A one-sided jazz x Jason or batkid idea

Okay before i get into my own thing, i wanna link this oneshot i found on AO3 which i think is rad

Growing up in Amity Park with mad scientists for parents had not engendered in Jazz a normal sense of danger. She was completely chill in situations that would make most others cower in fear. There’s a reason she was willing to live in as seedy a part of Gotham as she did instead of seeking out more expensive but theoretically safer student housing.

But even so, there were limits. And catching her neighbor climbing up the fire escape at night heavily armed and covered in blood and gore went way beyond them. She is not living next door to a serial killer! Especially considering the way she’d caught him staring at her recently…

Which brought her here, packing her bags as quickly as she could after watching him leave for… whatever it was that he did during the day. She was gonna call the cops on him (not that they were likely to actually do that much in Gotham) and then crash over at her friend’s place until her first chance to transfer colleges to somewhere else.

Then, turning to survey the apartment one last time, a thought struck her. A bit of blood stains and wreckage to make it look like she was kidnapped would hopefully prevent him from realizing she was onto him and coming after her for revenge. Plus, getting to work off some of her own anger by breaking things might be therapeutic.

…And so, when Jason returned to his apartment building later that afternoon, it was to see it surrounded by cop cars. Apparently, someone had kidnapped his neighbor Jazz and ransacked her apartment. And there were no leads except that in her call, she had mentioned seeing a blood-soaked figure enter the building a previous night.

He felt dread and rage boil in his gut. He’d never even noticed anyone watching them. Could they have been after him, and attacked her as collateral? He hadn’t even asked her out yet, but he had mentioned his crush around his minions before. If that was the reason, whoever had snitched would pay.

Or even if it was just a coincidence, he’d still make those responsible regret it.

It was time for Red Hood to start hunting once again.

Headcanons for a toxic 0306?

Sorry, I'm just strangely in the mood for scandal.

And part two of the toxic Milgram asks, both sent separately asdfds! Something was in the air this week I guess…

I absolutely love thinking of these two being sweet and healing – the only thing that’s more fun is to think of them toxic and insane about each other ASDFSA

Breakup rituals FR. I think within Milgram they actually might cool down a bit, but their T1 personalities would be all or nothing: they’re so intensely, passionately in love – then, how dare the other say that? A heated argument, and they ignore each other – then, true love conquers all! They go running back into each others’ arms – and so on.

Both of them are terrible at boundaries regarding both privacy and physical touch. It’s nothing with malicious intent, but Mr. Doxxing and Ms. I-Followed-You-To-Your-Job would not have normal ideas about privacy, I’m sorry asdfsadf. Not only do they overstep for the other, but they don’t do anything to seriously stop the other from overstepping (see previous point of getting loudly angry but it’s all bark and no bite from both ends.) 

Each one secretly thinks they’re “fixing” the other. They love each other and love all their traits, they just also think they can help them be happier by changing a little bit. Fuuta is raised to believe men shouldn’t go on and on about their emotions, and thinks he can tone down Mahiru’s over the top emotional reactions over time so she’s calmer and happier. Meanwhile, Mahiru believes she can crack Fuuta’s poor communication and get him to spill his guts to her. He thinks she deserves to be honest about her negative emotions and tries to get her to say/do meaner things. She thinks he’d have a better social group if he was conventionally polite and sweet, and tries to change that. Maybe this loops back to boundaries, but they keep trying to pull the other out of their comfort zone, genuinely thinking they’d be happier for it.

Now, I actually think in the outside world I think they’d both be normal about it, but I do believe that Milgram’s psychological stress and panic would bring out their jealous sides. With so many allies and enemies and high emotions going around, they’d get consumed by doubt and worry when the other shows juuust too much kindness toward someone else…

Both believe that love is shown through Big Gestures and also have very little self-worth, so you can bet they’re committing the most wild acts of self sacrifice for each other when they get the chance. Throwing away sleep, meals and safety in grand shows of love, and “please forgive Mahiru-san” levels of promises. Their heads filled with fairy tales, they both think The Most Romantic thing possible is laying down their sword and dying in the others’ arms covered in blood.

Gonna say it again, "Just stop consuming the genre" is THE WORST POSSIBLE RESPONSE to someone complaining about the lack of representation in their preferred genre!! And "Consume other stuff too" is not much better!!! I don't care how much you think varying media consumption is a Good and Holy lifestyle, not everyone wants to do that! There is no obligation to do that and there should not be! Because it's fucking entertainment. It's not a college major.

And! And and and. I would be remiss to not point out that when you tell someone, "If you want well written (minority) just get out of (genre fandom)" you are, regardless of your motivations, rhetorically aligning yourself with the exact same bigots who just want the pro-representation crowd to shut up and go away.

I don't like coming off as rude when replying (sometimes it's bound to happen but I actively avoid it). But you know what? I think I'm a bit tired of people being a little rude to ME.
