i think you can be as critical about the venezuelan opposition and maría corina and edmundo as you want but arent venezuelans allowed to choose for themselves even if the options arent perfect? are you willing to justify electoral fraud and police brutality, class inequality, bad management of resources, lack of maintenance of the country, breach of the law, lack of investment in health services and education etc etc just because the person doing it is someone you like or because you don't like the other option? are people at fault for wanting something different?

Fic-to-Art #44: Zuko and Katara meet Hotaru
This time around, my Patrons chose these two scenes from the prompt I offered them... and that prompt was "Hotaru", our tiny firefly herself <3 drawing her continues to be a challenge pertaining how to ever make babies look cute, but I hope she looks alright this time!
These two moments take place not too far from the other, but it's worth noting that Katara and Zuko don't get to see Hotaru at the exact same time. Thus, I figured I'd take advantage of the opportunity... and draw Sokka and Azula introducing their little one to their respective siblings. This will be an emotional chapter (lots of those coming up), but I do hope that these moments of happiness will be a good way to soothe the pains caused by our very intense angst from the current chapters... to be specific, this is chapter 378, so we're not that far away!! Just gotta wait a bit longer!
A part of me took joy in this specific prompt... the fandom has an abundance of "uncle Sokka" and "aunt Azula" content, be it with them together or not, while Zuko and Katara (also while together or not) happen to be the ones who become parents first. This often relegates their siblings to a secondary role, and too often there's either implications or outright accusations that these two just aren't fit for parenting. I don't really remember seeing much, if any, content where Zuko and Katara are the uncle and aunt instead... thus, I figured this would be a fun switch-up that, ultimately, doesn't mean any of these four aren't fit for parenting (Zuko's already a dad, Katara will be a mother someday in the future!)! It just means that Zuko and Katara get to bond with little Hotaru and be supportive siblings! And everyone's happy and wholesome in the process!

also like i partially found out i might be intersex because i was looking at trans stuff and there was like "(however many) months on t and finally seeing some bottom growth" and like pictures of t-dicks and i was like.... um.... that's kind of just what my clit looks like anyways. so i was like "hey google give me a quick rundown on this" and learned what clitoromegaly was and then i was like. hm. intersex resources. and it's like a sign? symptom? side-effect? of certain intersex conditions

my headcanons… oughh… most of my monkees headcanons are just about them being domestic and snuggling and stuff and that’s too much for tumblr i fear… they’re a family… and they love each other very much…. and take care of each other…… oughhhh monkees….
#i just project everything onto them lol#and then i have micky’s family… they go visit his mom a lot. she lives relatively close but since micky and mike have known each other the#longest and mike lived with them for a bit she thinks of mike like another son#she reminds him he’s family when he’s like ‘no no! you don’t have to do x thing to help out!’ and shes like ‘you’re family sweetheart :)’#like micky brought mike along when his sister had her first daughter and he was like ‘im sorry im intruding’ and micky’s mom was like#‘it’d be wrong if you weren’t here now get in the family picture’#and they all help her out as she gets older and then i don’t want to think past that because my characters…….#mickys dad died in my verse like he did irl too and micky has always been very close with his mom#(he has three sisters in my brain and he’s the only boy but he’s the second oldest)#but anyway micky’s mom thinks of peter and davy like surrogate grandkids she spoils them so hard#peter likes to help out in the kitchen (though he can sometimes mess some things up but she still helps him out and she loves him very much)#and he’s always so excited to help her out#and davy is like her little guy. he was only about 18 when he joined the group and he was still so nervous and had a lot of defenses up and#he had come over to america very recently but right away micky’s mom swoops in and she’s always pinching his cheeks and making him food and#she just adores davy#sometimes micky will be like ‘hey davy that’s MY mom!’ and davy will stick his tongue out at him#but micky and davy are always kinda mutually protective over each other because micky lost his dad and in my headcanon davys mom died like#in real life#davy was 15 and his dad got really depressed and davy had a lot of pressure from his grandfather who was also now very protective of davy#and it’s part of why davy kind of escaped to america#but he was really very scared when he came over because he was very young and knew nobody#but i like to think he was looking for work at this restaurant and saw the guys play and kind of was just in awe and after the show he went#up to them all nonchalant and told them he liked their music and eventually it kinda slips out that he’s got nowhere to live right now and#the mike is right away concerned about this boy so far from home and is like ‘you play any instruments?’ and davy is like ‘uh…’ and mikes#like ‘we could use a guy on uh… tambourine… or maracas…?’ and mikcys like ‘hey!’ cause he’s the percussion guy but mike shushes him and then#they take davy in and the rest is history. and peter is so excited davys coming to live with them.#and davy really wants to prove himself to the guys that he’s worthy to be in their group so he starts trying to write some songs and that’s#where ‘i wanna be free’ comes from and he sings it for mike and mike is like ‘your wrote this? good job man!’ and davy is so proud#jesus i didn’t mean to write that much…

I don't know what it is about me that people always assume they can treat me like shit
#maybe im overreacting but my manager is obviously upset i got sick bc he wanted me to do stuff FOR HIM like#bestie all my projects are on schedule and my 4 days of absence won't affect that so you shouldn't give a fuck#and i won't be working from home on my sick leave for a minimum wage job#and my other coworker who i thought she actually liked me she didn't even thank me for the job i did for her on Friday when she couldn't be#at the office bc she had sick kids#idk what it is about me that I cannot be treated like a normal human being deserving respect instead of being treated like shit#i don't work there for long but I've never missed a day. i was nice to everyone and usually worked fast and efficiently with ease#the people i work with from outside the office even complimented me and are very understanding now about my illness#because i emailed them about my absence#but people working at the office make me kinda anxious tbh#the only girl who helped me and supported me when i was scared of my manager was some ultra catholic girl whom i like but#I didn't expect us to become some sort of work friends#apparently it's good to have a proper catholic by your side#posted by me
