okay one thing that my friend did say that i was not okay with, we both love fruits basket we both watched it when we were kids, but where i didn’t care so much for tohru when i was 12 but over the years have come to recognise just how strong of a person she is and how genuinely adorable she is behind the shojo filter, my friend still finds her annoying. and idk how to explain to her that. it genuinely feels misogynistic to not like tohru but love momiji, that it feels discordant to love kyo but fast forward thru tohru’s lines like.
