(there will still be a post tomorrow to keep on track)#The original 3 panel comic idea was fine but the point of this new schedule was to take time to push myself a bit more.#I was taking a look back through some comic artists I felt inspired by #and I really loved how Lynda Barry fills her gutters with patterns and doodles!#Obviously I'm not going as absolutely wild with it as she does but it was a great exercise!#I truly think the gutters are the most important and most overlooked part of any comic. There's lots going on in that space.#It's the same with timeskips. The implied movement between moments that we don't see changes depending on how wide that gap is #You're here for the funny tags so here's some that ties this time talk together:#I think LWJ was thinking about that second note from day 2 but it took him 7 days of hazing to commit it to paper.#I think he sends it a day later and immediately regrets it. Chasing down the messenger and everything.#You know if something actually happened to his brother he would never ever forgive himself for putting the bad vibes out there.#Third time skip was the hardest because there was so many possible flavours of jokes here. Day 8/9 was a personal favourite.#day 14 was also funny (week by week). I think the debate on 'how long does lwj take to catch feelings' is more or less:#'how long does it take for him to arrive at a particular stage of grief and yearning (and awareness of it all)#This is a symphony. There is an act by act structure. Every day he is fighting to keep his old sensibilities. He is losing so badly.#(I'll be returning to the main comic soon but there is more of this AU to come!)

After the whole pariah thing and him accidentally become ghost king. Danny is annoyed. Then sam and tucker accidentally become royal advisors.

Shouldn’t have touched the book apparently.

Jazz touched the crown it recognized her as Danny’s family and poof. Another royal member. Same with Danielle.

He as phantom had to stop kwan and dash from accepting training from fright knight. He really didn’t want them to agree then be bound to serve the realm as knights.

But they didn’t listen. So yay. New knights.

Danny doesn’t need help with the ghost. No he needs help to shut the portal down because people are accidentally getting roped into the royal court and royal family in the realms. Can the league please turned the portals off.

So he decides if the league won’t respond to calls, texts and emails. He’ll confront them. He portals in a the middle of a meeting crown and all.

Danny: i get you all seem to think the whole amity park situation is a prank. But can you not? Like I was human and now I’m king. With how things are going I’m concerned another teenager is going to accidentally become royalty for the infinite realms. So please deal with the government and mad scientist. Then get the portal shut down. Thanks.

Resurrected Morro AU except Morro purposely stays and hides in caves to guilt trip the ninja with his trauma.

“Oh, so you want me to die in a cave AGAIN???” The water ninja pauses where she was gonna cause a cave in, raises her hands up, and steps back.

“Hey, if you and the earth ninja team up, maybe you can recreate my death by adding lava!” He says to the fire and earth ninja, who proceed to trip over their feet as the earth ninja stares at him horrified, the fire one seeming to actually contemplate it for a second.

“At least i won’t be alone in my untimely demise this time.” As he side eyes Wu. Who is trying to either drag Morro out of the cave or die in there with him this time.

And the only reason he does it is because not only is he petty, but he’s sick of Lloyd and the others guilt tripping him constantly. Like ok, sorry i turned you into a ghost and gave all of you trauma and took away your free will, but tbh is it really my fault?

Yes, Morro, it was.

There's this thing about Damian using hair gel to style his hair and I think it's adorable. Mainly because my little brother used to have this kids hair gel, green goo ah looking gel he uses everytime when he goes to school when he's younger. He was so happy and funky with it too it's hilarious.

Is this what Dick Grayson felt when he saw Damian with that big ass spiky hair (esp in the supersons movie it's hilarious).

But I think he stopped using gel mainly because he was using like half of the container all the time just for single day, my mom did buy more at first until my mom just stopped buying him gel because he was wasting so much.

Now I am just thinking of Damian with half of a container worth of gel on his hair. I'm crying.

Do we think odysseus started pranking Athena and her temples at some point? Because I do. He argued that it was good for sneaking and evading training. And you know what Athena couldn't argue that. Her chasing odysseus across the island was good training.

Here are the tricky dialogue comic bits for my Chai-tentatively-joins-Vandelay AU -- there are so many speech bubbles in these images. The rest under the read more is focussed on filling in a few of the gaps I haven't covered yet, solely Chai and Kale stuff.

To preface, I apologise for the absolutely stupid and cliche pages - that are supposed to be pivotal for these two - I decided to draw lower down this post. It would not leave my mind and so I had to manifest it.

While this has some linearity between pages I did leave a couple gaps because I didn't want to iron out the dialogue or events (I've been thinking about this almost exclusively for a year but I'm still not sure what to go with) and I've already drawn these two too many times during this drawn-out, self-inflicted, errr, thing. Still shaky on drawing stuff from the game events proper, doesn't sit right with me but nothing really changes (not sure really) because of the motivations of the main characters.

Something that partly influenced this batch was this one yt comment that said that In A Blink's lyrics / vampire theming weren't supposed to be homoerotic and were just about capitalism, and I thought "why not both?". Anyway, thanks for reading.
