If anything, this should tell you the time for marches and cardboard signs is over. It's time for us to fight in the literal sense.

“Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain and little, I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong! - I have as much soul as you, - and full as much heart! And if God had gifted me with some beauty and much wealth, I should have made it as hard for you to leave me, as it is now for me to leave you!” ― Charlotte Brontë, Jane Eyre

Hey if you're new to tumblr don't worry about people telling you not to come here because it's "dead" or a "hell site" or "the users will force you to eat bees", it's actually pretty cool, no matter what the rest of the internet keeps telling you. Oh, and you totally won't need those crosses and garlic they gave you. Yeah, no, I don't know why they broke down weeping and told you that for your mother's sake you should stay away from this website. Maybe a joke about the history of nsfw content I guess? Anyways, come on in, we've been eagerly awaiting your visit.

Hey, so I’m super excited that Dracula Daily is a thing, but I feel like I should warn people that one of the main characters in the novel is a guy that runs a lunatic asylum, and his scenes might be kinda hard to read for anyone who’s been through psychiatric abuse.
I would appreciate it if people reblogged this post and didn’t tag it with spoilers or put trigger warnings on it, since it’s important that this warning is seen by the people who need to see it. Thanks!

You say that, but I don't agree. I don't think it was not portrayed as as bad as a thing like this is. The episode was written by men and it made me uncomfortable as a child in a way a child should not be uncomfortable.
Getting into atla again and I have two hot takes that are, in fact, not mutually exclusive
It is very obvious that the two men writing the show did have some "Nice Guy" problems, and the scene where Aang kisses Katara against her will was gross. The age gab was also uncomfortable because, despite what some people say, 12 and 14 are pretty far away in terms of development, too far in my opinion.
That being said: Zutara bad.

I conclude that atla should not have been put back onto Netflix because the absolutely terrible takes I have seen about this show are too much to handle. I cannot believe I have to say this but Avatar: The Last Airbender is a kids show. For kids. About kids; it is not that deep.
