BALITANG LOKAL: House members of Western Visayas, Central Visayas and NIR to be simultaneously voted out to impeach PH Vice-President 'Sara Duterte' [#OneNETnewsEXCLUSIVE]
Tumblr media
PAMPLONA, NEGROS ORIENTAL -- The House of Representatives (HR) has just impeached Philippine Vice President (VP) 'Ms. Sara Zimmerman Duterte' for plotting to unaliving Philippine President 'Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr.', massive corruption and failure to condemn China's aggression in the South China Sea (SCS). This was her first time sitting in the VP's role that has been impeached in the country's history.
The motion to impeach was approved first in all signatory votes starting off in Western Visayas region and several reps voted in favor of it. These representative individuals as listed are Carlito S. Marquez of Aklan's 1st District, Teodorico T. Haresco Jr. of Aklan's 2nd District, Julienne Baronda of Iloilo's Lone District, Janette L. Garin of Iloilo's 1st District, Michael B. Gorriceta of Iloilo's 2nd District, Lorenz R. Defensor of Iloilo's 3rd District, Raul C. Tupas of Iloilo's 5th District, and Dr. Maria Lucille L. Nava of the Lone District of Guimaras.
From Central Visayas, the representatives who voted for impeachment are Eduardo R. Rama Jr. of Cebu's 2nd District, Janice Z. Salimbangon of Cebu's 4th District, Peter John D. Calderon of Cebu's 7th District, Rhea M. Gullas of Cebu's 1st District, Vincent Franco D. Frasco of Cebu's 5th District, and Daphne A. Lagon of Cebu's 6th District.
And lastly in the Negros Island Region, the following representatives supported the impeachment are Greg G. Gasataya of Bacolod's Lone District, Gerardo P. Valmayor Jr. of Negros Occidental's 1st District, Alfredo D. Marañon of Negros Occidental's 2nd District, Juliet M. Ferrer of Negros Occidental's 4th District, Mercedes K. Alvarez of Negros Occidental's 6th District, Jocelyn S. Limkaichong of Negros Oriental's 1st District, Manuel T. Sagarbarria of Negros Oriental's 2nd District, Edgar M. Chatto of Bohol's 1st District, Maria Vanessa C. Aumentado of Bohol's 2nd District, Kristine Alexie B. Tutor of Bohol's 3rd District, and Zaldy S. Villa of Siquijor.
Overall, 25 out of 215 House members from Western Visayas, Central Visayas, and the Negros Island Region voted to impeach Vice President Duterte. Partylists and other representative officials in the nation are all included. The VP has denied the allegations and is preparing for the upcoming impeachment trial in the next Senate Hearing, which is expected to commence after President Marcos' 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA) by mid-July 2025.
This soon-to-be ouster VP marks a significant political division among the country's leadership, as many within the ranks of Marcos' allies, including his son and House Speaker "Martin Romualdez" supported the initiative. As she recounted in last year's online press conference, her salvaging of the VP's meeting felt overproduced, dulling her feelings of resentment. The outcome of the proceeding will literally change the political contours of the nation and its foreign policy implications, especially within the context of the SCS.

i'm a huge fan of Republicans, conservatives or however you want to be politically labeled choosing country over party. please let me see more stories. it's a brave thing to do this. even if you voted for him in both 2016 & 2020 but you changed your mind now, WELCOME. it's a massive deal to get out of any cult successfully & MAGA is no different. being filled with anger & hatred, & fear is intoxicating & honestly easier than choosing to do the right thing. i'm glad you saw the light.
check your registration status often & don't stop talking about Project 2025. they can pretend they're distancing themselves from it as much as they want but it's absolutely their policy. we can do this though if we just show up & VOTE. we got this

"Why didn't the Democrats codify Roe v Wade?"
They didn't have enough votes to bypass the filibuster because of Joe Manchin
"Why didn'-"
The answer is probably Joe Manchin.
"They had 60 votes in-"
For a few months and that entire time was spent wrestling with like 11 Joe Manchins from a bunch of red states in the senate to get health care reform passed.
"What about the Filibuster-"

