror’s edge versus mirror’s edge: catalyst is that in order to play mirror’s edge, i have to dig out my xbox 360, cords and cables, hook it up, hit it a few times to get it running, and hope the disc still reads. and to play catalyst, i just pull it up on my ps4. and i still feel the urge to replay mirror’s edge a dozen times a year while i haven’t touched catalyst since i finished it.
#im touching it now obviously because I Want Trophy#but if not for that very external motivator. no. i dont think i would.#its not even a Bad game its just sort of. well! okay! cool experience! i don’t want to have it again that much!#the open world is. nice i guess? it really is impressive that they put all of that together and you can basically run from any point on the#map to another without losing your flow. but like. okay. i dont want to be doing that though.#i want to be playing mirror’s edge not freestyle parkour simulator.#the level design in the original mirror’s edge is so fucking fantastic it really boggles the mind. and then catalyst is. well. some of the#levels are pretty cool i guess.#cannot emphasize enoufh how much this game is just Fine. its just Fine. its a Fine game. i want to kill whoever made the dashes and the#random missions in the open world though.#that might just be a personal thing but they’re just not fun. they’re too disconnected too open. mirror’s edge one is Tight.#mirror’s edge catalyst is loose enough that i keep getting lost even when i have runner vision on.#which probably would not be a problem in any other game that didnt have the art style of mirror’s edge. where everything looks the same On#Purpose to draw attention to your rebellion against the corporate status quo. nice idea! great in game 1! a fucking nightmare in an open#world where i can’t find any fucking landmarks to orient myself by! all the buildings look the same!!!!!

hi, i ireally love your work and i don't know if you've answered this before but, what kinds of studies do you do or how did you learn color theory? i wanna get better at rendering and anatomy but im having trouble TT TT
Hi! Long answer alert. Once a chatterbox, always a chatterbox.
When I started actively learning how to draw about 10 1/2 years ago, I exclusively did graphite studies in sketchbooks. Here's a few examples—I mostly stuck to doing line drawings to drill basic shapes/contours and proportions into my brain. The more rendered sketches helped me practice edge control & basic values, and they were REALLY good for learning the actual 3D structure behind what I was drawing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'd use reference images that I grabbed from fitness forums, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, and some NSFW places, but you could find adequate ref material from figure drawing sites like Line of Action. LoA has refs for people (you can filter by clothed/unclothed, age, & gender), animals, expressions, hands/feet, and a few other useful things as well. Love them.
Learning how to render digitally was a similar story; it helped a lot that I had a pretty strong foundation for value/anatomy going in. I basically didn't touch color at all for ~2 years (except for a few attempts at bad digital or acrylic paint studies), which may not have been the best idea. I learned color from a lot of trial and error, honestly, and I'm pretty sure this process involved a lot of imitation—there were a number of digital/traditional painters whose styles I really wanted to emulate (notably their edge control, color choices, value distributions, and shape design), so I kiiind of did a mixture of that + my own experimentation.
For example, I really found Benjamin Björklund's style appealing, especially his softened/lost edges & vibrant pops of saturated color, so here's a study I did from some photograph that I'm *pretty* sure was painted with him in mind.
Tumblr media
Learning how to detail was definitely a slow process, and like all the aforementioned things (anatomy/color/edge control/values/etc.) I'm still figuring it out. Focusing on edge control first (that is, deciding on where to place hard/soft edges for emphasizing/de-emphasizing certain areas of the image) is super useful, because you can honestly fool a viewer into thinking there's more detail in a piece than there actually is if you're very economical about where you place your hard edges.
The most important part, to me, is probably just doing this stuff over and over again. You're likely not going to see improvement in a few weeks or even a few months, so don't fret about not getting the exact results you want and just keep studying + making art. I like to think about learning art as a process where you *need* to fail and make crappy art/studies—there's literally no way around it—so you might as well fail right now. See, by making bad art you're actually moving forward—isn't that a fun prospect!!
It's useful to have a folder with art you admire, especially if you can dissect the pieces and understand why you like them so much. You can study those aspects (like, you can redraw or repaint that person's work) and break down whether this is art that you just like to look at, or if it's the kind of art that you want to *make.* There's a LOT of art out there that I love looking at, probably tens of thousands of styles/mediums, but there's a very narrow range that I want to make myself.
