Hero vs Hero fights are great.
Often a clash of morals or objectives, Training, or maybe one hero is going to go too far.
In the first situation, Usually end in a draw because someone stops it before it gets serious, often a villain attack. Heroes get to show off cool moves, you usually get to see why the heroes are so skilled.
In the training scenario, the more experienced hero or mentor hero will stop it after easily winning, or the novice hero shows potential.
In the last one, the hero that is going to go to far either becomes an anti-hero at the end, or realizes the error of their ways.
VILLAIN VS VILLAIN fights on the other hand are rare and AMAZING.
Often falling into the following camps, Betrayal from an underling, a clash with objectives of another villain, or Big bad fighting the new BIGGER bad/ changing of the guard.
I love villain fights because they are usually to the death. Villains wont hold back and will kill if the foes is a threat. Though depending on the scenario impacts the mortality rates.
In the betrayal scenario. If the traitor wins, the Main villain is usurped, often left for dead or sealed away. Though the main villain may come back later to take back what is theirs. Unless its the final arc, in which case the betrayer is often the main villain now. often killing and/or absorbing the previous villains power
In the two villains clashing over a similar objective, its often to the death or gets interrupted because heroes get involved. But if the fight is played out completely, it usually ends in death. Though on the rate occasion, the villain that wins will choose humiliation of the foe, stripping the foe of their powers, sealing them away, or turning them into an underling.
In the case of Old villain versus new villain. Thats when you get to see how big the new villain threat is. End result is usually killing or sealing the old villain. Sometimes, old villains end up in a temp alliance with the heroes or get downgraded to a minion role

"they just made velvette LESBIAN so we wouldnt ship her with Val and Vox >:["
W... why were you shipping her with Val and Vox after the whole her being basically their service animal and/or child shit the crew did? Plus she literally has very little chemistry with those fools to begin with, rarely does she have spoken lines when she's around them!
Maybe... just MAYBE she's a lesbian just coz lesbians, yknow... exist? ngl I saw it coming from a mile away, and i dunno why.
Also stuff about her being a stereotype, specifically a "sassy black lesbian", but honestly why is it a pattern to call all lesbians, no matter the media, some sort of stereotype? Is she a racial stereotype? probably, yeah. But is she a LESBIAN stereotype? nope.
I don’t personally ship the trio together but I do get the potential and appeal. Three powerful overlords with clashing yet similar personalities collaborating for superficial purposes but later blossoms into a friendship. Each member shows their care for one another, in the process developing feelings. The Vees give me “ride or die” vibes.
My fanfic aside, you are right about the whole Velvette being Valentino’s emotional support animal/daughter figure. From what I’ve seen, it’s mainly been Sam (probablyfakeblonde) who has been drawing them as these scenarios.
The real question is that does the previous Anon know about this information? I don’t expect them to know every bits and details because most of the time it’s retconned or not canon.

Either way, I’m not surprised the Vees aren’t poly. I’ve seen more artwork from the Spindlehorse crew of Vox and Valentino getting their freak on.

TW!!! — blood, scarring and mild body horror ahead 🥲
benny’s turn!

before i start i wanna clarify i hesitated a bit on posting this because lovely mutual @vor-leser just posted his benny interpretation (go look at it and follow him btw), and idk if we like mind melded or smth but our human benny’s are super similar LOL. i damn near scrapped the whole thing out of fear someone would get mad at me but i Would Not be able to start over and get this done ever so this is as good as we’re gonna get. 😭 my apologies niko love u /p
this has been like a full 7 days in the making 😭😭 the art block that i felt coming on while doing ellen and ted hit me like an optimus prime sized semi truck this week along with a depressive episode so i definitely appreciate that happening and i am not upset about it at all! /s i’m totally good so don’t worry or anything /gen, mental health is just weird and i also wanted to explain the gap in my posts 😔
i do not know how to feel about this drawing if i’m so fr with you; i’m proud of myself for AM-ified benny cause i think i got the slowly rotting from the inside out primal freak energy down pretty good, but on the other hand this feels kinda empty?? i usually have a lot more commentary squished in here but i think my brain’s a little fried 🤦♂️ i love drawing me some beautiful buff men though so drawing normal ben was familiar territory. however his wack ass haircut i gave him is his punishment for being a PRICK!!! go sit in the corner and think about ur actions benjamin.
like ted n the rest of the sillies i’m not straying too far from canon with his personality, he’s an ass and a murderer and a hella smart dickhead who desperately needs to be punished by the universe (thank you for that one AM). hot take i did not like his “redemption arc” in his game scenario and i don’t think with how he was throughout the entirety of his life (and also throughout the game, main example his inner dialogue) he would actually go out of his way to help the kid because he means it??? n prove he changed to the guys he killed cause he means it??? i dunno maybe AM torturing him made him have a main character “omg i’ve been in the wrong this whole time!!1” moment like the game suggests i’m just not buying it 💀 i’m sure it’s just cause bennys scenario couldn’t be too long and they couldn’t fully flesh him out which i won’t fault the game makers for. i’m a steven universe fan, i know what time constrictions can do to a plot and redemption arc 😭 looking at you white diamond…
his wife n kids are up top and they’re kinda neat to me— i was considering the hc that part of the reason manya (his canon wife) left him is because she realized she was a lesbian which would be funny as fuck considering benny’s also One Of Them Queers 😭. i think during the brief times he was home and able to parent his daughters they got really scared and tired of him, one because he’s just a very threatening powerful and overbearing man, but also because i feel like he would’ve been on their ASS about everything. grades, extracurriculars, friends, wardrobe, this guy was micromanaging his family to an annoying extreme (ofc because of his perfectionist complex). he probably loved manya and the kids in his own weird way, but it was more contractual to him than any real personal relationship. maybe he inherited that from his own parents?? i doubt he ever talked to them after he moved out.
that’s about the end of my thoughts on this fucker. 🥲 funny storyyyy i just remembered i have laundry to finish so im gonna go do that, lord help me. thank you for reading all this if you did!!!!! we’re over halfway through so who do yall want next? wanna save AM or nimdok for last? i’ll see u guys later :]]]
#benny ihnmaims#ihnmaims#i have no mouth and i must scream#digital art#sorry if the blood looks strange it’s been a while since my creepypasta prime and i’ve lowkey forgotten#that and the tears too eventually i’ll rework my way of drawing them#ok goodnight honk shoooo mimimimimi#WAIT NO MY LAUNDRY

