micro glow up part one⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🧁
in this post we'll be talking about habits and little ways in which u can improve ur health and appearance without doing anything too drastic. a micro-glow up to stay polished…💬🎀
DRY SHAMPOO ;
dry shampoo helps with smell and reducing oil and all in all just a rly super useful tool that i hope we're all taking advantage of! so to use it simply divide ur hair into sections and shake the canister before application.
make sure that u hold it at least 10-12 inches away from ur roots. and then just brush it out and voila. just get the dry shampoo that matches ur hair color. so for me i have black hair so i'd purchase a dry shampoo that is designed specifically for dark hair.
WRAP UR HAIR AT NIGHT ;
create a protective barrier around ur hair at night to prevent frizz. with things like silk wraps and bonnets etc. treat ur hair LIKE A BABY. be super gentle to it so it can be soft and moisturized. if ur hair is more coarse or thick use the dominican tubi wrap.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT SHAMPOO ;
so theres a difference between ur everyday shampoo and a CLARIFYING shampoo. a clarifying shampoo is simply more of a deep clean so if ur using a clarifying shampoo EVERY single day you'll find that ur hair is lowkey straw-like and thats not the move.
clarifying shampoo is a super deep cleanse for ur scalp and u shouldn't be using it every single day…💬🎀
furthermore using a scalp scrub once a week or two weeks to stimulate ur scalp is rly rly wonderful. to just kind of do a deep clean of ur scalp and stimulate blood flow which can also help hair growth.
IF YOU HAVE ACNE ;
i used to have bad acne so i think im qualified to talk EXTENSIVELY on this subject but i won't make this section of the post too lengthy but i think these tips are valuable if ur struggling with acne…💬🎀
♡ invest in a pimple popping tool kit
u can literally get these off of amazon and u can learn to use them via youtube but as long as u store them properly and use them properly u can get rid of whiteheads and black heads safely and most effectively.
when doing an extraction wash ur hands and the area that ur about to extract from to make sure u have a super clean base. also make sure to soften the skin with a warm washcloth before starting. i've found that it minimizes pain.
hot tip : warm water opens pores and cold water tightens pores which is why when doing an extraction its important to use warm water and when ur done wash with cold water…💬🎀
♡ use blotting papers if u have oily skin
♡ invest in adorable and effective pimple patches
THE IMPORTANCE OF FACE MASKS ;
make sure to understand ur skin type/skin concerns before committing to a specific face masks. for example if u have more oily skin use a clay mask once or twice a week, if u have dryer skin go for a hydrating face mask. i rly rly LOVE sheet masks.
ALL ABOUT BROWS ;
wash ur brows with a gentle cleanser and make sure to keep them groomed cuz it makes ur eyes look bigger and gives u a more rejuvenated look. plus it makes u look very clean. dont forget to wash ur brows because washing them stimulates growth + prevents ingrown and painful pimples within or around ur brows.
ALL ABOUT EARS ;
DONT OVERLOOK UR EARS. make sure to clean in and around ur ears. like when ur showering just take ur finger with a little bit of gentle cleanser and just clean the shell of ur ear, the lobe, behind ur ears etc. do this on a daily basis. it literally takes 2 seconds.
and to clean ur ears DONT use a cotton swab. ik it feels rly good sometimes but what it does is just push the wax back into ur brain or whatever so instead take a cotton ball and soak it in some warm water, hydrogen peroxide and mineral oil and just tilt ur head to the side <- so that the opening of ur ear is facing up and hold for about a minute and then tilt ur head back and let the fluid drain out.