I've mentioned it in some ask reply in the past, but I really do think looking at other artist's work is such a cheat code for improving your own skills—the other artist does the work to filter reality/ideas for you, and this sort of allows you to contact the subject matter more directly. I can think of so many examples where an artist I admired exaggerated, like, the way sunlight rested on a face and created that orange fringe around its edge, or the greys/dull blues in a wheat field, or the bright indigo in a cast shadow, or the red along the outside of a person's eye, and it just clicked for me that this was a very available & observable aspect of reality, which had up until that point gone completely unnoticed! If you're really perceptive about the art you look at, it's shocking how much it can teach you about how to see the world (in this particular case I mean this literally, in that the art I looked at fully changed the way I visually processed the world, but of course it has had a strong effect on my worldviews/relationships/beliefs).
Thanks so much for sending in a question (& for reading, if you got this far)! I read every single ask I receive, including the kind words & compliments, which I genuinely always appreciate. Best of luck with learning, my friend :)

How was their first kiss like?
(huge fan of you AU and art style<3)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
First kiss? Spidey's (and Wade's) brain go out the window.
Unfortunately, most of Peter's body is poison. :(
I decided to combo the questions and there's an explanation under the cut.
Peter produces venom both on demand but also unconsciously when he's excited/high on adrenaline etc.
When he's producing venom, it mixes into his saliva and acts like a neurotoxin, which can produce intense highs that can quickly tip over into oversensitivity and pain.
His mouth is EXTREMELY sensitive because of this. Wade's skin is like the fourth of july for his brain.
Prolonged internal exposure (kissing/oral/licking a cut/etc) creates a headrush that leaves most normal people unconscious. Skin to saliva contact is just tingly.
(Making out for long periods of time/oral with MJ was NOT on the table- which had MJ coming to wrong conclusions.)
His blood is straight up poison. Would not recommend ingesting. (Don't eat brightly colored spiders, kids!)
His sweat is so negligible as to be be unnoticeable- unless you're wringing towels into your mouth.
His semen also produces intense sensation- mostly oversensitivity, that can be incredibly pleasurable, but can also tip into pain and paralysis for most people. Peter has no idea his semen can do this- because he's never experimented with it (always a condom. ALWAYS).
Because Wade has an incredible healing factor, as well as extensive nerve damage and scarring, he doesn't experience the negative aspects of Peter's venom. A big enough dosage could cause paralysis and death, but it's also going to have to be a WAY bigger hit than Spiderman would normally apply.
This is a super fun learning experience for them both!
Once again, thank you so much for all the support and the asks, it's been so fun figuring Peter's venom out and finding ways to play with him!

Draw This In Your Style challenge!! ❤️✨
Yayy I finally get to do one!
I’ve been meaning to do a draw this in your style challenge for a while, but holy moly-! I did not realize how big the family has gotten! When I started this account 2-3 years ago I had no idea what I was in for and the hundreds of amazing people I’d meet. Genuinely, if it weren’t for you all I don’t believe I could ever find as much enjoyment in art as I do now, and for that i am infinitely grateful. I don’t know how long I’ll remain an artist, but for now I’ll enjoy every minute that I am one.
Now on from the sappy stuff! I wanted do host a small dtiys challenge as a thank you. It’s not a competition and there is no prize or time limit. It’s really all for fun, but if you decide to join in I’d love to see your submission! If you’re comfortable, you can tag me in your post. Any and all media are allowed and you can also add your own spin of your Sky design! Hope you have fun and happy drawing! 🎉

The Princes
Tumblr media
Ten years later. When marrying a Prince turns a Queen and a Servant into actual Royalties.
Because Vil deserves a real crown and Jamil deserves to be treated better.
NOW I'M GONNA RANT ABOUT MY CHARA DESIGNS CHOICES AND ALL THE DISCOVERIES I MADE WHILE LOOKING FOR REFS! If you only care about art and funny doodles, you can scroll down for a handful of slices of life.
Tumblr media
(Don't worry if you can't read my notes, I'm repeating myself better right under this)
Leona
-Lion: As you may know, one of my grievances with Leona is how his hair doesn't look like an actual mane despite being a lion. While I don't want to stray too far from the canon design with the usual drawings, that's the occasion for me to have some fun with a future version. Give that lion a beard and voluminous hair!