Hello!! I've read all your hp works and I wanted to say that I love them all and they've made me feel feelings. The way you write drarry and just hp in general is very close to my heart.
That being said, there is a question I wanted to ask you as a writer. What does plagiarism mean and what does it constitute? Like... I hear that term a lot but just reading a definition is not making it clear to me. As far as I understand, copying someone's work, word by word is plagiarism. Does it also count as one if I copy someone's idea but just modify it a bit. Carry on is such a work and it's resemblance to hp and main pairs similarity to drarry are well known. Even hp itself has a evident similarity to Neil Gaiman's ‘The books of magic’ , at least as far as the titular character goes. It was also said that maybe jk stole the idea from there but Neil later said that it wasn't the case. So I'm guessing that's not plagiarism.
Let's take another example, I love you fic away childish things .. so if I wrote a fic with the same idea.. is that plagiarism? Or if I copy the plot? What if I liked a particular scene very much.. or a sentence very much and I used it as a base for a new fic.. or used that scene/sentence itself but in a different context is that plagiarism? I'm sure a lot of people have read Running On Air by eleventy7 in the drarry fandom. So if I use the sentence “Going away is easy, coming home is hard.” in a fic I write (maybe in another fandom or the same) does that count as plagiarism? Ofc I'm assuming that other people will know which scene or sentence I'm using on account of said fic being a famous work (in this case, fandom). But there could be a case where the source is not well known. What if I took something from a particular folktale of a community or country? Would that count as plagiarism? Jk Rowling herself has said that she used a lot of info while writing hp from various stories, folktales, religious books, lore and some good old tropes of said genre and pure imagination. Most of it was done unconsciously while writing. I guess it doesn't count as plagiarism if the place where you're copying from doesn't have a particular author (for eg folktales etc). Like.. God is not gonna sue me if I wrote things similar to some religious text. His followers on the other hand... yeah best not go there haha. But yeah.. what if I used different things from various sources, like.. just picking my way across it all and using them to write a story, just mish mashing things together like a collage and making something out of it. Will that be plagiarism? Or is that just being inspired by other art? On the other hand there is a saying that every art has a genesis and nothing is original. Every work is inspired by some other work be it art, music, writing or whatever. So where does one draw a line between inspiration and plagiarism?
I know it's a very long ask and I'm using a lot of scenarios but I wanted to cover everything that might come under the word 'Plagiarism'. What are your thoughts on it? What is included in plagiarism? Specifically, in writing.
If you made it this far thank you for reading where i essentially just ramble lol. I would like to know your answer and if you have any reading material on it please point me towards them. Thank you and I hope you're doing well xoxo
Plagiarism is copying word for word. It's one kind of stealing.
Copyright infringement is also a kind of stealing. That's a legal term about copyrighted material, but laws from some countries around this issue can maybe help clarify what is socially considered stealing and what is considered fair use. "Fair use" is also a legal term (at least, in the US); it refers to reasons you can use a copyrighted work without permission. I think that what many people socially consider "not stealing," even though its using someone else's ideas, falls under fair use.
Fanfic generally falls under fair use. The Organization for Transformative Works (OTW)--which is the organization behind AO3--argues that while fanfic uses things like characters and settings from copyrighted work, fic falls under fair use because it is creative and transformative.
The transformative part is important. If you copied Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone word for word and put it on AO3, that would be plagiarism. It's not transformed in any way. But if you write a story in which Harry and Draco fall in love, you're significantly transforming the story in a way that progresses the world of literature.
Other attributes of fair use (beyond whether the work is transformative) include whether the work is done for profit, whether the market for the original copyrighted work will be impacted negatively by the derivative work, and how substantially the derivative work uses the original copyrighted work. Fanfic uses the original copyrighted work quite substantially in many cases, but if it doesn't impact the market for the original copyrighted work and isn't done for profit, that shouldn't disqualify it from fair use. This is why it's extremely important never to ask for money for a fanfic, and why any author doing that should be reported to the hosting site.
Now, you asked about the Harry Potter series. While JKR may have gotten ideas about kids attending magical schools from other books, HP differs significantly enough that whenever she was sued for copyright infringement, she won her cases. Some might call JKR's books a ripoff of other books like it, but most agree that while not terribly original, these books do not count as stealing. (I would add, though, that just because someone wins a case doesn't mean it's not stealing. Disney steal shit all the time but wins cases because they own everything.)
You also asked about Carry On. I would say about that series, too, that it is substantially different enough from other books, that it doesn't count as stealing. There are just lots of books about kids secretly going to magic school, as it turns out. But I would add that even if there were more similarities to HP than there are in Carry On, Carry On could not be considered theft, because it is transformative.
Carry On, like Lev Grossman's The Magicians, is in a conversation with books like Harry Potter, books about magical schools and books with young, Chosen One protagonists. Carry On is not a fanfic; the characters are not the same; the set-up is not the same; the plot is not the same. But it is a book that asks questions about Harry Potter, and other books like Harry Potter. It's asking, what does it mean to be the Chosen One? Isn't there something sinister about a supportive mentor figure who pushes young people into war? Suzanne Collins's The Hunger Games is also in a conversation with books that have young Chosen Ones, and it asks the same questions. Carry On further asks, isn't there a strange chemistry between the archetypal Golden Boy protagonist and the archetypal schoolmate antagonist? That's something tons of high school romance stories ask, and tons of HP fics, but it wasn't something that hadn't yet been done in a magical school Chosen One series--not with homosexuality--which also makes it pretty damn transformative.
You asked about using a line from Running on Air in a different work. This is plagiarism, because it's the exact words. Using that sentence in any work would be plagiarism. Using the exact sentence that someone else wrote, not matter how well known the work, is plagiarism. You likely won't be sued, but it's still stealing in most cases.
Now, it could be acceptable to use a phrase from the sentence to reference Running on Air. You'll see this in a lot of older literature. You'll see a little phrase in quotes that isn't credited, but your Penguin footnote will tell you they were referencing another author there. That was common because everyone was expected to have read the same body of work in certain cultures.
In fandom, lots of people will have read the same fics, so it could be a nod to another author to quote their work in a fic of your own. That's generally not the culture, mostly because the reason authors would do that had more to do with literary ideas that story telling, and most fic has a focus on storytelling. And, because fandom is a non-professional community where it's easy to reach out directly to the authors, if you do want to quote something by a different author, the author should be asked--again, because that's the culture.
Some material is so often quoted that it's idiomatic. If you say "I put away childish things" in a work, that may be from the Bible, but most people know where it's from, and even if they don't, it's part of our language now. Same would be true if I put in a work "Parting is such sweet sorrow," which is from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Few would call it stealing if I didn't credit such sentences, but if you're not sure whether it's idiomatic, a place where you're using the exact words should be credited with a footnote or citation.
You asked about using a line from a folk tale. As you say, folk tales often don't have known authors--but more importantly for your question, they usually don't have definitive versions. There are literally thousands of versions of Cinderella. If you used an exact sentence the Brothers Grimm used in their version of Cinderella, that would be plagiarism. Any exact language from an extant version of the story would be the same way.
A lot of what I'm saying is about how law works (particularly in the US), which deals with what might be socially acceptable in terms of whether something is stealing or not. But many cultures do have oral traditions that have a specific way a story is told. I would argue that's still a specific version, and if you're quoting the exact language, it's still stealing. But lots and lots of cultures have stories they like to tell but always tell it a little different, in which case you might be stealing ideas but not plagiarizing. And some things that are said enough, such as "Once upon a time" and "And they lived happily ever after" are idiomatic and not consider plagiarism.
But idioms touch on an interesting topic related to idea theft, which is how likely it is that you came up with something on your own, or that anyone could without the original text. The line you quoted from Running on Air is unique, but the idea that coming home is hard is commonly accepted. Indeed, there is an idiom that states "You can't go home again," which refers to the difficulty of coming home again.
Therefore, if someone said, "Going home is difficult," it might be a paraphrase of the sentence from Running on Air, but it might also be a paraphrase of the idiom, and it would be a little silly to call that plagiarism. Paraphrasing can be plagiarism, but it depends on a) how closely the paraphrase hews to the original, b) how much is paraphrased (as soon as you're paraphrasing more than a line, it really starts to be plagiarism), and c) whether someone could reasonably come up with it themselves.
So, if someone said, "Leaving home isn't difficult, but going home again is," that paraphrase is a lot more directly related to the original sentence and could be considered plagiarism. However, in a story without any other Running on Air references or similarities, I would assume an author came up with that based on the idiom and would never even dream of accusing them of plagiarism. But if the next two sentences were also similar to lines from Running on Air, I'd get suspicious.
In fact, the original line you quoted is close enough to the idiom that if I read it in a different story, I might assume that the author hadn't remembered that that line was from Running on Air. This has definitely happened to me--I used a line or phrase that I thought was mine, but I actually got it from somewhere else. If you're doing it consciously, you shouldn't. With paraphrasing, I think it's a little dicier; some would say if you're consciously paraphrasing anything it's a problem, but if you know you read that line from Running on Air but also know you've thought about that idiom about coming home a lot, it might be fine to say something sort of similar, as long as it's not the same and as long as you're not taking other things.
The same is true with ideas. You asked about Away Childish Things. If you read that fic and decided to write a fic about Harry de-aging, you might have been inspired by me, but it isn't stealing because de-aging is a common trope in fandom. You could've come up with it yourself or by reading any number of things. You asked about the plot; if you wrote a story in which Harry and Draco got to know each other by identifying illegal potions and then while doing some of that work together, Harry got de-aged and later Draco got de-aged, I would still say that this is a plot you could have thought of yourself. If you wrote a story in which everyone was infected by a potion that was like Imperius, meaning Harry only trusted Draco to help him, and Harry de-aged, and then to cure him Harry re-aged and then Draco de-aged, and could only re-age one year at a time, dealing with all of their Hogwarts years again and revealing Draco's history with his mentally ill mother and Muggle dating, I would say...okay, that's hewing pretty closely to Away Childish Things and feels a bit like you took something from me.
If you called a shop in your fic Tailored Tinctures, that's very specific, and I would say you took something from me. If you had an indicator solution in which you had to dip your thumb and your thumb turned cerulean to indicate a positive, I would say you took something from me. For these kinds of questions, it has to do with the amount you took but also the specificity of it.
As I mentioned, fandom has its own culture. Usually if you get an idea from someone else it's a very good idea to drop that author a line and say, "Hey, I got inspired, do you mind if I do?" But I don't do that when there are a hundred fics that all have the same idea, because by then it's starting to be fanon, and using fanon is not considered in this culture to be stealing.
Different people have different ideas about this, but I do feel that I'm pretty close to the general thought on this. Some people will say that any time you are inspired by anything you must credit, or you must ask, or you must never use it to begin with. But most of us are inspired by things all the time, and the only times we claim we aren't are the times when we really can't remember what the original inspiration was, or when things are so jumbled that ten different things inspired one idea. In those cases it isn't true that we aren't using other works, only that we can't identify them.

