CALLING ALL WOLVES!
otherkin, therians, lycanthropes, doesnt matter what you are! if youre a wolf, please block celticmountainmists(blog) for your own sake. this is a porn blog that interacts with alterhuman blogs, seemingly only wolves, and ignores boundaries. they have followed me and liked my posts despite me being clear that i dont want porn blog interaction, reblogs from other alterhumans and wolf picture/gif/video blogs including a minor, and adds sexual commentary to posts with wolves. not furries or werewolves, actual wolves. i would suggest reporting them but i dont know if that would really do anything? but if having your alterhumanity sexualized doesnt sit right with you, please block and (obviously) dont harrass.
UPDATED SINCE THEY APPARENTLY HAVE TWO BLOGS WITH BASICALLY THE SAME URLS!

body horror except its just being me
body regularly goes
you have fur and it itches and stings and hurts. you are not meant to have fur. you are meant to have fur. your skin hurts.
teeth too big. too sharp. chew chew chew. your tongue is bleeding.
dogs cant eat this food. dogs cant eat this food. you are a dog. you are not a dog. this food makes you very sick. you do not know why. the doctors do not know why. you are very sick.
you have ears. everything is very very loud. you can tilt them back but it does nothing. nobody knows you are upset. you do not know how to be upset like a person. the noise is very very loud.
you are in pain but you can tell no one. they will laugh. they will tilt their heads and look at you like you are a freak. they will hurt you worse. you are in pain.
your legs are the wrong shape. you do not know what the right shape is. they are not always the same shape and neither is quite right.
you are so bored. your teeth itch. you do not always have teeth. you do always have flesh to sink them into but the flesh cries and laughs and speaks to you. whatever you are, you are expected to be a person. you do not know what you are. you are not a person

keep getting that bone deep urge to bite people really hard and the desire is so strong that usually i can feel my teeth transforming in my maw in preparation. it gets so uncomfortable between keeping myself from biting and having teeth too big for my mouth

Hey. Reminder that you dont have to hallucinate to have delusions. They are not one in the same and only exist with the other. Ppl with purely delusions exist.
A delusion is an unshakable belief. Whether or not you perceive it vividly doesnt matter bc delusions dont care about logic or even evidence.

Been trying to find a way to explain this for a while. For us, we are physically nonhuman (for non-psychosis reasons), AND we have clinical lycanthropy, as a result of already being physically nonhuman.
We were born physically nonhuman, for a multitude of reasons. Some of it being genetic: the body's ancestors were lycanthropes. That lineage goes back at the very least to Old Norse times. Their lycanthropy was similar to berserkers - they fully shifted in the midst of battle, in an instinct-driven fury. But the wolf-like traits persisted even outside of battle, and became more dominant over the course of their lifetime.
This lines up with how our body changes over time. Our body hair / fur gets thicker and darker, and grows faster than even most cis men we know (despite us being a trans man). Our teeth have grown sharper, our nails / claws grow fast and point at the ends, etc. (We even grew a second set of underdeveloped nipples during puberty that we weren't born with).
We're also something of a changeling. The baby growing in our mother's womb was not going to survive without intervention. So a fae prince gifted the developing child with 6 souls, that of Lupine Eldertrees. They are wolf-like tree beasts, that formed the foundation of our system from the very beginning. Their influence is found in all of us.
The physical aspect of our lycanthropy is so apparent that pretty much every single system member who fronts recognizes the body as lycanthropic. And then, whatever their form is (i.e. angel, demon, alien, etc) will be overlaid on top of the lycan form. Regardless of the fact that we all have wildly different identities and forms, the lycan form always come first because that's simply what our body is.
Ultimately, though, regardless of any other reason, we are physically a lycanthrope. We are certain that truth, in and of itself, is not a delusion. Its not a pathology, its a coherent assessment of all our understanding of our physical form.
So, where does the clinical lycanthropy come into play for us? Well, for much of our life we've been forced into denial about our nonhumanity. We've been punished for expressing it and taught to suppress it. We became convinced that it couldn't be real.
It was the dissonance between the truth of our physical body and the lies we were taught to believe, that caused the symptoms of clinical lycanthropy. Shifts became more painful than they needed to be, we would black out and behave more aggressively, we would run away in fear and try to hide from the world. Our lycanthropy became pathological and interwoven with trauma responses.
So again, its not the fact that we're physically nonhuman that made us a clinical lycanthrope, it was the denial of it. It was suppressing our true self that caused the delusions of fear and pain and uncontrollable rage.
As we become more accepting of the nature of our body, our self-image stabilizes. Our shifts are more predictable, less painful, and they don't make us afraid or send us into a defensive frenzy. And its because we accepted that we are physically nonhuman, not because of being reality checked and convinced to believe we're actually human. The ladder is what caused all that needless suffering in the first place.

Lycanthrope ask game!!!
🐺 - Do any existing wolf (or other animal) species look more like you, or are you something different?
🌕 - Do moon phases affect your form? If so, what moon phases?
🌲 - Is your form more feral or anthro?
🐾 - Can you control what your form looks like?
⭐️ - How "conscious" are you when shifted? (Can you understand words, stuff like that)
🍂 - Do the seasons affect your form?
🌙 - Do you consider yourself human at all?
🍄 - Can you shift into more than one animal?
🌚 - How good are you with animals similar to your species (if you can be around them, or something like that) (Example: A werewolf good with dogs, a werecoyote scared of larger canids like dogs, etc.)
🪵 - Do you have any self inserts that are lycanthropes (or something similar)
Have fun with this! Feel free to ask me a lot of these, I made this because I'm bored an want to yap.
Also, this was made with physical lycanthropes, zoanthropes, and cynanthropes in mind, but anyone can join!

Genuine question for clinicals who are able to double book-keep (I think that's the right term, please forgive me if it isnt I'm not clinical) have you ever had an experience where your body was shifting but you could feel that it was still physically human? Or did it feel like your body was literally changing into an animal and couldn't at all tell that it was still physically human?
This may be a dumb question but im curious! Let me know please!
(constructive criticism or information is greatly appreciated!)

finally got around to drawing a realistic ish thing of my wolf form since werewolves are versatile in form
Tumblr media
too lazy to color it but i got a good photo for coat color- not solid black so much as a mottled gray
around the size of a small wolfdog i guess? its hard to pinpoint. gangly n long limbed like a human (though better suited for quadrupedal movement, i can stand) but otherwise mostly wolfish in function and appearance. ears are actually less fluffy and need to be tweaked but im tired.
as usual find more of my art at @puppunkz
