ALSO something I put on the yj server but I want to share, I’ve never really understood why it’s so upsetting to people that Bernard isn’t upset about Tim not telling him he’s Robin. Like I get it theoretically, they think it makes them boring, but I can’t see it that way. Because being a hero—being Robin—is so important to Tim, and it’s such a huge part of who he is (he doesn’t really know who he is outside of Robin) that isn’t it kinda amazing he found someone who understands that? I think it’s telling, actually, that Bernard still loves and trusts Tim wholeheartedly despite knowing he’s keeping that secret. Because he understands that yeah, sometimes the city has to come first, and yeah, it’s dangerous. He gets that better than any other civilian because he’s already had fucked up things happen to him because Tim is Robin even BEFORE they were together (Darla coming back and using him to find Tim, for example) and he’s been through enough to understand the severity of it. And he also knows Tim doesn’t want to leave him when he has to do Robin Things, but they both understand that there isn’t a choice. THATS SO INSANE TO ME because Tim found someone who understands it’s an obligation, not necessarily a choice. Tim can’t look away when people are getting hurt, and Bernard doesn’t even consider it an option. LIKE DAMN LET THE TWO LOSERS UNDERSTAND AND CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER god forbid Bernard trusts, respects, and understands his boyfriend 😭😭😭

Been thinking a lot about Nightwing lately with the new run starting and the movie annoucements. And there are things I'd like to see them do as PR against the extreme babyboy and himboifcation of nightwing that has plagued him for too long.

A proper Court of Owls storyline that see's him become a Talon. None of that Ric bullshit. And he needs to be a real Talon he needs to have electrum, he needs to have killed people. This makes it that much more interesting when he breaks free and has to learn how to be Nightwing again. I would love to see Jason involved with this as it would kinda parallel what he went through as Redhood.

The Court of Owls should be Nightwing villains anyway considering how deeply entrenched they are in his personal history and fucking bloodline.

The next thing I want will probably be more contreversial. But I think he needs a new romance a good adult romance idk why they have him going on like a teenager at his grown age. I wouldn't mind him being single for a while as there seems to be this misconception that he's a slut, but his romances have been so bad recently i'd like to see him get a good fun one again.

Now I have one that I think would be fun but contreversial, and it admitedly comes from Young Justice which kinda started the whole manwhore bs. But I do think him and Zatanna were a fun idea. I don't want them to retcon her age, I think an age gap between two consenting adults is sexy.

Do I think Bruce would be mad? Yeah thats part of the fun. I also feel that Zatanna needs to get away from Constantine they just make everything about him when she's the cooler more powerful one. So, let her have a sexy younger man who won't make the magic stoylines about him.

I mean would love to see Starfire and him again but I feel like they're not going to and we're talking pipedreams anyway. Besides YJ robbed me with that timeskip. Plus Dick and Barbara's whole relationship is built on retcons and its bullshit. So, let me have this.