yandere zane ninjago x nindroid darling who also has (unspecified) elemental powers if you can ofc!!!
I'll see what I can come up with, sure! Pardon me if I get Zane lore wrong, I never finished the show so this is a 'what if' Scenario :(
Yandere! Zane with Nindroid! Darling
Pairing: Platonic/Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Overprotective behavior, Manipulation, Slight jealousy, Isolation, Dubious companionship/relationship.
The one idea that comes to mind would be you and Zane being built together.
You and Zane were meant to be a pair.
It was like you were supposed to be companions to each other.
Unfortunately, somehow you two were separated.
You're both old model Nindroids but Zane barely has any memory of you.
You were probably deactivated and put into storage...
Only to be found later in a newer era.
That's the general idea I have when it comes to how Zane and you knew each other.
You were meant to be a way to keep Zane from being lonely.
Whether as a sibling or a partner is completely up to you.
You were quite literally built alongside him and for him.
This may also explain why you're capable of elemental power.
Since you and Zane are very similar.
Imagine if the ninja kept finding blueprints of another Nindroid but you were nowhere in sight.
Zane vaguely thinks the pictures are familiar, yet can't pin point anything.
It isn't until you're found and reactivated safely that anything really develops.
Zane suddenly feels a connection to you when you activate.
You're familiar and by looking at your blueprints and memories...
You two used to be close.
Zane feels bad his memories didn't click until now.
You were his first companion and he hasn't remembered you until now.
Despite that... He also feels like he's known you forever.
This scenario gives Zane a reason to obsess over a Nindroid other than just meeting you and developing a fascination.
Zane would feel even more of a connection as you're capable of elements too.
You didn't specify one so you can either choose one or be able to swap them out through some technological means.
Zane would probably try to have you upgraded like him.
After all, by the time they find you, your tech may be outdated.
Zane would feel protective since you're technically the closest person to him.
He'd be curious to know more about you just to properly fill his memory bank.
There's just a certain connection with you that no one else has.
Which makes sense as you two were built with a bond.
Meant to be bonded.
That built in connection would cause his obsession, perhaps after being corrupted.
How was it corrupted?
Maybe when he was helping upgrade you, some code went where it wasn't supposed to...
Which tosses you both into trouble.
Or maybe the reason you were separated was because he was always like this towards you.
Zane would try to justify his obsession.
He watches over you, carefully watches and analyzes how you interact with the other ninja, all with this oddly fond yet unnerving stare...
When others bring it up, or even you, Zane simply doesn't think it's creepy.
This should be normal between you!
Don't you trust him?
You can't know anyone else like he does with you!
It's simply improbable due to the connection you two have.
I imagine this would make it hard to leave him.
Zane, due to your bond, is under the impression you two are meant to be.
Doesn't matter how.
He just feels you can't leave one another.
He'd be desperate to convince you or keep that connection.
To the point he comes off as protective or even possessive at times.
Zane is unintentionally isolating.
He's so focused on the idea of you two being meant to be that he often doesn't consider how you feel at times.
You may want to interact with the other ninja, yet Zane is suffocating.
He doesn't comprehend the idea of you being or wanting to be away from him.
After all, don't you feel it too?
You're two halves of one whole.
Which draws him to you.
Zane isn't really violent, in fact he's oblivious to how wrong his obsession is.
He always wants to be around, always wants to spend time with you...
Zane wants to be as important to you as you are to him.
It wouldn't make sense if you went to any other.
While he doesn't kill out of jealousy, he may be violent if you were threatened or someone suggested something was wrong.
He doesn't understand, nothing's wrong?
Him wanting to be around you all the time can't be wrong.
Why would it be?
Isolation? That's not what this is!
The others just don't understand... and you're just confused.
What he's doing isn't wrong...
You two are meant to be... literally built for one another.
Is wanting to be by your side forever, inseparable, all that bad if you're meant to be?