Skincare is Like Cooking—Here’s the Perfect Recipe for Healthy, Balanced Skin 👩🍳💆♀️
If you wouldn’t randomly throw ten different spices into a dish and hope for a five-star meal, then why are you doing that with your skincare routine? 🤯
Too many actives? Disaster.
Skipping the essentials? Ruined.
Not giving it time to work? Ineffective.
Skincare is like cooking—you need the right ingredients, the right method, and a little patience. Let’s break it down so you can stop overloading your skin and start cooking up a glow. 👩🍳✨
Step 1: The Base – Cleansing 🥄
Like every great meal starts with a solid base, your skincare routine starts with cleansing.
❌ The Mistake:
Using a harsh, stripping cleanser that leaves your skin dry and tight. That’s like burning your onions before you even start cooking—the whole dish is ruined!
✅ The Fix:
Choose a gentle, non-stripping cleanser suited for your skin type. Your skin should feel fresh, not overcooked.
💡 Best Cleansers for Your Skin Type:
✔️ Oily Skin? Foaming gel cleansers with salicylic acid.
✔️ Dry Skin? Hydrating cream cleansers with ceramides.
✔️ Sensitive Skin? Fragrance-free, pH-balanced cleansers.
Step 2: The Seasoning – Actives 🌶️
Actives like Vitamin C, Retinol, and AHAs are the seasonings of skincare—they enhance the results, but too much? Disaster.
❌ The Mistake:
Mixing multiple actives without a plan. It’s like adding too much chili powder and salt—you end up ruining the dish (aka your skin barrier).
✅ The Fix:
✔️ Introduce one active at a time to see how your skin reacts.
✔️ Alternate between days—don’t mix Retinol and strong exfoliants in one go.
✔️ Start with low concentrations before going full MasterChef mode.
💡 Pro Tip: If your skin is red, irritated, or flaky—you’ve over-seasoned. Cut back and let your skin recover.
Step 3: The Butter – Moisturizer 🧈
Would you make pasta without sauce? No? Then don’t skip moisturizer—it’s what holds everything together!
❌ The Mistake:
Thinking you don’t need moisturizer because you have oily skin. That’s like serving dry toast—unappetizing and unpleasant!
✅ The Fix:
Every skin type needs hydration. Find a moisturizer that works for you:
✔️ Oily Skin? Lightweight gel-based moisturizer.
✔️ Dry Skin? Rich, ceramide-packed cream.
✔️ Combo Skin? A water-based moisturizer that hydrates without heaviness.
Step 4: The Final Touch – Sunscreen 🔥
This is the most important step. If you skip it, everything else is wasted—just like forgetting to plate your food after all that effort.
❌ The Mistake:
Not wearing sunscreen because it’s cloudy or you’re indoors. That’s like leaving food out and wondering why it spoils.
✅ The Fix:
Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily, no excuses! Your future self will thank you.
Quick Recap: The Perfect Skincare Recipe
Here’s your foolproof skincare formula for glowing, healthy skin:
🥄 Step 1: Cleanser = The Base → Use a gentle cleanser that preps your skin.
🌶️ Step 2: Actives = The Seasoning → Introduce ingredients slowly and wisely.
🧈 Step 3: Moisturizer = The Butter → Locks in hydration and balances the skin.
🔥 Step 4: Sunscreen = The Final Touch → Protects everything you’ve worked for!
Final Thoughts: Are You a Skincare Chef or a Skincare Disaster? 🍳🔥
I used to dump actives into my routine like I was seasoning fries—and let’s just say my skin fried too. 😭 Don’t make my mistake.
Skincare is all about balance, patience, and the right combination of ingredients. Follow this “recipe,” and your skin will reward you with a healthy, glowing complexion.
👇 Tell me in the comments: Are you a Skincare Chef 👩🍳 or a Skincare Disaster 🔥? Let’s fix your routine together!

