Do you see yourself as nonhuman? Do you think of yourself as nonhuman? Would you prefer to be nonhuman rather than human because that's who you are? Then yeah, you're nonhuman. :) Oh, and that's called kemonomimi. I myself am kemonomimi-kin. You can also just dress in the style kemonomimi, which is not yet popularized on this site, but it's pretty damn epic. :)

Sigh. Okay. I need some insight on this.

So otherkin / therians. I understand what it is, understand their experience and am open minded to them as a whole.

But I'm having a hard time determining my own connection to therianthropy. So my internal view of myself is similar to that of a cat boy - mostly human, but having feline like traits (cat ears, tail, claws, paw pads on humanoid hands). I wish I had these traits physically. But is that enough to be a therian? I'm not sure if my internal view of myself being mostly human is "therian enough". I do feel as if being connected to felines and cat boys feels related to my gender identity as well, so it's not like I can completely ignore it? But is that being a therian? Is that being catgender? But it's not FULLY a cat, it's closer to being a human with cat like traits.

...anyone have any insight for this? Or am I not a therian?