“My vote doesn’t matter (so I’m gonna sit it out/vote third party/put a write-in protest vote)!”
Unfriendly reminder that Al Gore only lost Florida (and subsequently the entire 2000 election) by only 537 votes. Your vote absolutely fucking matters.
If y’all really, truly don’t want Trump/Republicans back in control than you better get out and vote down the ballot, especially if you live in an even remotely purple/swing state.
The MAGA voters will absolutely get out and vote, don’t let them out-do you.

The MAIN reason I’m voting AGAINST Trump is because this guy is a legitimate THREAT to America. What do I mean? Let’s not forget he STOLE CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE:
Tumblr media
What the fuck was he going to do with those? And when you couple the fact that he kisses ass to DICTATORS:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He is NOT someone we can afford to let back into the White House.
For the sake of us NOT becoming a dictatorship, please let’s all vote blue down the board.
SO MUCH that the votes won’t be taken to the Supreme Court because they will fuck us all over for him.

The election doesn’t start tomorrow, it ends tomorrow.
If you haven’t already, please make sure you are registered to vote and know where your polling place is (vote.org is a great and easy way to get that information). Additionally, please make sure you have a way to get to your polling place. Uber and Lyft often give free or discounted rides to the polls, and this year the car rental company, Hertz, is allowing free one-day rentals to get to the polls. More information on that here.
EDIT: NAACP has a discount code to use for Lyft, valid for two rides up to $20 ($40 total). Use code: NAACPVOTE24
The following states allow same day registration for general elections, ie: the presidential election:
California
Colorado
Washington DC
Hawaii
Idaho
Illinois
Iowa
Maine
Maryland
Michigan
Minnesota
Montana
Nevada
New Hampshire
New Mexico
Utah
Vermont
Virginia
Washington
Wisconsin
Wyoming
Note: North Dakota does not require formal voter registration, and upon presenting valid identification at a polling place, eligible citizens receive their ballot to vote.
all info here
The following states are required by law to give you time off to vote (between one and three hours):
Alabama
Alaska
Arizona
Arkansas
California
Colorado
Georgia
Illinois
Iowa
Kansas
Kentucky
Maryland
Massachusetts
Minnesota
Missouri
Nebraska
Nevada
New Mexico
New York
Ohio
Oklahoma
South Dakota
Tennessee
Texas
Utah
West Virginia
Wisconsin
Wyoming
*Most states requiring employers to permit voting leave also require that this time is paid. Among the above, the following do not: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, North Dakota. (info here)
Again, it is your right to vote. If you are in line when the polls close, stay in line. It is your legal right to vote.
If you are turned away at the polls, say the following verbatim: “Give me a provisional ballot with a receipt as required by law.”
If you make a mistake on your ballot, you have the right to ask for a new ballot. Don’t cross anything out, simply ask for a new one.
Poll workers are required to make reasonable accommodations for voters who need, including ballots in other languages or translators.
Canvassing is not allowed at polling places, and no one is allowed to threaten or intimidate voters. You have the right to report anything of the like.
All info taken from here
Some tips:
Don’t wear political merch to the polls.
Don’t engage with anyone about your politics at the polls.
Don’t take phone calls inside your polling place — it can wait, please be respectful.
Research who is running locally and see what their policies are. Additionally, research any local propositions that may be on the ballot. The language on ballots is made to be purposefully confusing, so make sure you read everything carefully in addition to your research.
If you’re able to get up early on Election Day, go right when your polling place opens to beat the line.
REMEMBER: IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE!
Here are a list of state-by-state voter protection hotlines, as well as hotlines in various other languages:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Please vote tomorrow if you have not already. It’s so important, and choosing not to vote or voting for a third party is a vote for extremist measures. Vote down the ballot, and do not let anyone bully you into voting one certain way.
What we are seeing throughout this election cycle (and the last two election cycles) is entirely abnormal. The bullying we see from a certain side and its supporters is childish and dangerous. They spew false information, make racist remarks, and sexualize and discriminate fellow candidates. No single presidential candidate is completely and wholly good, so criticize accordingly.
Vote with those you love in mind, vote with your safety in mind, and vote for those who will be affected for decades to come. Vote for someone who speaks coherently, not for someone who is, let’s be honest, not cognitively alright — and that is the bare minimum of the issue.
If you have anything to add to this post, please do. If anything is incorrect, please let me know and I will gladly change it.
Vote. Vote. Vote.