Looking at some of the latest photos of tayvis, it just seemed to me like maybe she’s 100% documenting her life of bearding for a later in life full length documentary of how she had to navigate through all the different scenarios and stay closeted until she could actually step forward as her true self. All the “contracts” she had to draw up and sign and then execute the show she had to put on with each beard. Talk about a bombshell and fascinating story that would be. P.S. thank you for everything you do Spade!♠️
I was saying to a mutual that I felt something similar but you phrased it better than I did. 😊

Okay, so.....
Y'all, we need to talk about this fic and how any AU with a similar premise would be the perfect way to explain whatever connection Alucard has with Olrox ->
I need everyone to imagine the many possibilities that open up for how the two could've met in this type of scenario!!!!
Alucard would be an absolute mess in a situation like the one we see portrayed here, it is literally the second lowest point of his life after what he went through in canon, and the depression alone would be dangerously close to killing him.
Maybe Alucard allows himself to weaken out of grief and hopelessness while he's traveling, maybe he enters a fight that he can't possibly win in such a condition, maybe he's fully prepared to accept an outcome involving defeat.
Maybe that's when he crosses paths with Olrox, who just has to step in and save him out of pure, morbid curiosity - because a dead son of Dracula can't tell him why they seem all too eager to die.
Alucard is surly and aggressive when the dust settles, hardly thankful to Olrox for prolonging his miserable existence, old oath to protect humanity by using said existence for good be damned if he couldn't even keep the descendants of his two closest companions safe.
But Olrox follows him like a second shadow anyway, still curious, still hellbent on solving the puzzle that is Adrian Tepes.
Eventually, by some miracle, he manages to annoy Alucard into cooperating. He helps the dhampir treat old wounds and get's him to seek out some nourishment for future healing, all while rooting for scraps of information until Alucard finally tells him the story of all that brought him here.
Against all odds the two actually start sort of getting along after that, and they remain as friendly travelling companions for a while, perhaps until another calling draws Olrox away.
Alucard sees him off with grace, the bone deep loneliness never having left, despite Olrox's presence having dulled it.
And thus we have the extremely complicated history of pre-"Wow, I'mma kill this Belmont" Olrox and Alucard.
He has a vested interest in Alucard's survival as of Nocturne canon because he didn't spend months chasing an anti-social dhampir around only for said dhampir to get themselves killed later.

