For whatever reason I've found that these messed up Birds That Are Not Quite Birds are a pretty good representative of the Zoid for me
#they evolved from my attempts to draw birds in the style of hieroglyphs#which is the 3rd picture#for a time i got frustrated being unable to draw what was bothering me. it was an uncomfortable art block#the red zoid birds were drawn during what was supposedly a group assignment#i was so disillusioned by the quality of the work sheets i didn't bother filling it in. it wasn't essential anyway#then it turned out we were supposed to hand them in#i hope I'd get them back because those birds belong in my sketchbook. sadly i doubt I'll see them ever again#schizoid personality disorder#schizoid#szpd#personal art#i used to run an art blog so we've come back from retirement woohoo

This has been my experience with my replay so far
#prince's talk tag#mystic messenger#i haven't replayed another story yet so its not as fresh in my mind as the other two but i dont think cats are a big thing in that route#i WAS gonna have elizabeth the 3rd's picture replace the characters' portraits#but then it would take too long for what was supposed to be a quick edit#i did go out of my way to find a font close enough to the one used in the game#for someone who hates typography a lot of the shitposts i make tend to have type used in some way#and thus i need to spend time finding the right font. which i hate#but i know when i find it the joke hits better so its a love-hate relationship#i need clip paint to implement kerning into their program i keep using the alt button thinking itll work and it doesn't#maybe its in the version i gotta pay monthly for and i am NOT doing that

About the random chest that flashes over MK in the memory scroll:
I‘m pretty sure it‘s Azure. You can see the tips of his two… loose ponytails? (The hair that frames his face anyway) hanging down from his shoulders. Later, in his emperor form, we can also see he has the defined musculature.
And since Wukong was reliving all of his regrets in the scroll, the biggest ones flashing on the screen in that scene, one after another, it would make sense for Azure to appear.
Both because Wukong betrayed the brotherhood and lost his friends, and also because- well, Azure was the main antagonist of the season. It would make sense for him to be of importance for Wukong in this scenario especially.
I can‘t believe you failed to identify one of your favorite characters by chest alone. Smh. Fake fan, I think I have to unfollow 😔

So. I had typed out this whole answer pointing out how absolutely shredded the silhouette was compared to every character in the show, and then I had this really good point, like (quoting my og post):
"And it's not that you're wrong, it would make complete sense for Azure to appear as part of the memory flashes—but then why not show his face? Why not make it obvious that it's Azure? Why be this weird about it, and have it framed so that when it fades it reveals MK? You gotta think why the writers and storyboarders would make those kinda decisions."
But then. But then I realized anon.

BUT HERE'S THE OTHER THING ANON. AZURE'S PAST OUTFIT (Presumably what he would have been wearing when this memory took place) IS ALSO DIFFERENT:
So I legitimately don't know. At the end of my og post, I had written a pretty funny joke: "Anon don't challenge my ability to identify my lego characters by chest alone ever again", but you were right to. And they're bad (though maybe not that bad. But I'm a bitch about cramps)#these fuckers stay until 9:26!!! And it was obvious I wasn't feeling great during Periods 1 & 2.#Because I was constantly fidgeting and in Period 2 I was messing around with my hoodie & constantly putting my head down#So anyways Period 2 and my cramps end. Time for break. My FUCKING BRACELETS are missing#Still don't know where they are at time of posting this except that they're at school#And I like these bracelets. to the point where if I find someone wearing them I WILL argue for them#And yeah my mom got them as a free gift from a company she buys from#But I like those bracelets. I'm so fucking willing to full on call someone out for wearing my bracelets#And bring to attention every feature that shows that it's mine. Like the fade marks or whatnot#So anyways. 3rd Period comes and goes. I get up to go and part of my jeans feel wet while I'm walking#like blood just leaked off the side of my pad wet. So I'm fucking walking like I pissed myself trying to get to the bathroom#and lo and behold.... Blood is on my fucking jeans. And it's not the hugest spot but I can fucking FEEL it#So I dry it the best I can (and swap my pad because it was FULL) then head to 4th#Trying to figure out whether I should ask my mom to bring me a pair or jeans. But indecisive because she's also working#So I text my brother. Bro just tells me to fucking decide for myself#So. Not wanting to impose on my mom (especially since I asked her to take pictures of my Stats textbook yesterday since I forgot to)#I just decide to deal with it#Anyways that's all just wanted to get that out there.#Everything's fine now. Except the bracelets. Hopefully I lost them in my 1st Period because apparently they aren't in my 2nd