-Hair: First, get those bangs out of his face. Despite Leona being very confident, he still has bangs covering his scarred eye. I wanted him to finally own the aspects of him that may be scary to others (his UM, his scar, etc). I actually went with bangs framing his face similar to the ones he had during his Overblot. I wasn't sure whether to give him dreadlocks or curly hair, but I ended up choosing the free curls decorated with some atebas and braids so that Vil could have more fun styling them.
-Eye: Thanks @aria-faye for the idea, I decided to have his eye gradually lose its capacities with time. From a headcanon that, while the eye wasn't directly touched by whatever attack scarred him, the process of healing still had an impact on it and he gradually lost sight in his left eye years after years.
-Body: Not giving him a dad bod (yet, maybe in another ten years), but definitely giving him more voluminous yet casual muscles. Practical muscles with a healthy dose of fat and tissues. Also giving him two full sleeves of tattoos because I decided he should have much more than just his lion tattoo.
-Clothes: Went full Maasai dressing and Kenyan fabrics and beadworks. If you're not familiar with it, please go check it out, it's GORGEOUS!! Crown is beadwork too. He also has one Arabic styled foot jewellery.
Jamil
-Hair: My first order was to remove his double-faced hairstyle and also remove his bangs from his eye. Make him confident enough to show his whole face. Unlike Leona and Vil, he doesn't really want a crown though (he still feels weird about becoming royalty) so instead he uses a braid as crown. Also gave him a little goatee because I like facial hair and Jafar has a beard too.
-Body: He grew up! While he didn't quite catch up with Leona and Vil, he is now closer to their sizes than before, sitting at around 180cm. He kept his breakdancer/martial artist lean muscles but developed a bit of shoulders.
-Clothes: Went full Arabic dressing and fabrics (once more, go check the fabrics, they are pieces of arts). I gave him floral motifs instead of his usual fire/snake motifs (though he does have a snake earring and a fangs necklace) to symbolise his rebirth/blooming. Like Leona, he has one piece of jewellery that is beadwork.
Vil
-Hair: Here it was a bit tricky. Considering Vil's work, he likely changes hairstyles a lot, going from long to short for his roles instead of his wants. So I leaned into the little things he could add to his hair despite their constant changes, mostly jewelleries, beadworks and wool decorations he stole from his husbands. He also cares a bit less about them looking perfect and is allowing himself to be more natural. He doesn't have any facial hair (yet), keeping a youthful appearance for as long as he can. In another ten years though, he might start looking more and more like his father, beard included.
-Clothes: For Leona and Jamil's mental states, the three of them most likely started living in Sunset Savanna so they wouldn't freeze to death. Vil is well traveled so he can handle most temperatures without trouble, and he is used to dressing up in the local get ups. Here I decided to give him both African dress and Arabic fabric, and likewise both beadwork and golden jewellery. I gave him crown and heart motifs so he can keep being himself despite borrowing a lot from his husbands.
There, I'm done rambling. Here's some doodles, followed by some random headcanons.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-Vil does his husbands hair every morning and keeps giving them more and more intricate hairstyles. He developed a whole haircare and beard-care products set for them.
-When Vil is away for a movie, Jamil keeps his hair mostly down save for a few accessories.
-Jamil and Falena get along surprisingly well (to Leona's despair). Vil gets along very well with Falena's wife.
-Jamil acts as a Scalding Sands ambassador and still is the one to care for Kalim when he comes to visit, though this time he's doing it because he wants to and not because he has to.
-Vil got used to his new title immediately but Jamil struggles with it a lot. He still has a hard time wrapping his head around the fact that he is no longer a servant.
-The servants at the palace love Jamil because he always makes their job easier.
-Leona finally decided to put his wits to good use and became Falena's advisor. He still fights a lot with Kifaji about the direction to take with the country, but he managed to make some of his ideas heard to help with the staggering inequalities in the country.
That's all for now!

EVENT OVER! THANKS EVERYONE WHO JOINED IN U ALL DID AN AMAZING JOB <3 SEE YOU AGAIN NEXT YEAR IN MARCH FOR #mARTch OR NEXT OCTOBER (2024) FOR A NEW SET OF PROMPTS!!!!!
