This post is gonna be larger than my previous ones. Enjoy :)
Tumblr media
As some of you may know, the Yo-kai Reuknight has a Z medal that shows up in the movie (and in a recap episode iirc). For some reason, there is no physical version of it despite how some other YKW1 Yo-kai like Venoct has one. I assume the reason is to explain how Nathaniel can summon him with the Model Zero Watch. This got me thinking: What if all the Yo-kai Nathaniel befriended had Z medals? Of course, Yo-kai who originate from the 2nd game already have Z/Classic medals, so I decided to make some Z medals for YKW1 Yo-kai who don't have them! I have made 5 of them so far.
Tumblr media
Starting off weak: Chippa. I'll be honest, I forgot this Yo-kai even existed lol. I don't even remember exactly what he does. Sorry for anyone who likes this Yo-kai, I just personally like Lodo more because his evolution looks really sick.
Tumblr media
Next we have Slitheref, a more memorable Yo-kai since he works with the Blasters. In the medal you can see him as a referee, which I personally think it fits him. Sorry for the somewhat lazy background, I tend to focus more on the characters themselves.
Tumblr media
Now, most people probably don't care/remember, but Slitheref was one of the Yo-kai in the first game to have a "White" variant. For those who don't remember, White Yo-kai are monochrome variants of certain Yo-kai that follow McKraken. Aside from that, the only diference I remember them having is that you could not befriend them. I only made Slitheref monochrome because in a Yo-kai Watch Blasters mod called Blasters Plus Plus (which I highly recommend playing btw) these guys can be befriended and their medals also look like this.
Tumblr media
Enough with Slitheref, next Yo-kai is Sushiyama. Apologies if he looks a bit weird, I'm not the best when it comes to perspective. Iirc his ability is to make people live like a stereotypical Japanese person, but I thought it'd be funny if I drew him using a computer because he became a weeb.
Tumblr media
The 4th one (excluding White Slitheref) is Everfore. Don't have much to say about her, but I really like this medal. It is based off an image I found while searching for reference that's related to her origin. This is one of my favorite medals, only second to:
Tumblr media
Singcada! I do in a way wish that the Yo-kai Nathaniel befriended was Cadable, since he's Cadin's evolution, but I really like how this medal turned out and I would most likely have made it very different. I drew him blowing a horn only because it looks cool since he most likely doesn't need it due to already being a cicada. Him having 4 arms also allowed me to be more creative, sadly his 4th arm isn't visible because of the wings. I didn't know what to put on the flag, so I simply just put the emblem of the Enma tribe.
And that's it for now. There's 6 Yo-kai remaining so I'll probably make another post like this once I finish drawing them. If you made it all the way here, thank you :)

Note
Apparently, yokai watch the movie is based on yokai watch 2 and not the other way around, I always thought the games were based off the movie. Probably why they had physic specters be more in line with the movie when in came out. This is about the Japanese releases, not sure when yokai watch the movie and yokai watch 2 came out in the states but it was probably around the same time as each other for money purposes. Sorry that was long, hope you’re doing well
i'm pretty sure 2 came out before the movie in america. which is kinda interesting to me cuz hailey n usapyon debuted before even blasters came out as (i assume) promotion for 3. and then the dub stopped airing before 3 even came out in america vffgcgffcf-

Note
where the FUCK do you watch Youkai watch?? It looks interesting but youtub gives me NONE other than clips
Internet archive has A LOT of episodes in English!
https://archive.org/details/yo-kai.watch.s01e74.dubbed.720p.hdtv.x264-w4f
If you scroll down a little you'll find episode 1 from season 1 and so on!!!
Unfortunately this is the only way to watch it (i think) because yo-kai watch was removed from most (if not all) streaming services :'c
But there u go! I hope that helps-
(PS: Paste the link and copy it into ur browser if it doesn't work bsndjsdj :'])
(PSS: Here, take the link for Yo-kai Watch: The Movie too!)

Yo-kai Watch Respirited: Nate and the Bois!
Tumblr media
Here’s the OG trio’s designs for respirited and i’m very happy with how they turned out, especially the shading. Since Respirited takes place a year or so after 4, might as well give some characters new looks.
Jibanyan stays relatively unchanged but has darkened tips of his ears cause that’s a thing i thought that would look cool. That’s about it though.
Whisper has more done with him. with purple eyes and purple tips of his tail and wisp top, as i thought it look more appealing. And he has canines like his shadowside self, inspired by the great amf-studios.
Now Nate has the most done to him, i wanted to combine some of his outfits together so he has his movie 1 vest that now has a hoodie, his standard red shirt, his pants color from MO1 with some new shoes to boot!
Next his hailey and her gang so stay tuned for that!
Enjoy the boys and their new looks!