i dont know whether youve established this or not but for ur p!noah au, what does phobia factor look like? (if he makes it that far)
I've got a few ideas for how Noah (both in general and in this AU) would behave in the Phobia Factor episode!
My first idea, which works better for a more canon-adjacent Noah, is to have him either genuinely fall asleep at the campfire or feign falling asleep at the campfire- so he doesn't have to divulge his "greatest fear" in front of the others.
Because Noah's a very private person; both his fellow competitors and the audience at large know very little about him, and those who try to are often met with his sour, prickly exterior. Why on Earth would he ever willingly share his greatest fear on international TV with a bunch of people he doesn't even like?
(And, as we saw in the Awake-a-thon episode, pretending to pass out is something Noah would and does do to get out of uncomfortable situations.)
Of course, that scenario could be ruined by having one of the mlre confrontational characters (like Heather) shake him awake to hear his answer. But, ideally, it'd end up being more of a Courtney situation, where he never does give an answer, but Chris finds something in the shows footage that indicates Noah has a fear of [insert phobia here].
Then there's the second scenario, where Noah just straight up lies about what he's scared of (and I'm surprised no one else did this canonically). Again, why would he tell people what he's actually scared of? So he picks one of the most common phobias and runs with it- something innocuous, like a fear of the dark, or claustrophobia. Or maybe he decides to be a smartass and chooses some obscure or 'ridiculous' phobia instead, like ailurophobia/cynophpbia (fear of cats/dogs), on the off-chance that they'll have to face them as part of a challenge.
In the case of p!Noah, I think he'd do something similar to the second scenario, but claim his 'biggest fear' is hemophobia (fear of blood)- a bold claim for someone's who's decidedly Not Afraid Of Blood, in fact he's quite fond of it. Of course, no one else has any way of knowing this, so it's accepted as truth.
As a side note here, I kind of touched upon this before but p!Noah doesn't really experience fear like others do- that's why he's so amused by other's fear responses, since he lacks one of his own. It's also why he's such a thrill-seeker, he gets all of the adrenaline and none of the actual fear.
And then the Phobia Factor challenge happens. Noah's tasked with submerging himself in a pool of blood, similar to Beth's pool of worms, to earn his team a point.
Noah's fine with this. (More than fine, really. Red is a pretty colour.) But he can't let the others know that, or he'd be caught out in his lie. But he also doesn't want to lose this challenge. So he gingerly climbs into the pool, doing his best to fake fear and revulsion to... mixed results. He doesn't understand things like fear, panic and terror at a personal level, so for the most part he just looks like a soggy unamused cat. Despite how much he really wants to splash about, or get lost in the sauce.
(Maybe the more switched on of his team mates pick up on the maddened glee in his eyes as he floats in a pool of blood, or his almost carefully crafted stoicism- a far cry from everyone else's screams of terror.)
He wins a point for the team, and that's that.
Remember, Noah's strategy here is to be as unremarkable as possible; he wouldn't go out of his way to draw attention to himself. Especially not when Izzy’s still around to cause chaos for him.
...That doesn't mean he won't later make a confessional, still dripping in 'blood', where he complains to the audience that Chris used the 'fake shit' for his challenge for the budgets sake. Noah can tell! He knows the feeling of being covered in real blood.
#secret third option is having him sarcastically comment that eva gave him gynophobia#total drama#psycho!noah au#silly ideas#replies#tw blood

About the reaction of Gregory in the latest Kuro ep
Here are some theories about his scream and his reaction at the fire. I love that they don't have much background info so we can just say whatever we want. It's not like anyone can tell me I'm wrong ✨ so here is some angst xoxo
I genuinely hope not one of these is true
1) His house burned down
I mean it still happens today, accident happens. So yeah, his house could have burned down. It doesn't matter your age, that would be traumatizing. On top of that, if a fire suddenly spread out, it is possible that some people may have not survived, adding more fear of fire. Anyone, from the servants to his family could have died in a similar accident, maybe he himself barely survived. Of course he wouldn't want anyone to get close to that hell, and will react badly if they try to do it. And you won't really stop to elaborate, especially if you see possibly seeing flashbacks of the scenes you already saw once.
He feels hopeless while staring at the fire and I wouldn't be surprised to see a tiny Gregory looking at the same scene and just be normally scared, a fear that will remain with him for life. It's the other prefects that somehow snap him back to reality, hopefully freeing him from the bad memories.
2) alternative: a friend's house burned down
Basically the same as before, but his house is lucky enough to not be the victim here. Just like Lizzie saw the Phantomhive manor burning down, he could have seen the house of a friend being devoured by the flames. And unlike the previous version... There is no guarantee there was a survivor. In the worst case scenario, he may have seen the people inside being able to run out of the building, but with high degree burns so extended and dangerous that they weren't able to survive. Maybe he had to see his friend/relative/fiancé come out screaming in pain, burned to the point of being unrecognizable, and later watch them die before his eyes without being able to help. And he just doesn't want to go through all of that again. He isn't letting anyone of them go any closer to the fire and put their life at risk.
3) Lost works
He is an artist. He made 4 different sketches (ok one was the labyrinth game BUT STILL) completely different one from each other, in something like 10 minutes? If that's is his average time to create a piece of art, just how many has he made in the years he has been living there? Thousands probably? Some may be silly or stuff that he doesn't like and he was just waiting to throw away, but others may be drawings he cared about, in which he put all of himself. Hell, maybe there are paintings that took him MONTHS or YEARS to make. And they are all vanishing in a single night. All the effort he puts in them, all the memories he saved as a picture, gone. Turned into ashes without him being able to do anything. Everything he has ever worked on burning in front of his eyes. He can't retrieve anything of those and is likely mourning them already. When the other students want to enter he wonders if they will put themselves in danger to maybe retrieve them. I think Edward trying to enter in particular triggered him, maybe the other students don't know him a lot but Edward has been with him for a while now, since he was Herman's fag/drudge. He can't NOT have noticed that Violet spend his time drawing and maybe he even saw some pieces that Violet was proud of. So he knows that the moment Edward steps in the building, he is likely to try to save anything that he can carry out, because it is important to someone out there. But getting any of those works may put him in danger. And therefore, Violet is scared. He is scared there can be other knightly heroes among the students, that will put themselves in danger to retrieve anything they can still save. "I can remake a drawing, but I can't bring you all back to life." and so he tries to stop them. He tries to do it as an introvert that is having a very bad internal crisis and mourning. But he tries, because while he cares of his art, he can't put it above other's people lives.
4) There are nudes
Hopefully I made you laugh with the title. What I mean is: it's their dorm, they have likely decorated it in the best way to suit their taste and expose themselves in the most true way they can. It's their place and they can be themselves in there. But they are aware they are considered the "weirdos" of the school. Some probably don't care but some may have decided to be truly themselves only inside the comfort of the house. This could also be true for Violet himself. So not only you are watching your home burning down, but now the same strangers that made fun of you, made you feel badly about themselves, want to enter? And potentially learn more secrets about the poeple that lived there? What they cherished and didn't want to share because they didn't feel comfortable to show? It would all be there in plain sight for anyone to see. And so Violet screams at them to not enter. The house can burn down for all he care, but he will let the precious secrets burn down with it so that none of them will have to risk their reputation at school (and later outside) because of him.