Tumblr media
OC-TOBER 2023 PROMPTS!!
general tag: #oc-tober / my prompts: #bweirdOCtober
F.A.Q:
Do I have to draw EVERY DAY?
NO! I highly encourage skipping as many days as you need to avoid burnout! There are 10 main days in the event (marked with a ⭐ star) that you can focus on if you don't feel up to doing every day, or you can choose your own adventure and just do the prompts you personally like!
Do I have to DRAW?
NO! You can also write fanfiction snippets, repost older art that fits the theme, tweet headcanons/backstory, roleplay in-character as your oc ... genuinely anything that fits the theme is OK!!
Can I start early?
YES! I understand some people work at a slower pace and might need a head start! So long as you wait until October to post it, you can start working as early as you need!
I missed the start of the event .. do I have to catch up?
NO! Please don't stress about days you missed, you're allowed to just skip to the current prompt!
RULES:
1. MAKE FRIENDS! The community is the best part of this event .. please try to follow new people, ask questions about ocs you like, compliment people's styles, ask friends to create with you, etc!
2. TAKE IT EASY! Skip a day if you're tired, busy or just not interested in the prompt. You don't have to catch up on it later. This is supposed to be fun, not work!
3. BE KIND! Please think about the people around you - don't give people unwarranted harsh criticism, content warn for themes/imagery in your work that could trigger someone, don't create anything hateful, etc

Venus ♀ Conjunct Planets/Points
Venus Conjunct Ascendant
You have a pleasant and friendly personality that other people find attractive and alluring. You possess physical appeal, a charming nature, sophistication and a good fashion sense; all of which favor you socially. You may have artistic talents; you will certainly have an appreciation of the arts and culture. You have good taste and an eye for style and design.
Venus Conjunct Sun
You have a natural charm that others find attractive. Your warmth and affection are contagious and endearing to other people. You have strong powers of personal attraction and welcome the intimacy of individual relationships. Innately creative, you have the ability to develop artistic flair and an aesthetic sense. You appreciate beauty and refinement in all its forms.
Venus Conjunct Moon
You have a refined nature, with an appreciation of the finer things in life including the arts and culture. You are charming with an instinct for the subtleties of social interaction. You have artistic potential, especially in painting, photography or music. You love beauty, have a good fashion sense and enjoy the good life (fine food and wine). Your home is likely to be tastefully decorated and artistically arranged. In love, you desire tenderness and the need to feel emotionally connected to your partner.
Venus Conjunct Mars
You have a sensual and passionate nature, with a strong need for emotional and sexual experiences. You express your feelings ardently, especially in personal relationships. You have strong desires and can be romantically assertive or even aggressive. In love, the thrill of the chase is often more exciting than the outcome. You are drawn to sexually magnetic people who are aware of their own sexuality and will occasionally form unions based solely on physical attraction. There can be a tendency to seek sexual gratification and then move on. A "love 'em and leave 'em" attitude is not unknown to people with this planetary pairing. Difficulties in love are possible through flirtatious behaviour or infidelity, obviously. Possibly, you may be creative or artistic.
Venus Conjunct Mercury
Your thoughts are more often than not on love and relationships. You need to share your ideas and affections with those who are close to you. You have a pleasant manner and easily interact with others. You enjoy social activity and are good company because of your sense of fun. You have a creative intellect and an eye for beauty and artistic design. You may also have talents as a speaker or writer.
Venus Conjunct Jupiter
This is a very desirable aspect to have in a chart because it brings social and worldly benefits and facilitates successful relationships with others. Warm-hearted and sociable, you are popular with other people because of your readiness to give generously. You have a pleasant and affectionate nature, which people find attractive and appealing. Romantic encounters are generally positive and happy and artistic ability is evident. You know how to enjoy yourself, however, you can be prone to self-indulgence, sensuality or wastefulness. There can also be an inclination toward laziness.
Venus Conjunct Saturn
Regarding matters of the heart, you are cautious and inclined to put practical considerations before romantic desires. You have a tendency to exercise self-control in love, perhaps at the expense of emotional satisfaction and spontaneity. People generally need to earn your trust before you allow them to get too close. Yet, once trust is established, you are very loyal and steadfast. You view relationships seriously and value stability and fidelity in love. You are attracted to people older than yourself and respect their life experience and maturity. At times, you enjoy time alone and are content in your own company. Alternatively, you can be emotionally cool and indifferent, even hardhearted and cold. There may be difficulties in expressing affection and discomfort with intimacy. You can be inhibited and lack self-confidence in love, resulting in periods of loneliness or forced abstinence. (Note: artistic excellence is sometimes found with this planetary pairing due to the discipline required for high art).