Batman the Doom that came to Gotham
"Review"
Tumblr media
Never read the books that accompanied this movie but its made good
Spoilers below cut
Standouts:
1. Sanjay Tawde
Voiced by Karan Brar from Jessie. Literally brought me back. I love that such a simple change to the character made me so happy evey time I saw him on screen. Like its Jason but its also Karan. I loved the little details they put into him. He's always reading, you can tell he's been lectured about his foul mouth by all the stand-ins he has for actual cuss words. He's happy-go-lucky former street rat Jay Jay. More from him in the future I beg.
2. Brucie
This movie is a stone throw away from hitting all of the baby girl marks for Bruce Wayne. Very not okay mentally. Very scrumply umply. Very much loving life with his babies🥺. He's a dramatic bitch, I could not be more proud. (Very in love with Harvey) like he would've been so happy on the high seas with his little family.
Also love an old timey batman. Like bruce shouldn't exist in any other time period after watching this.
3. Ollie
Very bimbo, very drunk, very he would flash his titties if he had them(and you know they're bright pink and pretty)
Ollie being a drunk will always be my favorite Ollie. He's serious when he needs to be but I'm glad we didn't get too much of that as it detracts from his beauty.💅🏿
Now about the the actual movie:
I remember going into this movie saying to myself they better not kill my babies and what the f*** did they do. Like after a certain point in the movie I didn't know what was going to happen. I enjoyed every crazy ass turn they took. I love what they did for the Cassandra (Kai Li)of that universe too. All the characters were their same weird freaky selves in different fonts, I hope they make something like this again😭 (I'm probably going to edit and add to this post cause I'm fresh out and still processing oml)
Honorable mentions
Yo I feel like Alfred was based off peppermint butler. Mans was un bothered.
Cracking myself open for Talia as we speak.
Ra's Al Ghul kinda a bitch in this, like Ra's is normally selfish/self serving and he was resurecting fucking starro or sum shit
I love not having to hate harvey
This is a must watch the only thing they could've done differently is releases this on Halloween. This was good enough for theaters even.

Plot

This article needs an improved plot summary. (December 2015)
The plot is the same as Yo-kai Watch 2, but with some changes. One night, the evil Yo-kai duo Kin and Gin steal the Yo-kai Watch from Nate Adams to help their master Dame Dedtime prevent humans and Yo-kai from being friends. He then encounters the Yo-kai Meganyan, who tells him that Yo-kai are real. He and the crew head to Nate's grandmother Lucy Loo Adams, encounter a shadow and chase it, but to no avail. Meganyan returns, asking to pull out the cork in his body—the cork that suppresses his energy. Nate decides not to pull it out, and asks Jibanyan & Whisper to pull it out for him, but to no avail. Nate pulls it out, and he and the crew get covered in pink smoke. He finds help from the Yo-kai Hovernyan - and uses a time stone to take Nate, Whisper, and Jibanyan back in time 60 years to when the Yo-kai Watch was first invented by Nate's own grandfather Nathaniel Adams while he was a kid. Dame Dedtime gets word of this, and tries a plan to push the human world farther from the Yo-kai world. Together, the two boys battles against Dame Dedtime and her Wicked Yo-kai minions to save the world of the past from her evil plans and recover the Nate's Yo-kai Watch.

Plot
edit

I remember being 8 years old, wandering around walmart like the little goblin creature I was, when my mom told me I could pick out one 3DS game I wanted. I already liked Pokémon, so I picked Yo-Kai Watch.
I never really made it past Sproink, got frustrated at the difficulty and put the game down. Later on, I watched the show on Netflix, and it absolutely captivated my imagination. I remember walking up to a kid on the playground who I was friends with, asking if he knew about Yo-Kai Watch all excited, only for him to respond by saying he thought it was weird.
So, I shut that part of me down. I didn’t ask my parents for the second game, didn’t own a watch, nothing. As much as I wanted to, my friends thought it was weird. I never even completed the first game, my mind had been set to believe that I shouldn’t like it- I couldn’t like it, all because it deviated from what kids thought was a normal interest. The farthest I went was watching the movie, which I did my very best to hide any record of from my parents, even though it was a huge interest to me. Hell, I remember being told my parents were divorcing, and being more concerned with watching this movie for the third time in a row than the fact that they were no longer together.
Time passed, I let the interest go and stuck to Pokémon. It crossed my mind to play it occasionally, but I never followed through.
5 years later I was going through my 3DS games, and I found Yo-Kai Watch 1. I checked up on my old save game, leveled up a bit, and took on Sproink one final time, defeating him with just one Yo-kai left on my team. I began to watch the Yo-Kai Watch anime again, curious as to how it held up, and was absolutely enthralled with it again.
Somehow, over the years I had left it behind, the part of me that wanted to go on silly little adventures with Nate and his Yo-kai pals only grew, creating a fondness for the series I didn’t know to be possible. Over the course of the summer I picked it back up, I burned through 180 episodes of absolutely nonsensical antics, and I loved every second of it. Things were different. I wasn’t the kid it was targeted to anymore, but now, I was choosing to let go of that. I didn’t care how childish, how immature it made me seem. I loved Yo-Kai Watch, and I still love it now. I bought myself a copy of the second game, I got myself a watch, burned through every episode of the original series, and I found ways to play the other titles, no matter how “weird” it was.
So thank you, Yo-Kai Watch. For letting me be a kid again. Thank you for the creativity you’ve inspired and continue to inspire in me every day.
Happy 10th, and one last time, thank you for everything.