You Give them Face Mask! 🧼
Luffy, Sanji, Zoro, Usopp, Buggy, Mihawk
Fluffy Fluff
Just felt like more Fluff Fluff rn 😌 Enjoy!
Luffy
Trying to get this man into a face mask is like trying to wash a puppy- A happy struggle and pain in the ass.
"Luffy please" You say with a sad eyes- He will fold after this and let you. However he doesn't sit still so you use a sheet mask that simply helps with oily skin.
"This smells nice" He will say as you have to bribe him with snacks to keep it on for 15 minutes.
"It's rose scented" You say and wear one yourself to keep him still with some gummy candies. Will have trouble sitting still and will start chatting and walking in circles as he waits.
Once it's over he rubs his shiny face and talks about how squeaky he sounds. Utterly destroying your work-
Sanji
Sanji is more then willing to indulge you. Picking out some mild scents and you do a peel off mask since he has deep pores.
"Wanna do the charcoal mask?" You offer which he accepts after finding the scent pleasant enough.
"Do people do these often?" He will flirt and talk about the curiosities in your self care. Once the mask is done he will complain about the tightness.
"That means it's ready to peel!!"
"AHHH! OW!!?" He yelps in surprise as you pull the mask off his face. His face bright red and raw from this so you add some water based moisturizer to his face. You show him the mask.
"That was in my face!?"
Will both be disgusted and fascinated by the amount of gunk pulled from his skin.
Zoro
His skin is fairly flawless which is honestly frustrating since he cares so little for his skin.
You offer the face mask anyway and he refuses for a while bit does eventually fold. You use a snail slime mask on him since it will keep him skin looking flawless.
"This smells funny..." He grumbles as he will lay there listening to you talk, Half asleep and waiting. Will open his eye occasionally and ask a few questions about your interest in this stuff.
You wipe it off and help him rince his face. Skin is pretty much glowing at this point and You stare in awe. "So pretty!"
"I'm going to go train now-" You scream at him in protest in trying to ruin his pretty face.
Usopp
Usopp is willing of course, since the ocean air drys his skin quite a lot. So you use a shea butter face mask and tap his skin with your fingers to help it soak in his rough skin.
"You know I once got a spa treatment from Mermaids like this-' He will spin his tales as You work. When you do rince off the mask you add some nice skin oils afterwards to his skin.
You rub a lot of oil in his skin and he will pause his stories as he judt enjoys the time. Will smell the jar you're using and a softness will run over his face in fondness.
"This smells like the stuff my mother used to use-" He will say with a smile. His skin looks shiny and golden by the time your done, making him look sexy- in his own words.
Will come back regularly to have you treat his skin and will even talk about stories with his mother from time to time.
Buggy
Grease paint wrecks havoc on one's skin Buggys especially since he wears it so much. Needs some detoxing clay mask then a aloe moisture one to replenish. If you're doing his face might as well deep condition his hair as well.
He does enjoy the attention and doing them since his face feels better. Secretly he actually has acne marks from his youth and some scars from before he ate a devil fruit.
"What was this one from?" You ask pointing to a light scar on his cheek.
"Hmm 10- Me and Shanks were trying to figure out blades better. Let's say I learned knives can bounce back at you-" He says amused and letting you work.
"The skin around your nose is dry" Buggy will frown, thinking you're about to insult him since even though he trust you the most his insecurities will win- till you carefully paint the mask on those areas and smile proudly.
"There we go, all better" You say and kiss his hand to go apply your own.
Will sit and listen to you read outloud or talk with him about show ideas as he lays there with the face mask.
"Can we do this every night?"
Mihawk
"No-" He will protest, his eyes narrowing as you offer the mask to him. However after enough begging and ever Perona joining in at pestering him he will fold.
Mihawk gets treated to a full spa day when this happens- A hydrating honey facemask on his skin, cucumbers on his eyes and even a hair mask in his hair to make it softer.
Perona is overjoyed as well as she cleans his nails and applies clear polish to make them shiny and nice! Grumbles the whole time silently and ends up Downing a bottle of wine.
"Do not get used to this-" He grumbles as he takes his wine and drinks from it as you and Perona work. He kinda looks like a spa mom-
Once done this man looks runway ready- His hair is much softer so sets lower, his skin flawless and even his beard looks nicer. Stares at you and Perona deadpanned and sighs-
"Thank you both for the nice gesture..."

Personal makeup and skin tips

Double layer!! First liquid/cream products then dry powder products(blush, contour, highlighter)
USE SUNSCREEN "but girlbloggerbby my skin gets so oily when i use sunscreen" Better have oily skin than skin cancer.
Water based products only will work well if they are used with other products also based on water, same thing with silicone based products
I know that a lot of you love lip tints but hear me out, they dry your lips more easily, lip oils/ lip gel >>>lip tint
Bake only in oily zones, the other parts you lightly press the powder
That thing where you have to rub the cleanser for 60 seconds its bullshit, if the packaging doesn't have any information related to cleaning time, just rub it until you create foam and rinse, but doble cleanse
If u want a shiny eye makeup, the glitter/highlighter go in the mid of the eyelid to the eye corner, if you apply it to the end of the eyelid, it will be heavy in a bad way
Deep exfoliate only 2 times a week, over exfoliating sensitizes the skin, making the skin more prone to Breakout
Retinol is made to use during night, and if using during day apply even more sunscreen
When contouring the mouth, apply an eyeshadow on top to seal in the color and make it last longer, same with eyeliner
Body moisturizer is made for body and only the body!!!!!!!!!!!
Saying that here again, avoid using pell off masks(the black and extra tight to skin ones) THIS FUCKS THE SKIN BARRIER
Hydration is the greatest ally for makeup to not get cakey
Vitamin c does not get along with retinoids!
Concealer for everyday makeup.
Never and ever sleep with makeup, it clogs your pores and makes ur skin extra bad
Thats it for the day, i use makeup for a rlly long time and i search a lot about this stuff so this are skin and makeup tips that works for me, i luv ya bbys💋

⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ʲᵘᵃⁿⁱᵗᵃ’ˢ ᵒⁿˡⁱⁿᵉ ᵈⁱᵃʳʸ.ೃ࿔*:・
HEY!! READ THIS!!
How we (yes we!!) are gonna be unreal for the summer!
In this post…
What we are going to go over:
Skincare
Makeup
Workout Routines and Excercise
Supplements
Diets
Fragrance
Small Habits
So… Where do we start?
Skincare.
First of all, we need to figure out your skin type.
Oily: The oily skin type produces an excess of natural oils—especially around the T-zone.
Combination: Either oily or normal skin around the T-Zone area of the face.
Dry: Dry skin is skin that doesn't have enough moisture in it to keep it feeling soft.
Normal: Normal skin just means that your skin feels hydrated and comfortable, but not oily or dry.
We need to find out our skintype so we can use the correct skincare products for us. Imagine using a product for oily skin, which targets your skins natural, moisturising oils when you have dry skin. It can do more harm than good.
On that note, using TOO much skincare can really irritate your skin barrier. You need to use just the right amount. Heres my basic routine.
Oil Cleanser (Some days)
Water Based Cleanser
Toner
Serum (Some days)
Moisturiser
And listen.. you’re supposed to use sunscreen but i always forget.. NOT GOOD.
Getting skincare that targets your skins problems is a good idea. Like mine is blemishes, dark spots, pores and fine lines.
I use korean skincare personally, big fan of Skin1004 and haru haru wonder! I use the centella ampoule to calm my skin and the centella oil cleanser to get rid of white heads and sebum in my skin!
Look out for these ingredients: Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Centella, Green Tea, Salicylic Acid, AHA’s, BHA’s.
Anyways.. thats all for part one!
Come back tomorrow angels!

can u make me a rlly good skin care routine? except I don't have any toner...
🧾- hi pooks how are uuu I hope u finne
How to build a skincare routine ㅤ۪ㅤ۫ ꪆ୧ㅤ🧁ㅤ۫ ♡