Venus Conjunct Uranus
Irrespective of how much you like or love another, you will not allow your independence to be compromised. You rebel against commitment and emotional pressure from others, or being made to feel obligated to meet their romantic expectations of you. Instead, you thrive on change and variety in love and are attracted to the unusual and exotic in others. Conventional and routine relationships tend to drive you to distraction. You are demonstrative and expressive in your feelings and spontaneous with your affections. Adventurous and receptive to new experiences, you are fun to be with and open to experimentation. Artistically, you appreciate anything that is modern, original and unique.
Venus Conjunct Neptune
Good taste, refinement and artistic appreciation or talent is the promise of this planetary pairing. You have a keen sense of beauty, coupled with creative imagination and inspiration. You may develop a talent for music, dance, drama, poetry, painting or photography. Emotionally, you are highly romantic and inclined to dream and wish for perfect love. In regard to matters of the heart, you are idealistic, a bit ungrounded and susceptible to seducing influences. There is a danger of poor judgement in love and difficulties in relationships caused through deception.
Venus Conjunct Pluto
There is no middle ground in your romantic life; you are either committed to another or not. So deep are your feelings that you can experience love and hate with equal force. In love, you expect to give and receive total loyalty. From time to time you enter into fateful unions. Serious problems can occur in relationships through power struggles, secretiveness and jealousy.
Venus Conjunct Rahu
It is important for you to establish and maintain harmony in your relationships. You have the ability to make others feel at ease and relaxed in your company. Possessing charm and good taste, you prefer the company of cultured and refined people. You tend to cultivate friendships with creative people and move in artistic circles. Popular and well-liked, you enjoy an active social life and have many opportunities for love.
Venus Conjunct Midheaven
You are a warm-hearted and loving individual. Status in your career is important to you and vocational successes are likely in creative occupations or the arts. You have a unique sense of style and have quite individualistic fashion tastes and preferences. You have high expectations in love and, at some point in your life, will experience a love union that all others are measured by.

How did you learn to draw fat bodies but still keep it cartoony? I love how you draw different types of bodies and make them all seem normal instead of certain body types sticking out like a sore thumb next to others. I struggle to draw fat bodies without it looking weird with the rest of my art. Do you have a specific tutorial you followed or something?
This is a really good question! I'm glad you like my depictions of different body types, i worked really hard to get better at that so im happy folks enjoy em!! I didn't actually learn from a book or tutorial, it was mostly looking at fat bodies IRL and learning to incorporate those features onto what I already drew. As it turns out, we're all human, so if you understand the anatomy enough to draw a skinny person, you have the tools to understand the anatomy of a fat person.
Tumblr media
So, like, here, this is my sketch of someone with a very average build. If I were to draw a fat body, I would still use all the basic principles I use here. One mistake I think folks run into is "isolating" parts, which can lead to things like this
Tumblr media
which isn't necessarily bad, but if its not what you're going for, the issue is pretty apparent. Weight affects ALL of the body, not just the stomach or the face or the limbs. If you think about how that weight affects everything in tandem then you can start drawing fat bodies that work more in your style.
Tumblr media
for this, this is the same quick sketch using the same pose and principles as the first one. but! I allowed the weight to be distributed across the body. Notice how the legs, belly, arms, etc all got thicker? The key to drawing fat bodies and making them look like they fit is allowing that weight to affect everything. without it, it just looks like you're adding on features to someone rather than considering everything at once.
my other tip is: don't be scared! things like fat arms or chins or bellies or stretch lines are not something that's bad to depict. if you want to draw fat bodies, you gotta not be scared to draw things the way they are. someone having a fat body is not bad, and you drawing that fat body is not bad either. Experiment! To me, art is about representing ideas, and the only way to get better is to experiment with how you represent those ideas. I'm by no means an expert, and I think you can also get a ton done by looking for resources aside from me, but I hope this helps, and have fun!!
