My very first ever tattoo. I’m so thankful to the amazing tattoo artist who designed my dream tattoo. He did an amazing job. I grew up (still do) watching Batman films and falling in love with the message. My favorite reenactment was definitely Christopher Nolan’s version of the bat. “Why do we fall?” Is a question I ask myself every single day. “So that we can learn to pick ourselves up.” No matter what black hole life throws me into that makes me feel dead. I’ll always get back up. Life can break my bones and hurt me all it wants... but I’ll always learn to get back up again. I wanted to share this tattoo here for others who wanted an idea of a tattoo to get. I originally wanted three bats but decided two would be better. The bats are angled to my shoulder so they fly when I move my arms up. The font is in a typewriter print right underneath my collarbone.