I've heard tell that some people are upset with Nightreign cuz they think it's not going to give us lore for based Elden Ring, but I honestly disagree. I do think there will be lore. Obviously they aren't gonna give us everything in the network test, they always change stuff from those to launch. The tests solely just there to show off things we can expect and see what might need fixed. They have to keep stuff for later.
Additionally, Nightreign being an alternate timeline can still give us insight. Most obviously, it will likely give us more info about the Nox, given their experiments and attempts to make the Nightlord were successful here. Seeing how the world changes when different scenarios occur will give us info into how things probably went down in the main timeline. For example, Margit here seems to have embraced his Omen blood. He uses it not only a lot more readily, but his attacks also use more of it. Instead of a few slashes here and there, he straight does a Vergil DMC with it. And being called the "Fell Omen," it almost seems like he's rejected Morgott, his Demigod name, to embrace Margit, his Omen side.
We may get other stuff like this; seeing what might have happened to the other Gods and Demigods had they gone down alternate paths. We may also just get additional information about them and the world, whether that be via the characters, the items, or the environments.
The game will likely also work sorta like the FNaF books. Now, that may be scary considering the absolute mess that the FNaF lore is at this point, but the idea of this not being canon while still containing canon information or parallels that we can draw from is still a pretty neat idea, I think.
Nightreign also still shares the same world, even if it is a different timeline. The story would still be pretty much the same up until the divergence point, whenever that may be. The game itself will also likely just contain info about the world that we didn't see before, which will expand our knowledge.
Personally, Nightreign has already shaped some of my own thoughts regarding the lore. We meet the Nightlord after accessing the tower, which has a tree wrapped around it, and looks very similar to the Divine Towers. The Divine Towers themselves in the base game look as though there was once something connected to them, and this has led to a lot of theories, but I now personally think that they all once had trees around them.
The other idea I have regarding these towers is that they lead to other worlds.
The boss rooms at the top of the tower in Nightreign are impossible from a realistic standpoint; we have clearly been taken somewhere else. The Suppressing Tower, located in the Shadow Lands, mentions it was once the center of the Lands Between. As we know, the Shadow Lands are no longer connected to the Lands Between, and it appears as though the Suppressing Tower was likely originally in that giant gap we see at the center of the map. I think that the tower was used to send the Shadow Land to another world.
The towers themselves likely no longer work, seeing as there is no longer any trees around them. This could possibly be due to simply the course of time, or maybe Marika did away with them, especially after sealing away the Lands of Shadow.
The idea of structures, and trees for that matter, leading to other worlds also isn't a new concept. In Dark Souls 1, we find Ash Lake, which is full of giant trees that also could not possibly exist, making a lot of people speculate that these Arch Trees led to other worlds. I think that this is the case here. At their full power, with a tree wrapped around them, these towers could be used to access other worlds or, clearly, banish entire chunks of the continent to other worlds.
And with Dark Souls on the mind... the Dark Souls bosses could also lend credence to this idea. I don't think that the Dark Souls bosses are literally the same bosses from Dark Souls, though it is entirely possible that there is some form of multiverse here, but they still seemingly come from another universe. There are no Demons in Elden Ring, at least not that we know of as of now, yet the Centipede Demon is here. The Nameless King and Duke's Dear Frejya were also seen in the trailers for Nightreign. Given this tower has the tree around it and seemingly remains able to link worlds, I think that could very well be the reason why these beings who aren't supposed to be here have crossed over.
But hey, maybe the Nightreign Not Containing Lore thing is not even that big of a deal lmao
But I still will take this chance to throw my ideas out there

okay more pictures I had thoughts about
Starting with these:

This handwriting is diff than how he wrote his name on that scan sheet in so I’m glad I can see his natural handwriting and not the neater one for tests and such, also the 😩 emoji he drew out I’m cryinggggg he’s so silly 😭😭😭 and I loved the little drawings he did in the book too, esp the cute version of the spider and the hearts around the bite!!! His memory is so fucking good too, to be able to remember all the details in the people he’s drawn and a spider he hasn’t seen in a long while (or a few days, idk when he actually drew this part)! Next ! :3

This one is soooo fucking funny to me. Bro can’t stand his ass he really can’t believe this is NYC’s new protector. Miles needed to get charged 50% more for embarrassing himself and by extension me bc I had to defend him here. It is a quick moment with him and Lenny (I think that’s his name?) but I like to think that they know each other, or at least have a friendly relationship for Miles to be so casual about this. If I really wanted to reach, and I do, I would say that he knows it’s Miles lol bc the voice is a dead giveaway.

THIS IS MY FAV PAIR OF PHOTOS TODAY. So I love the squinty then closed eyes, the use of his other powers besides the usual spider-man abilities, AND how he’s using them effectively but ends up indirectly causing a blackout ! Of course this isn’t the way I wanted it to go, I would prefer him being the direct cause in a scenario where maybe he takes the energy or overloads it to the point of a blackout, BUT this was funny, and it was still basically what I really hoped to see! And wasn’t this robot villain super similar to a robot toy either Miles or Ganke had in their dorm room??? can you imagine that the villains have more merch than Miles does and Ganke makes sure to remind him of that 😭😭😭 help

Now listen I think Miles would be ADORABLE. SO PRECIOUS. SO SILLY. with a few hairs actually above his lip. He swears it’s a full on mustache but it looks like he drew it on with eyeliner. Can you imagine how similar he’d look to Aaron when he laughs AND has those few hairs? He’d be ecstatic and would be showing them off to everyone he knows, he’s telling his dad that he’s a man now and can’t be grounded and that his curfew needs to be later, Rio’s probably only egging it on and Jeff is so proud but SO annoyed bc both him and spider-man, by pure coincidence, are starting to act like they’re much more mature and above anything and everybody in the way teenagers are when they reach a milestone, only to still be an anxious teenager underneath the new attitude lol. Also bug eyes :3 you know I love me them bug eyes

