i find shauna and callie’s relationship so fascinating because i don’t entirely think shauna DOES see callie as jackie. i think she does a little, but more in the sense that she feels like she should be responsible for callie, but she can never quite do it right - same as with jackie. i think the main cause of their relationship being so tough is the wilderness baby. shauna physically can’t let herself get attached to callie because she doesn’t trust that she’s sticking around. it’s partly mental but also partly physical (ppd, ptsd etc). shauna never fully recovered from jackie, never really removed her from life in the way you usually do with someone who’s passed and so when she had callie, to shauna that was under the exact same circumstances as wb because she was still taking jeff from jackie and having a baby with her best friend+’s boyfriend.

as for the party scene, there’s definitely two factors - callie bears some physical resemblance to jackie (teenage girl, thin, midlength hair, big eyes) and is also wearing jackie’s uniform. shauna KNOWS it’s jackie’s uniform she’s seeing, and she KNOWS she hallucinates jackie, so the obvious presumption is (as she says) “jackie?”. we see her get angry with callie when she realises that she’s not jackie, which is think pretty much sums up their relationship.

shauna doesn’t see callie as jackie - she sees callie as the version of jackie that she could have been, the version of her firstborn that he could have been, except that the capacity of love and trust she had for both of them is gone and callie is just too late and just not the real thing.

For the purpose of this one I think the Phantoms is with the YJ, probably. So they're talking to Tim?

Also like, they're both Phantom. At the same time. They didn't try to hide it at all, everyone else just assumed they're the same person because duplication is one of phantom's known powers. And because they usually called each other by name, and have chronic under-explaining things syndrome, and does things in sync a lot, and look almost identical.

So in their teammate's eyes Phantom is one single entity, just casual with his duplication power and also genderfluid. Even when Dani occasionally calls Danny template, people think of dupes before clones.

...Which leads to the next hilarious situation where Tim only tell the other members there's more than one Phantom, making them questions every dupe they see.

After defeating Pariah Dark, Phantom -High King of the Infinite Realms- joins the JL or YJL.

Danny is a great addition to the team, he’s surrounded by other people with powers (even if they didn’t have to die to get them), he doesn’t have to hide who he is. Nobody is hunting him anymore. The Anti-Ecto acts have been abolished and so has the GIW. He can still help people but the pressure isn’t just on him anymore. His parents accept him. Danny is happy.

But one day, one fateful day…

Pariah rises again.

The magic users are scrambling. The JL and YJ are frantic. Danny is…

Pretty calm, actually. A little annoyed, perhaps.

That kinda tracks. He’s the high king of the infinite realms and all the dead. He’s defeated Pariah before- and now he’s older, more experienced, with a team that he’s never had before. He’s explored his powers and authority to an extent his past self could only dream of.

So when Pariah Dark, former Tyrant of the Dead, storms the watchtower where the heroes have gathered, they’re a little off-put by it but ready to defend their home with all their might- a newfound confidence from Phantom’s nonchalance.

But who would’ve guessed that Pariah Dark, former Tyrant of the dead, would ask Phantom..

If he could adopt him?

Danny guessed, it seemed.

“No.” Danny glared at him.

“I can give you-“

“I don’t want anything from you, you frootloop. Piss off.” Danny said pointedly, tapping his foot impatiently.

“I can offer you wisdom to lead your kingdom that you won’t find anywhere else!” Pariah said exasperated, waving his arms around.

“I don’t want a tyrant’s advice.” Danny sneered. The rest of the heroes exchanged glances. This certainly wasn’t on anybody’s bingo card.

“Alright, that’s fair, but-“

“Ive been ruling my kingdom just fine. Piss off.” Danny jabbed a finger at him. “I will eat your core if you ask again.” Pariah paled, (as much as a ghost could), then grumbled about getting him eventually before finally, finally leaving in a swirling, neon green portal.

Danny left in one of his own, after bidding goodbye to the rest of them. Nobody wanted to ask what that was about. He seemed pissed.

A little while later, the heroes finally got around to processing what exactly happened that morning.

The.. former king of the dead, known tyrant, the one who Danny defeated.. came back to ask??? If he could adopt Danny???? Again???? As in he tried asking before????????

There was much pandemonium for the heroes that fateful day.

Bio

- same bg as canon except Dick was sold to a group of nameless, off-grid scientists to be experimented on using American black robin DNA

- later rescued 7 months later by Bruce and trained to become The Boy Wonder, Robin (age 9)

- (unintentionally) keeps wings private from team (only Alfred and Bruce are aware of his wings) as he generally keeps his wings bound tightly to his back

- only frees them on patrols (mostly hidden under his cape) with Batman and at home/during personal training

- he is (begrudgingly) 4'11" (this is his max height. pulling an fma where his special appendages prevent him from growing up)

- wears "performer" tights when training at home

- literally an adrenaline junkie for freefalling
