The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update 07/June/2024

Super quick one this week ‘cause I really want to dive back into it!

It was social media days this week, and the internet held out long enough for me to actually get everything completed! Yay!

I also put in an extra quite large variation to a scene for the end of Chapter Two. But it wasn’t just one variation but a choice I had to add for each Love Interest route, the love triangle, and the friend route…phew!

I had thought about adding more, but it just doesn’t seem appropriate for that moment, plus it’s one of the romance moment where it kind of has to happen for the romances to actually build :D

Throughout the series there are key—or ‘anchor’ moments, I sometimes call them—where the building blocks of the romance needs to happen for the bonds to really form.

This was definitely one of those moments!

Both of F’s variations for this particular scene though…*chef’s kiss* They really suit this type of dramatic moment to bring out the dialogue to pull at your heartstrings, hehe!

With those done, I can get back to editing and doing rewrites on the rest, which is what I’ll be jumping back into now!