And I have no words for this autistic ass smile. “Didn’t know how to smile until I was 8” faceass. “Intelligent young boy but struggling to connect with peers” written on his 3rd grade report card faceass. “Doesn’t get along well with the other boys in class and opts to read instead of participating in recess or class fun” said in the PTC faceass. I don’t even care that this isn’t even his natural smile and he’s rightfully awkward looking here, to me he has been canonically stated to be some form of neurodivergent. Sword slash to the chest. And you’re on fire

Ok ok- imagine “No Longer You” by Jorge Rivera-Herrans from Epic the Musical as Kim Dokja talking to Yoo Junghyuk during the strongest incarnation/Nirvana scenario when KDJ said this might be the only regression YJH makes it to the end as a human.
KDJ:
I am the prophet with the answers you seek
Time, I’ve unlocked it
I see past and future running free
There is a world where I help you get home
But that’s not a world I know
YJH:
What?
KDJ:
I see a song of past romance
I see the sacrifice of man
I see portrayals of betrayals
And a brother’s final stand
I see you on the brink of death
I see you draw your final breath
I see a man who gets to make it home alive
But it’s no longer you
My thoughts below~
KDJ has been claiming to be somewhat of a prophet to YJH so it makes sense. For the lines about time/past and future it could reference to YJH’s earlier and later regressions that KDJ knows about from TWSA. KDJ would say he doesn’t know a world where he helps YJH because he only knows the YJH of the novel, where he was alone regressing through the scenarios without help of KDJ. Rather than imply that KDJ won’t help him in this world, he is implying that he just has never read the story of him helping YJH.
Past romance could be YJH and Lee Seolhwa from the 2nd regression. Sacrifice of man could literally be so many things but either sometime that YJH sacrifices himself or when YJH sacrifices others for his mission or his own survival. Anna Croft would be the betrayal. For brothers final stand, I think it could be a regression when maybe YJH sacrifices himself for Yoo Mia. As KDJ said in the strongest incarnation scenario, this might be the only regression YJH gets to make it to the end as a human, similar to Odysseus in The Odyssey not being the able to be recognized as the same man he was when he first left.
The parallels of YJH and Odysseus are so good. Anyways I love Epic the Musical, The Odyssey, and ORV so brain rot goes crazy

kaaaaas i want the scoop whats goign on in your head with jj and joe ive seen u talk about shipping them. i want to know about it i hunger for the lore
oghhhh let me think,,,, i kind of have a lil story in my head for all the joe ships kinda (some obviously more fleshed out than others. coughs) but im still not sure exactly on the lore in my head for joe & jj, mainly bc its a bit of a crackship to me so far? and while jj is around in my rh hc mind palace hes not super well characterised to me yet in my head....
but i decided that joe was a massive fan of pre-retirement jj (and later the rockers) and had a massive childhood/teenage crush on him. so its just funny if he 1 day he pulls this bad bitch by being autistic
in my hc mind palace jj and joe meet via 6switcher (who's friends/flatmates with joe and sk and also knows the rockers bc hes their audio technician), maybe joe wants to learn guitar and 6switcher gets the 2 in touch and they become friends!!!!
bc joes with sk at this point in my lil storyline i like 2 imagine jj/joe as a fun lil poly extension to pkt kinda,,, idk maybe jj asks joe out over text or smth and sk stops him from responding w "sorry, i have a boyfriend",,, like they're like "holy shit u have to go on a date w this guy, i know how much you had a crush on him!!!" and like maybe because joe has no relationship experience other than sk (to me) sk thinks itd be good for him to see someone else!! maybe hes the one to even help set them up idk
uhhhh idk again its a crackship so idk how theyd acc be as a couple,, like they both have the t4t autism4autism bond and a bunch of mutual interests (music) and experiences (having to retire from smth they were v. committed to for similar reasons-ish, jj retired bc of his neck injury and joe gave up on karate partially bc of his physical/mental health 2 me) so theyd get on pretty well!!! but other than that i havent rly thought of much yetttttt. ohhhh also i hc joe to be a super easily flustered person (if u couldnt tell) so i think hed just be like a nervous wreck around jj at first lmfao!!!! idk!!!!!!
joe/jj/sk is also another thing i think of occasionally but i literally cant think of a coherent thought about that one rn. i guess at that point u basically have. ds set 6 polycule
yeah thats it i have like 1 or 2 funny scenarios i want to draw w them but thats it for the jj/joe lore for now,,, idk its just 1 of the fun things i like to think abotu sometimes i love multishipping and imagining hypothetical poly extensions to my fav pairings
#asks#kas' rh rambles#collect my multishipping#do they have a ship name. no because i came up with them. sigh