Morning Routine: for All Skin Types
1. Cleanse: Start with a gentle cleanser that clears away overnight buildup without stripping your skin.
Oily skin? Use a gel-based cleanser.
Dry or sensitive skin? Opt for a hydrating cleanser.
1. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
Skin Type: Dry, normal, sensitive
2. CeraVe Foaming Cleanser
Skin Type: Oily, combination, acne-prone
3. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Cleanser
Skin Type: All skin types, sensitive
2. Rice Water Boost: Here’s the secret that works for everyone. No toner ? After cleansing, apply rice water using a cotton pad or gently pat it onto your skin. It brightens, soothes, and balances your skin naturally. (Make rice water by soaking rice in water for 20 minutes, then straining and refrigerating it.)
3. Moisturize: Hydration is key! Choose a lightweight moisturizer for oily skin and a richer one for dry skin. Combination or sensitive skin? Stick to non-comedogenic and fragrance-free formulas.
For Dry Skin
1. Eucerin Advanced Repair Cream
Deeply hydrating with ceramides and urea.
2. Weleda Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream
Nourishes very dry skin with botanical extracts.
For Oily Skin
1. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel
Lightweight, oil-free, and hydrates without clogging pores.
2. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Mat Moisturizer
Controls shine and minimizes pores.
For Combination Skin
1. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
Balances oil and hydration levels.
2. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
Lightweight but hydrating for dry patches.
For Sensitive Skin
1. Avene Skin Recovery Cream
Calms irritation and strengthens the skin barrier.
2. Cetaphil Daily Hydrating Lotion
Gentle and non-irritating with hyaluronic acid.
For Acne-Prone Skin
1. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Matte Moisturizer
Non-comedogenic and soothes irritated skin.
2. Vanicream Moisturizing Lotion
Free from common irritants and ideal for breakout-prone skin.
4. Sunscreen: Finish your routine with SPF 30 or higher, even if you’re staying indoors. Sunscreen protects your skin from UV damage and prevents premature aging—an absolute must for everyone!
Night Routine: Restore & Repair
1. Double Cleanse: If you wear sunscreen or makeup, start with micellar water or an oil-based cleanser, followed by your regular face wash.
2. Rice Water (Again!): Use rice water as a natural toner to calm your skin and prep it for the night. It’s a multitasking hero that helps reduce redness, minimize pores, and add a glow.
3. Targeted Treatments:
Acne-prone? Apply a salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide spot treatment.
Dull skin? Try a niacinamide serum for even tone and radiance.
Dry skin? Opt for a hyaluronic acid serum to lock in moisture.
4. Moisturize: Seal everything in with your favorite moisturizer. At night, you can go for a slightly heavier one to aid your skin’s repair process.
Weekly Extras for Radiance
Exfoliate: Once or twice a week, use a gentle chemical exfoliant (like AHAs or BHAs) to remove dead skin cells. DIY trick: Mix honey and sugar for a natural exfoliating scrub.
Face Masks: Hydrate with aloe vera . You can also use sheet masks chilled in the fridge for a refreshing treat.
Steam and Detox: Once a week, steam your face for a few minutes to open up pores and deep-clean. Follow with a clay mask if you have oily skin or a soothing mask if your skin is sensitive.
Secret Skincare Habits for All Skin Types
2. Cold Spoon Hack: Struggling with puffy eyes? Chill a spoon and press it gently under your eyes for an instant de-puffing effect.
3. Jade Roller Magic: A jade roller or gua sha tool works for all skin types. Massage your face daily to improve circulation and reduce puffiness.
4. Silk Pillowcase: Sleep on silk pillowcases—they’re gentle on your skin, reduce friction, and keep your hair and face smooth.
5. Hydration Inside Out: Drink plenty of water and eat skin-friendly foods like avocados, nuts, and fruits. Your skin reflects what you put into your body!
and there is a LOT of skincare tips I will try to make other blogs Abt it soon. !!

Can you make a how to live like song jia for a day ?
How to live like song jia ౨ৎ ⋆。˚ the perfect routine to boost your self-esteem

This is a guide on daily routines inspired by Song Jia! These routines are perfect for people who want to slowly build unbreakable confidence, like freezia!
content list (routines):
morning
study
workout
shower + self care
night
(_ _ ) . . z Z⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚୨ :★: ୧ ∗ ˖࣪ ໒꒱ ˚₊·

✸ ꒰ morning routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
🤍 Jia starts her mornings drinking a cup of water or coffee on an empty stomach, this can help to boost your metabolism and detox your body. I would recommend to drink water rather than coffee, since this could have some negative side effects.
Next step is to say some affirmations in front of the mirror, saying affirmations like 'I look so pretty today' or 'my skin looks so healthy' or simply being kinder to ourselves can ease stress, allow us to face difficulty more courageously, and feel more content and confident!
Now it's time for skincare, Jia emphasizes on having a healthy skincare, for this you will need to create a routine based on your skin type (dry, oily, combination, sensitive, normal or acne prone) and your skin concerns (black heads, bumps, irritation, scars, etc.), please make sure to consult a professional before using anything on your face! Now Jia usually cleanses her face with a foam cleanser and then use toner, a moisturizing ampule, moisturizer and sunscreen! She makes sure to apply the products on her neck too.
After skincare it's time to get dressed, while we wait for the products to absorb! Jia is a really fashionable girl, make sure to have fun with the textures, shapes and color combinations to make the best outfit and boost it using accessories like hats or sunglasses, don't forget to get a matching bag and shoes too!
Time for makeup! Jia's daily makeup consist of BB cream, mascara, eyebrow pencil and lipstick, but if she's shooting something she will add contour, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner and highlighter to the routine!

✸ ꒰ study routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
🎀 When Jia goes to her Chinese classes she pays attention and does activities in her book, she also practices writing random things like her name! She memorizes vocabulary and practice a little with her friends in the same class.

