I have noticed something while watching the latest update of this year's Halloween event... Spoilers below!

In this part, where Skully expresses his dislike for evil ghosts and says they should be banished, all the NRC guys go "😡😡", giving him a death glare, basically calling him and his views brutish and undignified, and give him a lecture about how ghosts visiting on Halloween should be treated with hospitality etc. All this without asking him why he thinks the way he does, of course.

Then, I remembered Endless Halloween/Spectral Soirée...

Danny is a Kryptonian. Not by birth. But by the realm.

The infinite realm is infinite, time is connected to it at all times in different spots. When a world is destroyed or a species goes extinct the realm is effected.

When kyrpton exploded. Time moved on the earthly realm of course. However a natural portal had opened. One that only opened in the realm at the same moment the Fenton portal opened for the first time.

Danny wasn’t just blasted by pure ectoplasm from the realm, but of the very essence of kyrpton itself. Altering Danny’s DNA even more. Infusing kyrptonian DNA into him as well as him becoming half ghost.

Danny has no clue. He assumes it’s all ghost powers. So did frostbite. What happened to him was unknown and entirely new. Besides had frostbite ever truly looked at normal human DNA before.

Danny’s first experience with kryptonite is when lex Luther showed up to “fund” fentonWorks. The anti-ecto weaponry worked surprisingly well on the supers. And he couldn’t just get into the Fenton computers without a green virus shutting him down.

Lex is intrigued. Does his digging on this “human” boy only to find he was adopted as a baby. Through less then legal methods.

Ellie on the other hand feels the effects in front of Conner. She was very confused just as he was.

He never pressured her to wear it like that, possibly didn't even notice the effects his words had on her, but he once said it's what's traditional for the Leviathan royal family, and that it looked good in her, and she was determined to keep hers as long as possible, until one day she can't handle all the stress and anxiety and she desperately cuts it all in her bedchambers. Now it's so short, barely reaching her jaw. She cried herself to sleep that night. Andrias didn't say anything about it, only that it looked nice, and Marcy feels her heart sink - she let it grow for years no matter how uncomfortable it was or how little she liked it for nothing.

So upset about the fact that there are artists who whitewash Raphael from Baldur's Gate 3, like ... It can happen that you pick the wrong skin color, that's okay, especially as an artist without much experience, but listen to other artists who point out to you that that character looks whitewashed, be open to LISTEN and AVOID picking the absolutely wrong skin color next time. Simple.

Ah, thank you, anon, it's okay. It's been a while now (court moves slooow), but we're getting hopefully close to the end. She filed in Family Court December 2022, and we've had about five interim hearings with final trial (finally) scheduled over four days next month, so fingers crossed! But yeah, it's been A Time. He's financially and emotionally abusive against my sister, and both those things as well as medically negligent against their children (who are only six and eight and both have special needs), so it's been....rough. To say the least.

But on a lighter note, have one of my new favourite photos I took of my nephews at the jellyfish enclosure at the aquarium last month!

I finished Sharon Carroll's "The Complexities of Reducing Reinforcement" webinar and wow I really really loved it! Finally I feel like I understand what reducing reinforcement is actually supposed to look like, the science and the detailed stages of it. Despite the presentation only being about 1hr long, I had so many eureka moments while watching it - and a couple of hard truths as well.