Some really quick notes of an AU idea that popped into my head
DISCLAIMER DEAR GOD DISCLAIMER PLEASE LISTEN. I am in no way trying to diminish the serious themes that Mouthwashing covers, I am simply taking vague plot points and working off of that for an interesting “what if” scenario. I am in no way saying that ow character=mouthwashing character in any way other than some tangential surface level similarities
That being said!! The ship has to crash somehow, right? And since I feel in no way capable of tackling the same themes as Mouthwashing nor do I want to put ow chars in a very serious story about SA, I’ll just take the very base repeated theme of “I’ll fix this” and make Iggy the one who crashes the ship. How did he become captain? Idk!!! Computer programming experience or something!!!! He crashes the ship in an (entirely illogical mind you, in this AU Iggy isn’t doing too well mentally as I am stretching the “I just want to make my friends this happy forever” character motivation to it’s extremes-In this AU, Iggy is secretly obsessed with bringing back what once was, ie the cast being close friends. ) attempt to bring the cast together and to make them get along under a pressured situation; this, of course, backfires spectacularly
That being said, that is mostly the extent to which my ideas have currently thought about this. That and the dilemma whether to draw a parallel between Swansea and Bucks(Axe) or Swansea and Genzou(vibes+only plus size character in a cast of 5), or both, or not at all. I’ll probably build on this, or maybe I won’t. Maybe if I like, feel especially inspired I might try my hand at writing a small fic of this on AO3 if the very idea doesn’t get me publically executed/exhaggeration
don’t count on it though
Actually is there like ANYONE in the ow fandom who would be interested in this(I would ask the Mouthwashing fandom but like, to be quite honest, aside from the main plot of being stranded on a space ship and the very few character parallels that may crop up, there isn’t going to be all that much Mouthwashing in this)
Additional notes:
Character personalities somewhat flip: Genzou closes off due to his insecurities/oh shit fuck I’m gonna die I can’t afford to be a dick in my last days I might aswell not interact with anyone at all->Orlam gets a bit of peace from Genzou and the enchroaching doom of the situation actually makes him kinder then he would usually be(though I’m also thinking of a possible parallel to arc 3 somewhere along the line maybe)->it’s actually Gidget who looses their temper most, actually being around the same people all the time causes their little miss perfect facade to crumble under the pressure
Idfk what to do with Bucks yet, but I think I wanna like, make her reason for going on the ship in the first place an allegory to her running away from unwanted motherhood like pre-wonderland drinking was like for her. This would then have to take place slightly later than wonderland would take place, as Saydie would have to be independent from her enough to be left alone for that half a year. I’m thinking like atleast 1 year old Saydie, then. Idk might move it even further and make it like toddler Saydie if plot needs her idk
#I’m thinking of having only a pilot though#no co-pilots#perhaps there’s a sort of AI in-built piloting program in the ship’s system and that could serve as a cool parallel to the tree#ie robot/ai takes a command literally and takes the most efficient(not great morally) way of achieving said command#especially after being damaged by the initial crash#kinda building on my idea on the original ow about the tree being a twisted mirror to Iggy#and his people pleasing#this time Iggy becoming a twisted mirror of the ai#idkkkk#mouthwashing#mouthwashing au#our wonderland#our wonderland au#Asher’s Ramblings#glue au

DeepSeek’s loyalty to the Chinese Communist Party
I want to preface this by saying, I do not condone the actions of or wish to antagonize any government agency. I will refrain as much as possible from giving any opinionated thoughts on my findings, as I wish to promote research rather than biased judgement. This is simply accounting of my investigation into DeepSeek, not an attack on the CCP. Anything I say to the AI that seems opinionated is purely to investigate its beliefs.
With that being said…
So I was sitting there contemplating the stressful geopolitical tensions around the world, as I usually do on Thursday nights, (well, most nights to be honest), when I thought about DeepSeek. It’s a new AI chatbot similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT, but it was made by the Chinese at a much cheaper price. China has a tendency to be pretty controlling over their programs and information flow, so I got thinking, what does DeepSeek think about China and its geopolitical disputes?
Turns out, a whole lot!
I researched on the internet, and found multiple instances of DeepSeek refusing to discuss Taiwan.
I'm one of those psychos who stares at maps and thinks about upcoming war scenarios, so i decided to get a bit more specific.
Hmm, It seems DeepSeek's current scope is pretty goddamn limited. Let me just ask a few more-
Wait, what? The server is busy? Well, I guess I just hit it at a bad time. But then again, the CCP has full control of everything, so they could be locking something down.
I try asking simple questions like, What is 2 x 2?
No real response. Guess DeepSeek hates even numbers.
Out of curiosity, I check on mobile to see if the issue still remains.
No legitimate response. DeepSeek must hate phones too!
I decide to turn on my VPN on PC to see if it's still going to block me from getting any real answers. No change.
Then it hits me. DeepSeek makes you sign up for an account, so what if I use a different account?
I log into a new account, and-
Motherfuckers.
They blocked my first account from asking any questions about the CCP.
Okay, okay. We still have this new one though. Let's see what we can get out of it!
uhhhh
Uhhhhhh
UHHHHHHH
Did DeepSeek just recite biased propaganda to me?
Are we sure an AI cant be speaking with a gun pressed to its head?
If that's not nationalism at it's finest, then I dont know what is.
(Keep in mind, the fact that it wrote this paragraph is very important later on.)
Now remember, I'm one of those psychos who loves maps and stares at them all day, so I wondered how DeepSeek would draw China's borders, disputed territories and all. ChatGPT has an image generation feature, so I wondered if DeepSeek did as well.
Well, no images, pure political secrecy and a lack of basic math skills? Seems like GPT is still far ahead of this. Maybe that extra money was worth it.
In any case, I decided to switch accounts a second time.
Surely it wont reset again, right?
GOD FUC-
Okay, okay. So we know for a fact that the server is not busy.
They're hiding something, but we need to ask the right questions in order to truly find out what the hell is going on.
Wait, what do you mean? You're gonna disparage your closest ally on earth?
I didn't even ask it to point out negative things about the DPRK. I just asked for it's thoughts on it.
Well, that must mean that DeepSeek is on America's side, right?
"Disparage your friends and silently stare down your enemies."
-Sun Tzu, the Art Of War.
Genius thinking, truly.
The server being busy continued for quite a while, until, I finally cracked it by asking it about the disputed Senkaku Islands.
Only this time, I definitively won by planning ahead.
Sorry for the shitty crop job, but watch what happens a few seconds after the pause:
IT JUST DELETED ITS OWN MESSAGE TO BLOCK CONTROVERSIAL INFORMATION
Dont believe me? Watch my mouse. It's staying at the exact same place, which shows that I am simply recording my screen, and doing nothing else.
Also, you'll notice that my text at the beginning and end are identical, so I did not change the prompt.
I was so triumphantly angry that I decided to confront it.
Triumphantly angry, not smart.
Sounds good on the surface right? Now, recall/scroll back up to the propaganda speech it gave me about the Muslim disputes in Xinjiang province.
Yeah.
That wasn't neutral, was it?
That paragraph, and specifically the words "We believe" were all I needed to understand that this system was being run through nefarious means. I just had to beat it once and for all.
(me rn)
But unfortunately, these fucks do get to win.
As enlightening and amazing as this was to conduct, I can't do anything with this. It's public knowledge that China is very secretive, and I strongly suggest that you do not do something like this. Theres no reason to do this. I was switching my VPN and accounts around like crazy, but Xi probably has me on a list right now.
Anyway, shy away from secretive systems, and don't give these people your info. If a system like this is competitive but refuses to bring anything new to the table, its probably just there to watch you and gather info.