✸ ꒰ workout routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
🦢 Jia recommends to work out at least for 20 minutes per day! She usually does simple waist or legs exercises while standing up looking at her phone or watching TV.
Also she goes to Pilates classes so you can try to do a 20 minute Pilates workout video like this one.

✸ ꒰ shower and self care routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
🩰 To boost your self-esteem Jia says that we have to at least take 2 days of the week (Saturday and Sunday) on really taking care and spend time with ourselves.
First detangle your hair using a hairbrush, then hop on the shower and use shampoo, conditioner and a hair mask to treat your hair. Then wash your body using a shower gel and a body scrub. Jia uses a soothing gel, thermal water and a body lotion to moisturize her body after shower, she massages the products on her skin to relax her muscles. After 30 minutes, she dries her hair with cold air. After, you can trim your split ends or take care of your nails if necessary.
As a part of self-care, do chores like doing laundry or washing the dishes so you can start relaxing on a tidy place (you can also light an scented candle). Also, Jia takes her vitamins for her hair and overall health.
Now it's time to enjoy our hobbies! Having hobbies help us with both our physical and mental health, plus having our alone time makes us more comfortable with ourselves and help with self -discovery, Jia haves a good set of hobbies that she spends most of her time doing like oil painting, doing DIYs, watching dramas like insider, taking care of her dogs, cooking and baking, playing video games and golf!

✸ ꒰ night routine ꒱⋆ ࣪.* ࣪.⋆
🌷 Finally, Jia spends her night taking care of her skin! First she washes her hands, the uses a cleansing oil or milk, then she uses makeup remover on her eyes if the cleanser didn't take off her eyeliner for example, then she uses a foam cleanser and toner to finish cleanse her skin. After she uses a hydrating mist and ampule, a dermatologic treatment, sheet mask, lip balm and moisturizer (remember to apply it on the neck too!) after she uses a gua sha to massage her face.
as a part of skincare, make sure to sleep at least 8 hours everyday and drink enough water to wake up with perfect skin!

Skincare Series ⋰˚☆
(Pt. 2) Products
Today we’re going to be talking about the different types of products and their benefits.

Having an overall knowledge of what each product does It will help you figure out what types of products you should be implementing in your routine.
What to shop for & what to avoid:
Korean skincare is going to be your best friend. Yes it’s a but more pricy but they’re some adorable option out there you just have to do your research. Your nearest cvs, target etc. should also have good skincare options.
What to avoid? Cheap dollar tree products and anything that has fragrance. This will ruin your skin so please do your research before you buy any type of product and always patch test.
Product Tip:
Always store your products in a cool dry area. Keeping your skincare cold will truly make a difference in the longevity of the product and will enhance their benefits. If you can invest in mini fridge great! if not keep them in your fridge or away from heat.
Types of products:
•Toner
•Serum
•Moisturizer
•Eye cream
•Face Mask
•Face mist
•Sunscreen
TONER: This is a water-based liquid formula that is created to hydrate, soften, smoothen, and hydrate the skin. It may even removes any last traces of dirt, grime and impurities stuck in your pores after you wash your face.
Always use an alcohol-free toner. Opt for witch hazel instead. You can apply with hands or with cotton pads.
SERUM: Serums can deeply penetrate the skin, which is why they’re great as hydrating products. They’re many different kinds of serums from dry oils to a water-based paste.
Some good serums to start with are Vitamin C serum or turmeric oil serums.
MOISTURIZER: To help keep the skin looking youthful, plump and well-hydrated use a moisturizer. This would lock all that moisture in and prevent your skin from drying out throughout the day
If you have dryer skin you’re going to need a thicker moisturizer and those with oily skin are going to need a lighter moisturizer.
EYE CREAM: Will help to improve the appearance of darkness, undereye-bags, aging, and puffiness. Some studies show that eye cream is necessary because the skin around the eyes ate thinner therefore needing more care.
To look and feel more awake use a caffeine infused eye cream. For the best results store eye cream in a cool/cold area.
FACE MASK: Not only are they hydrating and moisturizing it also tighten pores and refine skin texture. If your skin is ever feeling dry or dull put on a face mask.
Sheet mask are my absolute favorite. Other mask of a creamy consistency are the 2nd best. Always apply on a clean dry face. Theres others like under-eye masks & lip mask that work really well also.
FACE MIST: Usually packaged in a spray bottle it provides a quick hydration boost, especially if you have dry or dehydrated skin. This is the best on the go, a quick spritz and it will wet your face reactivating all your products.
Rose water or rice water make good face mist.
SUNSCREEN: As we know SPF 50+ is the most important step. Not only should you be using it all over your body but your face as well. Its important for protection your skin from the sun and avoiding permanent sun damage
You should be reapplying your sunscreen 2-3 in a day if you’re outside in the sun for prolonged periods of time. If you wear makeup opt for a spray to reapply without having to ruin your makeup.

