Great news! Workers are going to be treated fairly, and Stranger Things 5 is not going to be delayed by another strike!
For some context, Hollywood Basic Crafts (IATSE, the Teamsters, and others) are unions for ground workers (drivers, location managers, animal handlers, etc.) in Hollywood. After 5 weeks of negotiations going poorly, they were ready to go on strike. Said strike would have halted basically all Hollywood production like SAG-AFTRA’s did. They’ve managed to come to a tenative agreement before their contract expiration date (July 31st).