Hi, Hey there!
I've had this blog up for a few weeks so I figured I'd introduce myself. Not gonna reveal my actual name for security reasons but just call me Kosmic.
I currently live in the USA (Unfortunately). I'm genderfluid and really don't care what pronouns I am referred to with as long as they're not it/it's. I'm also an aspiring writer but for now I mostly just write fanfiction. Mostly Saint Seiya related obviously though I've been working on other stuff.
You can find my AO3 account here:
I've also been working on art but I'm still a beginner.
I try to be a nice person. (Though I'm not sure if I'm good at it because I can't stop swearing.) I don't accept racism, ableism, bullying, kin exclusionists or gatekeeping, misogyny, homophobia or anything anti-lgbt...
Yeah, Just don't be a dick. It's not hard.
Also don't be a sicko, no pedophila or zoophilia.
Some other stuff about me in case you care:
I'm a minor, don't be a creep.
I have ADHD, tend to hyperfixate on weird stuff. Then again a lot of people on this website do. Just saying I'm not one to judge people when I think about my interests.
I'm agnostic but I'm not going to crap on anyone for having a religion, as long as you're not a Jehovah's Witness. Screw those abusive idiots.
My hobbies are reading, writing, drawing, playing retro games, creating OCs, watching documentaries, and staying up at three AM regretting all of my life's choices
My favorite shows are: Saint Seiya (1986), Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Ronin Warriors, Ranma 1/2, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Astro Boy, Jetter Mars, Sonic Prime, Sonic X, Beastars, Thundercats (both 1986 and 2011), Futurama, Kimba the White Lion, Cowboy Bebop, To Kai Watch, Captain Scarlet, Black Jack, Samurai Jack, Ampanman, The Amazing World of Gumball, Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, Danger Mouse, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai (AKA Power Rangers)
My favorite movies: the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, AKIRA, the Barbie movie (don't judge), Godzilla, Plague Dogs, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Saint Seiya: Legend of the Crimson Youth, Chirin's Bell, The amazing Spider-Man, Toy Story 3, The Iron Giant, Into the Spiderverse, also as of now gotta add the FNAF movie
Favorite video games: Sonic the Hedgehog series, Phantasy Star 4, Columns, Panel De Pon, Mega Man, PulseMan, Mario Kart 8, Pokemon: Legends Arceus, Animal Crossing, Earthbound, Poyo Poyo/Mean Bean Machine, Sin and Punishment, Harvest Moon, Star Fox
Favorite Bands/Musical Artists: Jack Stauber, Daft Punk, Lemon Demon, Caravan Palace, Tally Hall, Miura Ayme, Rammstein, The Living Tombstone, Rare Americans, Nirvana, Rammstein, Witchfinder General, Gorillaz
Favorite books: The Golden Compass, The Most Dangerous Game, Magnus Chase, Heros of Olympus (or basically anything by Rick Riordan), Death Note, Beastars (manga), Inuyasha, The Lovely Bones (I fucking cried so hard), MAUS (Made me cry harder), City of Ember, Journey to the West, Most classic creepypastas mainly "Abandoned by Disney" (YES. I know they're not books), Cells at Work, AKIRA (Manga)
So... Um... Yeah.
I like to talk with people about my interests so don't be afraid to give me a message. (As long as it doesn't promise "hot singles" in my area, I'm not that stupid.)
Updates:
I have a discord under the name robotic carnival and a side blog Tezuka Brainrot.
I am fictokin of: Cobalt from Astro Boy mainly.
Partially:
Mars from Jetter Mars.
Jibanyan from Yo Kai Watch
Rika from Phantasy Star.
Akane Tendo and Ryoga Hibbikki from Ranma 1/2
Cygnus Hyoga, Pegasus Seiya, and Aquarius Camus from Saint Seiya.
And the flag on my profile picture is ADHD flag.
Cringe and proud. ♥️
My husbandos are Doctor Yamanoue and Doctor Kawashimo from Jetter Mars, Phoenix Ikki from Saint Seiya, James/Kojiro from Pokemon, and Rune from Phantasy Star.
I can't beat Zio PLZ someone tell me how.
I am pro Palestine and I will accept no support of genocide.
I am neutral on the Joe Hawley situation as he has done terrible things yet does not deserve to be hacked or harassed.
Also ship discourse and fanfiction censorship discourse is dumb I don't care anymore. And regret my past actions. Don't harass over stuff you don't like but also tag your shit. You can't complain about people judging you if you are irresponsible about keeping it where it belongs.

(Also, did you ever get to watching the second Yo-kai Watch movie from the link I sent you?)
They'd barely even bat an eyelash lol. Shoutaro isn't the go-to person for missing cat cases for nothing, you know. His reputation as the Cat Whisperer precedes him, and he's also a magnet for cryptids... this is just the two coming together in one incident
Unfortunately I haven't had the time to watch the movie you sent me 😅 I'll try to squeeze it in on the weekend if I have time