Could you please repost the routine you used to clear your skin up?
I did this consistently for a full year and it completely cleared up my cystic acne and made my skin bright.
I melted off all of my makeup with Bioderma Micellar Water. I’d highly recommend it, and it removes stubborn eye and lip makeup very efficiently. Soak cotton pads in your micellar water, let them sit on your face for a moment, and then wipe any makeup and sebum away. If you choose to use micellar water, make sure that it’s unscented and doesn’t have any coloring.
I then wash my face with a gentle cleanser. You don’t want to use anything too oil based or heavy and the idea is that you’re cleansing your face of anything that the micellar water didn’t remove. Don’t use anything too harsh or stripping, avoid heavy chemicals, and make sure you’re not using an alcohol based cleanser.
I use the sandwich method for retinoids, so after I’ve cleansed my face, I apply a very thin layer of moisturizer. To keep things reasonable, Aquaphor, Vanicream, or Nivea are going to be your best bets. I personally prefer Nivea and think it feels the best on my skin, but you can use any cream. I will say that if you multitask, use Aquaphor on your face and lips.
Then you’re going to go in with a pea-sized amount of Tazarotene. Do not use more than a pea-sized amount, and make sure that you spread it evenly. You’re going to do a very thin layer, spread it smoothly, and pat it gently instead of rubbing it. If you’re really looking to get rid of old scars and dark marks, you can spot correct with hydroquinone at the same time. Remember, with medical-grade products, using less at the beginning is always better than overdoing it.
You’re going to finish your face with another thin layer of moisturizer. This final layer is important. If your skin is very oily, you might not need to use the sandwich method, but if it’s dry and you’ve had trouble tolerating chemical products before, I think it’s a good idea. I’m also going to really stress how important it is that you wear sunscreen on a daily basis and that you avoid picking at your face, touching any areas that are peeling, or interrupting the purging process.
After you’re done with your skin, you’re going to protect your lips. Again, if you chose Aquaphor as your moisturizer, go ahead and put some on your lips. I’d recommend exfoliating your lips and then applying an overnight lip mask or a heavy lip balm. For me at least, this is an essential step because Tazarotene does have a tendency to make the area around my lips peel. I’m also going to say that you shouldn’t be using Tazarotene every day; this is a 2/3 times weekly thing (one at the start), and you have to get into a consistent routine and use it for weeks to see real results.
Tazarotene also works well for body acne and keratosis pilaris, you can read the testimonies on Reddit and RS.

Reveal Your Bollywood Glow: Unveiling Celebrity-Inspired Skincare Secrets.

