Is this just Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality
I always repeat myself with this, but if you are making a "wizard" character (here anyone who has supernatural *powers*) you should forget the D&D "I cast Fireball for 8d6 damage" and start thinking of magic as a spiritual practice.
Because you will be suprised that people who believe in magic, that is, the supernatural having a real effect on the material world, exist. And these beliefs don't appear in a vacuum but are part of a worldview and cosmovision about the world. Think about alchemists, esoteric schools, monastic orders, folk healers and diviners. They don't exist, they NEVER existed in a vacuum, they all belonged to different, complex and well defined traditions with a cosmovision.
And more than that, their engagement with the supernatural has a spiritual component to it; enlightenment, salvation, worship, cultivation. Yes, there is often a desired effect on the material world, for example, Taoist sages often sought fortifying the body, alchemists the transmutation of matter. But you will realize that these are not just ideas in a vacuum, they weren't just 'casting spells', they were doing a spiritual practice within their vision of the world.
So instead of making a wizard character who is a DPS or whatever, ask yourself what does he believe in and the answers might be more interesting that how many fireballs a minute can he throw.

yall will respect disabled people until theyre the "funny" disabilities and it pisses me off.
i am a little person. i am 4'0, i have ccd and achondroplasia. i have various other genetic conditions that affect me but i will be mentioning my identity as a little person mostly.
quit using little people as the butt of your jokes. no, you cant use the m slur it is a slur, no you cant call us gnomes or elves or dwarves or whatever the fuck you call us. we are real people, we arent little characters or creatures. we are LIVING BREATHING PEOPLE. quit treating us like kids or idiots. you dont have to baby us. quit making fun of little people's heights, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WITH DISPROPORTIONATE DWARFISM. you are fucking ableist if you make fun of little people, you dont see us as people you see us a joke. im sick and tired of people i love and care for treating me as if im a joke and making fun of my height. fuck off
i dont care if we "look funny" or "haha tiny" its so fucking annoying and disrespectful to be treated as if the body isnt a living, breathing, full grown adult.
be better.

chemical castration: we've all heard of this one, drugs to tank your testosterone. they're probably putting them in the water
physical castration: just cutting them off. old school classic type shit. this is how real men do it
psychological castration: whatever I've got going on I guess
astronomical castration: deorbiting moons? taking down phobos and deimos for example. castrating the masculine symbol of war Mars would likely have significant horoscopic effects so there's an "astrological castration" link here too
geological castration: dangle your balls into the gap between two tectonic plates and wait

That sword is ruining her life and she doesn't even know what a pommel is ://
Also I finished my program like 5 days ago which means a) I now have to face The Horrors (dead industry) and b) I now have time to make art/fanart without feeling immense guilt and/or dread. So here's everyone's favourite sad creature. Detailed shot w/out face paint under the cut.

i'm listening to gathering moss, by robin wall kimmerer, and she is talking about a very odd job she was consigned to do, where an eccentric millionaire recuited her to consult on a "habitat restoration". when she arrives, the job they actually want her to do is to tell them how to plant mosses on the rocks in his garden. he wants it to look like a specific, beautiful wild cliff in the woods nearby, with centuries-old beds of moss growing thick and strong. she tells him it is impossible. such a thing would take decades to accomplish.
later, she is called back to look at the progress of the moss garden and is amazed by the thick, well-established mosses. how did they do it? she asks.
then they take her out to the woods and show her that they have been blasting huge chunks of rock out of the cliff, packaging them in burlap, and moving them to the owner's garden.

"everyone should care about accessibility because most people will become disabled at some point in their life" is a logical argument and I understand its popularity
however, everyone should care about accessibility because disabled people are fellow human beings living in the same society as you who deserve the same rights as you
thank you good night
