We have (with little to no comedic exaggeration):#1) WWX whistling and somehow summoning not one but several horses to his side.#2) meeting the surviving Wen sect members who insist on not leaving Wen Ning behind.#Only for it to cut back to Wen Ning ripping a guy in half. (Not pictured here. I tried so hard but I could not make it look good).#Personally I feel like we moved on way too fast from the horse thing. Where did they come from? WWX couldn't have brought them.#He *just* found out there were more people left behind.#So...are the from the Jing sect? Are these disloyal horses? Or does WWX have incredible animal charisma skills?#It feels a bit like a DND player asked to call in some horses and the DM said 'Sure if you roll well enough' and it was a natural 20.#Maybe this is just my own envy cutting through. God damn I wish I could whistle and summon a horse to my side whenever I needed to.#I know I should not be so hung up on the horses. But my brain is cooked. I have been so sick.#The kind of sickness that makes it hard to breathe. Or think. Or have any energy at all.#I wish I had good commentary to write here. I just...really want a nap. And for October to restart to make up for all the lost time.#Thank you all for being so kind and patient once again. It truly means a lot.

wangji and wei ying have matching bunny slippers. they gifted each other a pair for christmas and have a matching green mat that looks like grass to place their slippers. they also got sizhui a pair and all of their slippers form a happy little bunny family right next to the front door

I’ve got an idea for art but I’m struggling to find out what Xie Lian and a few others would be.
I’ve always been an avid reader of the Wings of Fire series and I am currently working on owning all of the books and graphic novels as they come out of course. So the idea I’ve had is what if I drew all the characters from TGCF as dragons from WoF?
One would think Hua Cheng would be a Nightwing,
Xie Lian is one I can’t think of. A Rainwing? Sandwing? Skywing? Silkwing? They all seem like good options,
Feng Xin I think could be a Mudwing,
Mu Qing might be an Icewing,
He Xuan would be a Seawing obviously but beause of Animus magic, he could disguise himself as a Mudwing ya know… Earth master,
Shi Qingxuan would be a Skywing,
Shi Wudu would be a Seawing,
Pei Ming would probably be Skywing,
Ling Wen would be a Nightwing,
Yin Yu would be a Nightwing,
Quan Yizhen would be a Sandwing,
Qi Rong stumps me a little too. He could be a Leafwing, the green. A Skywing, because he thinks he’s all that,
Guzi would probably be a Skywing dragonet,
Jun Wu could be a few things. Nightwing, Skywing, Hivewing. I’m leaning more towards Nightwing though for the reason of the volcano. Because of Animus magic he would be able to hide the scars and damaged wings,
Mei Nianqing would be a Nightwing. Seen as wise and intelligent perfect for a teacher,
Ban Yue would be a Sandwing,
Pei Xiu would probably be a Skywing,
Yushi Huang would be a Rainwing. Not because of the fact it’s a Rainwing but because they eat fruits and other things from the earth. It just made sense.
I might draw around and find out now.. that way I can see what I like the most for the characters and stuff…

#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#wen chao#wang lingjiao#Realizing she was supposed to have an upper lip mole was a cold slap in the face. So sorry ma'am. I won't forget again.#They are evil dumbass 4 evil dumbass and I think we are all missing out on the sheer potential of the comedy between these two.#They have way too much power and are using it for the wrong reasons - which makes them truly great villains.#And when things don't go their way they become piles of whining sludge.#Wang Lingjiao is forever fascinating to me even though we only get crumbs about her.#She's a servant girl who's greatest asset is her beauty and her attractiveness.#Meaning she's had a life being in the gaze of people with significant positions of power over her.#I can't help but read her childishness and petty tantrums as someone who has finally been given the chance to not feel powerless.#If she was a more virtuous type we might 'like' her more but honestly...I don't think she would have survived to this point.#WLJ has only known power hierarchies her whole life. Probably accused of seduction before she even understood what that meant.#I love contrasting her with mianmian because they have similar(ish) backgrounds but different approaches to moving forwards#But WLJ's story is about flying too close to the sun and mianmian's is about going too close to the water.#Like the sea mist dragging her down into complacency - all the sect powerplays are mandatory to 'go along with' if she wants to climb-#-the social ladder. Yet she is the cautionary tale (and a foil to JGY as well) she leaves before sacrificing her own morals.#Mianmian flies away with her wings only slightly plucked while those who sacrificed everything to reach for the top crash and burn.

this might not be the right time since i have thesis stuff to do, but im entering a bit of a writing rut despite the desire to write, so..... if you guys have writing prompt ideas for little drabbles either for mdzs or svsss, send them my way
#can't guarantee i'll write them quickly#but i need to work on Something and my current wips aren't going the way i'd like#and i want to get a better feel for writing scum villain stuff#since i haven't really written them but i love the characters so much#but yeah my character preferences for writing are probably pretty obvious#that being yunmeng sibs and/or wen qing#though i'd also love to write the juniors i love the juniors so much#and for scum villain i love bingqiu and i love cumplane#but also i'd be willing to stretch my wings for different characters if the prompt was compelling

Dain saving Vi is literally so anticlimactic to me because like Vi just makes him sound like a terrible fucking person when he's just someone who's trying to play by rules in this damn mess. Did he fuck up? Yes. But acting like he's the biggest threat was Vi exaggerating and so when he saved her my reaction literally was like Duh.

Round 2: Wen Ning (The Untamed/MDZS) vs Deathbringer (Wings of Fire)
[Propaganda Under Cut]
Wen Ning: Powerful, undead, unfailingly loyal, shy little guy
Deathbringer: He's a self appointed bodyguard for his partner. It is reasonable for her to have guards because she's a queen. Also before she was queen he was an assassin instructed to kill her and her siblings but he decided not to because he's silly and also a good person. Also he managed to be an assassin without killing people by acheiving the results his superiors wanted without murder, for example he convinced a target to desert their post. This dragon is afraid of nothing, except for humans, but he had a reason to be scared of them.