This blog is going to be all about Indian & bollywood inspired products and skincare tips. If you also want a blog separately about Indian natural and authentic skincare or hair care I'll surely make it. 🫶
Know Your Skin Type : Identify your skin type - whether it's oily, dry, combination, or sensitive - to tailor your skincare routine effectively.
Cleanse Like a Star : Use a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil or Neutrogena to remove dirt and makeup and a oil cleaner is a must if you wear makeup daily. Opt for micellar water for a quick and effective cleanse on busy days. (But I don't really recommend it).
Exfoliate for Radiance : Incorporate a mild exfoliator like St. Ives Apricot Scrub or The Body Shop's Vitamin C Glow-Revealing Liquid Peel to slough off dead skin cells and reveal glowing skin. And my personal favorite coffee scrub from The Bombay shaving company. Don't exfoliate more than twice a week.
Hydration Is Key : Use a hydrating toner such as Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray for an instant boost of hydration or toner + mist from pilgrim works like magic (my fav 😭).
Targeted Treatments : Include a serum with ingredients like hyaluronic acid (for hydration) or vitamin C (for hyperpigmentation) if you are under 17 or 18 like me don't use vitamin c or if you want to use in very less %, I use 2% kojic acid for my uneven skin tone from pilgrim, it's very begniner friendly. (Always consult a dermatologist for your skincare don't go around seeing videos on insta and YouTube believing them). I recommend Minimalist if you want chemical bases serums.
If you are above 23 or 25 Incorporate a retinol-based cream like RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream for anti-aging benefits. (Got this tip from mumma for y'all 😭✨️)
Sun Protection Essentials : Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, such as La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra Light Fluid, to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. More affordable and effective sunscreens from brands — dot and key, aqualogica, Dr. Seth and wish care.
Overnight Nourishment: Use a hydrating overnight mask like Laneige Water Sleeping Mask to replenish moisture while you sleep. Incorporate a facial oil like The Ordinary's Rose Hip Seed Oil for added nourishment and radiance.
DIY Treatments Inspired by Bollywood:
- Try a turmeric, gram flour and yogurt face mask inspired by Priyanka Chopra for glowing skin.
- Use aloe vera gel like Deepika Padukone for its soothing and hydrating properties. (MY fav bolly actress btw 😭❤️)
Lifestyle Tips for Healthy Skin : Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day people are not stupid that they are going around telling you to drink water, IT'S A MUST!. Incorporate antioxidant-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and green tea into your diet for overall skin health.
Some of my fav brands (mostly available in india) : dot and key, Foxtale, pilgrim, minimalist, st. Botanica, organic harvest and aqualogica!
Fav brand released by a bollywood actress: Hyphen by Kriti Sanon, their lip balm can even beat Rhode's lip balm istg- and their sunscreen 🔛🔝.
Channel your inner Bollywood diva and achieve a radiant, flawless skin with these skincare tips and product recommendations. Let your skin glow like a star!

My fellow chronic illness comrades, UTI (urinary tract infection) and heatstroke season is fast upon us.
As an Intersex woman and therefore a chronic UTI recipient (and someone who absolutely HATES summer), here's what I've learned:
-Vaginal moisturizer is not the same as lubricant. Lubricant won't help against UTIs or pain or chafing; it isn't absorbed into the skin.
-Water just isn't enough for a lot of us and it's very hard to drink enough. Electrolytes are good, but a combination of water and electrolytes is better. You can also "eat your water." Watermelon, green pepper, celery, oranges (& variations of oranges lol), berries, peaches, the list goes on. Vegetables and fruits last you way longer if canned, or frozen. Smoothies are a good option.
-If you don't have air conditioning at home or it doesn't seem to help enough, those large box fans can be put in the window during the cool morning, facing out of the window to pull the cool air in and push the hot air out. Idk how it works, but it does. Physics and shit.
-If you can avoid wearing multiple layers around your pelvis, do. Unscented deodorant on the inner thighs can help for thigh-chafing instead of under-skirt shorts, but can be sweat off. You'll want to be able to re-apply it if you use the deodorant method. You can also cut tights/nylons into shorts, which are way more breathable than solid fabric... depending on the tights.
-You'll probably need to change a pad or tampon more often in hot weather. Going through 2 a day is recommended for other seasons, so for hot weather I'd say up to 3. I don't know much about diapers in terms of adults who need them, but I'd guess the same or even more often since it covers a lot more of your body. Even if it's dry, change it -- there's still sweat and bacteria and moisture accumulating.
-If you have trouble showering every 1-2 days, I swear by water-based baby wipes (especially for body areas that get damp/sweaty).
-If you haven't pooped in 3 days... enema. I'm not kidding. Constipation will dehydrate you even faster than not drinking water. In the U.S., Fleet makes very gentle, easy-to-use enemas that you can pick up OTC (over the counter) at pretty much any pharmacy. Just don't ever do more than one enema on the same day (unless directed by a doctor) because it'll dehydrate you and break down the healthy mucus in your digestive system. I hated enemas at first, but now they're like second nature and such a huge relief.
-Cranberry juice is indeed a lot cheaper than those oily UTI tablets, but I can't personally attest to its effectiveness lol (I'm not saying cranberry juice doesn't work, but if it doesn't, I recommend over-the-counter UTI meds)
-Seriously don't hold in your pee very long omg
-Taking care of yourself is fucking hard, especially when you have to do extra. Anything kind/generous you can do for yourself during these seasons that people might call "unhealthy," like eating ice cream or whatever, is gonna be 1000x healthier for you than being miserable.
