Another species songlist! Honestly I like some of the songs here more than a few on my werewolf list...

10. I Don't Care by VIOLENT VIRA. This one isn't an explicitly vampiric song but it has all the vampiric female rage in it and it's one of my all time favourite metal songs. Her screams and vocals are insanely powerful.

9. Lonely Vampire by Weathers. If you feel you just need some feel good pop amongst the gothic angst of being a bloodsucker then this is definitely the song for you! It's one to get up and dance to.

8. Bloodsuckers by Johnny Hollow. One of those songs where I haven't picked up the artist yet but definitely will. The instrumentals on this one are like nothing else. Honestly though this song makes me think more of carnivorous gnomes than vampires but that's my problem...

7. Vampires by Night Club. Night Club has perfected their dark electronic music and their entire discography sounds like what would play at a vampire nightclub. How convenient they have a song named Vampires! They sound like if Draculaura went raving and have the black and pink aesthetic to match.

6. Cold Blood by Valen. Yes there is a certain point in these where I just add songs I like that have a keyword in the title but you have to trust it fits I promise!! In 2023 this song was 43rd on my Spotify top songs. In my defence the lyrics & vibe are still vampiric...

5. Lesbian Vampyres From Outer Space by Scary Bitches. Another Scary Bitches song in 5th position! Just like the last one this is definitely an experience... an experience I love though! Again, this is one you have to hear for yourself. The WW2 references really make the song.

4. Blood by Starbenders. Not explicitly a vampire song but definitely fitting for an angsty human x vampire drama. Starbenders as a band have such a unique and lively sound to them. My other favourite is Cover Me, which would honestly also fit in that theoretical vampire drama.

3. Bloody Creature Poster Girl by In This Moment. Massive slasher final girl (potentially turned villain) energy. I only discovered In This Moment about a month ago through a friend but I have been addicted to their music ever since - they're on all my main playlists! Definitely a song I associate with some of my fictionkins & werewolf kintype too.

2. Lust for a Vampyre by I Monster. This song feels like a lovestruck daydream. It's sweet, sinister and sooo catchy! Also who doesn't love a good human x vampire song.

1. Old Money by Jonathan Young & Caleb Hyles. This isn't just my #1 vampire song but one of my favourite songs of all time. Collectively we can ignore the cringe and appreciate Young & Hyles outstanding vocals and the catchy tune. Also bonus points - it's explicitly about vampires! This is a big band number straight out of a gothic musical.

There has been something going on with me all day. Since first period I saw red to scratch something so I did it with pen on the back of my sketchbook. Not enough.

I used a whole paper and pencil. Not enough.

Second period I clawed at my books, leaving dents in them. Not enough.

I clawed at the lockers while in the hallway.

I left the room. I clawed at the walls. Not. Enough.

I need to fucking tear into something. I need claws and fangs

I need to attack something. I need to tear into it, feel my claws pierce the skin and blood seeping out I need to bite down on it and rip apart the flesh, feasting on its insides

I swear. this brain rot my sister has is killing me faster than it is her

I was on the couch (my dog was asleep on my lap so I couldn't move) and my sister comes down from her room. She immediately starts reciting all these conspiracy theories, homophobic rhetoric, tiktok memes, and going on about "what if the dogs were dead huh?" (note: she is a trans lesbian and used to be quite smart, she says this is all ironic and a joke but nobody's laughing)

then she walked around the couch to stand right behind me, asking "what animal are you now?", and praising trump, and shoving her phone in my face to show me awful memes she saved

I never gave her more than a rare one word reply. I was giving her nothing. but she kept at it for more then 10 minutes straight

When I finally left to go to my room after she started playing the "talk tuah" podcast directly in my ear, she followed me upstairs. when I doubled back to talk to my parents who just got home from a date, my sister scurried upstairs without even saying hello

is is ethical to euthanize her??

You know what, I have been summoned, so I'm gonna actually say what I've been dreading to say because a summoning is a summoning.

Tw: violent impulses (but they are mild aka not at all likely to be acted apon) and manipulative urges? Sounds like I could use more words but this is simply the tw (these are faint though, urges, that is)

Mine is with being a demon, and it involves having the things mentioned above come up when I think about this kintype. Me slashing a knife at someone who did something bad aka sinned, and as a do talking to (at?) then about how they had this coming, and some more personal insults etc, the kind of stuff you see in movies. Memories of this come up, as clear as the rest of my memories in my mind, and...I don't feel bad about it? -scratch that, I absolutely do, but still... As a demon, torture is a part of me...and my style is just...specific. but it's usually people that "deserve it" but hell kinda does whatever, sometimes doing the dirty work for heaven, or toying with it. I just... I consider this this is a part of my demonic(ism? Ity? Ness?) and it's hard to ignore, I'm just scared because you know, it's having memories and urges to mentally torture people... But yeah it's part of being a demon for me, I also have a theory (I have many theories on why I possibly might be certain kintypes) that my manipulative thoughts that came from trauma, I cope with (subconsciously mostly I guess? Look, I'm confusing) by identifying as a demon. (Among other coping mechanisms) And in all honesty, I think wanting to get a tail to lower species dysphoria is better than wanting to...violent impulses go here... And this keeps the thoughts at bay you know? Anyway, you know what they say "we all have demons" I just consider one of mine a kintype