"California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, signed a first-of-its-kind state law Monday aimed at protecting LGBTQ+ students from having their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression revealed by schools without consent.
The SAFETY Act prohibits schools from enforcing policies that forcibly out a student and shields teachers and other school staff from retaliation if they refuse to obey such policies.
The new law makes California the first state to ban outing policies, according to the California Legislative LGBTQ Caucus.
Chris Ward, a San Diego Democrat who first introduced the bill in the California Legislature, said in a statement Monday that the SAFETY Act combats a rise in politically motivated attacks on queer and transgender students nationwide.
"While some school districts have adopted policies to forcibly out students, the SAFETY Act ensures that discussions about gender identity remain a private matter within the family,” Ward said. “As a parent, I urge all parents to talk to their children, listen to them, and love them unconditionally for who they are."
The law’s enactment came nearly a year after Tony Thurmond, the state superintendent of public instruction, said he was forcibly removed from a local school board meeting where he was opposing a district's proposed outing policy, which was eventually blocked in court.
“Our teachers can now focus on teaching the critical academic skills that our students need to succeed, not on policing the gender identities of children,” Thurmond said in a statement Monday."

Kamala Harris does want "transgender surgery on illegal aliens that are in prison", btw.
So since Trumpists are getting mad enough about the jokes to actually cite their sources, I thought I'd put the source out into my left extremist commie faggot echo chamber, too.
The claim originates from an ACLU questionnaire she filled out for her 2020 presidential candidacy, specifically this section:
Tumblr media
She wasn't given a new questionnaire for 2024, and has stated that while her policy on some things may have changed, her values had not. (This most likely means she moved more to the center to appease larger demographics and cut corners to reach compromises. The basic politician stuff.)
It boils down to this: If you're in prison, whether for "illegal" immigration or other crimes, you rely on the state to provide you with necessary amenities, like food and health care. Her argument isn't "hell yeah everyone in prison should get sex changes for free". It's "gender affirming surgery is a necessary medical procedure. If you are in the states care while this becomes necessary, the state should provide it." If you're outraged by your tax money being used on this, consider the massive amount of people being incarcerated in for-profit prisons, on your dime. Then ask yourself if maybe a prison reform might be in order.
Worth noting: In 2015, while Attorney General, Kamala Harris actually argued against providing gender-affirming surgery to an incarcerated trans woman, claiming that HRT and psychotherapy were sufficiently covering her medical needs. She has since obviously changed her stance and assumed responsibility. (I would like to take this moment to remind my fellow left extremist commie faggots that "willingness to learn and rethink your views" is infinitely more valuable than "perfect from the start and unwilling to listen to anyone")
Also found in the source: This image of Kamala Harris participating in the 2019 San Francisco Pride Parade, wearing what I believe to be a sequin rainbow embroidered denim jacket.
Tumblr media
I encourage you to read the provided CNN article and the answers to the ACLU questionnaire, as they give great insight into her values.
TLDR: Based.

Some good news:
Two days ago, Massachusetts signed off on their fiscal budget, which makes community college completely free for all citizens.
"Last year, we created MassReconnect - free community college for students 25 and older - and gave thousands of people another shot at degrees they put on pause... This year, I signed a budget that builds on that success and makes community college free - for everyone." - Gov. Maura Healey
